Tsuki, During the Chunin Exams
There was a small smile that appeared on Tsuki's face as she watched her opponent desperately try to save herself. Make no mistake, there was no real joy that she had in causing her opponent any pain, but there was an indescribable catharsis that came with feeling in control of the situation. Yua had impressively attempted to kick the water clone with only one leg, but not only was her sense of balance lost, weakening the kick, but the clone still had a free hand .This resulted in the clone blocking the kick with her forearm before grabbing her thigh and continuing the creation of the prison. Though Yua had tried to pull her leg free, the clone kept a tight grip on her ankle and now with both legs in hand, the Suna kunoichi had lost all leverage.

Focusing on the chained kunai that was careening towards her, the Yuki Princess hastily backed away from the pursuing chain, nearly ending up on the ground for her efforts. Tsuki thought about approaching, but a coughing fit reminded her that she would just be needlessly endangering herself. Instead, she used the time that her clone afforded her to tend to her wounds. Before she could do anything, she had noticed a stream of blood that had been trickling down her leg for a variable amount of time. This sight made the icy kunoichi wince as if she had received the wound all over again, but she wasn't going to let that stop her. After cleaning the wound with water that she had created, she used the puddle to cover the wound and prevent any additional blood from spreading.

This should be over soon...

5 Days After the Exams
He could tell at least one person was looking at him when he entered the tent. Besides Shiho, the other person he did recognize there was Keito. It seemed like there was a representative from reach great village here. There was another leaf ninja there besides Shiho and the guy with her. This black-haired leaf ninja also had an abundant amount of chakra inside him just like the girl outside. It reminded him of someone else he knew back in the Mist, but the teen didn’t want to make such wild comparisons just yet.

There was also a young boy in the room, perhaps the son of the Prince. Judging by his expression, the kid didn’t seem to be in a great mood. He appeared quite serious, if anything. Another thing to note was that he didn’t seem bothered by the fact his possible father was currently unconscious on the floor. Careful to not to touch anything, he looked around to find what may have left to this. Eventually, his eyes caught the bottles of booze nearby and he could assume alcohol had been the cause of the Prince’s collapse. Still, this was quite the opportunity for him.

“So I’m guessing no one else wants to help him up.”

Seeing as the other ninja were either just watching him or looking down on the fallen Prince, the teen decided to take the initiative and show his usefulness. Stepping around so that his back was facing only the bed behind him, the silver-haired shinobi kneeled down and slid both of his hands underneath the large man. That seemed to be a mistake as he appeared to struggle at first. All he could was turn the man to his side. The Prince’s weight was definitely not just for show.

“Damnit.”

Cursing silently, the teen then pulled back his hands while he was behind the Prince. Swiftly, he performed four hand seals faster than someone without a dojutsu could see, perhaps to showcase his competence. After performing the Tiger, Rat, Bird, and Snake seals, in that order, he reached underneath the Prince to try again. His strength seemed to have increased from whatever jutsu he might’ve done as the ninja appeared to be doing a good job lifting the Prince up. However, that all changed when the Prince then fell back onto his back.

“Fuck!”

Cursing again, the teen suddenly found his hand bearing all the weight of the prince while they felt like there were being crushed. He did his best to pull his hands out from underneath the heavy man before falling back himself. Although this could be seen as embarrassing, the teen didn’t seem to be at all.

“Just kidding.”

Seeming to relax himself, the teen got up, grabbed one of the man’s arms, and then pulled him up. Then he sort of dragged and carried him towards the bed before lifting the Prince up onto it. Once the Prince was completely on the bed, laying on his back, the one who had carried him there let out a deep breath. He felt he’d done his part in showing he was there to support the Prince in any way can.

“Well, that’s done. Hopefully, the Prince can rest easy over there. Oh, and I’ll be the one defending him. I think we need someone actually concerned for his well-being, y’know?”

“Psst. Hey.” A hushed voice came from behind Karui. She took a second to calm her sudden spike in nerves and glanced over her shoulder, blinking in wide-eyed innocence at the taller boy behind her, the one she recognized as her scapegoat, Mikey. Oh, boy. He was slouched and fidgeting, voice held low at a conspiratorial whisper. “I- I didn’t tell you to get the groceries… right..? I’m sure that all I did—”

Karui set the dish she had been cleaning down precariously on the drying rack and turned to face him fully. She leaned forward and blinked up at him again. “But… you did, I’m sure of it,” she said back in the same tone, injecting just the right amount of confusion into her inflection. She’d eavesdropped on more than a few conversation under cover of washing an endless stream of dirty dishes, and knew names and relations well for having just entered twenty minutes ago.

