No, not "what Pokemon would you be", I mean make a whole new species of Pokemon based on yourself! I was going through some old threads and this one caught my attention, mostly because it was so fun to make and read through everyone else's. I'll be making slight modifications to the original post, but the gist is the same~ What kind of a Pokemon would you be? To make things easier, here's a little guideline help thingie if you're stuck.
Species Name: Essentially your name here. For example, I would put down Kyubeon or Lyni.
Species Classification: The ______ Pokemon.
Pokedex Entry: Essentially flavor text. Write one or two sentences about yourself as a Pokemon here. Like, "___ are often found in small caves, shying away from society."
Typing: What type are you? No fanmade types here, mind.
Abilities: Your ability. You can make up one specific ability for yourself if you wish, and you can have two abilities to choose plus a Dream World ability, like in the games.
Base Stats: Your base statistics. Now, to make sure you don't choose stats that are wildly out of proportion, ranges were assigned based on seniority and the like. Your base stats should add up to the range you can find yourself in here:
Admins - 680-720
Moderators - 600-680
Veterans - 540-600. You are a Veteran if you have had a Pokecharms account for at least 4 years.
Regulars - 500-540. You are a regular if you have a post count of 200 or more, uploaded at least 20 works in the corner, OR have been a regular on chat for a year. You have to have had a Pokecharms account for at least 2 years.
Rookies - 460-500. If you do not fit the requirements for a Regular, then you are a Rookie, unless...
Newbie - 460 or below. You are a Newbie if you have joined during this year.
The base stats are HP, Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed, in that order. The numbers you assign to them must total be within or below the range you fall in. So if you are a regular, you can actually have a base stat total from 6-540, if you want. You simply can't go higher than your range.
Level-Up Movepool: Give yourself the moves you would learn via level up! Simply list the level and the move you would learn then. You may create one or two moves for yourself, but you must list its type, power, PP, and effect. If you don't have time to create a full set of level-up moves, why not simply give us four moves that you would learn?
TMs and HMs: What TMs or HMs would you learn? Keep in mind these universal TMs: TM06Toxic, TM10Hidden Power, TM17Protect, TM21Frustration, TM27Return, TM32Double Team, TM42 Facade, TM44Rest, TM45Attract, TM48 Round, TM87 Swagger, TM88 Sleep Talk, TM90Substitute, and TM100 Confide. Also consider TMs 15 and 68, Hyper Beam and Giga Impact, respectively. You don't have to have all of these, but in general, almost every Pokemon can learn these TMs.
So as an example, here's me~! (Veteran ftw)
Species Name: Lyni
Species Classification: The Shiny Fox Pokemon.
Pokedex Entry: Although they are often found in hailstorms and snowstorms, Lyni’s personality is far from chilly, for they are rather amiable around other creatures. They also enjoy going around making "contracts" with little girls, though...
