"Yes, I am. And don't worry. I'm not going to hurt you. I really do think you should come to my home, you really look like you need something to eat. I could send one of the Aegislash to deliver the treasure, if you wish. After all, you did steal it fair and square. So, what do you think?" Hyrain asked, tilting her head

Zoroark gawked at Hyrain. "Better than we expected." Purrloin was doing the same thing.

Down below, Majora stopped observing the Aegislash in the sky. She had to get back to the forest to discipline the rest of the army. Two meant nothing when it compared to twenty, and she stepped away from her cover to make a mad dash past the escort.

"Well, I'm making the guess your experiences have told you very different things about the kings and queens in this region. Now, we'd better get going." The Aegislash suddenly shot forwards, heading towards the location of the steel kingdom. Once they were in sight of the city, one of the Aegislash detached, the others adjusting themselves to fill the gap, and flew back towards the town they were at earlier with the treasure wrapped in it's cloth. It eventually arrived back and flew down to where the Dark army was before. After following the tracks they had made, it eventually caught up with them, then flew to the front where a Mighteyena was walking, probably the commander of the pack, and held out his cloth. On it were all the pieces of jewelry the Zoruark had been carrying, gleaming slightly in the weak light

After the Aegislash transport had landed, Hyrain stepped off, and gestured for the two dark types to do the same

Sammy grumbled to himself as he walked, limping in a way since his gait was uneven due to only using one wing to walk, they ther using the spear like a walking stick. Thyme strutted easily along the road, and the Incineroar dragged his paws on the middle. They had been trekking for a long time in order to reach the dark forest, and covered a heavy distance of land. Several times Crescent had lost sight of them due to a lack of hiding places, but she still managed to follow undetected.

The fox nudged his friend to start a conversation. "So do we just bow to everyone like we do at King Shiftry's house?" He whispered. The Purrloin shrugged. "Not sure. We've only been there once before, remember?" She hissed at him, which ended the conversation. They followed after Hyrain and glanced around like sightseeing tourists.

The Mightyena took the valuable items in her jaws and quickly handed them off to an Inkay. "You can carry that. Got more energy than me." She ordered him. "Say hello to Hyrain for me!" She asked the messenger Aegislash in a more polite way. "The recruits are safe!" Whispers like this spread when the army got a look at what Inkay had.

Aqua watched queen Hyrain leave as the deal came to a close and gave a sigh of relief, happy that things when smoothly. "I hope your not going soft on your negotiating my king, we defiantly lost profit on that deal." "All to make the next meeting sway in our favor," Locke said, finally releasing the yawn that he had been holding back during the trade, "Its the one that matters the most regarding the steel kingdom."
"Shall we head back and inform the rest of the advisers of the meetings events."
"Go on without me, I'll catch up in a bit."
"Every time you tell me that you do something someone of your status shouldn't be doing, so I must advise against it." Aqua said with a sigh, before look back up at her king. "I shall come find you after I check on somethings in the city, just remember the title you hold my king, and its weight." Aqua said before turning to walk deeper into the meeting hall. Locke watched Aqua as she left, she was the only one of his advisers that knew the full extent of his goal's and the weight that the next meeting with the steel kingdom carried.

The Aegislash nodded, then flew back towards the Steel capital

The remaining sword Pokémon let out a buzz, ordering the Kilnklang to open the door to their home. As Hyrain walked away, it closed behind them. "It would be best for you to stay in my private quarters, as I'm not sure that the rest of the people in the castle would be happy to see a dark type here." She said, putting her hand into a slight indentation on the side of her throne. It swung open, revealing a passageway towards a bedroom. "In here, please."

The two pokemon wordlessly went inside. Zoroark started hyperventilating a little bit, but his companion calmed him down with a meow, a reminder of where he was. "Not in a box. Castle, Zoroark."

Hyrain looked back. "Sorry, do you have claustrophobia? It widens out once we get there. See?" She said as the corridor opened up into a massive bedroom, with doorways leading into a kitchen, as well as a living room and several guest rooms. "Let me get some food, first of all." Hyrain walked into the kitchen and opened a cupboard. She pulled out what appeared to be a Pokepuff, with an orange colour and little bits of Pecha berry sprinkled over it. After taking out a second, she walked back, and held them out to the Pokémon

Both pokemon eagerly took the food. After scarving down their pokepuffs, they grinned at each other, more full than they had ever been in their lives. "Thank you, ma'am." The dark types bowed, not knowing what else to do in this situation.