“I’d heard you talking to Tian the other day, and I offered to get some, and…” her gaze darted to the floor and back up again, falling into the role she had decided was best for her charade, a well-meaning, albeit airheaded, people-pleaser. She made sure there weren’t any specifics mentioned so no one could really confirm. “You don’t remember? Am I losing my mind? Or maybe you’re losing your mind! Or— or— we’re both losing our minds— and—”

The boy’s alarmed expression was the response Karui had expected. “I’m probably just remembering wrong,” Mike said apologetically. “But it helped me out of a tough spot with the Head Chef, he was gonna fire me if I broke one more dish… but you probably heard all that on Tuesday, huh…”

Karui gave a sympathetic nod, pretending she knew what he was talking about, and began to turn back to the pile of dishes that had grown in the thirty seconds she’d been talking to him.

A gruff roar came from where the ovens were. “Who set the oven to 750?!”

Mikey jumped. “Uh, well, thanks anyway— gotta go— see you around, Sen—!” His voice faded as he retreated, panicked, and his steps were swallowed by the sound of the Head Chef’s scolding. Karui raised a hand slightly, then turned her attention back to the dishes, which had grown still bigger in those few seconds. She grabbed another dish and the sponge and began scrubbing.

Okay. Not doing too bad at blending in… and judging by Sagiso’s and Asahi’s movements, they’re not having too much difficulty either. She could pick out their specific chakra signatures even without her antennae, though her accuracy took a hit without the extra sensory input. But judging by how there had been no alarm set off, she assumed the blending in bit was working.

Realizing she’d become lost in thought, Karui scrubbed vigorously at a stain on the plate she was holding and reached for another.

Yua cursed as somehow this clone managed to grab both her legs and indeed now struggled with momentum, as she had no way to kick her way to freedom, but on the other hand the clone now had no way to defend itself. While the clone had been busy dealing with her kicks, she quickly had pulled a shuriken and right as she caught the kick she attempted to pop this clone with a toss to its side. If she could get the shot before this clone's body could finish coating her in water, she may have had a chance to avoid this fate. Even at her awkward angle, even as water began to spill out of the clone on this chained command Yua still attempted to grapple out of this mess. But prepared herself in case she could not.
"This ain't great, if I can't pop her here I am gonna be stuck. In that case, I may only have one option left..."

Yua already pulled her hands together the moment that she had tossed the shuriken and worked to move her hands together. This of course would pull the kunai with string closer to her in the event the shuriken failed and the water surrounded here. But Yua aimed to make the most of this moment, as she shifted her hands to the trademark sign of her clan. Movement would be limited if the Water Prison was released, even this basic hand sign would be difficult to make but she needed one motion and with her hands already brought together she felt she had the grit to form it. Either the shuriken would connect to free herself from the clone's grip, or she'd have to prepare for plan B as she eyed the real Tsuki who seemed to feel more of the poison's effect as the match went along.
"A clone, any clone is only as strong as their user. And given Tsuki's condition, her clone may not have as long a shelf life..."

Land of Hot Water | (Sept 30 , 5 Days after the Exams)
Titled Name: Yan Xia Roulan
True Name: Sagisō Ajisai
Rank 36 — Heavenly Skillful Star | Yan Qing

]
With stealth in mind, Sagisō had taken the form of a small, squirrel-like animal she’d spotted among the circus troop. It was a simple task to kill and replace one of the small creatures while their handler had been sufficiently distracted. Once she was in the tent she quickly ditched her ‘handler’, scampering through the circus crowd, ears perked for information.

The circus’ plans, and indirectly those of the Prince, came much more readily than she’d expected: the troupe talked freely about their concerns as they organized the dismantlement of the tent because as fate would have it, the last circus show had been yesterday. Today they were to set out with the Prince for their new home, the land of Moon. The Prince had been waiting for his new escort of shinobi who were to arrive today and would replace the guards the Prince had abused into quitting. The Prince was quite the character it seemed.

‘Shinobi Guards huh...’

Although Sagisō could’ve guessed as much upon seeing the two who were gawking at the tent earlier, hile the troupe had been lamenting the Prince’s wasteful spending they’d alerted her to crucial detail that’d caused the Skillful Star to re-assess the whole plan. The Prince had hired not one, but multiple shinobi forces as his escort.

