Post a char name age brief description and the Pokemon you are using for the tournament. No legendaries

A mysterious group of benefactors is hosting a tournament on a remote island with incredible rewards for the winner. The only way onto the island is by a boat who can navigate the reefs or a helecopter pilot with clearance. The amenities and furnishings Inge island are top notch and all expenses are paid for entered trainers.

Without further ado let the tournament begin.

(Please post characters submissions in the discussion thread) Wait for approval before posting please

Efren was ready for the tournament. His Charizard, Blaze, carried him to the tournament. He had some time to rest after carrying Efren before the tournament, so the flight would be good exercise. They were ready for this tournament, and would take home the prize.

As Efren approached the island a large bolt of lightning struck right in front of The Charizard. The shot did not seem to have the intent to hit the two, more like a warning shot. Initial scrutiny will show the bolt came from a group of 5 people wearing matching white security uniforms below each with the crest of the tournament displayed. The crest shows a large black bird similar to the sillouhetes of the three kanto legendary birds. Each guard had a magneton with them.

Elfren was happy to see some escorts, "Well hello there! I see that you are with the tournament. Could you show me where this tournament takes place. I have been searching for ages!"

A large blonde headed man with hard eyes stepped forward. "You are entering a secure area through unauthorized means. Let me see your trainer identification and your tournament card." His no nonsense tone and the stances of the other guard left no room for argument.

"Garrrrrrr!"

A loud booming roar could be heard from the nearby beach. Two figures were standing on what seemed to be.. A peice of wood?

"Alright Ago, we're here!"

Kossetsu fell off his raft, and bailed out onto the beach, Garchomp landing on top of him. They had planned on renting a kayak, but, it seemed that Ko woke up just a little too late today. Every kayak was gone from the local renting shop. But, never the less, they found their way here. His hair was a mess, he waa covered in sand, but he was there. Kossetsu and Ago walked up to the closest gate, seeing what he assumed was another contestant, a Charizard, and a few cranky guards.

"Jeez, what crawled up your butts today?"

OOC: no gates the Charizard was stopped on the island shore, just wilderness around.

The guards turn toward Kossetsu. The leader grunts in annoyance "Did anyone use the approved means of transportation. Both of you trainer ID cards and Tournament cards now. I will not ask again." The magnetons all began to spark and link together building electricity.

Delilah, after having sailed the whole voyage to this strangely remote tournament, was more than eager to exit the boat and onto dry land. Without trepidation, she pushed her way past some of the others who were crossing the gangplank and immediately fell to her hands and knees. She kissed the ground and pressed her cheek up against the soil.

"Ah! That was the most terrible experience I've ever had! Now I know why bug pokemon stay as far away from water as they can!" She heard some murmuring and it immediately struck her that her actions may have been construed as unusual. The female trainer slowly lifted her head from the ground and turned to look at a couple of trainers who were staring at her. As if she could salvage the situation, she immediately stood up and cleared her throat. "Uh...yeah! This-this is good soil! Good for planting and farming. I'm sure plenty of grass-types will do well here!" Without another word, she began walking away from the scene with her hands behind her head in a casual manner.

"Whew...dodged that bullet. Don't think I want anyone here thinking I'm crazy and disqualifying me from the event."

Delilah stopped and took a look at her surroundings. The harbor was bustling with arriving trainers, many of which looked quite battle-ready and skilled. Despite her fear of water, she had every bit of confidence that she could beat any of these trainers with nothing but her Beedrill.

Speaking of which...she noted that some of these trainers already had their pokemon out of their pokeballs and traveling with them. Delilah saw no harm in doing the same now that she wasn't surrounded by water.

Taking out her pokeball and hitting the button to expand it, she threw it in a curving arch towards the ground. "Beedrill, go!" Out from the pokeball, her Beedrill emerged with his signature buzzing. His emergence was immediately greeted by a strong, binding hug from Delilah. "Oooh! My poor Beedrill! He was so close to water he must've been terrified! Don't you worry. Mama won't let any nasty water get to you!"

The Beedrill, as was the case for the whole time he'd belonged to her, was taken aback by her over-affection.

After babying him for a good minute, Delilah released her Beedrill and struck a confident pose. "Alright, Beedrill! Let's take on this tournament together!"

