This is a story of a group of Pokemon that find a mysterious diamond with powers that no one could apprehend. It was their goal to retrieve the Diamond from someone who undoubtedly has evil intentions with it in their possession. You start off in a prison and you have to travel the land. Over harsh mountains, deserted plains filled with vicious predators and battle the toughest of enemies. Will they succeed, or will their deaths bring their journey to a disappointing end?

The Crimson Diamond originated in another Dimension, but the natives to that Dimension abused its power, causing it to glitch and destroy that dimension. It saved itself from collapsing by going into hibernation and teleporting to a new Dimension and into our world called Zlefta. It was found but it got stolen to by the antagonist, Seismic. Who then sent the founder of the diamond to prison on death row, so Seismic can have no one foiling his plans. So the founders have to try and get it back.

Rules:
  • You have to read the Pokecharms rules before even considering posting.
  • NO ONE LINERS! if you're on a tablet, it may seem you are doing two lines, when on PC it isn't at all. So keep that in mind.
  • Make sure your character isn't OP and not perfect in every way. We don't want an Arceus, spoiling the RP. Also, make sure that your character is balanced.
  • Make sure your character doesn't have unbelievable luck when it comes to things that occur. "Oh look! A portal straight to the Diamond. How convenient!" None of that XD
  • We don't want any god-modding. We don't want any cheats.
  • Romance is allowed, as long as it's not forced on other people. Put "Discombobulate" In other in order to qualify.
  • Characters can die in this RP.
  • Each person can have two characters max each.
  • Some Gore is allowed, but not too much.
  • No Mega Evolutions.

I encourage people to play as a villain and not just a protagonist. Obviously, if you want to be a protagonist, that's completely fine. You will play as a Pokemon.

There will also be Assassins that appear during the RP also. Being an assassin doesn't go towards your two characters that you can make. Since the assassins only appear once or twice each. You can customize as much as you want, accept it's Assassin name and as long as it is related to the assassin name.

  • Name: Ichiro Juve (Yoo-vay)
  • Species: Monferno

  • Ability: He has the ability to have short bursts of speed or a powerful jump, but he has to pause for a moment before doing it. Possibly leaving himself vulnerable for that moment.
  • Appearance: He has blue tattoos, matching the colour of his eyebrows, all over his arms. They light up when he charges up for his ability. He has goggles resting on his head, above his eyes. He has a mechanical knee and his middle finger on his right hand is mechanical also.
  • Personality: He is a very witty and sarcastic character. He tends to make jokes often, even when his life is at stake, he just can't resist. That sometimes can be a con. He is rarely scared and is always determined and it will take him a lot for him to give up at any point. He is a born leader and is always good when it comes to thinking on his toes. He is confident to a fault also.
  • Weapons/Equipment: Grappling Hook (Broken), Pocket Watch, Pick lock set
  • Specialties/Strengths: He is good at stealth, pick pocketing and stealing, and pick locking. He has good charisma, where he is good at negotiating.
  • Weaknesses: He has a fear of Poison type Pokemon and has a panic attack everytime he sees one or goes near one. He can be very cocky at times and shows off at times.
  • History: He grew up in Ikari Village and when he was 6, he got attacked by a group of Poison-type thugs. Severely damaging his leg and chopping off his finger. He then grew a fear of Poison type Pokemon from that day on. He left his village to become a treasure hunter and made a small crew that followed him on his adventures. He found the Crimson Diamond but got put in prison by Seismic.
  • Relationships: Azure is his younger brother and Viktor is his treasure hunting companion

