Phoenix is kind of the opposite in that regard. They had vehicles, weapons like a rocket lancher, and things of that nature. They have even made advanced war suits that would help with the war against the dark.
The Vundal are a race of advanced elven like creatures, who make war weapon, yet as a major contradiction, only use them when needed. Space crafts and ones used to fly are not new to Phoenix, but as I stated before, they do not like to fly inside of crafts.

If he can fly, it's your choice. If he can't, I'd probably say he was on the plane.

Generally just regular prisms, sometimes cubes or anything else that looks like that,
He is using a regular prism to catch Seven
@PlayfulFox47, I can make a post where Phoenix gets off the roof to inspect one who was attacking. Since the Vundal are allied with her race she could see Phoenix and go talk to them.

As I understand, most airplanes has a 'Do not open door mid flight' sign on the door, is it on here?
Probably. Also, you could point out how while she might not know about airplanes, the physics of air pressure should be pretty universal.
Common sense is also a good thing to keep in mind.
