Ask to Join The Chronicles of Necros: Knight Fall

Monn nodded. "Yes alright, but it seems that this man here dosen't want your help. I agree he's cowardly and runs away from his problem but that not something you should be worried about."

Octia, after having read her letter, sat in the tavern she had first entered the tunnels from. The ranger drinking a light wine and thinking about what avian might do when he found out about her dithing his half brother in the woods. She then shrugged and enjoyed the entertainment given.

After hearing from one of his few informant Avian frowned and looked at Storm. " Hey I have to take care of something. I'll be at the forest when I'm able to." He said before putting his hood back on. After a while he got the information and made his way to a tavern. he saw Octia and sat down beside her. " I'll have a honeymead and buy whatever she's having." He said to the waitress. " So he told you to piss off didn't he." Avian asked.

"Yep. And technically he's also a prince so I can't really disobey. If he does hold grudges or simply orders then I'll be thrown in prison. Plus your guard was with him," Octia shrugged and took another drink. Her eyes flickering over to look at him before back at the musicians, "so which rat told you were I was"?

" Well." Avian said as he took a sip of his Honeymead. " I have spies everywhere. So it wasn't hard to track you're location. Secondly I have more rank than he does. So unless I order it you won't be thrown into prison. Look for some odd reason I trust you." He said. " You think I would ask you to be his body guard if I didn't. He's most likely dealing with survivors guilt. It's a whore but he can pull through it I know he can."

The man looked at Mon. "I already connected with him." He said. " So I'm going to have to fallow. Maybe I should actually talk to him then just fallow him." He said with a little bit of a laugh.

"Trust is a very valuable thing. Don't say that you trust someone without a solid reason," she offered a mock toast before taking another drink. She pulled the letter from her pocket and hummed, "what's the fastest way to Tronio? I have business there that I can't get out of".

"We? This is personal, no companions allowed," she chuckled and looked at the prince with a raised brow. She leaned back and took another drink, calling the bar maid over to get another. The outlaw then stood up and picked up her drink, "might want to get out of here. Not to many people here were very happy with the Royal family before the coup".

"Yeah." He said. " And my farther didn't exactly help that either. I have to let these people have faith in the crown again. " Let's get going." He said as he stood up. " Sooner we go there sooner you get back to guarding my brother." He said as he looked at her. " My tagging along is non negotiable, Last thing I need is for you to ambushed."

"But I won't. I know how to sneak and I don't need you accompanying me," Octia downed her drink quickly before speaking briefly with the bar keep and heading up the stairs to use a room. She sighed and moved around people before climbing up the stairs, ducking into the room she had ordered quickly.

Avian walked outside and waited. He knew she was probably going to jump out of one of the windows. He didn't know why he wanted to accompany her but he did. and he was going to whether she liked it or not.

Octia walked back out after a minute and slipped into the tunnels through the inside entrence of the cellar. She whistled to her friends and moved through them on her way to the outside of the city, walking underneath the streets.

Avian tapped his foot as he waited. He cursed as he went back in. " Where's you're entrance?"
" Piss off." The bartender said. Avian shook his head before punching the man's face. " cellar." the man said.
" Good." He said before he entered the tunnel and found Octia. He decided to stay a bit behind her. She might not want him to tag along but it was his duety to protect his citizens even those with shady backgrounds.

David stopped when he saw his former tavern burned to the ground. He leaned against one of the buildings closest to him. He leaned down his head as he started to cry.

Octia felt the eyes on her back and grumbled, quickening her pace and moving through a bunch of tunnels that led in different directions to try and lose anyone of they were tailing her. The ranger's nerves jumping at the idea of a mystery person following her.

Avian kept on her tail. He stayed behind he saw a shadowy figure a head of her. He saw a knife in the man's hands. It looked like he might be getting ready to attack. He quickened his pace hoping to get there before the mystery man strikes.

Octia still felt the eyes on her back and when a second pair seemed to join the first she started sprinting. She used the wall and lept around people, sliding through them until she reach a more heavily traveled tunnel the led to out of the city. Taking a pale brown cloak and hood to hide herself in the crowd.

Avian lost her. He sighed. He asked a traveler which way Tronio was. He got an answer and headed that way. After a good amount of time he made it there and waited for Octia. He knew she might already be out but he wasn't going to take a chance.

Octia stumbled a little bit when a man pushed past her. She let her good fall and stretched, happy that she felt like she was no longer being watched. She climbed into a stray tree not to far from the outside of the town she was heading away from. The ranger wanted to take a quick nap so she could regenerate some energy.

Avian kept tapping his foot as he saw a letter drop into his hands. He saw the bird and nodded at it. 'Harry.' He thought. He opened the letter and read it. " I have my opening." He said with a smile on his face. Now all he had to do was get enough knights to fallow him.

David stood up. His eyes where blood shot He picked up his sword and headed towards to forest. He was going to defeat these fuckers. He might be a coward but now his home was burned to the ground, He had nothing else to live for. He was going to take as many of them down as he could. He ran into the forest after a while he didn't know where he was going and ran into Alta. " Sorry." He said. He looked at her then looked away.