Thr escort reached the edge of the Dark Forest. Gazing into the trees, dark ash grey trunks and leaves dark enough for shadows to turn black, it was enough to stop Crescent for a few seconds. The Incineroar peered into his new domain, tail swishing, before stepping onto the border. He turned to face Thyme and Sammy, his intended words dying in his throat as she squinted at a small white figure who had gotten caught on the road. "Sammy...sir... Um... You have a uh, you've got a shadow." He nodded behind the Noivern, who turned in confusion. One sonic screech later and Crescent was well aware she wouldn't even be let out of the house for the next week.

The leader of the dark type army weaved between the trees. The items were being prepared to be sold right now, and the parents of the recruits were celebrating with most of the other dark types. Majora had sensed a new presence in the dark domain and immediately left the overjoyed mothers and father to investigate a possible threat. An Incineroar, unaware of her presence, was standing there. While it was staring at Crescent, she took the opportunity to sneak forward and greet the new dark type. She was painfully aware of her thin, scarred form, but acted as if it was nothing important.

Thyme and the Incineroar looked after the retreating form of Sammy, who had snatched up his daughter and was rapidly flying back to town. The old fairy type looked back at the banished Pokemon, "Good luck." She sighed, before leaping off with surprising grace and speed for her age. He watched them go, before the Incineroar turned, and did a double take at the sight of the scarred Pokemon behind him.

"It's fine. You know, I really think I should take a visit to the forest you come from. If all of the Pokémon there are as malnourished as you, maybe I could bring some food. We have plenty of Pokepuffs. But I can't visit another domain without permission from someone there, so would you mind asking?"

The Mightyena laughed at Incineroar's surprised face. "Welcome to your new home. I'll show you where to go." She was doubtlessly scaring him further, but the cat had to toughen up sometime. The hyena turned and followed the path back to military camp, checking behind her every so often to make sure Incineroar was there. On the way, she chatted with him about what to expect and what to do.

Zoroark thought of how King Shiftry might react to the offer. He was as hungry as any of them, but he was also stubborn. If his monarch disagreed, then there would be only a few that could change his mind, the army commander included. "I will ask him." It was worth possibly being punished to have extra food.

"Leaving as soon as possible would be beneficial." Purrloin spoke to Hyrain for the first time. "We have parents who probably think we're dead, and injured pokemon to feed as well."

"Well, I doubt they think you will be hurt, considering I sent them the jewelry. It's a sort of peace offering, and they'll know you're safe. And if you could follow me, I can send one of my Skarmory now." Hyrain walked down into her bedroom, and up a ladder, where her jaws let out a screech. After a few seconds, a Skarmory flew up, they had a flurried conversation, and the steel bird rested a wing on the ground, inviting the two Pokémon on

Purrloin paced forward and climbed onto Skarmory's back. Zoroark went after her, still somewhat hesitant to trust the steel types. "Thank you for your help." They thanked Hyrain in unison while bracing themselves for the ride.

Locke walk out of the meeting hall though the city of Byeks, its citizen have more or less gotten used to seeing there king wonder the streets when he was in town. He made his way to the city until he came to a small pub and stopped, exhaling a breathe as he pull the door open and walked in. The pub went silent as he walked in as patron after patron shifted there gaze to the large feraligator that entered. The frogatior behind the counter and the samurott were the last to look over before the entirety pub busted out in cheer's.
"Well, if it isn't King Lock Jaw!"
"Haha! How the high life!"
"Here to spread a bit of that wealth!"
Lock sighed with a slight smile, happy to see that things haven change since the last time he was here as he to a seat beside the samurott. "Its been a while Locke, how's the crown treating you." The samurott said as the frogatior slid Locke a drink. "Still to small, still to heavy." Locke said as he took a drink. "It suits you, no one has climbed the ranks of the guard as fast as you did."
"I simply did my job"
"And now you got a new one...now how did the meeting with the steel queen go?"
Locke and the retired guard spent the next two hours catching up over drinks, the small pub breaking out into a small party when Aqua finally arrived. "Its time for us to he out my king." She said ignoring the whistles and cat calls of drunk guard. Lock stumbled up, his balance falling him as he raised up his arm. "Keep strong!" He cheered as the pub shouted back, "STAY STRONG!" before Locke found himself outside in the company of his two clawitzer guards and Aqua. Locke's guards helped steady him as Aqua lead the way. "You can't do this every time we're in Byeks, it doesn't set a good image." She sighed as they made there way to the ocean.

