Xandi knew that the sooner this predicament got sorted out, the better, so she continued to check the rooms of the house, opening doors and even cabinets in an attempt to find just where the shiny Umbreon had run off to. She was now completely woken up, and her true feelings about the fighting began to show. "Midnight, this needs to stop right now!" she yelled throughout the house, pausing in her roaming as she spotted a door she had never seen before, located in a corner of a room. Thinking it was a closet, the Espeon threw it open with her psychic abilities and was surprised to find a full-sized storage room. "Oh, jeez!" she said quietly to herself, entering the room. Xandi located a light switch by the door and padded over to it. "Three, two, one!" she yelled, so maybe, just maybe, she would he heard, before flicking the switch upward, illuminating the room, which was full of boxes, with a bright yellow light. It didn't take her long to find who she was looking for.
So that was why she could not be heard- he had a pair of earmuffs on and was seemingly sleeping. Rolling her eyes, she walked up to Midnight's side, using her powers to remove the earmuffs from his head, instead hanging them from her own neck. She sat down on the cold floor, taking a deep breath, before starting to talk to the cranky Umbreon. "Hey, Midnight, we need to talk. Sorry I barged in and disturbed your sleep, but this is kinda important. Please listen to me. I'll try to make this quick so you can go back to sleep, alright? I just... this needs to stop. If we're all gonna live together from now on, we seriously all need to learn how to get along. You know what I think would help everyone out? Now, before I go on, I know you weren't the one who started this, so bear with me. The others need to learn that teasing you isn't a good idea, but you need to learn how to not get back at them. I might sound like a super ancient mother when I say this, but revenge is never the answer... okay? Please... I'd love to enjoy my stay here, but that's so difficult to do when everyone's getting on everyone else's nerves..."
