Name: Kaleb Storm
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Appearance: Brown hair, blue eyes, 5"6
Personality: Friendly, but loud and rash
Hometown: Royal Avenue, Akala Island
Pokémon on hand: Pangoro, Charizard, Torterra
Goals/Ambitions: To become an even better trainer

Kaleb had arrived in Sinnoh after finally escaping that wretched island about six months ago. Although he hated it there, he missed all the friends he made there. He hadn't seen any of the others for a long time.

"Pangoro, I know you miss them, but this is the start of a new journey for us," he told his partner. They both missed them, especially Kaleb, but he learned to keep his chin up, and he may meet them again someday.

Kaleb had started a new journey, but he only kept three of his Pokémon from his travels on the island with him: Pangoro, Charizard, and Torterra. He left the rest at Sycamore's lab. He wanted to catch some new partners.

Name: Daniel Diaz

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Appearance: Daniel has olive skin, and auburn hair, as well as brown eyes. He wears a black jacket, with a white shirt underneath, and loose blue jeans. He also sits in a wheelchair, which is mostly silver.

Personality: Polite, and has a relaxed nature...Unless you call him inspirational. He hates that word.

Hometown: Accumula Town, Unova

Pokemon on hand: Serperior, Lopunny, Honchkrow, Mightyena, Plusle, Machoke

Goals/Ambitions: Become Top Coordinator

Daniel had arrived in Sandgem Town not long ago, and was now practicing for his first contest in the region in a park. Serperoir and Lopunny were testing a new combination move, for the appeal round.

"Lopunny, use sunny day! And Serperior, use magical leaf!"

Lopunny threw a blinding yellow sphere in the air, which shattered into glowing leaves.

Kaleb saw the trainer with the Lopunny and Serperior.

"Hey there," he said. "Always nice to see a new face. I'm Kaleb. What's your name?" His Pangoro stood behind him in case of attack.

Daniel sighed, bowing as best he could, before turning around to face the stranger. Lopunny stood behind him, like always, protectively grabbing the handlebars of his wheelchair. She hissed at the stranger, ready to dizzy-punch him into oblivion, should he try to hurt her master.

"Daniel Diaz," he said cordially, paying no heed to his overprotective rabbit nurse.

Name: Zachariah
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: Zachariah is a 6ft 5 205 lbs muscular teenage male with tan skin. He has an intimidating and ominous aura about him. He has black hair and gold eyes. He wears a black trench coat with a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and tennis shoes. He has two scars that overlap his eyes and meet at his nose. He wears a gold chain around his neck. He has a tattoo of a dragon roaring on his chest and a tribal tattoo on his back.

Personality: Zachariah is a cold, unforgiving, and ruthless person. When he battles he likes to feel out his opponent. All of his Pokemon are trained to withstand long and punishing battles. Zachariah's training style is to try and break his Pokemon, forcing them to battle time and time again with no rest, to the point of borderline abuse. He doesn't accept failure from his Pokemon and if they faint during battle Zachariah makes them pay. He records all of his battles and whenever he has free time he studies them, writing down notes, mostly what he needs to improve on. That being said, he cares for his Pokemon and makes sure they are well-taken care of. After a victory, he rewards his Pokemon handsomely. Zachariah is a lone wolf, preferring his own company over others. Zachariah is not just harsh but he is extremely prideful. Despite all that, he is a very honorable battler, once he knows a battle is done, he will order his Pokemon to stand down. Win, lose or draw once a battle concludes he will simply walk away to study and train, never being satisfied with his performance.

Hometown: Aether Paradise Alola

Pokemon on hand: Chimchar, Gible, Shellos, Togepi, Skorupi,

Goals/ Ambitions: To win the Sinnoh League and capture Darkrai

Zachariah was sitting on a bench eyes closed deep in thought while his Pokemon played. He was wearing an earpiece and opened them when he had a message from one of his subordinates " sir, we may have found traces of Darkrai. How should we proceed?" " Stay back for now, don't do anything for now. Just verify your leads" Zachariah said and disconnected as his old friend and former teacher Cynthia walked to him holding two ice cream cones " thank you" Zachariah said taking one and moved over so Cynthia could sit beside him