  • Age: 19
  • Ability: As a Buizel, Seth is a naturally fast Pokemon. He can summon rain to mask his movements and further boost his speed and power.
  • Appearance: Seth's arms and back are covered in small scars that, while mostly hidden by regrown fur, can still be felt as lumps and ridges by anyone who actually manages to touch him. A much more noticeable scarring, however, is visible around his neck. Where there was once a flotation sac is now a mass of scar tissue, kept hidden underneath a black bandanna the Buizel wears around his neck. He also wears a pair of aviator goggles, more for show than any practical purpose. Perhaps a bit strange for a Pokemon, he's also taken to wearing pants, perhaps to hide more scars on his legs, which are held up by a belt. He is tall for his species, a trait perhaps inherited from a larger father, standing 3' rather than the usual 2'4".
  • Personality: A quiet and distant sort, Seth is driven to succeed and tries his best to maintain a degree of professionalism. He is often hostile to those who attempt to get close to him, and often comes across as being emotionally stunted. Still, he knows how to cooperate when he has to, and has a healthy amount of respect for those Pokemon that manage to earn it.
  • Weapons/Equipment: Seth's weapon of choice is a stiletto switchblade, a long and thin knife made for stabbing, rather than slashing. He uses it to make up for his lack of long claws or teeth, especially when he fights Pokemon larger than him, which is fairly often, given his species' small stature.
  • Specialties/Strengths: Seth has been well taught, and excels in fights using his knife and Water attacks. His secret weapon, however, is the move Ice Punch, which he was tutored some time ago.
  • Weaknesses: Poor interpersonal skills aside, Seth is very fragile. He has a very light frame, to give him his speed, and lacks the bulk to take a blow. And, of course, the reason he needs his knife to begin with, is that he is not the strongest fighter either.
  • History: An orphan, though not by Constantine's hand, Seth was taken in at a young age by the Zoroark, who has taught him over the years the skills of the Reaper's trade. Though he will never be as skilled as the older assassin, and certainly won't be inheriting any titles, Seth has been an apt pupil. Over time, he has become efficient and completely desensitized to violence. However, lacking any kind of normal childhood, his emotional development slowed, and eventually ground to a halt. He has followed Constantine from place to place, at first working together with the Reaper, but as the years passed he began to operate on his own, following the Zoroark's orders. He has yet to take his own job, still stuck in his master's long shadow, but has been growing more and more independent as of late.
  • Relationships: The Reaper Assassin Constantine is his tutor, guardian, and surrogate father figure.
  • Name: Constantine, "The Reaper Assassin."

  • Ability: Constantine is a formidable foe befitting the title of "Reaper." He uses his illusions to weed out his target, cutting them off from support and confusing them. All others usually find is the corpse of a friend long dead, as if Death himself had visited.
  • Appearance: A normal Zoroark in appearance, Constantine often uses his illusions to appear as anything, or perhaps even nothing at all. He wears a belt on which is clasped numerous small knives and pouches.
  • Personality: Constantine is, first and foremost, a professional. He is polite, presentable, and has a plan to kill everyone he meets. He is a stern, but patient tutor who rewards success more than he punishes failures. He never betrays a client, and values loyalty above all else. When not on the job, he's actually quite friendly, always ready with a smile and a heartfelt compliment for those who need them.
  • Weapons/Equipment: Though usually one to rely primarily on his claws, Constantine carries poisons and throwing knives on his person, clasped to his belt, just in case such things become necessary.
  • Specialties/Strengths: Constantine bends reality to his whims through his illusions, capable of fooling multiple Pokemon at once and creating entire landscapes out of nothing. While none of it is physically real, the illusion is convincing enough to even fool the sense of touch.
  • Weaknesses: Despite all appearances, Constantine's illusions are not perfect. Despite everything, he is still just a Zoroark, with all the strengths and weaknesses thereof. His illusions have a limited range of effect centered around him, and successfully striking him breaks his concentration and dispels the whole thing. He also cannot tailor his illusions towards individual Pokemon, all those trapped in it see the same thing. Though he is a powerful fighter, stripped of his illusions he is actually quite fragile as well.
  • History: Befitting a figure such as himself, the Reaper's backstory is cloaked in myth. The truth is, actually, rather boring. Constantine discovered at a young age how much his illusions allowed him to get away with. Never one for good impulse control, he quickly graduated from petty theft and shoplifting to general thuggery. From there, he carved a bloody path to the top until he sat as one of the three most feared assassins in the known world. Once there, he discovered that there was much more room at the top than he originally assumed, and mellowed somewhat, happily sharing the same whispered tones that his title was spoken of on with his counterparts the Mecha and Smoke Assassins. Picking up Seth as an apprentice before the Buizel even hit double digits in age further helped the Zoroark grow into the patient and professional Pokemon he is today.
  • Relationships: Though he shares many professional relationships with fellow assassins and clients everywhere, his apprentice, Seth, is the only Pokemon he is close to.
  • Other: Discombobulate.
I've tried to make them strong, as befitting villains - though my idea for Seth involves him acting as a mole within the party during which time he could stay villainous or be redeemed, depending on what others want to do. I'll happily nerf either of them if they seem too powerful, though.

