Jamie woke up. His eyes were still blurry, and his mind wasn't quite awake. He rubbed his eyes to see better. All of a sudden, it felt cold. Really, really cold. He looked down at himself. He was not in his bed, he didn't even look the same. He had fur, and was yellow, and...

"OH MY GOD!" He shouted, trying to figure out what in the world was going on. He was wearing a beanie, but it covered his eyes, so Jamie moved it back. Where am I, and what happened to me? Jamie also noticed that he was buried in snow, that went almost up to his neck, so he climbed out of the snow.

Serpentine lay face down, her tail twitching slightly, being moved by the wind. She was stuck in some kind of weird dream, where se was turning into a Pokémon- a strange notion to think about. Upon hearing a shout, the femme jolted awake, her lithe form jerking at the sudden noise. She blinked a couple times, and found that there was snow all over her body. Hastily, Serpentine brushed it off, the bitter cold of it biting at her frail skin. She swept away the last pits of snow, and in horror, the girl looked down at her body- not her body, but the body of a Snivy. Trying not to let her analytical brain have a melt down, she frantically groomed herself in an attempt to calm herself. She looked as beautiful as she could, but... she couldn't deal with this anymore.

"I'M A POKÉMON!!" she screamed, her chocolate gaze widening in shock.

Jamie heard another shout, and wanted to head over there. It was very, very cold, and even Jamie, who was used to the cold as a human, was freezing. It didn't help that he had to trudge through a foot of snow. The wind was also very chilling. Then his cheeks started to tingle. What's going on? Soon sparks were flying out of his red cheeks, and he could not tell what was happening. The sparks melted the snow around him. Neat. "HELLO OUT THERE!" He yelled out, trying to yell over the howling of the wind. He was still trying to find the Person, or Pokemon that was yelling out.

“A voice?” Serpentine thought to herself as she furrowed her fictional eyebrows. What the hell were the odds for that? She bit her lip in confusion, trying to view everything in a factual way. “Um, HELLO? WHERE ARE YOU?” Serpentine yelled at the very top of her lungs, hoping that her and whoever else was shouting would be able to find eachother.

"OVER HERE! ALL I CAN SEE IS SNOW AND ICE!" Jamie cheeks flared up again, melting the snow around him. Why does this keep happening? Jamie noticed a small green figure off into the distance. Must be them... "I"M COMING!" The wind was very strong, almost blowing Jamie away. He also noticed that way beyond the small green Pokemon he noticed, that the land became more green, and could actually see a tree.

Toby knew that his day was starting off poorly the moment he realised his hoodie no longer fit.

The boy woke up with a start—albeit a slow one. In context, any kind of start was probably a bad choice of words. He blinked the tiredness out of his eyes, stretched, and-
"Aaaah!"
He let out a girly shriek as his foot settled into a slurry of what felt like compacted snow. His hands immediately flew to his mouth. Toby had already been made fun of for weeks for such an outburst once, and he wasn't about to go through that again.
Wait... his face wasn't supposed to feel scaly. He continued feeling along his face, hands quickly gripping two tusks (at least... he assumed they were tusks) objects jutting out of his jaw. One look at his hands confirmed his suspicion: whatever he was, he was no longer human.

Toby's second observation was that it was deathly cold.

Even from within the plush fabric of what was presumably his favourite hooded sweatshirt (he must have fallen asleep in it... again), the temperature was making even the simple task staying awake a chore. Dragon type, he thought with a sigh. Tusks. Scales. Weird head crest. He had to be an Axew.
An Axew. Buried in the snow. Within a garment of clothing that could potentially keep him warm that he couldn't even wear. Fan-effing-tastic.

Honestly this should've been surprising to him. Spontaneous transformation. Slowly shutting down due to a cold blooded system. Abandoned. But Toby was more angry than anything else. That would be his luck. He had a test today that could've made his C in math into a better grade too. Oh yeah, and he assumed hypothermia was probably bad for reptiles. Fatally so.

If he was going to die here, at least he could go out doing what he loved most: swearing excessively. Or just yelling at the sky non-expletively. That would work too.
Before he could start (thankfully), a voice rang out through the snow.

He popped out of the bottom of his sweatshirt, still fighting to stay awake. "Hello?" He shouted, questioning his sanity. That was, until he saw a shock of yellow amoingst the grey of the sky. Or at least he thought he did. He darted back into his sweatshirt, then after a moment, stepped completely out.