Name: Aspen Colette
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Appearance: A rather short and thin girl who stands at 5'4 and maybe 120lbs. She's just in between pale and tan, a very light olive color dotted with pale freckles around her nose and cheeks. Her eyes are large, one iris a chocolate brown and the other a pale, icy blue-green. The roots of her hair are a very dark brown, as well as her eyebrows and eyelashes, but her hair fades from the dark brown and spirals and fades into a silvery blonde. She wears a simple white tee that's mainly covered by a large, olive green bomber jacket with numerous pins nearer to the top. She wears torn, somewhat ragged black jeans, as well as black combat boots. Overall, the outfit suits her, physically and mentally. She has two tattoos (which she got illegally), one a strand of lavender, on her wrist, the other the cliche birds on her shoulder. A straight, pale line on her collarbone is rarely seen, a scar, but it's very thin and otherwise unimportant. She also wears a blackened Sharpedo tooth wrapped in copper wire that ties around her neck with a simple copper chain.
Personality: Aspen is awkward and very quiet. She's rough around the edges and not very welcoming nor accepting. She's not good with new people and stutters a lot when she's embarrassed or nervous, which is all the time. However, she's one of the people that just need time, and after a while, she becomes warm to specific people. However, to strangers, she's very cold. She's more so left-brained; analytical, efficient, hard-working, and doesn't show emotion very well. However to her companion, Kaiju the Garchomp (Kaiju meaning 'giant monster' in Japanese and very suitable for the huge Pokemon), she's about as nice as she would be to a dear friend, which she doesn't really have. It doesn't bother her, though. She enjoys solitude.
Hometown: Hoenn
Pokémon on hand: Garchomp (Signature Companion), Blaziken, & Lapras
Goals/Ambitions: To advance as a trainer.

Aspen was strolling the boardwalk, taking in the sights, the smells, the sounds. The water lapping hungrily at the yellow-white sand, the Wingulls flying overhead. The smell of salt, sweetness, buttery popcorn. Children giggling, the birds squawking at tourists. Her hands were in her pockets, Kaiju just beside her. He wasn't the happiest Pokemon, and he silently disregarded the children who frequently pointed in awe at the huge Pokemon. He chuffed silently.
"Chomp. Garchomp." he grumbled.
Aspen swatted at him to shut him up, the hint of a smirk on her face.
"Oh, hush. Just enjoy it, you big grump." she chuckled, and he huffed again. She didn't like keeping her Pokemon in Pokeballs, especially not her main partner, so he walked by her side, dragging his massive feet.
Kaiju was a brat, but she loved him regardless.

Zachariah in the midst of talking with Cynthia when he spotted Aspen. He noticed she had a Garchomp. He looked to see his under evolved team still playing around. They didn’t have a prayer, but perhaps his Hoenn team could

Kaleb walked over to the tall grass to catch a Pokémon, but he saw Aspen and Zachariah. He put his hand on the pokeball of Torterra in case they attacked.

Aspen, who was somehow in a good mood, noticed two people looking at her, so she tried to offer a tiny smile.
No, wait.
Not at her.
At Kaiju, who did not attempt a smile of any sorts, and instead snarled. She slapped the Garchomp at his chest again.
"Stop that," she snapped with a clenched jaw. He huffed again. She merely chucked.
( Rip short reply.. :w;]

Kaleb smiled and walked over to Aspen.

"Hey there," he said. "My name's Kaleb, what's yours?" he asked, clutching at Torterra's ball in case of hostility.

Zachariah narrowed his eyes at the Garchomp " Oh? You snarl at me? Amusing, adorable really" he said not being intimidated at all by the dragon Pokemon. He knew how they could be, he had a few himself from his journey in the Hoenn region." His Pokemon stopped what they were doing and formed a line in front of Zachariah making rude gestures towards the Garchomp " enough" Zachariah told them

Name: Isaac
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: About 6' 1" Tan Skin a good build/ broad shoulders with Green Shorts and White Shoes with Short Brown Hair
Personality: Friendly unless someone is annoying or rude mostly polite.
Hometown: Laverre City in Kalos
Pokémon on hand: Chandelure, Noivern, Shiny Salazzle, Dodrio, Empoleon, and Crobat.
Goals/Ambitions: To become an amazing pokemon trainer and meet new people along the way.

Isaac was riding his Dodrio when he saw a girl and her Garchomp along with three other boys. He wanted to run up and say hello, but at the sight of that Garchomp he decided against it. Instead he just strolled up to them and greeted them silently. The Garchomp still didn't look pleased and neither did the boy with the scars.

Lopunny growled at the garchomp, still holding onto Daniel's wheelchair. As his service pokemon, she couldn't let any harm come to him whatsoever. She'd fight the garchomp, to defend her master, if she had to.

"Ignore my Lopunny," Daniel snorted, holding his hand up, "She's ever so overprotective of me. I know that it's her job, as my service pokemon, but she frequently over-does it."

