[FroakiesFrubbles]

Bubbles looked around. He was literally laying down on the cliff face. His brain was able to catch up to what was going on now, he looked at Beep. He was different... Bubbles assumed he had evolved. It made him wonder when he would evolve. Bubbles started to feel less and less pain, and he used his Frubbles to help heal the parts of his body that were injured in the fall. This weird feeling Bubbles had grown and grown. He couldn't describe it at all. He decided to get some sleep, and maybe the feeling would fade.

 

[sSoul]

Cosmo did reach the top, but he was very upset, "Why doesn't Cosmo evolve? Cosmo feels that he is strong enough, but Cosmo still hasn't evolved! Cosmo is not weak enough." Out of pure rage, he picked up a nearby rock and threw it at a mountain, and then he picked up more and did the same, blue sparks animating around his body.

Bubbles couldn't sleep. His eyes remained open, and he laid down, staring at the dark-blue sky. 'The day was way too short, how are we going to get anywhere like this." Bubbles wasn't sure how long it would take. But it took them an entire day just to do a tiny little part of the island. Bubbles tried to sleep, but the weird feeling kept coming back. It was simply indescribable. It made him feel... different... He finally managed to fall asleep...

 

[sSoul]

"IT'S...NOT....FAIR!" Cosmo shouted as he threw the last of the heavy stones. He finally ran out In three things, Rage, Energy and Stones, so with that Cosmo began to cry a little and fell asleep, hoping that he gotten somewhat stonger. The blue sparks began to flare intensely, only to fade away in mere moments after.

Bubbles's eyes slowly opened. He felt different, but he couldn't tell what was different. He felt taller, and wider. His eyes fully opened, and he could see. He looked at himself. 'Wha- What happened?" Bubbles then assumed that he had evolved. "But how?" Bubbles could not tell. His little hammock was now a bit too small for him, as it was made for the Bubbles that hadn't evolved. Bubbles felt stronger, and with the good amount of sleep he got, more energized. Bubbles wanted to test what he could do now, he decided while fidgeting with his own Frubbles. At least he still had Frubbles. He quickly got up and jumped to the wall before the hammock almost collapsed. He climbed really fast up the mountain before sitting on the top of the mountain, which was flat.

Cosmo got up and saw Bubbles, now a Frogadier, only fuled the rage in his heart and decided to throw more rocks, makinh more noise in doing so. "WHY DOES EVERYONE ELSE GET TO EVOLVE BUT COSMO?" Cosmo then lost all of his anger and began to cry, "Cosmo is too weak, Cosmo will not survive."

 

[FroakiesFrubbles]

Bubbles heard the Bulbasaur, and jumped a little. He had evolved, but still had the mentality of the pre-evolved Froakie he was before. "Hello, there, what's going-" Bubbles then noticed that the Bulbasaur was crying. "What's going on, are you okay?"

 

[sSoul]

Cosmo then turned to the Bubbles and told him, "Cosmo is too weak for this, Cosmo won't survive, Cosmo won't evolve, Cosmo is just a liability, just leave Cosmo behind." He then walked backwards a little only to run and jump of the side of the mountain. He was hoping to fall and die, ending his pitiful existence and weakness from harming anyone else.

 

[FroakiesFrubbles]

"No, no, not at all-" Bubbles then noticed Cosmo jumping off the cliff. He felt a wave of adrenaline hit him as he quickly tried to do something so save him. He realized that he was stronger, and he too jumped of the side of the mountain, hoping to catch Cosmo mid-air so that he could land safely. He reached out for Cosmo and got a hold of him before landing safely. "You shouldn't do that, you scared me!" Bubbles warned, yet he couldn't stay mad and smiled. "If you didn't have a purpose, I wouldn't have saved you."

 

[sSoul]

Cosmo frowned and looked at the ground, "Bit what is Cosmo's purpose, Cosmo can't even kill himself correctly, what does Cosmo contrbute to the world?" He felt bad for making Bubbles scared, but he also was happy that he didn't let him die like that, it made him feel safe.