Age: just turned 16
Ability: He is telekinetic, and can use red lightning from the tip of the stick he carries.
Appearance: a braixen with red and cyan eyes that wears a mystic water and has a bracelet that looks like a mega bracelet, that lets him use the red lightning, and can use it like a chidori if his wand is not near. When hes angry, his cyan eye blazes with blue fire like sans.
Personality: Cares about others, brave, would sacrifice himself for others he cared about.
Weapons/Equipment: an ivory flute that he played when he felt sad (the opening theme of kingdom hearts 358days/2), his birch wand (a white version of snipes (harry potter) wand), and 2 arm gauntlets that act shoot grapling hooks.
Strengths: red lightning, telekinetic abilities, and is faster than regular braixens.
Weakness: is manipulative, as for he wojld sacrifice himself for a friend.

I really like it because of the fact that it reminds me of pokemon mystery dungeon: explorers of sky, one of the pokemon games i grew up with.

Name: Noir, "The Smoke Assasin"
Species: Noivern
Gender: male
Age: unknown
Ability: whenever he generates sound, deadly black smoke starts to seep out. When he realeses it, it comes out like a blade.
Appearance: a noivern with a triangle shaped cut in its ear, with crude red eyes, and ragged sharp claws to match.
Personality: Cold hearted, Cruel, keeps a grudge, and will die just to dring someone else down.
Weapons: needs none, relies on sound and claws to fight.
Strengths: black smoke, faster than normal.
Weakness: he can only go so fast for so long.
Relationships: none
History: TBA as story progresses, all that is known so far is that the missing part of his ear was from a savage garchomp.

  • Appearance: The mark on his "head" seems to be shaped more like an X, three slash marks on his stomach.
  • Personality: Hes quite protective of those close to him and his remaining family, Otherwise, hes cold and ruthless and hard to stop in the middle of combat.
  • Weapons/Equipment: He uses double the bonemerangs, No one knows where he got the other one, though, He has a pickaxe rested on his back, It's quite inefficient from wear, though.
  • Specialties/Strengths: He hits hard, but he's pretty inaccurate at long range, and sluggish at close range, anyway. Might be able to one shot pokemon, Who knows, though.
  • Weaknesses: As stated above, he has about half the accuracy for non-melee attacks, and hits pretty slow, Cought a nasty cough in Ikari village due to a group of evil poison type pokemon, He still doesnt know where the clouds of smog came from, though.
  • History: Viktor was a very skilled craftsman in Ikari village, Sometimes people came to him to ask him to make things, and pick them up later or the next day. What really surprised him was a certain monferno, that went by the name of something like Ichiro. He'd ask for some of the most complicated things he's ever heard, A grappling hook, and a lock pick set, or something like it. Of course, it all sounded suspicious and all, But when he asked, the monferno replied with something about being a treasure hunter. It was, much later that week when he actually finished the tools. After delivering the tools, He asked to join him in "Treasure hunting", and so he agreed.
A large time later, they had found an odd, blood red diamond, However, they were ambushed and jailed by someone named Seismic, Viktor hasnt seen any of the group since, however, believing they were killed.
  • Relationships: Friends with Ichiro, Got captured with him unfortunately.

Weapons: when turns into a meowstic, uses scythe.
Strengths: can shapeshift into things shes seen
Weaknesses: once shapeshifted, she takes on the weakness of what ever pokemon she transforms into.
History: used to live in littleroot town, ran away when she was spotted. Shhe was supposed to be arrested, but she got away.