Feeling a bit overwhelmed at the... 4? Boys around her? Not because Oh my Arceus, look at all these boys, but more so like Oh my Arceus, look at all these people. Don't say anything dumb don't say anything dumb don't say-
The girl scoffed, sharing a brief smile.
"I'm Aspen, and this is my partner, Kaiju. Ignore him, he's feeling particularly bratty today," she explained, glancing around at the many Pokemon around her and feeling a surge of some feeling. This was what she came for. The range of diversity, friends on the way, massively different people with different Pokemon, potentially bounded together.
Kaiju huffed at her when she dismissed him, but she was more so excited about studying the Pokemon around her. A Dodrio, a Lopunny (Oo! I hear those are very strong!), Pangoro, Serperior, Skorupi, Togepi, Shellos, GIble, Chimchar... and their very different owners! One looked beyond friendly, the other maybe a bit annoyed with Kaiju. The other sheepish, and another friendly. It was nice, really.

"I'm Daniel. You've met Lopunny, and next to me is my partner pokemon, Serperior," he responded, to which the green grass snake gave a haughty swish of its tail, "I'm a coordinator, here to win the grand festival."

The girl's eyes might've widened just a fraction of a centimeter- not because she was surprised, but more so impressed.
"Oh, that's amazing! I'm just a trainer looking for... adventure, you could say. Not that I'll get too much except the 'adventure' of getting Wingull dung off my clothes."
She was partially looking up at all the bird Pokemon, quickly stepping out of their 'range' when they got too close. She could live without the ominous, smelly white stain on her clothes, thank you.

"Well, you've all met my Pangoro," Kaleb said. "Here are my other two Pokémon."

He released Charizard and Torterra. Charizard saw the Garchomp and snarled back.

"Hey buddy, it's fine," Kaleb told it, and Charizard calmed down.

Aspen looked up at the Charizard, her mouth forming a little oval.
"Oh, wow, I've actually never seen one." She approached the dragon-like Pokemon warily, making eye contact with it. She knew what she was doing when it came to approaching others' Pokemon. Move slowly, speak quietly, make eye contact to let it know that you're not going to hurt it, etc.
Kaiju grumbled something in the background. "Gaaarrchomp.. Gar, Garchomp." he huffed, a way of warning the girl to step back. Kaiju wasn't the quickest to trust, and he tended to get jealous. Truth was he really did care about his partner, but the girl flashed him a reassuring look and the massive (but not quite as massive as Charizard) creature seemed to settle down a tiny bit, but proceeded to watch her intently, still tense in case something happened.
"Your Pokemon are really impressive.." she murmured, partially to herself. She shuffled around in the small black satchel at her hip, stepping back.
"I actually only have three, the rest are back home. But this is my other- Lapras is really uneasy with strangers, especially on land where she knows she's at a disadvantage, but- Blaziken, come on out." she chimed, and with a burst of white light, a burly yet skinny red Pokemon emerged.

"Well you don't have to worry about Dodrio here. She won't be excreting on you anytime soon." he said reassuringly giggling a little bit afterward. "I have other Pokemon as well but I'm afraid they aren't up for any kind of greeting at the moment." he said. "That's a nice Blaziken you have there, Aspen." he complimented.

"My Pokémon are friendly, unless they feel threatened," Kaleb said. "You can tell when Charizard is threatened. His tail flame will turn red instead of orange and he will roar loudly."

Torterra looked at the Blaziken and backed away a few steps, knowing that if they battled he had a clear disadvantage. "It's okay, bud, we're not battling right now," he said, and Torterra calmed down.

The girl smiled, her face going pink.
"Thanks! Your Dodrio is impressive, too." she grinned, brushing a strand of hair that'd flown into her face away. She stood there for a moment more, not positive what to say, her brown and blue eye studying the Pokemon around her. Despite her rough personality, she was pretty sweet to these people, which was strange. It was a miracle she hadn't stuttered.
Maybe it was just because she was in a good mood.
She wondered how it would've gone if she was upset. Brushing them away, taking Garchomp by the claw and stalking away? She was sure Kaiju would've preferred that. But, no. She was in a good mood.

"Well, here are the rest of my lot," Daniel said gruffly, pulling out his other pokeballs. Mightyena, Plusle, Machoke, and his prized shiny Honchkrow appeared, all standing at his side.

Plusle, frightened by all of the commotion, immediately snuggled into Daniel's lap. He held her gently, cradling her in his arms.

"She's only a baby, and she's quite shy," he informed them.

Zachariah had enough of all this meaningless chitchat. He wasn’t interested in this if it wasn’t going anywhere. All these trainers may be interested in being buddy buddy but to him they were his enemies and in his way of winning the Sinnoh league

Daniel glanced down at his pokegear, gasping when he realised the time. "Erm...I guess I should get back to praticing for my contest," he said sheepishly, "I have a big appeal planned for tomorrow, and I need to get it right. Serperior's still getting the hang of how to hold me up..."

His other pokemon cleared the space, before he gave his next orders to Lopunny and Serperior.

"Serperior, energy ball. Lopunny, dizzy punch!"

Serperior shot out an energy ball, before Lopunny punched it into a sparkling shower with her rainbow fist.