Never in his life had Toby regretted a decision so quickly. And that was saying something, considering the Christmas party. He shuddered from both the cold and the memory. Every flake was like a painful dart against his now-ectothermic body. "A-are there m-m-more of u-u-u-u-uh-" he gave up on the last word after a good five seconds of stuttering. Hopefully whatever was out there would get the idea.

For the moment, his focus was staying out of the cold. Toby ducked back into his sweatshirt—even if he couldn't warm up with it, it would still block some of the wind—waiting for a response.

Jamie heard noises coming from behind him. He turned to see an Axew in the snow, who didn't seem to be doing very well. He changed his course to trek over to the struggling Axew. He got close enough to talk to the Axew, any further and he would have to yell over the wind. "Hello there. Are you okay? It's so cold..." Jamie was going to go closer to the Axew, but his cheeks sparked again, and if he got any closer, he would electrocute the Axew. Jamie's sparks of electricity were a lot smaller now, unable to melt snow.

"Yeah, d-doing just c-ch-chummy." Toby responded, voice dripping with as much sarcasm as he could manage given the situation. Probably not a good opener, but he didn't care. Tusk-first, he edged out of his wind-blocking hideaway onto the freezing tundra. Immediately, his clawed toes clenched upon stepping into the snow. Upon a quick head sweep, and a squint through the blinding he noticed the creature talking to him was a Pikachu with sparks pouring out of its electrical cheeks. Lucky, Toby thought, trembling like a leaf. He... she... whatever. Fur would've been nice.

"G-g-go help a-anyone else." He motioned to the Pikachu. "I'm... j-j-ju-just d-dandy." With shaking hands, he trudged a few feet through the snow and grabbed the edge of his jacket, wrapping the fabric around himself like a blanket. He looked at his hand. His fingers had begun to take on a bluish hue. That couldn't be good.

"W-w-wait..." he ran as quickly as he could (which wasn't very fast) to get closer to the Pikachu. Or at least within a couple of feet. Any closer and he would've been shocked. "It's p-p-p-prob-b-bably s-s-stick t-to-together or d-d-die." God, he wished it were warmer. Then the incessant stammering wouldn't be existant. "Is t-t-t-there anyone els-s-se?"

"Yeah. Off into the distance. I was heading their way, until I heard you." Jamie replied. "They seemed to be fine. I think we should head over there, there are trees over there." Jamie pointed down the hill, which now that he looked at the area closer, it was actually a steep hill down. Jamie's cheeks kept sparking, so he maintained a good distance away from the Axew. Also, Jamie didn't know that this Axew had been mysteriously transformed. He held onto his beanie so that it didn't blow away.

Serpentine heard more voices in the distance. There were more people? She tried not to panic but it was just terrifying, and there was no logical explanation to any of this. Her parents... her parents, where were they? What about Light? The Snivy balled her fists and punched the snow, which puffed up in fluffy white clouds. Two slender vines grew from the crest on her neck, punching too at the snow. "Okay... okay. That's a thing," breathed Serpentine. She decided she would attemt to recieve the attention of the other two. "ARE YOU TWO STILL THERE??"

Jamie heard that same Pokemon from earlier in the distance. "Hold on..." Jamie trekked through the snow, shivering along the way. He finally got close enough to be able to talk without the wind howling over his voice. "Hello... It's soooo cold!" James (either Jamie or James is fine.) stated, before backing up, so that he didn't electrocute the green snake Pokemon.

Shivering, Serpentine nodded. Her sharp teeth clacked together at a rapid rate, as her warm brown eyes befell the Pikachu. Her optics widened, slightly. "Yes, it certainly is," giggled the Snivy in a shaky voice, trying to maintain decorum. He seemed to back away, slightly, and she furrowed her fictional eyebrows. "Um... who are you? I'm Serpentine," murmured the Snivy, prounouncing the name ser-pen-tyne. She again made sure she looked presentable, and groomed herself slightly.

Quark sleepily awoke because someone presumably backed up onto her leaves. "God... dang..." She responded, and shook her leaves around. Suddenly, Quark felt something bad. Bad Feeling. As a cold wind slammed against her leaves, she shivered. What?.... I thought....... Quark poked her head out, seeing a yellow thing, a grey-green thing, and another, brighter green thing. "....He...lo. Would... Any of you, uh. Why am I not in bed? I thought I was in bed." Quark told them, squinting. Why was she so sleepy? Was it one of those effects of too cold? Underground was nice, so she knew she had at least some time left.

Mara groaned, the sound of what was likely voices from further away hitting her, ears twitching as she groggily woke up. The first thing she noticed was that she was no longer in her regular bed, feeling a thick blanket of snow underneath her. "Ugh..." Mara struggled to sit up, the snow melting under her touch as she attempted to get out of her sleepy stupor.

