The Dotted Hole Ruins

Chibi realised her mistake too late. Before she could call out a warning, four Lopunnies had already surrounded Hammy and were blowing what looked like tiny red hearts at him. Chibi felt her mouth drop open. Attract. Not a good sign.

It was easy to tell why. Hammy also had a reputation for being overly curious. Thus, as a result of never seeing the move Attract before, stopped and took a great interest in the tiny red hearts swirling around him. He leaned forward and sniffed the closest one curiously.

"Hammy!" Chibi called, "don't-"

Too late. As soon as Hammy's tiny black nose came in contact with he heart, the heart burst apart, scattering even tinier hearts away from it. Hammy reeled back as if he had just been kicked in the jaw and began tottering aimlessly around like someone who had too much to drink. This wandering around caused him to stumble into more hearts, worsening the effect. In the end, Hammy ended up on his back, giggling helplessly as the red hearts mercilessly bombarded him.

"Good work, Lala!" The plan had come out perfectly. Hammy's sudden trapping into this giggling submission was the perfect time to have some fun. "Lala, hold Hammy tight then toss him in the air!" Lala did as told and enjoyed it, since she knew Hammy liked it too.

After Lala tossed Hammy up about five times, Daytime yelled, "Now, Fling him into the air and use Giga Impact on him as he falls to the ground!" Once more, Lala did as she was commanded and flung Hammy up very high, then prepared her Giga Impact as Hammy fell to the ground from the high up sky.

It was really getting difficult for Giselle to really see anything now. Large objects were visible but that was about it, so Giselle nearly fell of of Jaylen in shock when a bird Pokemon flew at her. Once she regained her composure, she saw that it was Fachion who seemed to have something on his back.

"What's this?" said Giselle as the shiny Swellow motioned for her to take whatever it was off his back. It was one of the oddest thing she'd ever seen. The thing was hexagon shaped with a hexagonal glowing center. Giselle racked her brains and remembered that Jayce had one back in the Pokemon Center, but she really hadn't noticed it before. Fachion seemed to be anticipating something out of Giselle. "Oh dear..." said Giselle. How on earth were you even supposed to open it?

Fortunately it wasn't as hard as she thought. Her finger found the button to open it and the screen inside appeared to display a GPS. It was similar to the one on her phone and the map that she had but she preferred not to use them unless it was an emergency. The plain old map was fine, and if she got lost, it was just another adventure. Not to mention her sense of direction was pretty good.

Still, she was very impressed by the radar in the Reflector. It almost had a military type precision to it. It was there that Giselle saw was Fachion was waiting for. There was a glowing dot and a trail leading to it: the Pokemon obviously wanted her to follow it.

"Ah, I see! Thanks Fachion!" said Giselle and the Swellow flew off. "All right Jaylen, it's time for us to move."

Jaylen gave a low rumble as he flew off. Giselle pushed her still wet hair out of her face, thankful that it wasn't cold. It took them no time at all to find Jayce and his hiding place in the valley's crags.

OOC: Yeah, I may edit later ^^; It won't affect subsequent posts though

Jet was looking at his Reflector. The blip of the Reflector that Fachion had on his back was moving back towards his location. Jet instantly knew that Fachion had given Giselle the Reflector, showing the location of where he was with all the tents set-up.

"Pegasus, you better return. I don't want anyone knowing that you're one of the Pokemon I'm planning on using," said Jet, as he recalled the Ponyta into its orange and red Pokeball.

Jet began to think to himself. He was still thinking that Daytime had run into someone that was in his family. Only his family had Reflectors, besides the one Jet had given Day. And he knew instantly which other person had a Reflector constantly. Sophia. She was always on the move. Making sure she never stood out, yet she was considered a prodigy, just like himself. Jet vowed that he would find his older sister, and by asking Daytime, was best start.

--------

Buizel kept scurrying down the rugged path with relative ease. The rain was because of that. Her natural nimbleness and agility came from the rain and her ability, Swift Swim. She kept exploring the area, and kept an eye on everything, till she heard a low growl close by. She chose to investigate.

Buizel quickly found the source of the growl. A nest of Gravelers. And Buizel spotted someone or something in there. And the Gravelers certainly had interest in it. Buizel launched the Swift attack so Jet could see that there was some trouble around. And after that, she caused it to rain heavily with Rain Dance, and dove in using Aqua Jet, head first to attack the Gravelers.

--------

The stars from Swift flew high into the sky. And they sparkeld quite nicely in the air, easily telling Jet that Buizel had found something.

'Well, that's really not surprising that something is wrong,' thought Jet. 'Especially since all these Rock types that are here hate water. And almost everyone has kept using Pokemon that know Rain Dance. Oh well. I better send someone out to help Buizel. And with Tripudium, I can send everyone ahead and I can get there in about 5 seconds. And Fachion still has to come. I think Blade might do better than Levitas. After all, rain makes his attacks a little more vulnerable after using them.'

Jet decided that he would send blade to help out and kicked out his ominous looking Pokeball. "Blade, do your stuff," said Jet, with a cool head. Blade appeared, and waited for Jet's order.

"Go after Buizel, and help her if she needs it," ordered Jet.

With that, the white furred, black clawed Pokemon dashed off and moved to go help Buizel.

Jet turned his head the other way and hoped that Giselle and Fachion would hurry up so he could explain what happened and convince her to go with her and see what was wrong. After all, if it was what he thought it was that she stumbled into, Blade might not be enough to help Buizel. He might have to pull in his heavy weapons from his lab...

"Oh dear," Chibi said as she heard Daytime's order. She somehow had to snap Hammy out of his daze and get him to work again. The only problem was, she had to work with the loving feelings, instead of against them. Her brain began working.

"Hammy!" She called, "you want to impress Lala why don't you?" A squeal from up high in the air. "Then why don't by using Charge?"

Quite high in the air, Hammy took his trainer's advice and began spiking his fur out. It began crackling with electricity that he was building up in it. After a few seconds of concentration, he was almost glowing white from the energy.

"Now," Chibi instructed as Hammy began to fall, "show her how impressive your attacks are by using Charge Beam in front of you!" Not only would the desired effect avoid the Giga Impact, but hopefully get Hammy far enough away from Lala to clear his head.

A blue-tinged beam erupted from Hammy's body, twice as big as normal due to Charge, and twice as powerful. Instead of going straight down as usual, Hammy was blasted back from the force in the beam. He began flying backwards and going down at the same time. In seconds, he was almost a hundred feet away and streaking towards the ground like a stray meteorite; and hit the ground like one too. A curtain of sand flew up around the center of the crash site and slowly came back down like a strange rain.

After a few seconds, Chibi had thought that Hammy had accidently knocked himself out from the crash, but a small white dot appearing over the lip of the small crater said otherwise. It began loping its way towards the group until it stopped in front of Chibi. Hammy kept rubbing his head and blinking his eyes, looking like a Hoothoot awakened from a peaceful sleep.

"I hope the ground knocked some sense into that brain of yours." Chibi said as Hammy looked at her in confusion. He wagged his fluffy tail in a friendly way and smiled.

"Darn it, you're filling his head with ideas!" Daytime yelled as Chibi commanded Hammy to show off for Lala. He knew the commands would protect Hammy from getting hit by the Giga Impact, so he left Lala as while he saw Hammy flying like a rocket. When Hammy hit the ground, Daytime knew that had to hurt somewhat, even if it was sand.

Before Daytime could even give Lala a command, she was already running towards Hammy, worried. "Crud...I forgot about this..." Lala pretty much ran toward Hammy's impact sight and leaped into the cloud of sand. Once it cleared, Lala had too much sand in her eyes to see, and she was reaching around like a girl who dropped her glasses.

"Lala! What're you doing! Stop worrying about Hammy and get fighting!" Daytime yelled, but it didn't get through to Lala. She was too worried about Hammy, due to the fact she ends up falling for anyone she uses Attract on. As Lala continued to crawl around, confused, Daytime noticed it was starting to rain once more.

Well, this was turning out to be yet another pleasant day. Rain pouring down (yet again), slightly tired from all the hiking and staying ever vigilant for whatever had caused that massive roar earlier, and now this. Burlane was thinking that he had just about enough of this area. All he wanted to do was get a little exploring in before the tournament, but no, here were two Gravelers that didn't seem to appreciate his small excursion. "Oh well, let's see what we can do to settle them down, or maybe make them turn tail and run," Burlane thought to himself.

"Argent, you think you can handle these two?" Burlane asked his partner. Argent gave a steady nod and crouched down ready to do battle. "Let's start off with Mud Bomb!"

Argent opened his mouth wide, shooting large balls of mud towards the Rock Pokemon. Several hit their marks and the Graveler stumbled back slightly to get their bearings. With a angry shout, one started to shoot rocks back at the Swampert from its mouth while the other one picked up several nearby large rocks and hurled them towards their antagonizer.

"Counter that Rock Blast with Hammer Arm, then try to get out an Avalanche before the boulders from that Rock Throw get to you!" Burlane anxiously shouted. He hoped his strategy would work.

The Mud Fish Pokemon quickly raised a glowing arm and started to smash through the smaller rocks, but he wasn't quite fast enough. Two rocks smashed into his shoulder and chest, knocking Argent back a couple feet. Grunting through the hits, Argent managed to set his feet in time before the larger boulders could reach him. Slamming his arms together out in front of him in a forceful clap motion, the area immediately surrounding the Swampert dropped to below freezing causing the rain to turn to sleet, snow, and tiny hail. It then exploded past him towards the flying boulders, stopping them in midair with the sheer force of the attack and adding a layer of ice to the sides closest to the Swampert.