The boat jack was on had finally arrived on the island"oh god thank you...i don't feel so good"jack got up from the ground and landed on the island"man i hate transportation"his Gengar was behind him laughing"don't laugh at me,looks like theres already trainers here they seem pretty strong lets go say hi Gengar"Jack started running towards them "what a bunch of mad guards"

For those who got off the boat there is a central tiled platform with a stylized image of a giant master ball on the tile. There is a large table set up for every region of the world and behind each of the tables is a woman wearing a dress with the tournament logo on it (The logo btw is the dark bird on all the employees uniforms battling in the sky with what looks like colored silhouettes of moltres, articuno, and zapados). Each table has four guards around it 2 flanking each side, further inspection will show electronic surveillance all around the platform. Security is clearly very tight here. The trainers that have gotten off the boat are each going to a table that represents there home region to register. There are all types present and diverse ages, some unknown and some well known champions or trainers. Each trainer that talks to one of the receptionist gets a slightly shocked look on their face at first.

Delilah looked to the stylized master ball in wonder. She then turned her attention to the tables that were set up for each region. The bug enthusiast found her table, the Hoenn region, then approached it and loudly proclaimed, “I am the great Bumble Bee! I am here to participate in his tournament with my Beedrill. What will I have to do to register?”

Delilah took note of the tight security around this place. While it was strangely secure, she had no reason to believe that was a bad thing. She never did anything to break the rules, so she figured she had nothing to fear. In fact, maybe increased security would weed out some of the competition.

The arrogant trainer’s voice went from loud and grand to a bit more quiet. She softly whispered to the lady behind the desk. “...also, once I’m done here, can you point me to the nearest restroom? That was kind of a long voyage and I’m not really comfortable on boats.”

Beedrill nearly dropped to the ground. He never could quite grasp why his trainer would boast so loudly, especially right before she needed assistance.

"Alright, alright, here's my stuff."

Kossetsu shuffled through his packed pockets, dropping multiple things on the ground. Soon enough, he pulled out a black trainer card along with his tournament ticket.

"There, is that good enough for you?"

Efret was showed the guards his trainer card and tournament ticket, and was allowed through. "Man, that was tight," he said to his Charizard, "Maybe it is just a precaution.

A fiery Red Head steps off the boat. watches the young girl who, being clearly far to attached to her bug Pokemon has begun taking on his characteristics, kiss the ground. The red headed Dr. shakes her head. This will be quite the experience. She quickly walkes to the Kanto table and registers. She reaches her hand down and pets her Sylveon. "Come along Alex, there is much to be seen here on this island.

The blonde headed woman behind the table smiled at Delilah. Welcome to Jinko island home of the Dark Tournament. Please submit your trainer ID card and you tournament card for verification. Then please hand over all of your potions, pokeballs, held items, and check any other Pokemon you brought into the center.

The guard took both cards from the boys and ran them along a handheld scanner. There was a click and s green light before he grunted and nodded. I am sorry for the precaution gentlemen, but we take security very serious on Jinko. He smiled although it was more slightly chilling then warm and friendly. Then he turned toward on of his men. "Brad please escort our two trainers to the reception desk with the rest of the contestants. A short stocky guy behind the leader nodded and then looked at the boys "follow me." He then walked over to a strange vehicle parked on the side that had no wheels.

The lady behind Jacks desk took both cards and scanned them, then she inserted a chip into his tournament card. Please place all Pokemon based items in the cart and turn in extra Pokemon you have brought to the care of the Pokemon center.

Delilah looked a little confused at first, but then smiled and rubbed her hand behind her head. "Oh yeah! I almost forgot about that. Here you go!" She reached into her back pocket and handed over her Trainer ID card and Tournament ID card. Afterwards, she plopped her backpack on the table and began removing whatever potions and pokeballs that she had brought with her, piling them on the table then scooting them over to the very professional-looking lady.

"And I don't have any other pokemon, just my Beedrill and I for this trip." Delilah blushed and placed her hands on her hips, "I mean, I can definitely catch a lot of pokemon, it's just that not a lot of pokemon can handle a trainer like me."

After a brief pause, she continued. "So uh...after this, where do I go? And are we allowed to explore this island? I'd love to see what bug-type pokemon live here."

Jack gave the lady all of his pokeballs and other items he had with him"i wonder how strong everyone here is"Jack started to get pumped up"man i can't wait to fight everyone here"

Efret had not brought any items or pokeballs, so he was fine. His Charizard was a fine speciment, so even if he was allowed other pokemon, he would not need them, or so he thought.