The second thing she noticed, however, was her apparent lack of fingers. "What the-?!" Mara yelped outloud as she realized the paw belonged to her, stumbling backward and getting a good look at the rest of herself, now covered in fur. "What is this?!" She yelled out, forgetting about the possibility of anyone else nearby

"Ok. What?" Sage mumbles as he slowly gains consciousness. Sage took a glance towards his surroundings as he wondered into the Tundra. "The Gods took me to this forbidden place." Sage whispers as he wonders off. "What is my purpose here?" Sage whispers as he slowly looks up. In the distance Sage can make out a few figures colored with the rainbows appearance. "This is my purpose." Sage whispers as he cats himself in snow. Sage slowly walks over to them. "Greetings, fellow 'God chosens'" Sage cries out as his coat of snow falls to the ground.

(Oh my lord, I did not notice that people responded, sorry...)

"James or Jamie, don't really care which, nice to meet you." James moved his beanie so that he could see better. More Pokemon kept coming towards him. A Panpour and a Petail were coming over. "Hello!" He called out, still shivering. "So cold..." James's cheeks sparked even larger now. He didn't know how to stop that from happening.

Vixen laid on her side, completely unconscious and unaware of her surroundings. Her mouth was agape with frozen drool suck to her cheek. A gust of wind blew snow in her face, causing her to shiver. Vixen huddled in a fetal position as who cold, frozen eyelids began to reveal her eyes. She slowly rose up, still hugging her body. "S-s-s-so c-c-cold. Wh-where am I?" Vixen looked around quizzically, trying to make out where she had landed. Eventually, she came a small sheet of ice. When she walked up to it, she was greeted by a Helioptide for a reflection. At first, she just stared in belief. Shortly after, her expression to a dramatic turn. She quickly scurried away from the ice, completely shocked at her discovery. "Oh my god... Ohmygodohmygodohmygod. No... This can;t be happening. This has to be a dream. There's no way I'm a Pokemon. That... It doesn't make any sense!"

James noticed another Pokemon in the distance. So many Pokemon, this is insane... "HELLO OUT THERE!" He called. His cheeks wouldn't stop sparking. James felt tired, almost like when the electricity from his cheeks left, he felt more tired. I'm like a battery. Strange. "I'M COMING!" He yelled trying to be heard over the wind.

Lucky woke up from what he thought was a long nap. As he climbed up, three things became evident to him. One, he has four legs. Two, he's not were he fell asleep at. Three, he's colorblind. No idea what those mean. Might as well look myself over. Lucky thought. As the pokemon/person looked himself over, voices could be heard from the distance. Others? Well, I may be a Luxio, and I need to know what happened. The normally quiet pokemon looked in the direction of the voices and made his way over there, no idea what, or who, could await him.

Quark didn't get an answer. What? I thought I talked to them? She popped her head out from another layer of dirt, this one being colder. "H..Hello? Why am... Why am I... Not. In... In bed?" She asked, confused. She saw some yellow thing, and asked "Who?"

James heard more voices. He turned around to notice another Pokemon trying to speak to him. "Hello there. I'm not sure why you are here. I don't know why I'm here." James backed up again so that he didn't electrocute the Pokemon. "I'm Jamie and/or James. Either is fine."

Lucky noticed some motion over to his side while walking to the voices. Relying on his hearing, mainly, he turned to the voice and started to run over to it. In the eyes of others, they would see a blur of yellow. "Speak!" Lucky called out in a deep rumble. He couldn't find the pokemon unless he could hear it.

"Hold on." James said to Quark. "I'm over here!" He yelled out to whatever Pokemon was calling out to him. He then turned to Quark. "What's your name?" James sat down, and his sparks of electricity melted the snow, and the water still made James cold.

"Hello, Jamie And Or James." Quark muttered, "I'm. Uh... Ion. One of those matter thingies.... like, uhh... Energy, maybe?" She answered. Quark was so tired, she would and could only respond to what was right in front of her. "Do... Do you... You know icy tundra where we are?" Quark asked. Why was in dirt? Not bed?

FroakiesFrubbles

"Nope, no clue." James responded. He didn't even care that Quark called him 'Jamie and or James.' "I don't know how I got here. And Electron, maybe?" James was kinda smart, okay, he was very smart. "Proton, Neutron, or is your name Atom?"

"Uh.... no, no. There's uh, flavors. Flavors of them." Quark replied, and thought. She knew stuff about what she was named after, she just forgot the name. "I'm... strange. Strange flavor... those. Subatomic. Par....ticles." She said. "They like... do.. gravity."

