Crystal was sent to the Council of Kingdoms on behalf of her father, king of the Ice Kingdom. The council was located in the centre, between each kingdom of Pokémon. Each ruler was supposed to send a representative, or arrive themselves to attempt to negotiate peace, war, or possible alliances. Sometimes warriors would come in a ruler's stead, but it was rare for a villager to appear, aside from a few who would arrive merely to watch the debate. The young Glaceon sat in her seat, awaiting the other arrivals. She tapped her flat tail against the seat anxiously, looking back at the close friend she had brought along as protection, unsure how well the others would react to her. The last thing she wanted was to be burned alive or something. But despite her nervousness, she was hoping she could advocate for peace between the kingdoms.

Shard was standing next to the future ruler of the kingdom and his best friend he was looking at his claw and looked at Crystal"I don't have a good feeling about this Crystal, you sure you can trust these pokemon what if they try something"shard asked with a confused look on his face

Crystal sighed, turning back to Shard with a smile that was gentle, but also showed how nervous she was. This would be her first interaction with many of the other kingdoms, and the fist step to proving she could be a ruler herself. "I can handle myself, Shard. I appreciate your concern, but I'll be fine. I'm sure of it. Besides, you're here." She lowered her head for a moment. "But it's the only way I can advocate for peace against my father's will." Those who lived in the ice kingdom were characteristically cold. Or at least that's why they were typically like. Obsessed with showing strength, despite the fragility of ice itself.

"oh right, hehe, and I guess your right some Pokemon here are big show boaters, but the Pokemon from the other kingdoms can't be any better"Shard smiled at Crystal"so while we wait what do you wanna do after this meeting or whatever, maybe you could come over to my house flurry made something she wanted to show you"he said as he scratched his belly with his icy claw

Crystal gave a nod, somewhat dismissively, as she pawed at a few notes she had sitting in front of her. It wasn't that she was trying to be rude, but Crystal was merely nervous. This was the first big thing she had ever done in her life. And while she would love to see what Flurry made- because she thought Flurry was the cutest little thing- she was just a tiny bit stressed at the moment, awaiting the arrival of the others.

"where in the world are these pokemon, maybe the ice kingdom is the only one that's on time"shard chuckled at his remark,he noticed Crystal's expression"don't worry I'm sure everything will go smoothly, and I'm sure flurry will understand, your royalty stress is kind of normal especially for a future ruler"he said cheerfully

Piston walked in, with zero protection. He only showed up because he could not trust most of his warriors to make a proper decision. Piston toke a seat at the table. He looked around the table, and only saw a Glaceon accompanied by an Alolan Sandslash. "A little too young to be a ruler, I must say." Piston said to Crystal. He then looked at the notes he brought in. "So, you are the next in line for ruler." Piston looked through his notes. "Well, at least you can get some practice of being a ruler from this meeting. Maybe learn more from the other kingdoms. Well, if you get out of here in one piece, that is." Piston chuckled, and put his noted into a pile.

Crystal bowed her head in acknowledgment to the King of the Fighting Kingdom, while noting immediately how he tried to intimidate her. "I can assure you, sir, I do have a fair bit of experience when it comes to my position, though I intend to learn all I can." She spoke as properly as possible, making direct eye contact, sitting up straight, everything she was meant to do was executed as best she could. "And I'm quite confident I can care for myself. Thank you for your concern nonetheless." She gave a halfhearted smile, only to look back at Shard with a somewhat worried expression, once the other ruler wasn't looking.

Shard crossed his arms with an worried look"what do you mean by that"Shard stood in front of Crystal "if you even think about hurting Crystal..."he was prepared, acting as if the Hitmonchan was about to jump at him"I don't trust this guy Crystal"he said still worried as if the fighting ruler actually tried to attack them he wouldn't be strong enough to protect Crystal

"Shard." She called sharply. "That is enough." Really, she wasn't angry, she was worried for her friend. She couldn't have him challenging Piston. "He has not posed a threat. Do not jump to conclusions." Crystal just had to hope that Shard didn't take it as her being angry with him. She was trying to protect him, and allow the other to see that she could in fact be assertive.

