Kaiju files only gains counters when the kaijus are summoned from the hand or graveyard, not the deck. But besides that nothing else really changes, your attack still goes through.

@Jacksoneternal Ehhh, I don't know. Dahlia and Elizabeth haven't exactly practiced working their decks together, so Dahlia wouldn't know for sure that Elizabeth could do that. Her first instinct was to go for the monster. Even if they're Obelisk Blues, it makes sense for them to trip up over each other a little bit.
