It was about nine in the morning. Most of the Armonia guards were preparing for some sort of "guests" that were supposed to be arriving by the end of the week. Today was Tuesday, so that event was still a little bit off. Still, as most of the guards had to help prepare for their arrival, and many others off combating the ever-growing number of monsters on the Tumana borders, the Armonia guard was weakened, to put it lightly. So as of right now, Mollie Slateblood was alone in pursuing the thief in front of her. A Felinar girl, judging by the tail. Her body shape and height gave Mollie the impression the Felinar was a female. She had a hood over her head, so Mollie couldn't pick out any more features. However, she had a very good idea as to who it was. The two were running down a long alley.
The Felinar girl drew her bow and nocked an arrow. Mollie expected the Felinar to turn around and shoot her, but she didn't. The Felinar girl raised her bow for the top of the roof of a wooden building at the edge of the alley. She Felinar girl let go, allowing the arrow to pierce the wood. A long rope dropped from the arrow, and Mollie quickly realized what the Felinar was planning. When the Felinar reached her destination, she leaped towards the rope and grabbed it while in midair. This gave her a head start while she quickly made her way up the rope. Just as Mollie reached it, the Felinar girl unsheathed her dagger and cut off the rope.
Mollie growled as she looked up and let out a low growl at the Felinar. She lowered her hood to reveal, as Mollie had guessed, the local Felinar thief, Neo. Of course, Neo had a mischievous smirk on her face. "Better luck next time, cutie-pie." Neo taunted flirtatiously.
"Don't call me that!" Mollie growled back. The Felinar really did get on her nerves. Neo just giggled.
"D'aww, you're even cuter when you're mad. Tell you what hot stuff, I'll make a deal with you. You actually catch me for once, and I'll do whatever you want, 'kay?" Neo proposed. "But, we both know that ain't gonna happen anytime soon. See ya', doll." Neo added, sticking her tongue out. She turned and ran off.
After a few minutes of leaping from building to building, Neo finally made it back to her safehouse, a small hut in the slums of Armonia. Guard patrols rarely came by, and they never thought of looking for her there. She sat down as she opened a small satchel and took out the documents within. "Let's see what I stole that made that cutie all riled up..."