Sneaking out of the tent, Sagisō scampered into an alley-way and released her transformation. She cast a thoughtful gaze towards the Prince’s cohort and settle down to think.

From what she’d had gathered at the info broker, travel to the land of Moon required a lengthy journey by ship. With all the things the Prince was carrying the ship he was taking had to be a large one and a large ship meant a large port. She was intimately familiar with the varied ways a ship could get wrecked in shallow waters or ports; after all, ‘ship wreck’ had been the number one cause of ‘visitors’ on their prison island...

Blinking away memories, Sagisō refocused. She would need to find a decent map of the Land of Water and its major port cities, it was likely that the Prince’s caravan would be traveling to one of those port cities capable of harboring such a large vessel.

If that were the case then there were two ideal points of attack: the first would be to assault the caravan during the ride between cities and the second would be to attack them at sea. As a water-release user herself, Sagisō favored the latter, but if the Prince had hired shinobi guards then the advantage would be lost if the other party happened to have more water release users; and, given the Prince had hired quite a number of shinobi, that seemed all but guaranteed. Furthermore, an assault on the ocean would require the procurement of a boat...which was troublesome, but not impossible and they’d need to get a boat a some point either way.

As for continued stealth...? Given the results of their last ‘stealth’ mission in enemy territory, Sagisō decisively scrapped the idea. Trying to lurk beneath the noses of their enemies could be more trouble than it was worth...besides, they were much better at fighting than hiding.

...

A few minutes later Sagisō was walking through the streets, keeping an eye out until she found—“Megami.”

As she approached Sagisō lowered her voice, “Change of plans, I need you to find Kogane, now.”

Asahi stopped half cartwheel, standing on her hands as her sister approached her. She blinked twice and looked up at her sister, trying not to laugh, since Sagiso looked funny from that view. "I can't!" She switched to her left hand. "My shift's not over yet. The boss is going to get mad if I leave early on the first day."

Kas rolled her eyes and walked up to Asahi, looking her in the eyes thanks to the jinchuriki's position. "Hey, focus on the mission! I'll cover for you, do what your sister says. You can come back to work when we're done, okay?"

Asahi looked at Kas, then at her sister's chin and then back at Kas. "Fine." She jumped on to her feet. "Fine the cool sister? Yeah, I can do that." She held up her right index finger to her face, activating her Byakugan. "Done, she is back that way." She pointed in the direction of the inn. "Hey that's weird, I swear I saw some of these people back in the Leaf." She looked in the direction of the circus tent. "Kas, be careful, I think-oh! She left..."

Kas moved through the crowd, making her way to an alley, where she found herself alone. "I can't believe I'm doing this." Kas joined her hands together and in a puff, she transformed into Asahi, looking exactly like her, even the makeup. "Come to the circus!" She cried out as she skipped out of the alley and began skipping towards the tent. "Candy and fun! Come to our show!" I hate this...

As soon as they made their way into the tent, the first thing to catch Shura's attention was how much of a mess the entire inside space was. Combine that with the previous guards celebrating their dismissal and the sight of the prince they were employed to work for fall asleep mid sentence, a clear picture began forming in the young man's head. "Looks like we have quite the mission ahead of us." He mumbled.

While her brother analyzed the situation and took in what exactly they signed up for, Shiho's eyes fell on a familiar face that she hasn't seen in some time. "Hey! Keito right? I haven't seen you since the start of the Chunin exams." She yelled out.

“Aye, aye, Captain.”

The Mist ninja said, teasingly acknowledging the commands of Keito with some mirth in his voice. He had to admit the plan was pretty solid. With the Prince unconscious inside, all they had to do was guard. With the Hyūga, they could easily use their byakugan to keep a look out. Meanwhile, there would be some others keeping a perimeter around the tent as a first line of defense. Then one person would remain inside just in case someone got through. Fortunately, his plan was already set in motion and there wasn’t anything they could do to stop it, even with this decent setup.

“Well, I guess I’ll go have fun with the girl outside. See ya.”

With a wink, the silver-haired ninja casually strolled outside to find the red head standing guard right outside the tent and stood on the opposite side of the entrance. He had wanted to talk to Shiho about something, preferably about her byakugan, but since they were going to be split up, that wouldn’t be possible. All he could now do was hope for the best and take advantage of the opportunity he did have. That was figuring out the secret of this cloud ninja. After allowing a breath of silence to pass between them, he spoke.