  • Name: Luke
  • Species: Lucario
  • Gender: Male
  • Age: 27
  • Ability: He can create Bone constructs with his Bone Rush but can really wear Luke down, He can create swords, Shields, Keys, Etc.
  • Appearance: He wears a White scarf patterned with small black X's, He wears a usually unbuttoned black leather jacket and Silver Gauntlets and a Garchomp tooth necklace
  • Personality: He is a pretty cocky guy, He usually acts like he is the coolest person ever but has been known to show his "Emotional Side" Oh, I forgot to say, You won't like him when he's.... Upset....
  • Weapons/Equipment: He uses dual steel gauntlets and two grappling hooks on his Gauntlets
  • Specialties/Strengths: He is extremely fast and extremely strong, He can lift large rocks with ease and throw them at enemies or catch incoming large heavy objects
  • Weaknesses: Other than his Weakness's to Fire, Ground and Fighting, Luke has very low defense and a couple of precise hits could make him down for the count
  • History: Luke was always a very lonely person, Never really having anyone else to talk to, He would always train alone in the forest and only came back to Eat, Sleep and Drink, He came back one day to find that a group of treasure hunters was forming so he decided to join to use his skills
  • Relationships: Is presumed to be the Brother of Vena

  • Ability: After teaching herself Metal Burst despite Lucario's not being able, She can create Steel Constructs in a similar way to Luke the only difference is that she is seen to not get tired from it
  • Appearance: She wears a Ninja outfit similiar to the Ninja Boy trainers, She wears a Bandana and a Eyepatch over her left eye with more feminine hair? Quills? Outlets? I don't know what they are, They are just the things on the back of a Lucario's head
  • Personality: She usually likes to be Passive-Aggressive with everyone and likes to fool her enemies into stopping and giving her a perfect time to strike, She is RARELY showing any fixed emotion, She is either Jealous-Proud, Happy-Sad, Angry-Annoyed etc
  • Weapons/Equipment: She uses a Steel Katana of her creation and smoke bombs (So pretty much the arsenal of a actual ninja)
  • Specialties/Strengths: She is known to be able to do extremely hard to do slices and dashes and is a fast enemy on the battlefield
  • Weaknesses: Very low defense and Fire, Fighting, Ground
  • History: Unknown
  • Relationships: Presumed to be Luke's sister

  • Personality: She usually likes to be Passive-Aggressive with everyone and likes to fool her enemies into stopping and giving her a perfect time to strike, She is RARELY showing any fixed emotion, She is either Jealous-Proud, Happy-Sad, Angry-Annoyed etc
  • Weapons/Equipment: She uses a Steel Katana of her creation and smoke bombs (So pretty much the arsenal of a actual ninja)

Can I join? I was thinking in having two characters.

Name: Lumen
Species: Xatu
Gender: Male
Age: 27
Ability: Magic Bounce
Appearance: Just a normal Xatu. He wears a white robe with golden decorations. He has a golden and white mask covering the right part of his face. He also have a big golden sun-shaped necklace with a clock. He carries a white and golden hand bag where he stores some potions, books... He is accompained with two stoned statues that Lumen controlls: one of a Hydreigon, that it's called Fortitude; the other, a Skorupi, called Sapientia. They don't do nothing; but Lumen enjoys talking with them when he is alone.
Personality: Friendly and kind, yet still, enigmatic, misterious and not too talkative . He believes in the goodness of most of the Pokemon. He defines himself as loyal, trustful and intelligent. He is clearly a mystic; a faithful adept of the higher deities; specially with Dialga. He tries to avoid fighting with other Pokemon. A little mad; a pretty "odd Pokemon".
Weapons/Equipment: His primary weapon is a book. The book is decorated with the same golden and white ornaments that Lumen wears. He casts some spells with it: false invocations, energy balls, shields... They are not very powerful, but it's enough for defending himself from some attacks, intimidate other Pokemon... He also have a double spear; although he is not very good with it. He uses it just for defending himself in case some Pokemon attacks him closely.
Specialties/Strengths: Lumen is an expert with magic tricks and illusions (after all; he is a Psychic Type). He is able to fight against other Pokemon (the few times that he does it) without fighting them at all. He impresses his rivals in order to avoid fight. Pretty agile, and intelligent. He knows how to create some natural potions. He can see past and future, although future visions are not always exact (they can see all the future possibilities, so it's not sure that he can see the future that is going to happen; there are a lot of decisions that may change the future).
Weaknesses: Although Lumen is skilled with his casts; those consume a lot of energy, so Lumen gets exhausted if he abuses of them. He can see future and past, but he can't control that ability at all, so he may have past or future visions in innapropiate moments. As I said before, his future visions may not be reliable. His pacifist nature may play against him.
History: When he was a little Natu, he had a dream where a misterious voice told him that he was going to do great things in the future. Since then, he thought that he was a "messenger from the deities", and he spent his life praying and helping the others., always looking for that "heroic thing" that the misterious voice told him. Now, he travels around the world, knowing new cultures and searching for his own destiny.
Relationships: He is pretty lonely. He don't have anyone that can consider him as a "friend". Not open for any kind of love relationships (that's what happens when you oversaturate your world with nothing, except religious fundaments)