The different check on ladies each took checked people's IDs and added a chip to everyone's tournament card before taking their items. The lady behind the desk if Delilah looked at her, " there is s bathroom in the poke center and the hotel. You will be allowed to do all the exploring you want soon once the tournament is over." She smiled showing pearly white teeth.

Guards directed the trainers who did not need to visit the poke enter through a large electronic archway. As the trainers stood in line they noticed the arch glow red an a small alarm went off. The next thing they know a young man was being dragged out of the line by several guards. The guards roughly searched him and pulled out two pokeballs. They then escorted him off toward a room.

After passing through the archway a grand hotel building could be seen. The area was full of trainers and their chosen Pokemon relaxing or at play with each other.

“Great! With me in the tournament, this’ll be over in no time,” Delilah looked at her nails with half-lidded eyes before walking away from the desk. Instead of moving toward the Pokecenter, she decided it best to just follow the guards who were directing where to go. While she needed to use the restroom, she could hold it until she reached the hotel. Just another little challenge that she knew she could win.

Beedrill buzzed behind her a short ways before clinging onto her back. His large drills were draped over her shoulders to keep himself securely on her without flapping his wings. While he was a bit weighty, Delilah had been more than willing to get used to this gesture, as it meant he could take a break from flying. Not to mention she found absolutely everything he did to be adorable.

When the two of them approached the archway, both were shocked to hear an alarm going off. Initially wondering if it was herself, Delilah caught a glimpse of a trainer who was being pulled to the side and searched. Due to the crowd, she didn’t see that he was in possession of two pokeballs, but did see the guards dragging him away.

One cheater caught, one less trainer to stand in my way, Delilah thought. She proceeded through the archway and was amazed at the hotel that graced her with its presence.

“Whoa…” the bug trainer said, stepping away from the crowd for a moment to gawk at the large, luxurious hotel. “...this place is amazing!” She was practically laughing with joy and excitement.

“You know Beedrill, I think we’re going to like this tournament.” She looked over her shoulder and met her Beedrills gaze, who nodded and buzzed in approval.

As the line moved forward, Aidinia eyed the other trainers and their pokemon. She felt something seemed off about this tournament but couldn't quite put her finger on it. She had never heard of a tournament requiring trainers to give up all of their items or their pokemon. This didn't sit well with the Dr. and she was less than comfortable all together.

The unease waived for only a moment at the splendor of the hotel. "Wow!" She whistled, "Would you look at this place. This is worth the trip alone." The hackles on the back of her neck never truly laid back down but she was distracted for the moment.

Several attendants dressed in more casual clothes but still with the tournament logo were greeting each trainer as they walked up to the hotel. "Welcome to the Jinko Island Resort Hotel. Your stay is entirely complementary including all access to the hotel and room service. If each of you will look on the back of your tournament card you will see your room number. The card will grant you access to your individual rooms, just swipe it like a key card. The tournament will start tomorrow at 9:00am so be sure to get a good nights rest. Until then please enjoy your stay."

“Thanks!” Delilah said with joyful enthusiasm as the attendant explained what her card gave her access to. As she continued passed the tournament staff, she looked over her shoulder at her Beedrill. “Did you hear that? Even the room service is complimentary! We better eat up before they regret it!”

To the trainer’s dislike, the tournament wasn’t actually beginning until the next day. On the bright side, this gave her a chance to grab some food and meet with some of the other trainers in the tournament. Mingling wasn’t her strongsuit, but she was determined to rise to the challenge.

“Well, Beedrill, let’s go see who we’ll be beating to win this tournament.” Beedrill buzzed in three short bursts, agreeing with the sentiment.

Not too far away from where she was, she saw another trainer taking in the view of the hotel. A redhead that looked quite professional for a trainer. Approaching her, Delilah smiled wide. “Hey there! Are you competing in the tournament too? If you are, I hope you know that I’m participating.” She pointed a thumb towards herself confidently, “don’t let that intimidate you. It’s pretty much destiny for me to win this thing.”

Aidinia smirked. 'The girl certainly is full of vim', she thought. "Dr. Aidinia Moon and this Sylveon is known as Alex, and who might you be?" She reached her hand forward to shake hands with the trainer.

"Who am I?" Delilah began with a smirk. Beedrill buzzed in distress and tried to interrupt her before she could get started. He'd heard her introduction time and time again, and he still just couldn't get used to it. He was thankful that she at least wasn't giving her speech in a dangerous situation, which she'd done before.