The Skarmory, after checking they were on securely, shot into the air, his wings almost making a screaming sound as he accelerated to just under Mach 1. In no time he was hovering over the forest, and asked in a grating voice, "Where do I land?"

Long before Thyme even reached the town again, Crescent was sent to and locked inside her room within the giant tree that held roosts for the abundance of bird Pokeon in town. Her parents would never yell at her, even when they were angry, because they knew it was.... Well simply put it was a trigger. But their silence at the dinner table and the tense air was enough for her to get the message as she scarfed down her food and excused herself to her room. She gazed out the window of her room, leaning dangerously off the unguarded windowsill, watching a streak of silver rocket towards the dark forest. She thought about the Incineroar a little, since he wasn't a bad Pokemon but.... Would the forest change that? Would he turn bad and evil and start attacking villages and stealing things? Dear Arceus she hoped not, she remembered that he had a son, and the poor Litten was probably torn up inside. Maybe... No she shouldn't. It was against not only her parents but the universal law as well, she can't stay awake after sundown.

"There's a box in a clearing!" Zoroark managed to shout. The speed was making his eyes water. Besides him, Purrloin was desperately holding on, both terrified and enjoying herself at the same time. Liepard with another Zoroark looked up and saw the flash of metal and crimson. They raised a joyous howl which the crowd repeated.

Incineroar and Majora stood together at the edge of camp. "So some of the spies are children?" The part fire type questioned, which got him a simple nod as an answer. "That means some of them are parents...could I ask a favor?" The Mightyena sat, an indication for him to continue. Incineroar started talking, having Majora's full attention.

Slowing down considerably, the Skarmory flew down towards the box, and landed. He spread his wing out, allowing the Dark-types to get off, and told them, "I will wait here until you get a reply from your leader,"

The fox and Purrloin leapt down. Instead of going into King Shiftry's home, they searched the crowd for the military leader before spotting her with an unfamiliar dark type. The hyena was plotting with the newest resident when she was interrupted by two more experienced fighters than Incineroar. "What is it, Zephyrs?" She snapped, not in the mood for having her current plot impeded by the lowly ranked pokemon. "We need to talk to the king." Zoroark explained. Majora understood and led the way toward Shiftry's grassy hut, promising Incineroar to continue discussing the plan later.

I really hope he gives me permission, Hyrain thought, settling back into her throne. I can't belive that these Dark-types are being treated like this! I mean, honestly. That purrloin looked like it was about to collapse on the spot!

"I've come to ask a favor from you, lord." All three bowed to Shiftry in respect. The king knocked on the wood of his throne, and the ones who served him stood again. "What did you say about a favor, Majora?" The Mightyena nudged Purrloin, letting the inferior one speak. "The queen of steel wishes to offer us an offering of food, and hopes you will accept." The devious pokemon's voice quivered when she said this.

Shiftry visibly thought over it for a few minutes. "Majora, you know that I am a proud creature, who hates reliance on others. But for my kingdom's sake, and partly in thanks for your mother's sacrifice, I will accept." The three spies bowed again and left. Zoroark immediately rushed up to Skarmory with yips of joy.

Upon arriving back in The Sea Capital Aqua lead the guards to the king's quarters and realized there support on Locke who stumbled forward. "I shall inform the other advisers of today's proceeding, so please get some rest my king for there will most likely be a meeting discussing how we move forward with the steel kingdom." She said sending the guards on there way and closing the door behind here. Locke stumbled forward and crashed into his bed, his mind roaming to random though before he pasted out for the night.

Skarmory tilted his head, a smile on it's beak. "Sounds like it went well. I'll go and tell the boss. I'll get there quicker without having to slow down for you, so I'll be back soon." It then flew up into the air and quite literally shot off, accelerating to his full speed of Mach 2 and his wings actually screaming as he arrived back. He immediately went into the throne room, and told Hyrain, who replied,
"Sounds good. We'll have to make this a bit quiet, since the rest of the kingdom probably won't be happy with me if I go offering gifts for the dark types. So, let's go."