By this time both the Graveler had curled up on themselves. This was a classic move from the species. Defense Curl and then Rollout would cause some serious damage, and after all those Hammer Arms, Argent wouldn't be able to move fast enough to dodge, at least not right away. "At least they aren't setting up a Selfdestruct yet, that might be extra dangerous in this weather," Burlane thought to himself. All right, time to employ the best defense is a good offense strategy.

"Argent, looks like they are setting up a Rollout next, it shouldn't be too bad the first go around, especially with how wet it is around here. Use Protect to deflect the first attack and counter the second with a good Waterfall! Let's take 'em out one at a time!"

As they both started spinning rapidly in place, building up power before launching themselves down the short distance to the ready and waiting Swampert. As the first launched itself, Argent crouched down on all fours and encased himself in a light blue glowing sphere. The second one seemed to launch itself right after the first one, making it two extremely pissed off Gravelers coming in at high speed close together. Argent's Protect wouldn't hold for both the attacks.

Thinking quickly Burlane shouted, "Fill up your Protect bubble with water so that as soon as it breaks you won't have to gather the energy to launch your Waterfall attack, Argent!"

Argent looked slightly confused back at his trainer, not knowing if he could manage all of it at once. But something lit up in the wily Swampert's eyes. The sphere protecting Argent opened up on the top, letting the rain pour in, adding to the water he was spouting from his mouth that was rapidly pooling around his feet and filling protective sphere up rather fast.

As the Gravelers approached, Burlane noticed a bright starry attack go up in the air up behind the nest. Wondering what it could be, he peered through the downpour to try and see what was going on. All of a sudden, an orange streak surrounded by a large jet of water streaked in and hit the rear Graveler square in the side, knocking it out of its Rollout attack and sent it tumbling off a few yards. It was a powerful hit, and seemed to take most of the fight out of the now quite stunned Graveler. A Buizel now stood where the attack had landed, looking satisfied with the hit.

The first one had finally hit Argent's protective sphere and had enough force to pop it as it deflected to the side. The water, which by this time had filled up quite fast thanks to the Swampert's innate control of the water, now surged foward towards the spinning Graveler. Argent was rotating within the surge of water, building up power with the churning water, pushing it out ahead of him to slam into the now disoriented Rock Pokemon. The super charged attack hit with amazing force, sending its target flying backward and smashing into the ground. It looked down and out, too much power for one of its major weaknesses. And now they only had to worry about one seriously hurt foe.

A sudden downpour of rain had woken Cody up. Not only that, it caused him to leap up, hurting his already broken rib. "Silver!" Cody called out to the little monkey. As he waited for the return of his friend, he qot quite the suprise.

The entrance to Altering Cave was suddenly disrupted by Silver, running for dear life. Behind him, a mob of Zubat. It wasn't a real threat, it was the kind of Tom and Jerry humor Cody needed to see more of. He wouldv'e laughed harder, but his rib probably would have exploded. Silver lept across the sand, being pursued by at least twenty Zubat, and one Crobat. As he dove into the sand for cover, he used Sand Attack. It was whipped up into the air, shrouding the Zubat in a veil of sand. But, Zubat have no eyes, as Silver quickly learned. The drone like bats continued their pursuit, looking ready to strike with a barrage of Leech Life. Terrified, Silver unleashed a long forgotten move, Shock Wave. Static electricity began building up in his tail, which he was rubbing agaisnt the fur on his back.

At the last second possible before an array of Zubats struck, a sharp jolt of electricity shot out of Silver's tail. It was golden in color, and because of the surrounding rain, it was more powerful. The Zubats hadn't been knocked out, but returned to the cave. The Crobat, however, was also hit. And, it was angry, to say the least.

"Ice Punch!" Cody suddenly demanded. The monkey glanced at it's trainer, then did as he was asked. His tail began glowing a blue shade, and he lept into the air. The Crobat was slowed down by the Shock Wave before, and didn't have time to move, as the punch hit it square in the chest. The purple bat was flung back by the sudden attack, and slammed into the cave wall. As it began flapping it's wings in movement again, it opened it's mouth. A black Haze slowly poured out, shrouding Silver. The Crobat dove towards Silver, using Poison Fang.

"Silver use Swift!" He wasn't about to be bested by a wild Pokemon. Out of the black haze, tiny golden stars began shooting everywhere. Then, like a homing missle, they all turned for the bat. Unable to escape the barrage in mid-dive, the Crobat was hit, and crashed into the ground.

----

"Some Crobat eh?" Cody question Silver, as they were flying back atop of Dream. Cody spun the white Premier ball on his finger. A short battle, but with some training, the Crobat could make a useful team member. From his place in the sky, Cody could see a battle unfolding on the beach. Ordering dream to do so, the Salamence landed a distance away from the battle, so that they could watch.

Chibi couldn't help but giggle as Daytime said that she was "filling Hammy with ideas." Hammy wasn't like that, she knew, but maybe she had to rethink that as she saw her Pachirisu casting concerned glances at the half-blind Lopunny.

Chibi sighed, it was always tough trying to get a first-Attracted pokemon back under control. She had the same problem with all of her other male pokemon. "Hammy," she said softly, kneeling down, "she is your enemy now okay?" A tiny whine. "Look, clear your head. Maybe you can talk with her after the battle." Another whine, Hammy didn't seem to sure, but said yes anyways.

"Okay, run over and use Iron Tail. Quietly." Hammy bunched his muscles and pelted off, looking sort of torn as he did so. His tail began to glow, not the bluish tint that it did when he used Thunderbolt, but a pure white. He leaped into the air and brought his tail around in a full swing.

Daytime was stressing out. Lala was pretty much imobalized and too focused on Hammy to do anything. He soon noticed Hammy was attacking again.

"Lala, please snap out of it! Use Dig!" Daytime yelled, hoping it'd get through to the Lopunny. Lala looked around as if she heard Daytime, but not well enough. "Lala, dig! Use dig quickly!" The blinded Lopunny finally heard the command and started digging into the sand, soon deep down in it.

Before Daytime could give a second command, Hammy's attack his the sand and Daytime realized something. "Wait, sand collapses easily..." When the sand in the air set after Hamy's attack, the hole Lala dug was gone. "Lala! Get under Hammy and fire an ice beam." The sounds of shifting sand could be heard all around the field, leaving Lala's location unknown.

"Hammy, you use Dig as well." Chibi commanded, not even having any plan with this one.

Hammy chirped and his white coat began to get stained with the tan-colored sand flying around his tiny paws. Within ten seconds only the spikes on his tail stood up from the sand. They soon disappeared. Now two sand-shifters could be heard in unison.

"Hammy..." Chibi said, always gambling her options. The second shifting stopped Arceus-konws-where. "Use Rest to restore the damage done." Physial and mental. She added silently.

The sound coming from Hammy stopped. And would be stopped for quite a while now. It would be to Lala's advantage.

Lala continued moving, and seemed to have gotten faster as Hammy went into the sand. Daytime grinned as he knew this was like falling into a trap. The sand covering what they were up to, and Hammy stopping in a clearly spotted out area were like a prize in disguise.

"Lala, follow him and use Drain Punch multiple times. For all that damage he restores I want you to take it, too!" Lala did as told, knowing it was the best thing to do if she wanted to win. The Drain Punches were surprisingly accurate, as if Lala knew exactly where Hammy was, like tuning in on his snoring. Eventually Lala finished draining and came up, practically gasping for air.

Daytime smiled and said, "Good work, Lala. He's bound to be down there for a while, so you keep your ears on him." Lala hummed a bit and waiting for Hammy to return.

OOC: I just found something out. Lopunny can't learn sing. XD

Kalseng wiped his eyes as he pulled away from Cody. The group of trainers soon dispersed, and Cody left to care for some business. Kalseng wasn't particularly interested in following anyone, nor was he interested in watching some battle. Kalseng was more interested in finding berries right now, berries that he would enjoy eating. It wouldn't take long to find sweet berries, or some sour ones. And if he was lucky, he could even find some bitterly-sweet-yet-somewhat-sour berries. Those were truly his favorite. Kalseng picked up his bag and slung it back over his shoulders before exiting the Pokemon Center.

Kalseng rounded a corner and walked a ways until he found an area which had a bunch of berry trees and bushes around, containing a wide variety of berries. Kalseng looked at each berry, examining it until he found a bush of Mago Berries. Kalseng smiled and pushed through the pink berries, looking for the curviest he could find. He found a few that curved twice at the end, and those were immediately examined and taken, as they were undoubtedly sweeter than your average berry. Kalseng rooted through the bush, and found one berry, one long berry in the middle. The end curved not once, not twice, not three times, but four times. The berry was long and healthy, the perfect example of a Mago berrry.

Kalseng plucked the berry, and looked at his collection. He had the super-Mago, and about six other berries. Kalseng smiled and reached into his bag, retrieving a square, plastic container. He placed the beries carefully inside, and pulled a marker from his pocket. He then wrote in big, black letters "MAGO" on the side. He could easily wash it off.

Kalseng replaced the container in his bag, and then pulled out another, in anticipation of the next berries.

---

Kalseng had done a hwole lot of work, and gathered about four containers full of berries. Now came the easy part. Kalseng sat on the grassy clearing, and pulled out his juicer and poffin maker. Kalseng had recently purchased these items in an attempt to learn about being a breeder. Sure, it was dificult, but it made everyone of his pokemon great in appearance and battle technique. It also cheered them up extraordinarily well.