Ability: Corrosion
Appearance: A normal Salazzle. She wears a dark cowboy-style hat, with the ace of hearts in a lateral of it; and a very dark and tight dress; with some purple ornaments in it; fire-retardant due to Salazzle's abilities. She also has a necklace made of black tourmaline. with the shape of a crescent moon. She has in her back a sheath for her blade.
Personality: Tough. She is only moved by her interests. Machiavelian and manipulative with the others. Proud of her abilities; but she will run away if things get too difficult.
Weapons/Equipment: her principal weapons are her pheromones and claws. If she is in danger, she has a light, but resistent, sword that uses for defending herself.
Specialties/Strengths: As a Salazzle, she can create very potent pheromones; not only for Salandits; she can confuse and make other Pokemon do whatever she wants. She plays games: she focus on a Pokemon, use her pheromones and manipulates them for doing what she wants; even betraying close Pokemon of the victim. Expert in trickery.
Weaknesses: She is a lady, and won't go to very dirty places. She is pretty weak too, although she looks tough; she doesn't last too much in combats, and that's why she prefers manipulate other Pokemon and make them fight for her. Pheromones takes some time to be produced, so she can't use them for very extended times (maybe... More than 10 minutes?).
History: Umbra was an expert in trickery since she was a Salandit. She managed to improve the effects of her pheromones just to cancel other Pokemon's willingness and manipulate them as a doll. When he became popular in his native lands, she decided to leave and find a new place where she could have more power and wealth. Now, she is working, almost like a mercenary, trying to become popular.
Relationships: She has no friends at all. She only has allies; and only the ones that she thinks that are as strong or stronger or has any other qualities that can benefit her. Open for love, but it won't be easy to conquer her heart.
Other: Discombobulate.

And I just want to apologize in advance. English is not my native language, and I am practicing in this page too as much as I can. So, although I will try to write elaborated posts, I will probably make some mistakes (grammatically or writing), my vocabulary is not very rich, and all that stuff.

Yeah, I prefer start roleplaying as Umbra when someone reaches a village or something like that. I was planning to start with Lumen. It will one of those weirdo characters, so i prefer starting with him because it's one character that appears from nowhere and all that stuff, not much explanations required...
One last question before I post... The jail... Where is it? I mean... A village, in the middle of a desert, a field... Isolated, far from villages... I just want to recreate the stage.

it is quite far from civilization. So whoever escapes will still have a hike to do, through quite dangerous areas.

I dont think it'd be very fair if a Braxien, which is 32.0 lbs or 14.5 kg would be able to knock a
188.5 lbs/85.5 kg turtle with a minigun off a roof, especially since Im sure the trapdoor wasnt at the edge of the roof.

@Meepy has a point. @Yuya Sasaki your character bio never specified it having great strength or anything like that. Plus, it seemed to be one of them mage-like characters. How come he's not using his spells instead of kicking them off the building. I'm not cheesed off or anything it's just, make sure your character follows the bio and not be whatever you want. Let's move on.

can you please, fill out the personality part of the bio, because it's all about the character's personality not the nature and read the thread rules, very carefully. Cause your missing something else as well.
