Layla nodded to Jason, that was pretty cool what he did. She was glad to have someone like that on her good side, Aruthus and Cherry both yawned as Layla returned them to their pokeballs while commenting on how they should get some rest. Another boy caught her attention and her eyes lit up, could it be another travel buddy? "It's fine, we handled it!" Layla grinned and nodded before extending a hand to be shaken by the stranger, "My name's Layla, and that's Jason. Who may you be? Are you participating in the island trials too?" she asked even though he barely had time to answer each question.

Darius looked up at the darkening skin before sitting beside Machoke and watching Scraggy and Hawlucha. "No attacks!" he reminded as Hawlucha took a ready stance, but Scraggy was already charging at him head first. Hawlucha dodged with ease, "Block with your wings!" Darius called to Hawlucha who wasn't the best at evading attacks, the pokemon nodded briefly before blocking Scraggy's next attack, he the kicked the smaller pokemon in the gut and sent him flying. Scraggy sputtered but still stood, being shorter he tried to remember one of the tricks Darius had taught him on dealing with bigger pokemon. As Hawlucha prepared a fist, Scraggy suddenly slid in between his legs and gave the bid-like pokemon a swift kick to the head- Hawlucha though was to fast and caught Scraggy's foot on contact. "Enough!" Darius yelled as Hawlucha dropped Scraggy, Darius patted his weakest team-member's head before high-fiving Hawlucha. This went on for a while, even Darius partook in some of the matched. Eventually everyone was pretty beat-up. Darius stood in line with the others, "Alright, Rydon coming to the left." he said as each pokemon did their own blocking method on their left side. "Aerial ace from above!" he then spat as his pokemon reacted the same. Darius returned his pokemon to their balls and looked down at himself before spitting and finding a nice tree to spend that night in.