 

[FroakiesFrubbles]

"Oh... uhh...." The Frogadier thought about it. "Maybe this Bulbasaur is right. Nope, nope, nope..." Bubbles didn't know what to say. "Well that's not what you should think about it all the time. Just live life as it is." Bubbles responded. "Hey, did something happen to you?" Bubbles knew that maybe finding out what is causing Cosmo's depression will help to cheer him up.

Cosmo had a flashback to what happened that caused his depression, the night when his life was ruined.
--Begin Flashback(Flackback if anyone gets it)--
Back then, Cosmo didn't have such depression, he had a family, a Mother Venusaur and a father Meganium, he even had an Ivysaur brother, Astro. His parents were very interested in outer space for that is why they gave their children the names Astro and Cosmo. One day, his mother sent him out on a errand, unfortunately, this was the same day that the Tsunami took place. Long story short, his parents drowned and his brother is either missing or dead. This event traumatized young Cosmo but most importantly, he lost all hope of finding his br9ther and knew there was nothing he could do about it. He fell in a spiral of depression and his eyes lost all color due to shock. And that is how he became the Cosmo you know today.

Cosmo began to cry even more and shouted at Bubbles, "Enjoy life? HOW CAN COSMO ENJOY LIFE IF ALL OF HIS LOVED ONES ARE DEAD?!?!" Cosmo stormed off, hoping the Frogadier would not follow him.

(You named him Cosmo! I like space too, but I always type in Cosmos instead of Cosmo for some reason.)

Bubbles followed Cosmo anyway. "Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that." Bubbles understood Cosmo a bit more, even though he only yelled out two sentences. Bubbles sighed. The Frogadier took some Frubbles and threw them at Cosmo's feet so he could not run away. "I had a lot of siblings. I can't even really remember how many. We played in lake about everyday under the watchful eye of our parents. Then this disease came a long. Everyone got sick, I did too. I survived, but none of my siblings did. My parents were in a worse and worse condition, and then I was taken away to become a starter Pokemon. I was just ripped away from whatever was left of my family. I understand how you feel." Bubbles understood Cosmo's depression now. He had suffered through depression before, but he cheered up when he met his trainer.

Beep slowly woke up from the evolution-induced slumber. He yawned, and realized he finally got a chance to get a good look at himself. First, his hands. Hands? Pffft, more like sharp leaves. Beep couldn't even get past his new hands until he heard ruckus on the mountain. Beep sighed and got right into action. He noticed a slight updraft, which would give him an extra foot or so in a jump. Beep tried to do something epic and stab the rock face to climb, but that didn't work. Suddenly, the ruckus stopped. Beep looked towards the top and heard the sound of something hitting the ground. Oh, crap! Cosmo! Beep stepped back and ran towards the cliff. He shot some string towards the top, ran up the cliff, and before he lost velocity, he undid the leafglider, sending him up to the top. Beep ran over to the other edge and peeked over. Bubbles was talking to Cosmo about something. "Is everything alright?" Beep yelled. Back by the hammocks, a note was left for Tama and Cece about where he was.

Cosmo told Beep in response, "Nothing is okay, Cosmo's loved ones are dead. Cosmo can't do anything about that, Cosmo is sad." The Bulbasaur tried forcing evolution once more, only to hurt himself trying, he then told Beep, "Cosmo is too weak to evolve, Cosmo is too weak to be useful, Cosmo feels useless." He then started to cry and fell flat on his face.

 

[FroakiesFrubbles]

"Well, don't force evolution, evolution comes when evolution thinks you are ready. "Yeah, beep, everything is fine down here!" Bubbles yelled up. "Oh, don't cry, you aren't useless..."

 

[sSoul]

Cosmo wiped his tears, his colorless eyes staring into Bubbles's very soul as if begging for the truth, "Do you really mean it? But how can Cosmo be useful?" Cosmo didn't look as sad, in fact, it was the happiest that he had ever been in a long time due to his depression after the Tsunami.