Monn caught up with David. "Prince David wait up." He called until a mental image came into his head. "Oh, something big involving prince Avian is going to happen, I need to go where my prince is." He turned to the spirit. "You take care of prince David I have somewhere to be." He said as he walked away. He walked to the edge of the city and stopped, standing still and put stationed one end of the staff on the ground. He closed his eyes and focused. He felt the footprints of the present citizens and those who where left not long ago. He recognized those of Avian. "So that's were you went." He said as he whistled for Fauna. When his mule arrived Monn quickly jumped on her. "We have to go to Tronio." He said.

After her quick cat nap Octia was back on the move, her walking pace quick but not a sprint so that she wouldn't over do herself. The ranger grumbling softly as she fought off a deep sleep for a little longer.

Avian walked into the local tavern and ordered a drink. He wondered what was taking her so long. He shook his head as he downed his drink.
He decided to leave the tavern and head out of the city Heading back the way he came. He kept a decent pace as he looked he saw a figure approaching him.

Octia had put her hood back up incase the prince had somehow passed her. She slowed her pace to a normal walking Pavlov and went to find the meeting place with her brother. The ranger hummed softly, once again a fimular tube playing on her vocal cords.

Avian stopped and looked at the cloaked figure. He noticed enough similiarities that he was atleast forty percent sure it was her. He turned his head waiting for her to pass then fallowed behind her.

Octia felt te feeling of eyes on her again and stopped. She turned into a alley and leaned against a wall, crossing her arms with a frown. She pulled an arrow out and looked at, scrutinizing anything she could fix as she waited for the prince to follow her.

Avian caught up with her. " I told you I was coming with." He said. as he leaned on the other wall. " Look I know you can handle yourself. Hell I've seen it. But I need to make sure you're alive for your duty to the throne. So like it or not I'm coming with you." He said. " I could stay far enough behind like I was if you want."

"Alright. Go back to your camp and stay there. Walk around in a circle for a bit. Besides this business will be a lot more dangerous for you then me," Octia sighed as she looked about the huge city. She pushed off the wall she was leaned on and undid her cloak, handing it to a beggar before she started off again.

Alta sighed as she walked with them and she groaned" Hey Lynn what do you wanna do now?" she asked and she yawned a little before she hugged her tight and she smiled happily

Avian shook his head and fallowed her. " I've been in two now three fucking wars, Seen more death than I can bare. Seen close friends die." He said. His mind went to a close friend named Hunt who was eaten by Wyrven. " I can handle this. besides unlike some poeple I know the importance of having someone watching you're back.

David looked as Alta completely ignored him. He shook his head and walked past them. He had to figure out what to do but couldn't figure out what yet. "Alright time to figure something out." He said. He sat on the grass and tried to come up with a plan.

"Can you dance? Tradition and non traditional," Octia spun to face him and crossed her arms. She narrowed her eyes at the prince, unamused by his persistence. The ranger then looked about and moved back as a carriage pulled up to them and the door was opened. The driver a gentle faced old man, "why hello miss Vixtornus. Good to see you have stayed relatively unharmed. Your brother sent me to fetch you".

"Thank you Robert," Octia smiled at the Ann before climbing into the carriage and leaving the door open so Avain could get in.

Avian climbed into the carriage and closed the door. " Traditional yes as for non traditional a little bit." He said as he looked out a window. " So what can you tell me about the situation?"

"It's a party. I was hoping that I could avoid it but like you my brother has many eyes and ears around," Octia shrugged as the carriage started off toward the destination. She tapped her fingers on the wood of the carriage and looked at him, "what did you think it was going to be"?

" You never know." He said. " what little I know about you I just wasn't expecting it to be a party. Feel kind of stupid for fallowing you now." He kept looking out but his cheeks turned a little red. " Guess it's too late to back out. what can you tell me about the host of this part?"

"He's cocky, had a violent streak, loyal and holds loyalty above everything, an idoit most times, loud, don't insult or harm his family or he will hurt you," she listed off like it was perfectly normal. She then looked at again and knocked on the top of the carriage and it stopped, "you can stay here at this tavern while I go if it makes you more comfortable".

"It's alright. I fallowed you all the way here. I might as well escort you to the party." He said. " I'm a man of my word after all." He said. "The man sounds like an interesting person. Is he the brother I heard the driver mention?"

"Infact he is and please do not call Robert the driver. He's a close family friend," Octia nodded and tapped the roof. The woman stepped out once they got to their destination and walked into a well off seamstress shop. She was immediately flanked by two woman and led to the back to be dressed for the party.

Avian took something out of his pocket and applied it to his hair. His silver hair instantly turned raven black. He took off the rags he was wearing and walked in. He noticed a decent outfit and paid for it. He put it on and waited for her.

Octia stepped out once she was finished. Wearing a soft grey and black dress that touched the ground. Her hair up in a bun but the bangs that were left down where curled. She payed for the treatment and kept her pace as she stepped back into the carriage.

Avian saw her and immediately looked away from her. For the first time he realized how beautiful she was. " You look good." He said. He looked at her and smiled.

"Thank you now hurry up. We may already be late," Octia leaned back agasint the wall of the carriage and looked out the window boredly. She tapped the roof and Robert started off, the ranger wanting to get the party done so she could get out of the corset she was wearing.