"s...sorry,I guess I just got tensed up when he said that"shard moved out of her way and looked at looked at the hitmonchan"I'm sorry as well piston I shouldn't have acted like that"shard read some of the notes and have learned some of the rulers names,he lowered his head"just don't hurt my friend"

The next one to arrive was Proditor, one of the most respected and feared warriors of the dark kingdom. However, he was not showing his true self. Instead, he was disguised as an absol, to protect his identity. Whenever he came to this meeting he used this disguise so no on would know who he truly was, but everyone would know that he was the greatest warrior of the dark kingdom. He came instead of the the ruler because he considered it a waste of time that wouldn't go anywhere. Accompanying him was a villager named Solum. He only took Solum with him because he wasn't at all valuable and could act as a meat shield if anything went wrong. Proditor took a seat at the table and glanced at the others here. Solum however, just stood behind him. It was then that he saw a glaceon at the other side of the table. She was stunning, but he forced himself to look away. If Proditor saw him looking at here he would either not care, or kill him on the spot. Still, he began thinking once again how much he hated this war. He hated all war. It just seemed so unnecessary. In a world without this war, his parents would have cared for him. In a world without this war, he might have found someone who cared for him.

Crystal gave him a nod. "Thank you Shard." She whispered, turning her attention to the Absol and Umbreon... the Umbreon did catch her eye in the most unexpected of ways. She smiled over to them, only to tear her gaze away for a few moments, searching through the notes to find the names of the representatives for the Dark kingdom. But it was blank? She pursed her lips, groaning a little, before clearing her throat, sapphire eyes locking onto the two. "I am Crystal, princess of the ice kingdom." She stated, using her formal title for once, though she never truly liked it. "I must ask for the two of your names. No information was diclosed in the two of you."

As the absol and Umbreon arrived shard rose his head and looked at the Umbreon,he noticed the way he looked at Crystal and the somewhat depressed look when he turned away"are you ok?"shard asked worried about the pokemon since they didn't threaten Crystal or himself

Proditor looked over at the glaceon speaking to him. He wasn't surprised she didn't know who he was, but know one has ever asked his name at one of these meetings before. He supposed he might as well tell them the truth, since he wouldn't want to be caught lying, despite the fact that he was disguised as a completely different pokemon. "They know me as Proditer, the most fearsome warrior of the dark kingdom. I must say, your kingdom's warriors are some of my favorites to kill. I specifically remember a time when I pushed a cubchoo of a cliff. They had no idea I was there. They were a child too. Good times." He and Solum sat in silence for a few secends before Proditor turned around and said to his ally, "I believe she wanted both of us to introduce ourselves."
Solum was a bit startled by this. "I-I thought you were going to introduce me."
Proditor was annoyed by this. "What makes you think I know you're name? You're a useless commoner.
Solum was confused. "B-But I told my name."
"Why would I be listening? You're basically just a shield for if anything goes wrong. I literally don't care if you die, and you think I want to know you're name? I can't think of anyone else in our entire kingdom, who is less respected than you."
Solum just stood there in shock, not knowing how to react. After a few awkward seconds, he looked over at the glaceon. "I'm Solum. I'm here to die, apparently."

Proditor's comment made her reer back, eyes going wide with a mixture of fear and unbridled rage. "How dare you?" She stood, claws digging into the surface beneath her. "I have never seen such a pathetic excuse for a Pokémon. Slaughtering innocent children in this meaningless war? And even admitting one of your own is here as a sacrifice? How could you possibly be so volatile?" She growled, getting riled up by his words. Crystal was known for having a temper, and very strong beliefs that fit directly in place with her moral code.