Striking a crouched pose, the bee-themed trainer loudly proclaimed, “I am the great Bumble Bee! Bug-pokemon trainer extraordinaire! If you haven’t heard of me yet, then prepare to be amazed. Your defeat will sting worse than the Beedrill at my side!” She pointed to her left, her eyes shut tight with excitement.

Reluctantly, Beedrill removed himself from her back and buzzed to the left of her. He then did the routine she'd taught him, where he pointed his drills left, right, then upward like he was being declared the victor.

Not long after he struck his final pose did Delilah immediately break her stance and hug him as tight as she could without crushing him. She then spoke in the most cringeworthy baby-talk voice, "d'awww, that's my good little Beedrill. He's such a good pokemon, yes he is."

Beedrill wriggled out of her grasp then buzzed urgently, reminding Delilah that they were in front of company. The green eyed trainer paused and blinked a few times before turning and looking at Aidinia again. "Oh! Right!" She held out her hand and shook the doctor's hand politely. "Nice to meet you, Doc! I look forward to kicking your butt!"

Beedrill wanted to pinch himself to make sure this terrible introduction wasn't his worst nightmare.

Aidinia giggled a little at the girl. "You certainly are feisty I'll give you that. What is Beedrill's name?" Aidinia looks around at the surrounding hotel lobby. Wondering how many people heard the enthusiastic introduction of Bumble Bee. She seems like a friendly if a bit combative little thing. "What name would you like me to call you as well. While Bumble Bee is a great moniker for the tournament, I would like to have a name with which to associate you. Perhaps we can become friends. This tournament was a means to an ends for me. I rarely battle my pokemon. Usually then only because they wish it. Currently, Alex is my only specimen and she is close to my heart. I have had her since I was a little girl. She was a small Eevee, when we met." Alex cuddles and rubs against Aidinia's thigh. "We are here to see the island. My foster parents told me I was born here at a fishing village. This tournament gave me a pass to get here. I am hoping to work with some new pokemon here." She looks a little lost in thought at the idea of finding the village her parents were from.

“Hm?” Delilah cocked her head to the side at the question about Beedrill’s name. She then nodded in understanding as the doctor introduced her Sylveon as Alex.

“Ah yes, my Beedrill doesn’t have a nickname like that, not yet anyway. I’ve always just called him Beedrill and we got used to that.” She looked up in thought for a few seconds before looking at her Beedrill. The enthused trainer eyed him as though she were making plans. “Then again, maybe we’d change it if we ever needed to rebrand ourselves. Heck, I’d even think of renaming myself.” She looked at Aidinia once more with confidence, “but that’ll never happen! Our names will go down in history, even after I evolve into a grandma!

“As for me, you can call me Ms. Bumble, Bumble, Bee or BB.” She sighed, “...or, if you’re one of those folks who prefers boring formal names: Delilah, Del, Lilah, Jones, or DJ.”

Delilah nodded in interest at why this doctor was on the island. It didn’t sound like she was here to compete at all. She simply wanted to find where she was born. Beedrill seemed fascinated by the story, while his trainer appeared to be practically bursting at the seams to say something else.

Unable to contain it any longer, she pointed her finger at the lady sternly. “Now hold on just a minute!”

The sudden exclamation snapped Beedrill’s attention away from Aidinia. “You’re telling me that you were born here? And you don’t really want to compete?” She gave a hearty laugh. “Well it sounds to me like you have a more important quest than finishing this tournament, and I intend to help you with that!”

Delilah clenched her hand into a fist. “Tell you what. If we ever face off against each other, we’ll make it a quick match so that you can go find your hometown. I’ll go easy on you, and Alex can just feign that she was defeated! That way you’re not stuck patching up your pokemon when you could be out searching for your home.”

The loud trainer held her fist out for a fist-bump. “Then, we can go looking for it together! I may not have a keen sense of direction, but I could be some good muscle in case you and your pokemon run into any powerful wild pokemon along the way. Does that sound like a good deal or what?”

As the trainers talked to each other or walked around the courtyard below, those who looked upwards toward the hotel at that moment encountered a strange sight. On the top floor of the hotel through large glass windows could be seen a group of people walking down a hall. Their were five people in the group total, although only one really stood out. Four of the men and women walking were dressed in tournament guard uniforms. They marched in step with a trained precision, that denoted possible military training. There eyes swept the hall constantly on alert. The man in the center however looked entirely different. He had short blue hair the color of a blue lagoon on a clear sunny day. He was 6ft 2in and had a well muscled build. He walked with the air of confidence of a man who fears nothing, the long black jacket swaying softly behind him with each step he took. When he turned briefly to look out the window at the trainers below, his most striking feature was made apparent. He had eyes of a piercing intense ice blue that seemed to hold each persons gaze who looked in his direction. The kind of eyes that made you feel like he was judging you personally, or staring into your soul. The gaze seemed like an eternity but was in reality very brief as the group finished walking down the hall and entered a room with no windows disappearing from sight.