Kalseng decided that he'd first make himself a bit of juicce, and tossed in a few berries, saving the amazing Mago berry he had found for later. The machine looked like a little, flat rectangular cube atop a small pan with a crank on the side of the prism. He put the berries in and twisted the crank on the side of the object. The berries were pressed and peeled and extracted or something crazy like that. Whatever this object did, it was amazing. Soon, out came a pulpy, sweet, slightly tangy juice that Kalseng loved. It was red in color, and was the perfect taste. Kalseng pulledf a notebook out from his backpack and wrote down his choices for berries.

A few hours of berry usage later...

Kalseng had a large amount of poffins and juice ready for his pokemon, and he had already placed the bottles and breads in his bag safely. Kalseng stood up, and realized how low down the sun was getting, and Kalseng spun around and headed for the pokemon center, happily content with his day.

Giselle and Jaylen came to the valley's wall and began to comb it in search of the exact location of Jayce's hiding place. Of course, the Reflector was a big help with it's radar because it was very dark.

"Ha!" said Giselle under her breath. She had caught up to Fachion and saw the Pokemon fly into an opening in the cliff not too far from them. Giselle had Jaylen pull up next to the opening of the cave so that she could get off his back.

"Thank you so much Jaylen." said Giselle as she took out his Pokeball. Jaylen had the familiar look of happiness whenever he helped Giselle in anything as he turned into red energy and allowed himself to be recalled into the Pokeball.

Giselle looked around to see Jayce and the base he had sat up for the night. She held up the Reflector.

"Hey, we meet again."

Buizel stood content in her attack, knocking the Graveler over in one blow. She readied herself for another attack, but the Swampert had dealt with the other one. Before Long, Buizel only stood there, watching her surrondings closely. She heard dashing footsteps around, and ones heading in her direction. She readied herself, in case it was another annyoing Rock-type Pokemon.

Turns out that it was Blade, one of Buizel's partners. The two quickly engaged in conversation, before turning to the trainer who stood close by. Blade was about to use Detect to sense for any other Pokemon around and creat a Defensive wall around him, when a loud explosion suddenly occurred. Both Blade and Buizel stood there, ready for any incoming attack.

From the ledge above, a group of Marowaks appeared. They were looking for a fight, to which both Blade and Buizel both accepted. They both felt confident, until they saw that there were about three dozen or so of them, all wanting to fight at once.

Both Buizel and Blade let the emergency signal go, and Blade even used Razor Wind to make sure Jet would see. Both Blade and Buizel knew that they would have to Protect the trainer behind them while he either escaped, or joined in on the fight.

--------

She kept moving, knowing that they were up to something. That explosion wasn't for nothing. They were after that Emerald Plate. And she had to stop them. Her Reflector hung off her belt, and a Raindow Pass as well. Her one green eye and one blue eye were hidden amongst her long hair.

She grabbed a ribbon out and tied her hair back. She liked her long hair, but it was troublesome at times. It was always in her face, but everyone who saw her always mentioned how nice her hair looked. Even though she almost always hides the true length of it somehow.

She paced herself Weavile. She kept moving towards the direction of the explosion, until she heard the obvious sounds of bones hitting each other. This was the one moment she took to notice her surroundings. It was raining. She wanted to go to the explosion, but she knew one thing they didn't the Emerald plate wasn't there. Regardless, she had to stop them.

Her blatant rush to the site was obvious when she slipped on the wet ground and fell down a couple of feet, right to where a Buizel and Absol were. And right by them was a Trainer, one with a Swampert. And those bones she heard, those were Marowak bone clubs.

She walked to the trainer to introduce herself. "Hi. my name is...," said the girl, before getting interrupted by a deflected Shock Wave attack. Right then, her eyes changed colour. From one green and one blue eye, they changed into two green eyes.

"Weavile!" shouted the girl as the Pokemon jumped down from the ledge above. "Golduck, you're up!" shouted the girl as she kicked the Pokeball out.

The two Pokemon, plus the Buizel and Absol were about to take on a group of three dozen or so Marowaks. And they looked angry.

"Weavile, use Swords Dance. Golduck, use Protect, to shield Weavile from harm," ordered the young girl. She sounded like she was serious.

--------

Jet saw a Charizard stop right in front of the opening. He instantly knew it was Giselle.

"Hey, we meet again," said Giselle.

"Yes, we meet again," responded Jet. "That was some battle down there against that Onix. That was very well done." Jet paused for a moment, while he let the comment sink in. As he paused, the ground began to shake, as if there was an explosion or earthquake had just happened.

Jet than spoke up again after both the trainers were shaken up. Jet had a concerned look on his face when he spoke to Giselle. "Look, this might not be the best idea as of right now, but we need to move. There's something wrong further down the valley. Can you help me investigate?" Jet paused to catch his breath. "Two of my Pokemon are down there right now, and it's not looking good. I've already got four emergency signals from them. I instructed them to use in case they ever get into trouble."

Jet reached for a Pokeball before continuing. "You can have a quick rest if you want to. I can also look at your Vaporeon. I think I might have something in my pack that might make her feel better. Otherwise, we'll be off," finished Jet, after that winded speech. Jet almost ran out of breath due to that.

Jet knew that he wouldn't be able to solve the problem that he got himself into. He needed all the help he could get. And he knew Giselle would be a big help to his problem, that is if she accepted.

"Oh come on..." Chibi whispered to herself as Hammy was still asleep. As long as he was, Lala could still use Drain Punch on him. "Hammy!" She shouted, "get that sand out of your ears and WAKE UP!!!!"

It was hard to tell whether Hammy heard her or Chibi just had extremely good timing, for seconds later, the shifting of sand began again. It sounded decently close to Chibi's feet too. He wasn't slow or anything, in fact, he sounded no better or worse.

"Hammy," Chibi said, taking a deep breath. I can NOT believe I am about to say this! She thought to herself, Vyala would suffocate from laughing so hard. "Use Sweet Kiss on Lala!"

"Vul!" Vyala barked, making hoarse rasps as laughter. She lost her balance and rolled on her back, gasping for air. Firestrike looked disbelieving and disgusted at the same time.

Hammy however, was gone. He had rushed forward and exploded out of the sand in front of Lala, giving her a peck on the cheek. He landed next to Lala and hopped a little ways away, looking satisfied.

"Hammy, Thunder Wave next." Chibi called, still giggling. Hammy charged up his fur once more...

"What the-?" Cody heard, and felt, an explosion. It sounded like it was coming from the valley. (Jet DID say he needed ALL The help he could get....)

It was a good thing for Cody, that he had made a a quick stop at the Center to heal and switch up before coming to the beach. He released Dream from her Ultra Ball once more, and ordered her to fly for the Ruin Valley. He carefully climbed on, not wanting to hurt hmself more, as Silver simply leaped on. The three quickly soared into the rain filled sky, and made way for the Valley.

From in the sky, Cody could see the where the explosion had happened, or at least, where he though it had, there was a large cloud of smoke rising up from it. It was soon followed by multiple Pokemon attacks, possibly to signal the trainer. Suddenly with the rain, there came lightning. It's forked path flashing through the sky, followed by thunder almost instantly. "Dream, beeline it to the explosion's source." Thunder continued storming the area, giving almost no sign of stopping.

As the group dove for the ground, Dream began to gain speed, threatning to crash. As a master flyer, however, she managed to land gently, at a cliff adjacent to the explosion. Looking across the chasm, Cody noticed a swarm of Marowak leaping down into the gap. He quickly put Dream back into her Ultraball, and pulled out a Lure Ball.

As he made his way down a path that lead into the chasm, Silver was ahead of Cody, in case he was to trip. When he was about halfway down, he tossed the Lure Ball agaisnt a wall of the cliff. It burst open, and the white matter within quickly took shape as a Poliwrath, Norris. The ball was caught by Cody who continued he was down, and Norris landed near a five Pokemon, and two Trainers. One was a girl, with long tied back hair, and the other a male with a Swampert. It took Cody a minute to gather what they were looking at, the same horde of Marowak that had been leaping down moments ago. Norris was ready to attack, but Cody decided to wait for one of the other trainers to decide what to do first.

Giselle waited until Jet finished his speech before she said anything. The rain was still falling outside but they were dry in the cave.

"Sure, I'd love to help, but yeah I would like to look at Lluvia first. I don't think she received heavy damage but she wouldn't be able to get into another battle without proper rest."

Giselle looked outside the cave to the valley once more. The Pokemon did seem more agitated than normal....

"Let's hurry so we can get out of here." she said to Jet. She wanted to help out in whatever way she could.

"That's great. But first, we're not walking in the rain. My Buizel loves the rain, so if it stops, she'll use Rain Dance again. And personally, I don't want to get soaked again. I've got one quick way of fixing that. A simple Teleport will bring us there," said Jet as he brought out a Pokeball and kicked it out.

Out came a Gardevoir, floating in mid-air. "Her name is Tripudium. She'll teleport us and all the stuff along," Jet stated. "But before we do that, turn on the Reflector's beacon. It will let us keep track of each other through the GPS incase we get separated. We need to keep in constant contact with each other."

"Now, let's take a look at Lluvia," responded Jet as he searched through his bag, looking for those herbs that were designed for Water Pokemon. They worked wonders since they were specifically mixed for one type of Pokemon, and they taste extraordinarily better than most herbal medicines.