"your a monster"Shard wispered under his breath,he felt sorry and angry for the absol, when Crystal jumped up he pleaded "Crystal calm down, sorry about that,I'm Shard close friend of the princess"Shard said calmly as he didn't want to start something as the absol was a psychopath, Shard's little sister came running over to him"hi big brother, who are these Pokemon the don't look like ice types"flurry asked innocently"flurry what are you doing here I thought you were with your friends, flurry you can't stay here it's not safe"Shard said worried"but why big brother, and why is Crystal angry"flurry wondered not knowing what was going on

Arch was sitting in his vigilante uniform, blending in with the pillars so he could listen in on the meeting of the Council of Kingdoms. After a while, he could hear some voices as people started to enter. He could hear argument. He gazed in secretly. He saw a Glaceon, an Alolan Sandslash, a Zoroark, an Umbreon, and a Hitmonchan. He was tired of the arguments. He was pretty sure they knew about him. Almost all of the kingdoms had heard of him. However, he didn't know how they would react. He took a piece of his cloth, wrote on it with an arrow, tied it to the arrow, and lifted open a window. He let the arrow fly, it hitting the table, not even scratching it. The cloth read: "YOU MOST LIKELY KNOW WHO I AM. IF SO, YOU KNOW WHAT I FIGHT FOR. I AM WATCHING. DON'T TRY ANYTHING FUNNY. THAT IS..."
"IF YOU DON'T WANT TO END UP ON THE WRONG SIDE OF MY ARROW."

Proditor was amused by this glaceon. This was the exact kind of reaction he wanted. He would always try to mess with others at these meetings. If he didn't, it would be way more boring. Of course, he didn't actually push a cubchoo of a cliff, but lying had always been one of the things he was best at. "If anyone in a pathetic excuse for a pokemon it's this idiot behind me. He was born in the psychic kingdom, but accidentally evolved into an umbreon. I'm surprised they didn't kill him, but somehow he made his way to the dark kingdom. I didn't actually bring him as a sacrifice. That would be a waste of a shield. He's simply there just in case. You can buy him if you want. He completely useless to me. I'm sure if you're representing you're kingdom you have quite a lot of money. He'd be good as a slave." It was then that the arrow flew through the window. "Or he could block things like that. I'm sure he wouldn't mind. Killing him would probably be merciful with the life he has. Who knows? It would be entertaining hearing him scream in pain, wouldn't it? If you don't want to buy him I can just kill him after this. I'll just tell the dark kingdom's ruler you killed him. I'm sure he'd love to attack you're kingdom. We'd get quite a few slaves. It doesn't mtter to me. I get paid either way, and I'm sure you wouldn't want this happening." He reached into a bag he was carrying, and took out a small ice cube. He held it in his paw before crushing it. "Understand?"

Crystal's breathing hitched for a moment. What was she supposed to do? The Umbreon obviously didn't deserve to die, or be so mistreated. But purchase him? That couldn't be possible... could it? It shouldn't be, even if it was. But he had to threaten her kingdom, and her people into slavery? Crystal was young, and she was new at this. Piston was right... She wasn't going to leave this place in one piece. Before even Shard could interfere, she closed her eyes and exclaimed: "Fine!" Crystal was fairly naive, but only wanted the best for not just her subjects- everyone. "The ice kingdom has no intention of fighting to continue this pointless war!"

Arch sighed. "No one even noticed my arrow." He hopped down from his hiding spot, concealing himself in the shadows of the building, being able to safely watch the meeting without being noticed.

Fortit arrived at the council pretty late. He normally would have been one of the first ones to reach it, but he had lost a lot of time listening to the mandatory of the Dragon Kingdom. He was there instead of the own ruler because he would be one of the fastest to arrive there, and, to be sincere, his ruler was not pleased with that kind of meetings, and he would probably end attacking someone, and that would not help with the actual policy of the Kingdom. He entered, saying a shy "Hello" and sat down in his place. He ignored what the others were saying; after all, he didn't know what they were talking about, with the exception of Crystal and her companion and Proditor last sentences. He was impressed in a good way of her morality. " My dear ruler had some... Inconveniences lately, and his presence here is impossible." He lied. "I am Fortit, one of the messengers of the Dragon Kingdom." He kinda said, nervously. " It is a pleasure to meet you." Well, ones more than others... He thought.