 

[FroakiesFrubbles]

"I do really mean it. You can be useful in too many ways to describe." Bubbles responded. "If you want to be useful anyways, sitting around and complaining won't get you anywhere." Bubbles had fought his depression by training with his new trainer. He enjoyed it, and it took his mind away from the sadness.

 

[sSoul]

Cosmo smiled and picked himself up, a new spark of determination now in his usual colorless eyes, "Okay, Cosmo will become stronger, Cosmo will overcome depression!" He then ran off before realizing that he had no idea where he was going and instead turned around and asked his friend, "Where to now?"

 

[FroakiesFrubbles]

"We just got off that mountain, so let's keep going, remember our original mission?" Bubbles said. "Wait, hold on, I can go a lot faster now." Bubbles picked up Cosmo, and started to see how fast he could go. They had reached another mountain with the sun still high in the sky when Bubbles had to stop to rest. Breathing heavily he said, "I... didn't know I could go that fast."

 

[sSoul]

Cosmo opened his mouth to scream but no words came out. After catching his breath from a panic attack, he finally told Bubbles, "You really are fast, Cosmo barely had time to react." He still kept the same determined spark in his eyes, only if was blue now, similair to when he tried to force his evolution. The Bulbasaur felt estactic, as if he could take on the world, but that wasn't going to get him any evolution, only training could.

Beep watched Bubbles and Cosmo talk about stuff, before Bubbles scooped Cosmo up and sprinted in the direction they were originally going. "Wait-" Beep tried to interrupt, but they were already long gone. Beep wanted to chase after them, but he couldn't leave the girls behind. He sighed, and went back to camp. He scooped up Tama and Cece, climbed back up, and went over. He couldn't exactly use the glider carrying the girls, so he put the leaf on the ground, and slid down. Beep saw another mountain in the distance, so he assumed Bubbles would stop there. He trotted through the jungle in the morning light, trying his best not to disturb the peace.

 

[FroakiesFrubbles]

The tired Frogadier noticed Beep in the distance carrying the girls. "Over here!" He was still out of breath. "I see you." Bubbles put Cosmos down. "Good morning." He said to Beep as Beep got closer.

 

[BeepLettuceBee]

"Morning." Beep replied as he approached. "I see you've evolved. Good job." He said, sewing something out of a leaf. "I don't think I'll be able to climb this one, so can we go around this time?" He asked. Beep was sewing as much as he fidgeted. Maybe it was the new fidgeting. If that's the case, I'm gonna have to start selling things.

 

[FroakiesFrubbles]

Bubbles blushed a bit. "Thanks." Bubbles's breathing was back to normal as he was energized again. "I think I can climb up this one." Bubbles wanted to show off a bit. He started climbing, but instead of the climbing he did yesterday, he basically jumped up the cliff. After a little bit, he reached the top. "I think you should go around this one." He yelled down, as the cliff was a bit slippery.

 

[sSoul]

Cosmo ran after Bubbles and waved to Beep, hoping that the determined spark in his eye would be noticed by the Levanny. "So what route are we going to take to get around this mountain?" He felt excited to get going on this mountain journey and hopefully evolve.

 

[FroakiesFrubbles]

Bubbles had to rest at the top of the mountain. It's like a powerup that has a cool down... Bubbles could go really fast, but then he had to stop for a while. He thought he might as well go around the mountain with the others to keep them company. He walked over to the side of the mountain, and looked down. The mountain was smaller than the one before, but from the top he had a chance to look at the island better. He didn't see any houses, but he did see something in the distance. It was far, far away. It was orangey, and had black stuff coming out of it. Fire! It must be fire!

Bubbles started to climb down the side to meet up with Beep and Cosmo. He quickly climbed down, and saw them walking around the mountain. He walked over to them. "Hello again. I think I saw fire in the distance. Maybe that's a camp fire, or some other kind of sign that there is people over there!" Bubbles pointed off into the distance. "I'll stop running off now, I'll stick with you guys."

