Sootpaw fell over. He gingerly felt the spot where Sugarpaw's claws hit. He got up and angrily leaped on Sugarpaw's back and pinned her to the ground.

 

[Dootletail]

Sugarpaw started to wiggle,trying to unbalance Sootpaw and claw him.She tossed and she turned until she knocked Sootpaw off.

 

[Splashfur]

Sootpaw fell off of Sugarpaw. "Why in the name of StarClan are you clawing me?!" He hissed.

 

[Dootletail]

"Sorry!"Sugarpaw hissed back,she backed up."I'm done fighting."She meowed."Hungry?"Sugarpaw asked.

 

[Splashfur]

Sootpaw nodded. He grabbed a big rabbit from the fresh-kill pile and went back to Sugarpaw. "Want to share?" He asked.

 

[Dootletail]

"Sure."Sugarpaw nodded and sat down next to the rabbit and took a bite,as she swallowed it,she asked curiously:"Who caught this?"

 

[Splashfur]

Sootpaw shrugged. "I don't really know. One of the warriors, maybe." He took a bite.

 

[Dootletail]

Sugarpaw shrugged."Meh,it doesn't really matter.Just asking."She said,then she looked up at the sky and realized it was getting dark quickly.

 

[Splashfur]

Sootpaw finished his half of the rabbit and licked his whiskers clean. He looked up and saw the first few bits of silverpelt appearing.

 

[Dootletail]

Sugarpaw sighed,"I'm tried....I guess it's time to go into the apprentices den."She shrugged,"Or maybe later."

 

[Splashfur]

"It looks like it silverpelt is coming out. It probably is time to go back to the apprentice's den." Sootpaw meowed.

 

[Dootletail]

"Well then,let's go."Sugarpaw walked over to the apprentice's den and curled up in a nest happily,but her eyes were still open.

 

[Splashfur]

Sootpaw curled up in a nest next to Sugarpaw's in the apprentice's den. He yawned and fell asleep.

 

[Dootletail]

Sugarpaw blushed faintly."Good night,Sootpaw."She whispered,and Sugarpaw smiled and finally managed to sleep.

Sootpaw woke up in the apprentice's den and yawned. He blinked and walked out of the den. He sat down next to the fresh-kill pile and started eating a vole.

Sugarpaw woke up moments after him,she yawned and blinked sleep from her eyes before she made her way toward the fresh-kill pile."Good morning,Sootpaw."She greeted.

 

[Splashfur]

"Good morning, Sugarpaw!" Sootpaw mewed. He blushed slightly. He hoped no one would notice.

 

[Dootletail]

Sugarpaw took a mouse form the fresh-kill pile and sat next to Sootpaw and ate it slowly."Do you have any plans for today?"She asked him.

 

[Splashfur]

Sootpaw shrugged. "Not yet!" He mewed. He finished eating his vole anc licked his whiskers clean.

 

[Dootletail]

Sugarpaw shrugged."Me neither,I think I'm going on a patrol today though."She thought,"I dunno.I'll just have to wait."

 

[Splashfur]

A patrol, huh? I wonder if I can join. Probably not, though. "Do you think I can go on the patrol, too?" Sootpaw asked.

 

[Dootletail]

"Your gonna have to ask Firestar."Sugarpaw said biting into her mouse,"Or Speedbreeze,He's clan deputy."She explained.

 

[Splashfur]

Sootpaw nodded. "Okay. I'll go do that, right now." He got up and ran over to Speedbreeze. "Speedbreeze, may I join the patrol?" He asked politely.

 

[Dootletail]

Sugarpaw followed behind Sootpaw bug stayed silent,she then looked around then tapped Sootpaw with her tail-tip."Can I visit Stillpaw real quick?"

 

[Splashfur]

Sootpaw nodded. "That's fine with me." He turned back to Speedbreeze. "So, what do you say?"

Sugarpaw nodded and padded into the medicine cat den,where Stillpaw was sorting herbs.
"Hi!"Sugarpaw mewed happily,walking up to Stillpaw nuzzling her.
"Hi."Stillpaw greeted,not looking at her at her old friend."Do you know how Ghostpaw's doin'?"
"No.I haven't seen him in awhile.Do you want me to find him for you?"
"That would be great."
Sugarpaw nodded and walked outside."Ghostpaw!Ghostpaw!"She called.

Speedbreeze nodded.

Ghostpaw turned around. "Huh? Yeah? What is it?" He asked, turning to Sugarpaw.

 

[Splashfur]

"Yay! Thanks, Speedbreeze!" Sootpaw mewed. He bounded over to Sugarpaw and Ghostpaw, and stood nearby waiting for them to finish.

 

[Dootletail]

"Stillpaw's been looking for you."Sugarpaw replied,glancing at the medicine cat den,"Stillpaw!I found Ghostpaw!And oh hi Sootpaw!"
Stillpaw padded out of the medicine cat den and stood with the group of apprentices."Thanks Sugarpaw!"She mewed happily and turned to Ghostpaw.

 

[Tamazarokon]

"Hey Stillpaw," Ghostpaw said. "What's up?" Ghostpaw flicked his tail. He tilted his head.

 

[Dootletail]

"Nothing much."Stillpaw replied with an awkward tone."You?"The she-cat's tail-tip started to fidget,and her whiskers started twitching.

 

[Splashfur]

"Hi, Sugarpaw. Good news! Speedbreeze said I could go on the patrol!" Sootpaw mewed happily. He grinned at Sugarpaw.

 

[Dootletail]

"That's great!"Sugarpaw started licking her chest fur and smiled."Hope nothing bad happens!"She added with a smile,and sat down.What will the clans be up to?She asked herself.

 

[Tamazarokon]

"Nothing, really," Ghostpaw responded. He flicked his tail. He looked at the ground and shuffled his feet.

 

[Dootletail]

"Do you wanna go collect herbs or something with me?Or are you busy?"Stillpaw mewed,trying to sound a bit louder.

 

[Tamazarokon]

"Uhm... Sure..?" Ghostpaw responded. He sounded unsure. He never thought he would be gathering herbs.

 

[Dootletail]

"Okay."Stillpaw blinked at Ghostpaw,heading into the forest.Hopefully he isn't still mad at me!Or maybe he is and he's trying to hide it!She exclaimed silently.

 

[Splashfur]

Sootpaw sat down too. "Ha, yeah." He shuffled his paw a bit. I can't wait for the patrol... I'll get to hang out with Sugarpaw more. He thought to himself. Oh yeah, and some warriors. He added, not wanting his thoughts to sound biased. It's this weird thing he does.