Jet finally found the right herbs after searching through his fanny pack. He handed these to Giselle and said to Giselle, "Give these to Lluvia. This should make her feel better. We'll go from there." His hand held some aquamarine coloured herbs for Giselle to take.

When Daytime saw Hammy return to the surface he was both relieved and excited. Lala seemed pleased too that Hammy was ok. But Daytime got serious and said, "Lala, stay focused on Hammy and don't let him hit you." Lala nodded to the command.

When Daytime heard Chibi say, "Hammy, use Sweet Kiss on Lala!" Daytime couldn't resist falling over and laughing. He knew their Pokemon liked each other, but the thought of using it as a weapon was a hilarious idea. Daytime looked over at Lala, hoping she'd think to defend, but in reality, Lala was standing there, pointing her cheek toward Hammy who was coming toward her.

When the impact was made, Lala blushed and then snapped into a confusion. She looked around aimlessly, hoping to find a way out of it. Daytime got up and said, "I don't think this will last long." Daytime quickly pulled out a Yellow Flute and carefully blew into it. The soft and clear sound snapped Lala out of her confusion and she faced toward Hammy, excited and ready. "Good I snagged this flute out of my PC before I left. I almost forgot I even had it.

"Now, Lala, use Protect before Hammy's Thunder hits!" Lala did as told and the greenish blue shield formed around Lala, as she held her arms in front of herself in case it broke.

OOC: Sorry I took so long, Chibi. I didn't notice your post.

(It's Thunder WAVE. XD)

Chibi at the moment was too bent over double from laughing and actually had to sit down because she was laughing too hard. Daytime's reaction made it okay for her to laugh to; sometimes her crazy brain thought of things that were absurd and funny. Like this case.

Hammy's Thunder Wave shot out and passed harmlessly around the sheild, turning it a brief gold before fading away. Lala was now snapped out of her confusion, and ready to give Hammy another attack.

"Hammy," Chibi said, frustrated that her plan had not worked. "Try this-Hammy? What's wrong?" Her Electric pokemon seemed to be staring at something over Chibi's shoulder. She got up and turned around to see a dark sky in the distance. Either this island had a bunch of odd weather or trainers were obsessed with Rain Dance. Thunder rumbled in the distance.

"Quil?" Firestrike growled, cocking his head to one side.

"Hammy, its just a little rain," Chibi said, turning back around. "You've never been one to hate it." But Hammy's expression said otherwise. His black eyes were wide and shocked. His fur trembled with fear. Vyala rolled back onto her paws and growled lightly, her neck fur began to rise. Even the calm Firestrike arched his back and sprung the flames from his head and behind that only happened when he was ready to fight or intimidated. "Look," Chibi said, "we need to get back to the battle-" A much louder boom than the rest made the words die in her throat.

Chibi whirled around to face the bad weather. That most definetly not thunder. It was loud enough to be an explosion. Chances are it was. "I hope nobody's hurt," Chibi said quietly, "that's near the Dotted hole Ruins."

The Protect worked perfectly and Lala jumped around happily. Daytime was still laughing a bit from how silly the moment just was not too long ago, and enjoyed seeing it. But this happy moment didn't last long.

Daytime was facing the darkening sky and was shocked to see it. After giving it some though, Daytime mumbled, "The others...they're probably out there..." Not even thinking about the battle anymore, Daytime released Flygon and leaped onto his back. "Go straight to the bad weather, Flygon. Quickly!"

As Flygon started to take off, Daytime grabbed Lala's hand and had her ride behind him. "Sorry, Chibi! We're have to finish this battle later! I'm not sure why, but I feel they'll need my help out there!" Flygon then took off very quickly and flew straight for the ruins, worried something was going to go wrong, very very wrong.

"Right!" Chibi shouted, clipping off three pokeballs from her vest. "You two," she pointed them at Hammy and Firestrike, "in, now. Don't protest." The two pokemon were absorbed into red matter and the third pokeball, an Ultra Ball, was tossed into the air afterwards.

"Skydive!" Chibi shouted, leaping in unison with Vyala and landing on her Aerodactyl's back. "There! Ruins! Now!" Chibi pointed to the dark skies. Sensing the urgency in his owner's voice, Skydive for once didn't protest about always having to carry his owner somewhere and vaulted into the sky.

He looked like a long, oblong missile shooting through the air, then their ascent stopped abruptly from the Rock/Flying type snapping his purple wings open to their fullest extent and pelting off in their intended direction. He flapped his wings so hard that they almost came in contact with his sides and the trio were now going incredibly faster. One would think they were a meteor above Six Island. His wings snapped open again to prevent them from losing any altitude and they were soon flying side by side with Daytime's Flygon.

They must have been going pretty fast, for half a minute later, Chibi could feel the coldness of wet clothes again, and her long hair clung to her back. Skydive and Vyala put up mild protest, since they both dispised the rain, but Skydive kept going. The explosions kept getting louder, which meant they were getting closer. Suddenly, there was another explosion, right under them. "Skydive, down theerrreeeeee!!!!" Chibi yelled as Skydive folded his wings again and plummeted out of the air again. Once again, proving his namesake. Apparently, the commotion was being caused by a hoarde of angry Marowak attacking some trainers and pokemon. One looked like Burlane.

Chibi leaped off Skydive's back as he slowed down and shouted out her orders. "Skydive, use Ice Fang on those Marowak! Vyala, hit some of them with Confuse Ray!"

Skydive leapt forward, any rain near his mouth was frozen and his hacksaw-like teeth glinted with with frost around them. His jaws snapped shut on many of the Ground pokemon, knocking some of the weakest out. Another few began to get yellow lights swirling around their heads, each light had a black tail trailing behind it. The ones with these around their head began to wander around aimlessly in a daze.

"We thought you could use some help." Chibi shouted to Burlane.

Things were quickly blowing out of proportion. And to think it had simply started with a simple misunderstanding between a couple of Graveler and an exploring trainer with his Swampert. With the addition of a helpful but almost completely random Buizel, they had pretty much been taken care of. But almost immediately an explosion had well... exploded farther up the cliff face and three dozen Marowak had poured down cliffside looking very angry and disgruntled. Then trainers started to appear out of nowhere, seemingly attracted like moths to the flame to investigate the explosion. First a young woman had followed the Marowak down rather hastily and tried to introduce herself before throwing out a Golduck and Weavile to help pacify the crowd of rather angry Bone Keeper Pokemon. Then a young man had flown in on a Salamence and landed off to the side on the cliff. He had recalled his Dragon Pokemon and released what looked like a Poliwhirl or Poliwrath, Burlane couldn't quite tell through the rain, and he had an Aimpom with him. Yet another two had just arrived, one on top of a dive bombing Aerodactyl that turned into a flyby attack after she had leaped rather nimbly off its back with a Vulpix, and another trainer looked to be coming in riding a Flygon. That made the count five trainers and eleven pokemon, two of which were either well disciplined wild pokemon or their trainer wasn't present yet, versus a mob of 36 or so angry and disturbed Marowak.

Well... unless more people were on the way, which they more than likely were, considering the amount of trainers in the area, Burlane figured he might as well make the fighting a little more even and grabbed two pokeballs from under his poncho and quickly enlarged them and tossed them in front of him. As the white energy cleared Alysandra and Screech both looked in disgust at the crummy weather before looking back at their trainer expectantly.

"Okay guys, we need to try and affect as many of these guys as possible. Ali, jump up on Argent's head and repeat what you did last night, but pump as much power as you can into it?" At this point Ali slowly turned serious from her normal cheery demeanor as she realized what she was asked. She looked around at the amount of activity going on and gave an understanding "Lia" as she leapt atop Argent's head. "Screech, you need to blast as many as you can with Hyper Voice in a sweeping arc. But try and wait till after Ali" The compact purple pokemon gave a consenting grunt and turned to face the Marowaks and stood at the ready.

"Argent, I want you to throw Ali up as high as you can, she needs to be visible to as many of those Marowaks as possible." Argent bobbed his head in understanding as he braced himself, the small Kirlia holding tightly to his head fins with her eyes closed tightly as she focused her energy in what looked to be Calm Mind in preparation to carry out her trainer's orders. "And after you toss her, throw up a Protect around you and Screech so you aren't affected."

Burlane looked around and realized something. If Ali was going to be high enough in the air to affect all of the Marowak, then she would be high enough in the air to affect EVERYONE else too. He quickly shouted out before Argent could fling Ali up in the air. "If you can use Protect, I suggest you do it now! If not, close your eyes or look down!" Not knowing how well his voice carried through the rain, he hoped people got the message.

The Marowaks were starting to break up into little groups, each headed towards a different group of targets. A few Bonemerangs had been launched in their direction and Screech had a hard time knocking them out of the air using Ice Beam. It was now or never if they wanted to affect them all. "NOW!" Burlane shouted as he looked down and covered his eyes for good measure. Argent bent his head down all the way to the ground and then strained all his muscles as he flung his head straight up, sending the Kirlia high into the air. A Bonemerang got in and hit Screech just before Argent could get the Protect up, knocking the Loudred back into the Swampert.