FroakiesFrubbles

"Graviton? Wait, I got it, Quark?" James responded. "Wait, you can't even remember your own name? What happened to you?" James's cheeks stopped flaring up again.

Voices caught Vixen's attention. Seeing a bunch of other Pokemon startle her, especially since they'e able to speak. Her brain was not okay with this. Once again, Vixen began panicking. She instinctively dove into the snow, attempting to hide from the others, though not so successfully.

"Yeah... yeah. Quark. That's... it." Quark responded, sleepily. "It's just.... uhh.... I'm tired. Like.... really. Tired." She said. Some other yellow wnt into the white, and she called out "Yellow? Why...... Why don't you join, join the conversation!" I really want eggrolls.

"You do seem tired." James responded. "It's way too cold to sleep, though..." James noticed the other Pokemon as well, but didn't say anything. What can I do, now that I am a Pikachu? He stretched. He felt a wave of electricity hit him. A tiny lightning bolt flew out of him. Cool.

Quark flinched at the lightning bolt, and asked "Wh.. what are we gonna... gonna do... now?". She didn't know about the whole pokemon thing, and didn't know where she was. "Why was in... ground?" She asked no one, and wiggled her way out. "We should... find a... a uh... Shelter?"

FroakiesFrubbles

"I saw some actual trees over there in the distance. We should head over there." James responded. "Sorry for that lightning bolt, I'm just trying to find out what I can do. " James made another tiny lightning bolt.

Sage quietly follows "disciple Jameson" as he greets others who have also been chosen. "The Gods have chosen you. This is a privilege. God bless you." Sage quietly says greeting the others. As Jameson speaks to Quark Sage waddles over to a Heloptile. " Greetings fellow disciple!" Sage says as he claps his hands together.

Serpentine was still in shock, but was trying to prevent herself from freaking out. “Nice to meet you, Jamie...” she murmured, frowning. Her breathing became more and more rapid as more and more Pokémon appeared, one of which was talking about being ‘chosen’. LI doubt we were ‘chosen’ for anything,” Serpentine murmured rather aggressively. “How could this possibly be a good thing? I mean, how could this even happen!? It makes no sense!”

Sage glances over towards Serpentine. "The Gods have chosen you to come to this 'forbidden heaven'. You are a disciple now. Serpentine." Sage whispers. Sage stares into Serpentines eyes. "Tea?" Sage offers as he heats a cup upon his head.

Mara's chest rose up and down as she breathed heavily, recognizing her new forme as a Braixen. It could be worse, She thought to herself. At least I'm not a Muk or something gross like that.

She stood, stumbling a bit as she adjusted to her new body. Despite being surrounded by wind and snow, her fire-type coat was thick enough to provide a good amount of warmth. It was then she froze in place, however, hearing those voices from before suddenly much, much closer. She scrambled for the branch behind her, stuck in her tail, plucking it out of her fur and waving it in front of her defensively. She gave a toothy sneer as the group of Pokemon approached, not in the mood for games. "Hey! One of you- Any of you tell me whats going on! This better just be some elaborate prank!"

"Hello." James said to the Braixen. "I have absolutely no clue whatsoever. I just woke up here. I don't know where we are." Jame looked at the sky. The sun was going down, but it was still light outside. Eventually the sun stopped lowering and moved a long the sky. Oh, we must be at one of the poles. "Hey, I think I know where we are..." James pointed out. "Look at the sky. Instead of the sun going down like it normally does, it just stopped going down. Because it's summer, and the sun isn't going down, we must be somewhere in the arctic!"

Lucky ran in the direction of the voices. I can barely see them in the white snow. The Luxio thought. Soon he made it over to them. "Hey." Lucky said blankly, waiting for the others to introduce themselves. He had no idea what they were because they blended in with the white snow.

Quark was seeing new faces left and right. "Wh.... What? Who?" She repeated to herself, sleepy. One was talking about god... or something. Some blue? thing appreared, so she decided to talk to that..... one. "Hello....." Quark tried to add words, but she was tired and couldn't think of any. She heard words about the Arctic, so that's where Quark assumed they were. I was in bed, though... Why?

Mara kept her branch out, unsure if she should trust the sudden Pokemon emerging from the snow. One thing was for certain, they were just as confused as she was. She had no other choice at this point.

"The artic? Hmph, that would explain a lot..." She grumbled in annoyance, shivering slightly as the chilled wind blew against her. "But why are we all the way out here, huh?"