About an hour later, the Steel queen had everything she needed, along with a Metagross to help carry/levitate it. The Aegislash rose into the air, with everything on it, and headed to the town. Once they landed, Hyrain, the Metagross and the Aegislash walked through the collection of houses, mostly flying type nests, and into the forest. After another ten minutes of travelling, they had reached the palace the Skarmory had told her about. "Hello. My name is Hyrain, but you probably know me better as the queen of the steel kingdom. It has come to my attention that there have been some major food problems, so I decided to visit, offering a gift of food. Anybody who has not eaten, please come and do so," She announced, the Metagross laying down the food

Before the hungry pokemon could descend onto the food like half-starved Mandibuzz (some of them were), Incineroar, Zoroark, Purrloin, and Majora blocked the rush. The meals were expeditiously portioned out. Before long, the four were settled with their own food, and Incineroar had his first scratch marks. "I was hoping you would have been more careful. Some of us eat two meals a week!" Majora warned Hyrain.

Hyrain tilted her head, saying "Exactly my point. There was no worry in running out of food, as we can always get more from home. If it got too bad, this," the Mawile bared her second head, "is possibly the best crowd control you can get for dark types. But sorry if I hurt anybody. Please can you tell me if you start to run out of food."

"Of course. We thank you for your kindness." Since Shiftry was not present, the military leader had to speak for him. The other three left to get their scratches healed.

"It really was not a problem. I am curious to know, why the food shortage? There used to be many Pokémon living wild, before the Great union, who would survive in the forest, eating the berries that grew there. So, why is there so little food in here?"

"Many reasons. Non-dark types would come in to harm us, trampling food resources; overpopulation, et cetera." Bored, she looked down at the amulet coin fastened around her neck. It was now a symbol of her position and her lucky charm on thievery missions. Unfortunately, it had smudges of dirt on it, which she wiped off with a paw.

Hyrain's horns rose upwards, making a hissing sound and bearing their teeth , whilst her real head took on a frown. "Holy Jirachi. I would like to say you can come to my kingdom, but the people will simply not allow it. They'd probably lynch me, and kill you. It's shocking, it really is. But if there is any way I can help, please can you tell me."

"Not that surprising." She shook her head, then thought of what help the kingdom might need. "Nothing really comes to mind, except getting out of this damn forest permanently." An Absol approached with a questioning look in his eye. "Go spar, Rising. No claws, teeth, or slicing limbs off." She ordered and he left, with the clashing of metal against metal audible shortly after.

Crescent sighed as she looked out her window, it really was getting late. She really shouldn't follow through with the thought in her head... Besides who's to say that he wouldn't try anything without adults around to watch him? But... Thyme had stressed that if she had the power to do good then you had an obligation to do good.

She groaned softly to herself, but nonetheless snuck back out of her room and into the kitchen. Her parents muffled voices could be heard above in their bedroom, so quietly she shifted through the Pokepuffs that were for desert. She only took one, and rearranged the rest to look like nothing had been removed, before heading back up to her room. Wrapping the treat in a cloth, she jumped onto the edge of her window, looking down to the bushes below.

"This is a terrible idea." She said aloud to herself, the setting sun turning her silver fur a golden off white color, shimmering in the light. Nonetheless, she leapt, plummeting like a rock into the bushes below, no other sound told of her departure save for the rapid ringing of her golden soothe bell.

Dazedly, she wobbled out of the bushes and brushed twigs out of her fur. Shaking her head, Crescent ran off into the bare streets, avoiding the adults. She knew generally where the Incineroar had lived, his wife was still a torracat and would be inside with her son. She didn't have to look hard though, since the poor Litten was sitting on his roof, glaring towards the Dark Forest. With a groan, Crescent began to climb, jumping on boxes and her claws scratching the sides.

The thatched roof snapped under her weight as she emerged, huffing and puffing. The Litten turned abruptly to the Eevee, fur raised and glowing with fire. "Who the heck are you?" He hissed at her, causing Crescent to yelp and leap back.

"Well... I suppose, I can give your people enough food to last them a while, and you can just contact me if you need more. And, well, anything involving building I can help with. Does that sound good to you?"

"That works out very well. Thank you again."

Incineroar was talking with the other parent pokemon. He was trying to find a way to get his son back, and they began scheming a plan to help the newly drafted pokemon retrieve his child.
