This thread has been up since June 5 '10, but in like February on the old 'Charms, but on 31st March I redid it~!

ALSO HEY: if you see something here that you really like and want to use it in some way, just ask!! i'd hope that you'd get my permission first before using something so i'm always open for messages! depending on the sprite and how well i know you and stuff, i might let you use it in some ways. wanna use my sprite as a profile picture? sure man, as long as i get credit! wanna use one of my sprites to base a short story off of?? just ask and we'll see! wanna get permission to take my sprite to a tattoo artist and get it permanently imprinted on your skin??? uhhhh sure i mean it's your body man, just ask me first! yeah! i love you!

Scratch Sprites
Well, scratch sprites are basically when you sprite from scratch. As the name implies. ie, you don't use any bases and stuffs. And I only recently decided to scratch sprite, so I fail at it. Yayz. Anywhos, some examples;

(Left to right) My Fakemon, Germinut and Slimeling, the Grass-starters of my region |3, shiny Ghastly, Spinda, Squirtle, Azumarill, and Treeko. :3
Splicing/Morphing
Basically puting two or more Pokemon together. o3o Some people use splicing to make Fakemon, as I have with these two. But others just do it because two Pokes put together looks awesome. xD

Mapping
Well, mapping is just basically what it sounds like. o3o You know the little town maps in Pokemon? Well, mapping is basically making them. xD I've only made one up to date, but here it is:

Finally, my speciality! Once when I was bored I made up a new category of sprites. Basically making a Pokemon-sprite into a Pokemon-plushie-sprite. x3