After some seconds, Okada entered the room with one of the warriors of her kingdom, a Toxicroak. "Well,well... No need for presentations. I want this to end as soon as possible." She said, quite arrogantly, completely ignoring the rest of the Pokemon. She didn't like those kind of meetings, but she really enjoyed all the things that could happen there. Once she took her seat, she saw the arrow, and read the cloth. She had heard about him, and, secretely, she really admired his objective, though she didn't have too much faith on it. Without saying nothing, he left the cloth on the table, waiting for the others to read it, smiling. "I suppose that you'll want to read this. And in the meantime... I want to clarify that my Kingdom has suffered a lot. Too many deaths, not only from my warriors, I am including civilians too. I am here to maintain our neutrality."

Arch continued to watch as more and more Pokemon joined the meeting. He stayed concealed in the shadows, not being seen, not having any intention of being seen.

Shard was surprised he's never seen Crystal this worked up"Crystal calm down more of the kingdoms are arriving, flurry hold my hand"he agreed with what Crystal said and he didn't want anything bad to happen "hehe, sorry about this I'm Shard friend of princess of the ice kingdom Crystal, you must be from the dragon kingdom and you must be from the poison kingdom nice to meet both of you"he said nervously

Proditor was actually very surprised when he heard the glaceon's response. He ignored the pokemon just now arriving, instead focusing on what the glaceon just said. "Wait, are you actually buying this guy? Wow! I was just messing with you but this is hilarious. Why would you want to buy him? He's useless! But if you have enough money I'd be happy to sell him. I have no use for him. So, how much do you have?"
Solum was very surprised about this. He could tell Proditor was messing with the glaceon before, but now he seemed serious. The weirdest thing was that Solum wasn't even sure if he wanted to be sold or not. Sure, he's was treated horribly in the dark kingdom, but he might be treated even worse in the ice kingdom. Though, this glaceon actually seemed to care about his well being. For some reason that alone made him happier than it should have for some reason. Maybe being sold wouldn't be too bad after all.

Arch notched an arrow, in case things went South. He yanked it back, ready to fight. "In fact," he thought, notching seven more arrows. One for each person there. "Again," he thought. "Just in case."

"Yeah, totally." Fortit said, with a smile in his face. In another circumstances, he would try to avoid talking to him. The dragons were kinda cautious with Ice and Fairy Types. In his kingdom, just talking with them could mean a betrayal and you'd be condemed to death. But Fortit took this as the opportunity to reach an agreement with them. "It is a pleasure meeting you and... I suppose that Glaceon is your Queen." He continued. Fortit did not meet any of the other Kingdom's leaders.

"Yeah, yeah... It is my pleasure too and all of that." Okama said, more focused on all the things that were happening between the Dark representants and Crystal. And this is why I enjoy coming here. She thought.

Crystal shook her head and sat down, attempting to calm herself. "You threaten my kingdom and the life of an innocent Pokémon from your own kingdom, I am not one to take such things lightly." She spat at the Zoroark in disguise. She turned to adress the newcomers, clearing her throat. "Welcome. I'm glad you could join us." She forced another smile, while her mind was whirring. To anyone else, Crystal made this commotion look easy, but internally, she was struggling. Good thing there weren't any psychics here...

Proditor was a bit annoyed by this glaceon since she hadn't seemed to understand what he just said. He calmed himself though, knowing he could still have some fun with this. "Are you kidding me? I literally just said I was messing with you. How did you not expect that? This is so boring I'd probably rather listen to this idiot behind me speaking. It's not like it's going to change anything. This war's going to go on until all kingdom's but one are dead. Honestly, I like it that way. If there's war, I get paid. I don't care about peace between the kingdoms. I just want to make sure mine stays alive. Besides, did you really think I'd kill this idiot just because I felt like it? Sure he's pathetic, but he can still be used as a slave. I'd still be fine with selling him though. How much do you have?"