 

[BeepLettuceBee]

"I, uh, I'm just gonna go around the mountain. Not really... one... plan." Beep replied, and Bubbles hopped down. "Ooh, love me some fire." Beep replied half-sarcastically. Walking was way easier with actual legs, he noticed. Beep was finished with the sling, so he put it on and attached Tama to it. Now he had one free arm. "So, Cosmo. How're you gonna evolve? It seems like you're pretty close, with that blue stuff in your eye."

 

[sSoul]

"Cosmo wants to check put the fire, follow Cosmo if you want." The Bulbasaur then went over in the direction of the fire, whatever it was, he was due what he was coming out evolved. "Cosmo is going into the fire, that's how!"

 

[FroakiesFrubbles]

"Uhhh, I don't think walking into fire will do any sort of good." Bubbles replied. "Evolution probably doesn't work like that. But, the fire probably means that there is a group of people on this island, and finding them was our goal, so let's head over there anyways." Bubbles looked over in the direction of the fire, which looked slightly bigger. Strange.

 

[sSoul]

"Not like that, Cosmo means that Cosmo is going to the fire and if anyone that wants to fight Cosmo is there, than Cosmo will fight." He then ran to the fire and wondered if Bubbles or Beep were going to come after him.

 

[FroakiesFrubbles]

Bubbles quickly caught up to Cosmo without that much effort. "Hey, don't go running off without us!" Bubbles then started going faster. "But don't get left behind!" He teased as he ran. He got closer to the fire when he stopped, his eyes wide. This was no campfire. It was a wall of fire, a wild-fire, that was now chasing after him. He ran back to Cosmo. "This is a wildfire, stop!" Bubbles pointed to the fire that was inching towards them.

 

[BeepLettuceBee]

Beep watched the two speed ahead of him. He sighed, and picked up the pace. On the way there, he started to get hot. Hot enough to catch fire. He gasped as he caught up with the two. "That's, that's some. some fire." Beep said, looking into the heart of the flames. "I recommend we get back on that mountain, and wait out the fire."

 

[sSoul]

"Cosmo has to do this," The Bulbasuar told him, his eyes flaring with the blue sparks, "Cosmo must save this forest!" Blue sparks began to swirl around him as he used his vines in a attempt to fend of the fire. That only fanned it and in a last ditch effort, he used his blue sparks in an attempt to absorb the fire.

 

[FroakiesFrubbles]

Being the only water type, he took the lead. "I got this." He then charged up and blasted a water pulse at the fire, which put some of it out. He kept doing that until he could no longer do it. The fire had been mostly put out. The fire had reduced the jungle into ashes. "This fire was harsh..."

 

[sSoul]

Cosmo felt like he was burning, only to find out that he was. But the fire was blue, similar to the sparks, he then told Bubbles, "Cosmo don't think this is normal." He was trying not to panic but that was very difficult as part if him was in fire. Even though it was burning, he felr good, like the fire was supposed to be there.

 

[FroakiesFrubbles]

Bubbles noticed that Cosmo was on fire, so he quickly used water pulse again to put it out. "That was close. Look at the jungle now, definitely no-one lives here, and if they did, well, you know." Bubbles wanted to find out what happened.

Tams had fallen back quite a bit, due to easy fatigue- and her nervousness meant she stayed quiet, pretty much the whole time. She decided to hop up to Bubbles' side, and talk to him, since she'd been quiet for a little while. "Um... Tama wanted to say, Tama thinks you look very nice..." she said the the Frogadier. He did look quite handsome, evolved.

 

[sSoul]

Cosmo waved at Tama before his entire body consisted into a blue flame, remarking, "Cosmo thinks that this is the perfect time to FREAK OUT!!!!" The Bulbasaur then ran around like a headless chicken screaming, "GET IT OFF, GET IT OFF!!" Cosmo finally calmed down when he stopped and felt a kind of tingling that was happening, but it was slow.

Bubbles blushed a bit. "Thanks, tama." Bubbles then turned to Cosmo, who happened to be covered in blue flame. Bubbles wasn't really sure what was happening, but it looked like fire, so he used water pulse again to attempt to put out what looked like fire. Bubbles then looked at Tama, who was now a lot smaller than Bubbles. Bubbles continued walking.
