I just noticed... Larvitar is a Rock/Ground-Type XD it's final evolution is a Rock/Dark-Type, unless this is a special Larvitar. XD
Courtesy of Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Larvesta can now be found in Jungles ~w~ Specifically, it can be found inside the Cave that's within Lush Jungle, though it only has a 1% appearance rate.
A jungle at the base of a volcano though..
Given the context of the forest it might just be a released Pokemon that managed to breed.

The geography of the region isn't very defined at the moment... I guess that's a topic we should work on at some point.
Strictly speaking, it's possible for any Pokemon to appear in this forest since it's a location for releasing trained Pokemon. I assume this is your time to carefully choose your first few teammates at your leisure since we'll be location restricted later.

I just realized but our little group (Claire, Felix, Shade, Pyros, Jezebel, Levi) has a pretty bad match-up against Val and Mal. A Tyranitar would sweep through our fully evolved teams. 
Ampharos -- weak ground
Leavanny -- weak rock
Luxray -- weak ground
Banette -- weak dark
Gengar -- weak dark
Talonflame -- weak rock
Jellicent -- weak dark
Cloyster -- weak rock

That's why Shade is waiting to find a Water-Type or a something similar to that. She won't feel comfortable when controlling a Pokemon that's not of the Ghost, Psychic, or Dark-Typing, but she can at least try.

I wonder if the cast is destined to form an evil team that will burn the hellhole ironically named Mirai down. Do it to steal all of its resources and then go full Lysandre and nuke everything.

Yep! One of the main reasons Mal could handle the fire! I actually ran the damage calculations to see if double resistance won out over a 40+ level advantage. It did, if it was something like Fire Spin. Or maybe the fact that he has Bite confused you?

Let's just say we are going to spend the night in the forest, and my characters, Ry's, and some more people were thinking about leaving the pack of Houndour and Houndoom and find a safe place to stay, and we have a new mention, as of Nebula Newt's new character. but yea XD

I'll only recap the things that Jezebel can respond to. Since you last posted, we've been talking about our next course of action. Which at this point seems like we'll be trying to find somewhere to rest, and learning more about each other. We've argued over whether to find a forest clearing or a cave to camp in and the twins have dropped the bomb assuring us that they're a mix of dangerous and arguably psychotic (Think of Angel minus the sadism...sorta).
Valeriya managed to enrage a Volcarona and set the forest on fire -again- and Niko was the proverbial 'Person that got shot while lying down' which is to say he's now fleeing the flames. Our little group hasn't noticed the forest fire yet, for some reason >~>, so now Shade wants us to follow her into the woods after we were just told- and I quote-

Well, she still has a clear head. She just can be a little mentally unsafe. She is sadistic and masochistic XD BUUUT there's nothing to worry about for right now, and if Pyros is going with her, that would mean that she's acting fine, or at least.... If she does any funny business, Pyros will protect everyone from her.
It's when you see her slouch or be eerily still is when you watch out for it. Although, your characters won't know this, but I'll make it apparent sometime later.

@Nebula-Newt, here is a quick note on your post. The forest is 30-35 miles long, so you won’t be able to carry that Druddigon all the way, and still have it live. Maybe find a group. Like someone with a Gothita with Heal Pulse, or someone who would have potions and a spare Pokeball that you could buy..........Also as a note to everyone, the forest is about 30-35 miles long, so no one should get through it until around 11 AM the next day, as an important note. Also, I have a gift for whomever gets to the exit first.

Also, as a reference to that surprise, I’m gonna get a response up from Felix, and set up that little gift, so it will be ready for whoever escapes the forest first.

I imagine it'll go something like this-
"Well, would you look at this! Half the forest is engulfed in flame. That does appear to be an issue..."
Well there is a massive police force, who would notice it from both Dolvous and the next town, who's water type Pokemon would be able to knock the flames out. The main problem with the fire is to get out of the area, as to be safe from the fire, and to avoid having the whole thing pinned on them if they have a Pokemon that can start a fire.
I thought our little group was far enough away to not notice it :/ and I also thought the tree tops were quite thick to even make the smoke invisible.
I thought the forest is too wet to turn into forest fire :/