As soon as she felt the upward motion, Alysandra let loose all the energy she had been concentrating into the horns atop her head. With a shout of "Kiirrrlllllliiiiiiiiiaaaaaaaaaa" a massive Flash erupted from the head of the Kirlia. It was so bright that it looked as if the entire body of the Pokemon was glowing with the bright white light. A random streak of lightning jumping between the clouds paled in comparison to how strong it was. The entire area was lit up as if thousands of flood lights were all of a sudden trained on this corner of the valley, almost throwing it into greyscale as it muted colors. Ali seemed to just float in place, a good 30 feet above the battleground, emitting the powerful light so that all would be affected. As the light faded from her head, the small Pokemon's body still glowed white. As she started to fall to the ground, her body elongated and her skirt billowed out into a long dress shape. Long dainty legs reached out as she gently landed behind Argent and Screech, using her Psychic powers to slow her descent. The newly evolved Gardevoir looked expectantly up into her trainer's eyes waiting to see if she did well.

Burlane was stunned, he hadn't expected an attack of that magnitude to come from his diminutive partner (especially considering it wasn't even a Psychic attack!), but was pleased nonetheless. He quickly hugged her and said, "I can't believe that was you! Good job, now let's see what we have to deal with." And with that they turned to observe the affects that Ali had wrought on the battlefield.

The Marowak had definitely been affected, more than half were stumbling around a little disoriented. There were a couple holes in the ground where it looked as if the ones who had known Dig used it to escape the negative affects of the light. But there were at least a dozen or so that had quickly recovered and were running at their targets, albeit in a slightly wavering path.

OOC: I realize this may affect people who are still inbound on their Pokemon and whatnot, but I couldn't help myself!

She heard the command from the trainer. She instantly yelled, "Golduck, expand the Protect to cover more of the area. Try to extend it as far as you can! Hold it until the Flash takes effect."

Golduck stretched it as far as he could, covering her and the area where a trainer and a Poilwrath was. Weavile right then finished the Swords Dance, and she proceeded to order the Weavile, "Once the Flash is over, use Ice Shard on any Marowak that pops up from below the ground."

Weavile waited until the Flash was over, and then struck quickly with Ice Shard and almost knocked out the Marowak. The Marowak had missed the brunt of the attack by using his club to deflect the move towards the side a little. Weavile then moved on, dashing about with Ice Shard before getting surrounded by about 4 Marowak.

At the instant, her green eyes took over, and her Pokemon understood what that meant. She was going al out, and her Pokemon knew that too.

Buizel and Blade also saw this, and quickly realized that it had to be someone close to Jet. They quickly upped their tempo and cried at the female trainer, wanting orders.

She looked directly into their eyes, and realized something. She thought to herself, 'They have to be Jet's Pokemon. Only Pokemon trained by me or him would know the green eyes look. And they instatnly knew. Jet is around. So my work has finally led me back to him.' She pulled out her Reflector, and turned on the beacon.

Then began to issue commands to Buizel and Blade. "Buizel, Aqua Jet around and hit them from their blind spots. Absol, use Water Pulse to propel Buizel further," ordered the girl.

'They won't be enough. I need another Pokemon. And it'll have to be her,' she thought as she began to kick out a Pokeball.' "Matris, use Psychic to manipulate the Protect being formed by Golduck. Golduck, Protect Absol, yourself and everyone around us. Once Golduck gets tired, switch roles with each other. Keep doing it back and forth until I say to stop," ordered the girl. The Bug Pokemon and Golduck did as they were told and kept changing roles every so often.

She thought to herself, 'Jet, you better show up with Fachion. I haven't seen Fachion since I left that long ago. That and my Pokemon won't last long with the high tempo style we both use. We'll have to make this quick, otherwise we'll lose the trail of that group. And they're after it, I know it.'

She looked up and saw the there was a person wearing a style of clothes that represent Umbreon. She knew who it was instantly. 'So, he's back finally. I need to give back his pass, plus a little thank-you gift for it. I've got another one now, due to working for that agency. I was going to return it, but he wasn't to be found when I got back, but his clothes are the same. It has to be him,' thought the girl.

Her mind returned to the battle after Weavile got hit a couple of times and was looking exahusted, due to the high energy output he had to use to perform all of the fast moves. 'I need Wish...but no one has it. And I'm out of items. Oh well...'

"Weavile, push through back towards where we are with Revenge!" shouter the girl. "Once you get inside the Protect bubble, focus and plot something. Something nasty."

She readied another Pokeball...and kept it in hand until more of the trainers began their counter-attacks. Her green eyes were ablaze. Her eyes were changing colour again. Orange eyes now. She was serious now, dealy serious. It was a winner takes all and you lose you die situation.

'Jet would be surprised to see me at this state now, with orange eyes,' thought the girl.

OOC: Changed the last bit of the post a little.

"What? Why?" Chibi asked as Burlane shouted out for them to either use Protect or cover their eyes. Sounded like Flash. She swooped down and snatched Vyala up like a Pidgeot and held the fox pokemon close to her chest, covering her eyes with her arms. As Chibi was about to shut her eyes, the entire place around her was engulfed in darkness, and she didn't have to. Skydive had apparently knew what was to come, and instead of flying down for another attack, flew over and spread his body and wings around his trainer, shielding her body from the attack.

Chibi could see a bright glow behind Skydive's back, and had to look away with spots popping in her vision. When it was done, the effect was immediate. Chibi let go of Vyala and ducked under Skydive's wing to see many Marowak stumbling around in confusion, a few holes in the ground were evidence of the Dig attack. The other Marowak had either recovered or by some chance of luck, did not get hit and were resuming their attack.

Chibi could have brought all of the Marowak out of the ground by commanding Skydive to use Earthquake, but that could hit the others as well, and the wet ground from the rain made the chances of disaster double. "Skydive," she said, "hit the underground Marowak with Rock Tomb!"

Skydive growled and flashed what may have been a smile and took to the air again. He stayed a few feet above the ground and suddenly slammed his wingtips into the ground. The shock waves spread out from them caused rocks to explode from the ground like pillars of death. The rocks were all grouped in threes and fours, with Marowaks being trapped at the center, whenever one tried to escape, the rocks got a mind of their own and twisted around and closed until it was trapped again.

"Now, hit some of them with Dragon Pulse!" Chibi shouted. Skydive gained a little altitude before begining to grow an angry red. It surrounded him like a blue aura surrounds a Lucario and he charged forward. He slammed into the nearest rock prison without even slowing down and unleashed the power built up inside of him. The rocks exploded and propelled Marowaks into the nearby landscape. They did not come back.

There was a cry next to Chibi and she turned to see Vyala fly through the air after being hit by a Bonemerang and land on her paws. It didn't hurt her majorly, but it still infuriated Chibi. "Vyala!" She yelled, "Payback combined with Flamethrower!" Vyala fluffled up her fur and spat out a huge cone of flame from her mouth. The Marowak became invisble behind the wall of fire, and was invisible for eight long seconds before Vyala withdrew the super-powered Flamethrower. The Marowak was covered in back burns and fell flat on its back and fainted.

It was always fun when Payback was used.

The Last of the Snowmen

A terrific rumbling woke Sem from his sleep. The walls rattled and he could hear pictures and shelves falling in other rooms and the hallways, as well as the panicked shouts of the people within the center. He quickly rubbed the sleep from his eyes and sat up silently as the rumbling faded.

"That's the problem when too many trainers meet up; stuff explodes." Sem murmured as he stood up and slipped his shoes onto his feet. He noticed that Sableye was perfectly still, which he only knew because of the large glistening orbs that were his eyes were unmoving; otherwise the Ghost-type blended perfectly with the dark room. "Think we should check it out, Sableye?" Sem asked. His answer was Sableye floating up and landing on his shoulder. "Then let's go."

Sem walked briskly towards the window and through it and he was immediately pelted with rain. He smiled as he pulled his hood over his head. He took out Foul's pokéball and threw it up into the air. The fearow cawed and glided down and landing on the ground with his wings outstretched.

"Let's try it a different way this time…" Sem said as he carefully sat himself between Foul's massive wings. "Alright, my guess would be that the explosion was in the valley, so let's go." And with that and a few flaps of his wings, Foul hoisted them up into the air, above the dim lights of the small town and flew off towards the Dotted Hole, using his keen eyesight to see through the rain and shadow.

Within a couple of minutes they were soaring above a battlefield, there was some sort of pokémon that shone like a beacon, lighting up the area. Many trainers were battling against what seemed to be an incredibly large amount of marowak at the center of it all.

Foul dove to an un-occupied area of the perimeter the trainers had formed and then extended his wings so that they fell gently. Sem returned Foul and fell the rest of the few feet to the slushy ground.

"Keep an eye out, Sableye." Sem asked as he rummaged through his messenger bag. "It's practically like sun's shining for you right now…" Sem was silent as he picked through his bag more. "Here they are." Sem said as he pulled out a pair of goggles from the bag. He removed his hood, slipped them over his eyes, and then raised his hood again. Pushing a button on the side of the goggles they came to life with a green light. "Knew these night vision goggles would come in handy eventually."

Sem had put them on just in time to see Sableye lash out at a marowak with a Shadow Claw, driving it back. "That's better." He said as he looked around him at all the other trainers, there were quite a lot of them, many of whom he recognized from the Center earlier that day.

A small group of the ground-types had come up the hill towards Sem and Sableye. Sem snapped his jaws and flexed his fingers.

"Shadow Sneak." Sem said.

And with that Sableye melded into the shadows of night, confusing the marowak. As they looked frantically around them for their enemy he took them out one by one from the shadows, dashing this way and that at an incredible speed for a sableye. Within moments only one was left, the others were either on the ground or retreating back.

"Ice Punch!"