Her eye twitched. "Yes, you are a tricky one aren't you." She hissed, claws digging into the table. "I do hope you realize your purpose for being here. As you are acting rather undiplomatic. "If you continue to disrupt the meeting, you will be required to leave." She stated firmly, eyes landing onto the Umbreon afterwards. "Solum, was it?" She asked, a newfound gentleness on her features as she addressed him. "I would wish to speak with you, if you don't mind?"

Shard was really annoyed from Proditor"phew, now that your calm, well somewhat anyways, and most of the kingdom representatives are here, maybe we should start the meeting after you talk with solem, I'll get the money for buying Solem, flurry can you keep things from going crazy while I'm gone"Shard asked "sure big brother"flurry happily replied, Shard began walking away from the council and heading towards the capital of the ice kingdom"be careful Crystal,I don't like these pokemon"he thought to himself

Both Proditor and Solum were very surprised when she said this. No one had ever wanted to speak to him specifically before, especially not someone from another kingdom. This was all very new to him, but for some reason he felt he couldn't say no to her. "Um, okay, that's fine." He didn't really know what he should say. Proditor was still confused about why anyone would want to talk to Solum, but decided to just let her since he could get some money out of this.

Fortit stayed a little... Out of the argue. He was with Crystal, but he did not want to talk about that, as it may seem a offense or something similar. He was there trying not to cause a new war and he feared that interacting in that moment could start it. He wouldn't forgive himself if a new war started due to his deplorable actuation. He looked to the cloth that the Poison leader left on the table, the one that she took before from the arrow, trying to distract himself, or at least, looking busy.

Okama stayed calm and muttered, though she was still focused on all the argue. She only smiled again and waited for that meeting to continue.

The Glaceon stood from her seat, and gestured for Solum to follow, giving a respectful nod to the others as she left. "Please excuse us for a moment..." She shut the door to the conference hall after they had exited.

Solum followed Crystal out into the hall. He still didn't understand why anyone would want to speak with him, especially someone so much more important than him. Regardless, she seemed nice, so maybe things would be alright.
Back in the room, Proditor was bored now that the two eeveelutions went outside. He didn't expect to get much fun out of anyone else here, so he just waited for them to get back.

Flurry began to get bored and tried to conversate with some of the Pokemon since Crystal and her brother left"hi,so what are you doing mister,it's making Crystal mad for some reason"she smiled at Proditor in knowing how important this meeting was

Fortit decided to gently wait for the others to return. In the meantime, he observed the rest of the room, trying to get distracted by something.

Okama started to talk with his warrior about the condition of her army. She wasn't listening to him, but she still needed to pretend to be busy. She knew the state of her army, and she accorded with his warrior to pretend that her army was strong, though it has been terribly weakened after so many battles.

Piston wrote down what happened into a note. "Well, that was interesting." Piston said. "Well, Proditor that was pretty dark for a Dark Type. It is just a child. But then again, they have to learn that the world is pretty cruel one way or another." Piston wrote some more things onto a piece of paper.

Shard was returning from the capital with a bag full of gold"this better be enough for solem, this thing is heavy!"Shard made his way back to the table "I'm back, thanks for watching them sis, anyways would this be enough for solem"shard set the bag on the table, shard was happy that Crystal was going to buy Some,he didn't like seeing innocent pokemon being treated like slaves"no problem big brother"flurry said happily

Once the doors were shut Crystal's demenor shattered. "I wasn't prepared for this... My father was right. I'm not ready... What in Arceus' name have I gotten myself into?" She muttered, pacing the hall, before her eyes darted up to Solem. He seemed perfectly calm, and she wondered how that was possible. "What do you think I should do?" She asked desperately. "Especially when it comes down to your future. I won't make a decision without your input."