(Those of you who have a decent amount of poke lore regarding tournaments and past stars may get this feeling. Also anyone old enough to remember tournaments from 8 years ago. The man looks very similar to Drake Valentine. Eight years ago Drake was hailed as the most talented Dragon trainer since Lance of the elite four. He won 3 regional championships in a row, Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn. Shortly after winning the Hoenn championship he disappeared, and no one knows what happened to him.

Aidinia fist bumped Bee. "Sounds like a lot of fun, Bee. I think we can be great friends. Now understand, just because I am not really here for the tournament doesn't mean I'm not going to fight hard. I am still a competitive person by heart." That being said Aidinia smirked at Dee. She patted the Beedrill on the head. "Lets get something to eat. I am famished." She turned on her heal and headed for the restaurant. Thinking to herself 'Food is free, I guess I don't have to be frugal today' She silently hoped that had food Alex would enjoy as well. "What do you like to eat Bee?" She asked turning to see if the girl and her Beedrill were following her.

Down below in the courtyard their were a small multitude of trainers and their pokemon. The tournament had a very large roster it seemed. There were no names, rising stars, and tournament champs all represented. In the pool one red headed teenager sat relaxing on a float, while his rather large Pigeot held it's wings out protecting him from the sun like a guardian statute. The teen was known as Alex Weston, and he was well known in circles as a cocky but very skilled bird trainer. While not having a direct champion title of his own Alex had placed in the semifinals of two different regional tournaments. He was wearing nothing but a pair of bright red swim trunks and his signature pilot goggles rested on top of his head. The Pigeot was known as Maverik and was his strongest Pokemon. Alex had a reputation for being hot headed and brashly impulsive, however he came up with wildly unorthodox tactics that often worked even with low odds. Physically Alex was rather short being only 5ft 3 and weighing in at 125lb. However he liked this as it allowed him to ride on Maverik's back much easier as he was constantly know for doing.

Aidinia whistled... "Would you take a look at the hottie up there (referring to Drake). Would love to meet him. Who is he?" She asked over her shoulder to Bee. She watched closely as the good looking man walked down the hall. She was secretly hoping the he would and would not be coming to dinner at the same time. Having him in the room would be great, but having to control her eyes while trying to eat and pretend not to be interested at the same time just really sounded exhausting. But Oh. the dreams she would have tonight. She thought, 'I really need a boyfriend. This is pathetic' "So about that food," Aidinia said tearing her eyes from the gorgeous man walking down the hall...

Delilah felt a giddiness in the pit of her stomach as Aidinia assured she would fight hard to win, despite wanting to find her birthplace. Regardless of her initial offer, the bee trainer preferred the rush of actually winning a fight. She grinned and chuckled at the doctor’s request, nodding her head in acknowledgement.

Beedrill nuzzled into the pat on his head, and immediately knew she was going to be a good friend.

Right after the doctor turned around, Delilah’s attention was brought upwards. She looked to the top floor of the hotel and saw the group of tournament guards marching in unison. For a minute, she thought maybe they were some sort of dance troupe. That thought slowly faded as she caught a glimpse at the man they appeared to be escorting. Something about his appearance felt very familiar. His eyes were prominent even at this distance, indirectly piercing the impulsive girl and taking her slightly aback. Just as quickly, the man was gone.

It felt like his identity was on the tip of her tongue, but she couldn’t quite get there.

“So about that food.”

“Huh?” Delilah broke from her trance and looked at Aidinia. “Oh...right. I’m not too picky when it comes to good eats.” She slowly returned to her cocky demeanor, placing her hands behind her head as she walked with the doctor. “If it’s in front of me, I’ll eat it.” The hyper trainer laughed, “you shoulda seen me when I was younger. My brother used to dare me to eat leaves. Little did he know I’d already been eating leaves all week!” She paused before clarifying, “I was practicing because I thought I was gonna turn into a Beedrill when I got older. What about you? Do you have any food preferences, Doc?”

