I wish to borrow someone's shiny Hitmonchan (It has to be male) for breeding. I am trying to get a Shiny Riolu egg in the process and I will Give the Hitmonchan back to its rightful owner.

No it doesn't...

He wanted to breed a Hitmonchan with a Lucario to get riolu, so he was pretty well implying that he wanted a male anyway...