Sableye appeared out of thin air in front of the bone-wielder, fist frozen with cyrokinetic power. With a solid punch to the side of the head the marowak was sent spiraling back.

Cracking was heard as the ice fell off of Sableye hand as he opened and closed his claws. With a cackle he jumped back to where Sem stood.

"Good job." The boy said as he scanned the area. "There are far too many…" Sem thought to himself as he saw the trainers struggling against the sheer number of them. "We'll need some decent fire-power if we're going to get rid of them all." He said as he pulled out another pokéball, a dive ball. He tossed it before him, releasing an almost liquid like energy onto the muddy ground.

The pokémon left was purple in color, though you could not tell in the dark. It was a star-shape, with ten points and a shining core that, much to Sableye's dislike, out-did all of his gems put together. The starmie sighed as it felt the cool rain on its body.

"Let's slip them up, Starmie." Sem said with a smile.

Starmie sighed again in response, understanding what Sem meant. Its core began to shine an icy-blue before firing lightning-like tendrils of frozen power at the center of the marowak mob. It did not need eyes to see where to fire, since Starmie used its powerful mind to see around it.

The Ice Beam hit the ground and upon contact a sheet of ice began to spread out at a rapid rate, consuming a great radius of land, all due to the rain soaked terrain. The desired effect of the attack was gained as Sem saw all the marowak struggle to keep balance. "That'll give us a few moments to figure out a plan…"

Once Daytime had reached this catastrophe, he flew around trying to get a good idea of what was going on. He could tell there was many angry Marowak attacking the many trainers down by the ruins. Daytime noticed Chibi in a good condition, as well as Cody and many other trainers he had seen back at the Pokemon Center hours ago. But something Daytime didn't expect to see was the fierce fighter he had met back when he would travel, the same person who stole his Rainbow Pass years ago.

Ignoring his chance to get revenge on the worst thing to ever happen to him, Daytime flew up into the clouds and told Flygon to stay in the clouds. "Quickly, Flygon, use Protect. Lala, jump up high and used Blizzard. Make sure to catch her, Flygon."

With these quick witted commands, Flygon protected itself as Lala bounced up high in the air and began to summon up a furious Blizzard. The snow and hail mixed in with the rain and caused the down pour to weaken the Marowak even greater than before. Daytime's plan was working well, until Flygon's protect started to ware off. Before it wore off, Daytime released Sealeo, leaped onto its back, and returned Flygon. Merely seconds later Daytime realized he was in the sky, and started to fall, holding onto Sealeo and Lala for dear life.

Sealeo realized the situation and aimed its body toward the ground, in the center of the raging Marowak. When he impacted with the ground, Sealeo took about half the damage it could ever take. Daytime noticed this and said, "Good work, Sealeo. Lala, if any of the Marowak get near us, use Ice Beam on them. Sealeo, use Brine!"

Lala fired Ice Beams at the many Marowak behind Daytime and Sealeo, while Sealeo fired his brine straight into the larger part of the mob of Marowak. Daytime looked around as his Pokemon kept their position of knocking out the Marowak, and noticed he wasn't too far from the girl who took his Rainbow Pass. He looked over at her, making sure the Marowak weren't too much for anyone.

"Thanks a lot!" Giselle said to Jayce. She took the herbs from him and pulled out Lluvia's Ball capsuled Pokeball. "Come on out Lluvia!"

Out of the usual stream of bubbles and white confetti came the Vaporeon. She still looked pleased with herself after that hard battle, but Giselle could tell that she was still very tired from.

"All right, Lluvia," Giselle knelt down next to her Pokemon. "Eat this; it'll make you feel better."

Like she always did with unknown foods, Lluvia sniffed the herbs in Giselle's hands before she took a nibble.

"Vapor...Vaporeon!" Lluvia said in approval. She ate all of the herbs in Giselle's hands, gaining strength after every mouthful she ate. A couple of minutes after finishing, she seemed like she was ready for whatever came there way in the rain soaked Ruin Valley. Lluvia gave Giselle her cute face.

"Well Jayce," said Giselle getting on her feet again. "I think we're ready to move out!" This would be her second time teleporting with a Gardevoir.

"Very good then, We're off then," responded Jayce.

"Tripudium, Teleport to Buizel's approximate location. We don't want to have our gear destroyed. Teleport the stuff and us to a safe location, the we'll teleport ourselves there after we drop the gear, alright?"

'But of course Jet,' responded the Gardevoir telepathically.

And in a flash of light, Giselle, Jet and all the stuff there was teleported away, to a safe location close to the site. The stuff and the two trainers appeared in another cave. It was nice and cozy. Gardevoir looked a little tired, but was ready to Teleport once again.

After a quick pause, Tripudium teleported them to the location, right beside the young girl with orange eyes.

"We're here now, let's counter attack on them," shouted Jet. 'I better look for Buizel and Blade.'

"Giselle, if I'm right, there should be some Pokemon attacking right now, due to that large explosion from earlier. They'll be thinking that we caused it. Knock the Pokemon out and then we'll move on and deal with I had originally planned on doing," explained Jet.

After saying his thing, he noticed that almost everyone he met earlier was here. Daytime, Cody, among others. But to Jet's surprise, Buizel and Absol were taking orders from someone else. A young girl. He walked up to her and asked, "Who are..." Before he could finish, the girl turned her head to see who was talking to her. He saw green-orange eyes and he instantly knew who it was.

"Is it really you...?" stammered Jet with some nervousness in his voice.

"You know it Jet," responded the girl. "I haven't seen you or Fachion for a long time. Last time was after I left home."

"Sophia, it really is you. I haven't seen you in such a long time," Jet said, as he was filled with tears of joy and came to hug her. He looked up at her eyes, and noticed they were orange, instead of the usual green. He asked quickly, "Since when have your eyes been able to turn into orange, instead of green?"

"It'll have to wait, Jet. You're crushing me with that hug of yours. And yes, I missed you a lot too," responded Sophia. "I'll explain later. We have a battle right now. And this will probably make you happy." Sophia undid the ribbon in her hair and let it drop down, making Jet give off more tears of joy.

"Thank-you, sister," responded Jet. Jet then regained his composure. His eyes then changed colour right then, instead of the usual green, it was green with orange streaks in it now.

"Fachion! Heat Wave!" ordered Jet as he kicked out the Pokeball. Fachion flew out of the Pokeball, and used Heat Wave. It created a huge steam cloud.

"Follow up with Brave Bird and take them out!" was Jet's next command. Fachion instantly knew that Jet almost never asked him to use the attack. He knew Jet saved it for only important situations. Fachion dove downward at top speed, and then leveled off at the ground and took out about four or so of the Pokemon that were attacking.

Jet saw another one trying to run away, and quickly ordered, "Fachion, Pursuit in that direction, and take it out!" Fachion pursued it and took it out...but another Marowak was attacking Fachion from above when an Ice Beam stuck the Marowak, knocking it out cold.

Jet turned to his side a little to see a Weavile, finishing an Ice Beam attack.

"I've got you covered Jet!" yelled Sophia to Jet. "I'm not a pushover like last time." And with that, their Pokemon pushed on, and kept attacking the Marowak non stop.

Chibi and Vyala both gasped as a huge steam cloud engulfed them both. "Eeyyy, what da heck?" Chibi shouted, her voice coming to an odd accent whenever she was annoyed. Feeling her way around, she tripped over Vyala and fell out of the steam cloud. Quick reflexes caused her hands to shoot out and stop her fall.

Standing up as if the fall was all planned out, Chibi looked and saw the man from the Pokemon Center ordering a shiny Swellow to attack some of the Marowak. Besides him was a girl that had come earlier in the battle. Chibi noticed that both of them had orange-green eyes. How strange, she thought before noticing a lone Marowak sneaking up on Daytime's Lopunny.

"Vyala, Quick Attack!" Vyala bunched up her muscles and shot forward at an eye-popping speed. She rammed her head into the Marowak's stomach before it could say "Maro?" It rolled back and gave the Vulpix an angry glare. "Howl." Chibi commanded agin. Vyala tossed her head back and let out a long, chilling note. The Marowak raised its bone. "Dark Pulse." Vyala began to glow a dark purple aura, her eyes became a chilling red. She leapt forward and bit the Marowak's arm, releasing the dark energy into the Marowak's body, throwing it backwards. Before she could finish it off though, a Dragon Pulse from Skydive sent it flying into the sky.

"We might just win this." Chibi said to herself.

So, they were taking out all these Marowak, thought Giselle. Lluvia was at her side taking in her surroundings with a bright interest. Giselle looked around and saw Daytime among some other trainers. The ground around them was a soupy, muddy mess from the rain and from all the battling. Jayce was a bit preoccupied with his sister Sophia who had very similar eyes to Jayce. Giselle was sure this was a nice little reunion for them, but she had bigger problems on her hands. Jet's Swellow Fachion had created a steam cloud in the valley and Giselle was finding it difficult to see anything. As a result, Giselle didn't see the two Marowak that had converged and attacked Lluvia--however she was able to dodge as she had no trouble seeing.

"That ability to control water really comes in handy doesn't it, Lluvia?" Giselle said wryly. She was going to go with Jet's plan and attack.

"Vapor," she said happily. Even so, she still could have a lot of trouble battling two at once, but hey, they could certainly try. Barely visible, the two Marowak had come back to take another shot. But Giselle thought fast.