Aidinia giggled, "you really are Bee obsessed aren't you? I like leaves, lettuce leaves, cabbage leaves, spinach leaves, I love greens. But I like my meat too. A Beedrill, did you want to be a Beedrill?" The Dr. shook her fiery head and looked sideways at her new friend. "Do you know the Hottie up stairs? You looked at him kinda hard like you were trying to place him." She glanced around the room as she made her way to the dining room.

She glanced around the room taking in her surroundings. Unsure of what she expected to see, She hoped the food was as good as the scenery up unto this point. She searched out a table outside over looking the scenic views of the island. She was happy to be here. If nothing else it would serve as a great vacation.

The nagging feeling came back upon her again as she took her seat. "Hey Bee, is it normal for tournaments to ask you to hand over all of your items and pokemon save one? Something just feels off about this whole thing. Almost to good to be true sort of..." She looked around her nervous again that something was missing...

Location: Jinko Island, Docks
Time: The day before the tournament, Late afternoon
Tagging: Salem, Ajax, Megan
----------------
The sound of people roused Salem from his light dozing. He brushed the light hairs, covering his face, aside and sat up to take in his surroundings. He was in a harbor floating in between ships of various sizes. It seems he made it to the Tournament grounds if the people milling about on the docks were any indication. Salem had been lying on the back of Ajax, his trusted Blastoise, for the better part of the day as they followed in the wake of the ferry they had missed from the mainland. They could have easily made it and had, in fact, arrived on time. They only missed it when Salem had decided to give in to a sudden craving for a fish sandwich and had stepped out again. The young man considered catering to his fancies an important factor to healthy living. Sure you miss out on some things on occasion but the trick is to not let those losses overshadow the gains. And so they ended up swimming… again.

Ajax made his way towards some stairs rising out from the water on the side of the docks and waited patiently for his trainer to hop to shore.

“Thanks Ajax,” Salem said to his companion once he stood on dry land. “A job well done. Remind me that I owe you a nice scrubbing later.”

The giant turtle grumbled a bit and rolled over onto his back.

“Not now buddy, I need to check us in. We don’t want to have come all this way for nothing do we?” Salem laughed. He bend down and leant forward to give his Pokemon a well-deserved pad on the shell before he withdrew him back into his Pokeball and clipped it onto his belt. He stood up straight, stretched and yawned before he started walking down the docks.

There were a lot of people, seemingly from all walks of life. If these all were entering the Tournament this would be a bigger event than he originally suspected.

‘I suppose it was to be expected, since there were fewer requirements for registration than is the norm for events such as these.’ Salem thought to myself as he made his way through the crowd in the direction of the reception. ‘If this Tournament proves to be a lot of fun I might pursue those Gym Badges more seriously in the future.’

As Salem drew closer to the reception he saw that there were various desks set up and that they had banners depicting different regions.

‘Maybe this separation has something to do with the roster later.’ He mused as he stepped in line for the Kanto desk. The line was moving at a steady pace and before long he was standing in front of woman with short dark hair. ‘Poor woman,’ Salem thought, ‘from the look of her she has been sitting here for a while already. It must be tough on the staff with this many people showing up.’

“Trainer ID card and Tournament ID card please.” She droned with all the enthusiasm she could muster after having repeated this particular line countless times today.

Salem reached into the pouch hanging from his belt and handed her the documents she requested. When she blindly reached for them he held onto them until she looked up at him. He gave her an easy smile.

“You’ll miss out on a beautiful day if you only keep that pretty face downcast, miss,” he said in an attempt to brighten up her mood a little, and let go of the documents.

Megan had been having a boring day. She had considered herself lucky when she snagged this job. She got a full expenses paid trip to an island and would get to watch a pokemon tournament for free. When she got their she first realized just how hot the damn island was and the uniform they made her wear was not exactly lightweight. Next they told her to check in every trainer who came to the island from the Kanto region for the next 10 hours with no break. She had already received heated words from several trainers arguing over the fact they had to turn all of their stuff over. This day was getting worse by the moment. She kept telling herself if she just got through it then she could rest and watch the tournament tomorrow and it would all be worth it. Then she heard a young mans voice addressing her directly, not with an argumentative or impatient tone like most, but one with kindness. She blinked and looked upward into a pair of calm green eyes and a kind smile. Megan blinked and blushed a little slowly taking the cards from the trainer hand."Thank you, um.. please hand over all your pokemon related items and any extra balls you may have, and proceed to the pokecenter to deposit any extra pokemon not competing in the tournament." She stammered slightly.