"Wow that looks so pretty." Isaac complimented. "I've never done a contest before but they look fun." he said. Isaac had seen a contest before in Lumiose City. It was so fun and exciting to watch the competitors and their Pokemon as they preformed. He could already think of some combinations of different moves.

Zachariah was unimpressed by the display. He didn’t care about contests, all he cared about was the Pokémon league. He had won the Hoenn League not to long ago and planned to do the same here.

"Thanks," Daniel said cordially, as his pokemon landed, "But that really wasn't much. It was just a basic move, and the real show's yet to come!"

Lopunny got back into position, waiting for her next order, along with Serperior.

"Lopunny, use heal bell, and Serperior, you use vine whip!"

Lopunny sent up a softly chiming golden bell, which cast a yellowish spotlight down on her, before Serperior snaked his vines around her waist. He lifted her, and then threw her high into the air, where she performed a graceful triple rotation.

Isaac saw someone who looked a little familiar but decided against it. The boy with the scar looked very annoyed and ticked off. He's probably having a bad day but it looks like he makes that face often. Isaac thought he could go cheer him up.
"Hi, I'm Isaac. Whats your name?" he greeted.

Zachariah narrowed his eyes at Issac. Where have I seen this boy before? He asked himself. Perhaps I’m mistaken. “ I’m not one to give away my identity to strangers. Call me Stonewall”

Daniel looked away from his pokemon temporarily, having noticed the harsh, arrogant attitude of the other guy with them. He was pretty buff, but not in the lean, dancer-like way, that Daniel's boyfriend, Kemen was.

The wheelchair user coughed discreetly, narrowing his eyes at him. "Well, that's rude," he spat, "He was only asking your name. There's no need to act like a jerk."

“ I don’t recall talking to you boy” Zachariah said to the person in the wheelchair. “ Why don’t you mind your own business? I have nothing to say to you” he said coldly. A voice sounded in his earpiece and he covered it with a hand “ I’m busy” he said speaking into it

"No it's fine. Mr. Stonewall can act as tough as he wants. I'm not afraid of him." Isaac said proudly. Isaac heard a small murmur of a voice coming from Stonewall's direction. "So, 'Stonewall' have something you wanna share with the rest of us?" he asked. If he could be rude then Isaac could be rude back.

“ It’s none of you business” Zachariah said narrowing his eyes. Again his earpiece went off “ Sir, we found someone who claims to know how to find it. Should we fly him to your location?” Zachariah spoke into his earpiece again” yes and hurry. And if this proves to be ineffective, you’re fired” he said into the earpiece

Daniel cleared his throat. "Listen, mister, I don't know what your deal is, but if you think that being a stuck-up, pretentious asshole makes you mysterious, or 'cool', then you've got another thing coming," he said coldly, "And that's no way to talk to whoever was on your earpiece! Didn't your parents teach you any manners?'

Isaac pretended to walk away then grabbed Stonewall's earpiece and listened in on it. "Dodrio, let's go!" he said. Isaac climbed upon his Pokemon and was off. "Hello?" he said into it.

“ and I don’t know you’ve continued to survive this long. How have the wilds not claimed you yet? I’ll talk to my employees how I see fit boy. I’ve never had any need for parents, didn’t your parents teach you your place? Now, while there’s nothing I’d love more than to hear your irrelevant mouth say stuff I don’t care about, I literally have a million better things to do. So get to your point or beat it.” Once his earpiece was stolen he grabbed a tablet from his pocket, entered a command in it and slipped it in his pocket. “ I’ve shut it off from here. Stealing from the Aether Foundation COO. He’ll be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Even as we speak he has been reported for theft”

"Damn." Isaac complained. The earpiece stopped working and was basically useless. Knowing that guy, he's probably coming after him right now. Either him or another friend of his will be on Isaac's tail in no time. "I'm so stupid. Why did I have to be so curious!?" he said very agitatedly.

Just then a helicopter with the Aether Foundation logo caught up to Issac and someone spoke using a megaphone” Stop right there! Do not attempt to flee!” As the helicopter started to land

"Torterra, Energy Ball!" Kaleb called out. Torterra shot an Energy Ball straight at the helicopter, damaging the propeller and knocking it out of the air, and it fell to the ground, causing a massive explosion.

"Return!" Kaleb said as he returned his three Pokémon. He ran from the fire.

Zachariah picked up his tablet when it notified him of something. “ damn it” he said angrily when he saw video surveillance of his damaged helicopter. Luckily the helicopter had video surveillance of who had attacked his helicopter “ the fool just committed a felony. I’ll be sure to show the authorities. I better get another Chopper on that kid. As for the fool with the Torterra, I hope he enjoys being hunted down like the criminal he is” he said and grabbed his phone. He entered a number and pressed the phone to his ear” it’s me now listen up”