"Let's do a long range attack! Lluvia, use Water Pulse!" Giselle's first choice was to use Surf but she was afraid of hitting the Pokemon of other trainers especially since she saw someone with a Vulpix--a fire type. They already had enough problems on their hands.

Lluvia opened her mouth wide and fired rings of water and sonic energy. She managed to hit one of the Marowak who hadn't expected the attack to come so fast. The Marowak fell to the ground and was looking a bit cross-eyed as it tried to stand up. The other Marowak was still ready to fight though, so Giselle called out some reinforcement.

"Come on out, Alano!" said Giselle as she released the Sneasel from his Pokeball. With his Keen Eye ability, hardly anything could affect his eyesight. "Use Shadow Claw on the Marowak!"

A wickedly delighted look crossed Alano's face as his claws became engulfed in ghostly energy. He lunged at the Marowak with an almost graceful savagery as he slashed it across the chest. The attack had done its trick and the Marowak fell and did not rise again. Giselle, Lluvia, and Alano then peered around at the battle site, looking for someone who might need help.

It was sheer chaos. The weather was changing, and it was hard to make much of anything out. Cody could tell, however, that nearly every trainer on the island must have been there. Most of the Marowak still stood, alsmot begging to be take out.

"Norris!" Cody called over the calls and cries of the others, "Mind Reader, then Hydro Pump! Aim for two!" The Tadpole Pokemon ran forward, emmiting a faint psychic energy. He closed his eyes, and focused on the energy of the bone wielders. When he opened them back up, his mouth opened wide. In a mighty lunge, his pressure water shot out, propelled by Norris' own energy. The high powered water shot quick at the canyon wall. For a moment, it seemed the attack had missed. The instant before it hit the wall though, two Marowak leapt into it. Norris had read the movement correctly.

"Good job, make sure they're down with Focus Blast!" Cody called out once more, the Pokemon once again began storing energy. This time, focused in his hands. With a suitable "Hyaa!" A ball of pure energy shot out from them. It was blue and white in color, and rapidly rotating. It slammed into the first two Marowak, and carried them up agaist the canyon wall. The two fell limp to the ground, not able to carry on the fight any longer.

Cody reached into the back pocket of his backpack, and pulled out two Level Balls. Their orange-gold color contrasted with the weather, but nonetheless, Cody tossed them for the two Marowak. When the two balls had finished wobbling, Norris grabbed them, and tossed them back at Cody.

"Silver, use Ice Punch on that one!" Cody was pointing to yet another Marowak, with each one down, a dozen seemed to take its place. Of course, the weather and situation was disoreintating enough, Cody was probably just getting tired.

The tiny purple monkey leaped through the air, and bounced off the wall gaining speed. His tail began to glow a faint blue color, and the rain droplets around hiim froze to ice, shattering as they hit the ground. Do a flip in the air, the ice-powered tail slammed into the Marowak.

"We can't keep this up forever..." Cody mumbled, "But I suppose we have to!"

Pearl perked up as she sensed the commotion coming from afar. Even though the battle with the Onix was over, it still seemed as if there were some Pokemon who weren't willing to live in the rainy season, and the mob of rock types seemed to be battling a small group of people. Even so, the place where the fighting was was a bit far, and Pearl didn't think it would bother Christine much. No use in letting her trainer get all worked up on something that probably wouldn't have concerned her.

Then, it seemed as if the air around them shook, and Pearl knew that something was definetly wrong now. Explosions don't just suddenly happen, and whatever had caused this one had to be something major. The girl still seemed unaware of what was going on, though, so it proved to Pearl that humans really were either unaware of anything that happened around them, or had such horrid senses that they couldn't even feel a blade of grass landing on their head. The Grumpig tugged on her trainer's shirt as hard as she could, and nearly made Christine fall over.

"Hey, watch it, Pearl!" the girl exclaimed as she turned around to face her Pokemon. Then, seeing the look of concern on the Grumpig's face, she asked in a gentler tone, "What's the matter?"

Pearl pointed to a place out east where the noise had occured. The place she pointed to looked tranquil at that moment, and when Christine raised an eyebrow in confusion, Pearl sighed and resorted to telepathy, which she never used unless in great need. Okay, so I know you humans don't have as good senses as us Pokemon do, so it may surprise you that I felt some sort of explosion that seemed to have originated somewhere over there.

"And you're sure about that?" Christine inquired.

Pearl snorted in annoyance. Of course I'm sure, or else why would I be talking to you in this manner? Look, we don't have much time to stand around here, so get Vivace out and fly over there. I would be teleporting if I could, but...

Christine rolled her eyes and returned the Grumpig back to her Pokeball as she let out her Altaria again. Turning to the Pokemon, Christine gave a quick explination of what Pearl had just told her. When Altaria nodded in agreement, Christine climbed on the Pokemon's back. "M'kay, so it's somewhere to the east, Vivace, and Pearl didn't tell me any more than that, so I guess we just continue down that way and see what we hit..."

Suddenly, the Altaria stopped flying, making Christine glance down to see what his reason for stopping was. There, down below, was a large group of Marowaks and four trainers, two of which she had seen before. One was the trainer who had defeated that Onix from before, and the other was an onlooker who had seen the other trainer's battle, like Christine. The other two were boys whom Christine had never seen before, but that didn't bother her much. As long as they were fighting for the same cause, then they would be an ally here. Christine reached for her Dive Ball and released Liquidite, her Lanturn. "Let's help these people here with the Marowak trouble. Right, let's start off with a Bubblebeam, and Vivace, use Perish Song to get rid of these Marowak as quickly as you can. And I know that's a huge risk, but I'm hoping the other trainers are smart enough to switch Pokemon by then. Alright?" The two Pokemon nodded. "Well, then let's go!"

The cold rain managed to beat down on Kalseng's face as Honchkrow sped them to their destination. It hadn't taken long before Kalseng had snapped into battle mode. His mindset had altered, but not his personality. He had started to tame that side of himself, and Kalseng felt his cape pull at his neck. He quickly tired of the cape, how it annoyingly fluttered wherever he walked, how it stood out and drew strange looks. Kalseng rose his hand to the clasp, while keeps a hold of the Honchkrow's neck. He snapped the thing undone, and it flew offf towards the forest. Kalseng's hat fluttered off as well, the green tones soon fading darker with the rain.

He sat lower to the bird, his eyes narrowing to peer through the rain. Soon, a battlefield came into view. A crowd of 30-odd marrowak battling at least 4 trainers. Kalseng smiled, and cleared his throat. "Honchkrow! To the skies!" He commanded. His pokemon suddenly veered upwards, the rain leaving painful, read marks on his skin. The pokemon then flared out its wings and stopped, cawing loudly, attracting the attention of several marrowak. Kalseng tossed a ball in the air, and it split open, revealing a foretress.

Kalseng smiled, and then pointed at the pokemon. "Foretress! I want you to use Rock Polish, then build up a Earthquake beneath your shell!" Kalseng tried to keep his voice loud and clear through the rain, but it proved dificult. the pokemon then clamped itself shut as its body gleamed brightly, its surface smoothing out. The pokemon then charged up brilliantly, small tremors shaking the pokemon. Kalseng turned to the bird he sat atop. "Now! Honchkrow! I want you to use Dark Pulse on Foretress when she gets to the ground!" Kalseng turned back to the flying steel/bug type. "When you get to the ground, use Rapid Spin immediately, and use your built-up Earthquake!" Kalseng wasn't sure if the pokemon heard him, but she still sank to the ground. The second she touched down, Kalseng shouted. "Dark Pulse!" His Honchkrow blasted a terrible, circular ray of black energy onto the pokemon bellow. It began spinning rappidly, and it opened its shell as the Dark Pulse hit. The timing was perfect.

And earthquake tore open the ground, and a dark pulse spun about the pokemon, until it burst from the fissures and cracks in the ground that the earthquake had created. Many marrowak were taken by the attack, and at least 10 were flung into the air. The others were either pushed so hard that they flew backwards or were knocked unconscious and simply pushed over on the ground.

As the Marrowak rised high, Kalseng quickly shouted commands at his Honchkrow. "Sucker Punch on anyone still conscious! Then I want you to dive me down to the battlefield, around where foretress is!" Honchkrow let out a caw of understanding, and shot at the Marrowak, the scenary whipping by Kalseng as the creatures were stricken. one by one, the ten Marrowak were knocked out and sent plummeting to the ground. Soon the Honchkrow was dropping quickly to the ground, the raindrops barely even keeping up.

Kalseng dismounted a few feet before they got to the ground, and saw a poor marrowak who had gotten the blunt of the Dark Pulse. it was a sadistic attack, and had the effect of messing with the minds of whomever it touched. Kalseng felt the poor thing needed help, but that was for later. He hoisted the thing up, grunting at the wait, and promptly tossed aside. The marrowak didn't go too far, but it did get out of the way.

Kalseng felt no remorse, looking over the battlefield. They weren't dead. In fact, at least two dozen were still trying to fight. Only one, maybe two were scarred or injured for life. And then Kalseng saw the marrowak that had hit the ground after being smacked around in the air.

Well, maybe a FEW more were injured than he thought.

"Damn, Kal, you'r still psychotic." Cody mumbled at his friend. Out of nowhere, he shot down from the sky commanding a Honhcrow and Foretress.

"Not quite as crazy as when you're with that Haunter...." He sighed, realizing that another trainer had commanded her Pokemon to use Perish Song. "Norris, return" Cody said, holding the (Net I think) ball up. The fighting Tadpole was quickly drawn back into the sphere, and securley placed back in his backpack.

