Hello. I've been wondering for a while now how accuracy is calculated when both the ability Hustle and the Wide Lens are used. Hustle decreases the accuracy by a hard 20% (100% becomes 80%, 80% becomes 60%, and so on). The Wide Lens increases accuracy by 10% of the move's base accuracy (70% becomes 77% for example).
My question is this: How is the Wide Lens accuracy boost calculated? Say you have a move with 100% accuracy. Is it calculated like this, factoring the base accuracy of the move BEFORE Hustle (Wide Lens in parentheses):
100 - 20 + (100 X 0.1) = 90%
Or like this with the move's accuracy AFTER Hustle:
100 - 20 + (80 X 0.1) = 88%
I know the difference is pretty much negligible, but I'm still wondering. Can't find anything on the internet about the calculation order. Might be a factor for an Alolan Raticate build.
Thanks for reading.
