As Cameo caught the ball for a second time, she paused, looking first to Ash, then to the rest of the class. "Sorry, bud. Can't do that," she said to the Ninetales, tossing the toy back to her with an underhand (underpaw?) pass.
"Again, Cameo's right," said Mr. Justus, placing a mushroom-y hand on his hip(?). "You can not toss the ball to someone who's already had it. Please, Ash, try again."
From the back sounded a rather loud couple of groans. "This is sooo BORING!" complained Hosteen, throwing his hands up and dragging them down his face. "Let's just, like, do something else, please!"
Groaning along with the Hitmonlee was Lynwood, ruffling his feathers in annoyance. "Yeah! Can we please do somethin' else? I can't bear to watch this! Besides, we never get passed the ball, anyway!" hooted the Noctowl, glaring at a random student.
"You never get the ball because you never play by the rules. You know that. I've told you that just about a million times already," Mr. Justus replied, also growing annoyed. He nodded to the two in the back, who both glanced at each other, going back to doing whatever they were doing. The Amoongus teacher could not care less at the moment about them, so he allowed them to write notes, crumple them up, and throw them at each other, as long as they did not grow any louder.
Rolling her eyes, Cameo looked to Faraday for a second before returning her attention to the ball, curious to see who Ash would throw it to.