"It's a good thing you had just used Uproar eh Silver?" Cody grinned through the pouring rain. It had soaked his hair, making it appear brown, instead of blonde.

"Agility, then Focus Punch!" As Cody called this, a boom of thunder resounded around the canyon. This battle was quickly becoming epic.

Silver began using Agility, weaving his way around the mob of Marowak still standing. Dashing in between a particuraly confused pair, Silver managed to get the two to club each other.

"Now, into the air!" The monkey leaped into the air, rain beating down around it. (Prepare for Epic Monkey) As his tail rose, gaining energy, a fork of lightning flashed across the sky above him. As the roar of thunder followed, Silver dove for the ground, aiming for one of the Marowaks that looked untouched from the battle thus far. The glowing fist slammed into the Pokemon's chin as an uppercut, sending the poor Bone Keeper hurteling into the sky. At the peak of his flail, he began to fall, quickly gaining speed. The Pokemon slammed into the ground, too weary to fight.

"That was kinda cool..." Cody sighed, as Silver returned to his Shoulder.

Kalseng took in Cody's kind comments, but they weren't what Cody needed. He needed a power slugger RIGHT THEN. he couldn't bring out his Haunter. He was reserved for tournaments and pressed situations. This was not nearly as bad as fighting back icebergs. That was tough. Kalseng decided that he could deal without revealing any more of his pokemon choices. Although, he couldd try out that kick ass new move he'd been thinking about. It was risky, but it could litterally obliterate the oposing force. He smiled, and turned to the other trainers.

"Please!" He shouted. "If you have safegaurd, use it first! If you can possibly follow it up with a protect, it is HIGHLY recommended you do that!" Kalseng didn't like bossing others around, so he picked kinder, gentler words. He then turned to his pokemon. This had better work, or the entire battle was over. "Now! Honchkrow flash!" The pokemon used a birlliant flash, and kalseng shielded his eyes. he ujmped atop the pokemon, careful not to damage himself. "Foretress! Solar Beam AND Rapid Spin! Now!" He commanded. The pokemon oblidged, and the flash attack quickly filled the solar attack. Kalseng smiled, and his Honchkrow flew in the air, careful not to let its owner be hit by the massive attack.

foretress spun furiously, and tore out a Solar Beam. The atttack ripped through the ground pokemon, but a few were smart, and took to using a bounce attack. Kalseng worried, but as soon as that started, his foretress messed up. "Shit." Kalseng swore, possibly the first time. Foretress had hit a large rock, and was now spinning madly, a Solar Beam piercing the sky aimlessly, tearing through clouds, almost looking like a silver strobe light in the mix of battle. Only one, maybe two marrowak were actually hit by the attack while in the air, but their numbers were easily torn down. There might have been 8 left. Kalseng had really torn up the battlefield, but more pressing was the scrambled beam heading towards the trainers.

"Protect!" Kalseng called. But before his Honchkrow could throw up any form of barrier, his right arm was nicked by the edge of the solar beam, his flesh seared. Kalseng gritted his teeth and boar through the pain, and the barrier soon went up. "Please, don't let anyone be hurt..." Kalseng muttered.

The Last of the Snowmen

The fighting was fierce as the marowak continued their self-justified attack against the humans and their pokémon companions.

Sem was able to hold his own fairly well, always driving back whatever force charged at him. He offered support to whoever else needed it but other trainers seemed to also be fairly well off on their own.

"Bubblebeam!" Sem said as he pointed at an incoming marowak, bone club raised high. Starmie shot out a burst of highly pressurized bubbles of water that burst upon impact with the Ground-type.

"Great," Sem nodded as he looked around. There were still too many; time for an idea. "Starmie, Recover; Sableye, Calm Mind."

Starmie replied with a 'hoh' like sound and was still, slowly the bruises and injuries from battle faded away, no longer existent. Sableye sat cross legged on the wet ground, being still and silent.

Starmie protected the immobile Ghost/Dark-type from any enemies that drew near. Using various water and psychic attacks.

After several long moments passed Sem noticed a glint in Sableye's eyes as he looked up and rose to his feet, looking up at his trainer for the next instructions.

"Good, now Starmie, use Psych Up." Sem continued.

Starmie spun on a single limb and faced the powered up sableye, core shining with psychic power. Sableye was still as psychic strands gently touched him, giving the Water-type the power he had just achieved.

There was a terrific shaking that racked the valley as a foretress unleashed a powerful Earthquake attack, followed by quick and powerful maneuvers by a honchkrow, about 2/3rds of the marowak were left standing.

"Well that makes things easier," Sem murmured to himself as he turned back to watch the progress of Psych Up, though he was dismayed to see the ruin to the valley caused by the Earthquake. "Heh, Ruin Valley, go figure." he said sarcastically. No one would hear him, there was little anyone would hear over the roar of the battle as beings raged against each other with the very earth crying out in protest.

As Starmie was about to finish there was an awful blinding light, and that's all Sem was able to take note of before next thing he knew they were laid siege by an out of control Solar Beam, acting like a beacon for miles as solar energy tore at the world around it; cutting clouds in half and ripping up the already damaged ecosystem.

Sem has little time to think as he saw the grass attack come straight towards him, or, Starmie rather.

"MOVE!" Sem yelled at his starmie, who was gaining the last vestiges of power from Sableye. Before Sem could do anything, Sableye severed the connection between he and Starmie. The tiny gremlin-like pokémon pushed the large starfish out of the way, taking the hit from the Solarbeam.

Sem watched in shock as Sableye was sent rocketing through the air and into the stone face of the cliff. He sprinted to the site of the impact and looked down at his friend who was breathing weakly, though he still had a devilish grin on his tiny purple face. Sem smiled briefly before pulling out Sableye's dusk ball, allowing the creature to be absorbed by the gentle shadows of the ball, safe within the device's abyss.

Sem stood up and glared over towards the battlefield, which now resembled ground zero. He walked over to where Starmie was, who was standing vigil, though it was not attacked apparently. He found the source of the rogue Solar Beam to be the same foretress from before, which seemed to belong to that crying-kid from earlier that day. The destructive attack had apparently ceased.

Sem's blind eye twitched. "HEY, YOU!" Sem yelled to the trainer with the honchkrow and the foretress; it was the loudest he had raised his voice in a long time. "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING USING AN ATTACK YOU CAN'T EVEN CONTROL?" he shouted as loud as he was able. "YOU CAN'T JUST PLAY HERO AND HOPE TO SAVE THE DAY WITH A POWERFUL ATTACK! LOOK AT THE VALLEY! WE'RE TRYING TO SIMPLY DEFEAT AND CALM THE MAROWAK, NOT DESTROY THEIR HOME!" Sem admitted to himself that he was angry; a rare occurrence, but he felt he had every right to be.

"Let's finished this now, Starmie." Sem said in almost a whisper as he gazed at Starmie's pulsing core. "Grass Knot."

And with that the Starmie moaned as it mustered its own power as well as the power it just gained from the now fallen Sableye and unleashed the attack. The soil stirred as roots and grass grew up out of the ground, propelled by Starmie's ability to psychically control the water in the plants themselves, bending them to its will. Small shrubs and bushes were caught up in the attack as one by one the marowak were entwined by the Grass-move, unable to do anything about it. There limbs were held in place and their clubs removed from their resistant grasps. Within moments all the marowak were incapacitated, unable to move but an inch. Starmie moaned again as the power left it, as if it were about to shatter into a million pieces. It then stood limp, core flashing rapidly, a sign that it was terribly weak.

"Thanks, friend." Sem said as he returned his beloved starmie.

Lala and Sealeo only had taken out five Marowak when someone's Pokemon, that Daytime didn't see, had used Grass Knot on all the Marowak. Daytime took this chance to return Lala and Sealeo and let out Flygon. Daytime got Sealeo into his ball, but Lala ran off when Daytime was about to return it. He saw she was heading toward Chibi and decided to let Chibi deal with her, since it'd be better than keeping her away from Hammy any longer.

Since he didn't want to stay too far from Lala, Daytime walked around the Marowak and over toward Cody and Kalseng, to make sure everyone was ok of their end.

OOC:
Sorry it was so short, but I have no idea what anyone else is doing since Sem took care of the major issue.

The Haze attack finally dissipated, revealing Giselle, Lluvia, and Alano. Giselle couldn't help but be annoyed at the Flash attack that came out of nowhere. Alano's vision would've been unharmed but she couldn't say the same about her and Lluvia. She guessed that was what the trainer was yelling about--not that she could hear him over the din of the battle. She didn't realize how close she was to that trainer until Lluvia nearly took the hit from the renegade Solar Beam. Giselle was very grateful for the trainer who had ended it all.

Giselle was finally able to get a good look at their battle field for the first time. The damage was extensive; the ground had been ripped to shreds and was full of mud puddles. Boulders had also fell onto the field from the shaking and the fainted Marowak among other Pokemon were all over the place. Giselle was sorry that they had damaged the area so heavily and was hoping there was some way to help even though it was a daunting task.

"Well, guys," said Giselle to Lluvia and Alano. "Let's find Jayce and Sophia to see what they're doing next." There was a chance Jet wanted to catch up with his sister and not be bothered with her and she anticipated that. "Maybe we'll even run into the trainer with the Starmie too."

Lluvia and Alano nodded in agreement as they followed Giselle. After this is all over, I'd love a long hot shower thought Giselle as she tramped through the mud.
