Kaleb, Jason, and Anthony were fighting hard. Really hard.
They had tracked him down. They had him cornered. But when he pulled out that double-sided sword, they knew it was gonna be a challenge.
Kaleb changed his arm to a sword. Anthony pulled out the glaive. And Jason’s axe was already at the ready.
The three were attacking from all sides. Jason swung his axe for the legs. Kaleb aimed for the head. Anthony went right for the chest.
But none of them could sink a single hit.
Every one of their attacks was either blocked or dodged. He finally began to attack back, grabbing Anthony by the throat and throwing him into the air.
He proceeded to kick Kaleb out of the way. He ran straight at Jason and swung the sword, which was blocked by the latter’s axe.
Jason swung his axe again, but the attack was blocked. He managed to retaliate by knocking the weapon out of his foe’s hands, leaving him unarmed. Jason swung the axe yet again, but he dodged the attack like it was nothing. He punched Jason in the gut before kicking his shin. Jason swung his axe for the foot, missing his opponent yet again, before the knife on Jason’s belt came loose.
His opponent had hold of his secondary weapon. Jason swung the axe one last time, this time for the head, but he missed again before getting a foot to the gut. His opponent then kicked the axe out of his hand before punching Jason in the face, knocking him back and disorienting him. Jason, distracted, lost focus, and his opponent took the opportunity and stabbed him in the stomach with the knife.
“No!” Anthony cried out. He picked up the axe and threw it at his opponent, but he dodged it and kicked Anthony out of the way. He grabbed Kaleb by the neck before sending out his Alakazam.
“Teleport,” he muttered under his breath. The Psychic type obliged, teleporting himself, his trainer, and Kaleb away.
Anthony was left on the ground. His dying mentor lay beside him.
“No,” Anthony muttered. He crawled over to Jason, but by the time he made it to him, his mentor was completely still. His heart rate had disappeared, and no breath escaped his mouth. Anthony began to cry and slam his mentor’s axe into the ground. He was devastated.
Kaleb Storm was missing. Anthony was unstable.
And Jason Nagrom was dead.