“Hey, what’s your name?”

@Cmeriwether

"So, are you the one calling the shots here?" Shura commented upon hearing Keito begin throwing around orders to each member of the crew gathered for the mission. "I don't really mind either way, your plan isn't a bad one." He added. The Hyuga then put a hand on his chin. "Hmm, but who should be the one to stay close? I'm faster than Shiho so it would be logical for me to stay at a closer point the one we're supposed to protect so actions can be taken quicker, however I fear Shiho will easily lose sight of her mission if I let her wander around on her own. When it comes to pursuits, I am better suited for that job as well if it comes down to it." Shura thought to himself, trying to decide what the best course of action would be.

"Shiho has more charkra than me so she'll also be able to keep her Byakugan up for a longer period of time, therefore she'll be able to be the lookout for longer. I guess I also don't have to stray too far out into the crowd and I can run back if anything happens." With some more consideration, Shura came to a conclusion. "Hey Shiho, would you mind staying near the tent here and keep an eye out for anything that looks suspicious? I think it a job that'll fit you." He declared.

Shiho was still waving towards Keito when her brother's words suddenly reached her, causing her to turn towards him. With a bright smile, the young Hyuga girl gave her brother a thumbs up. "Alright I got it, you can count on me bro."

With that settled, Shura began walking out of the tent. "You'll be out patrolling with me is that right captain? I'll be waiting for you outside." He said, addressing Keito who seemed to have become their little squad's acting captain.

The Leaf? Well, that wasn’t the most surprising thing. A crafty look passed through Sagisō’s eyes. “Do you see any Hyūga? Tell me exactly where Karui is and then see if you can bait them into attacking you...we should be there before the fight starts. Remember, don’t throw the first blow—or any blows—just dodge.”

This might be an opportunity to ‘kill with a borrowed knife,’ and failing that, a confrontation, even a cold one, could provide a wealth of information.

Ayaka Ushikai, Land of Hot Water, Sept 30 (Five days after Exams)

Ayaka had noticed a stone Shinobi run up, as the Leaf and Sand Ninja were told to head off, not sure if they heard their orders, as she figured she was waiting for her orders, as she was trying to figure out where she'd end up when two more Leaf Ninja had been looking around the area. She was getting a bit impatient, so to rest her growing boredom, she turned to the Stone Ninja that just arrived, who walked into the tent, she then waited for someone, then an unknown ninja walked up, at first. Ayaka then spotted the ninja's forehead protector on the ninja's arm, he was a Mist Ninja.

"Ayaka Ushikai, of the Hidden Cloud." Ayaka responded, "and your name?"

Ayaka was a bit nervous, the only people she talked to before this were Taji and Kenji. She knew that the Mist didn't do much when it came to missions, that she knew of. She figured she was either being insulted or right she where was needed.

Kaito looked at the two newcomers and began to intensely stare at them while scratching his head.

Where have I seen those eyes before I know I’ve seen them in the hidden leaf but where?

He puts his finger on the temple of his head and began to think a little bit harder. Once it finally clicks in his head he snaps his fingers and points at the two hyuga’s.

“You guys are from the hyuga clan right? I’m Kaito Watanabe, it’s nice to meet you. It’s great that I’m not the only leaf shinobi here.”

Kaito puts his hand outward for a handshake while give a friendly smile.

Hearing an sudden introduction, Shura halted his march for a second to look back. What he saw was a young man who stated that he too was from the hidden leaf. "Hey." He offered the boy a small wave before continuing his path outside the tent.

His sister, however, was much more welcoming as she eagerly grabbed the hand Kaito offered. "Hey its nice to meet you, I'm Shiho and that's my brother Shura. As you have guessed, we are from the Hyuga clan." She cheerily exclaimed. "Don't mind my big bro, he simply takes his missions very seriously." The girl explained. After her greetings were done, Shiho also looked towards the exit of the tent. "Well I guess I should be getting into position as well."

Asahi lifted one eyebrow. Sagiso wanted her to actually go towards the possible enemies? It was odd, but her sister always had good plans. With a shrug she once again pointed in the direction of the inn. "That way is Cutiepie, lower floor by the looks of it, she's been standing in the same spot for a while, she's washing clothes or something."

The young shinobi put on a smile before turning around and walking towards the circus. "Hurry up!" She shouted that last comment and took of skipping towards said location.

Kas on the other hand was already carrying a stack of new flyers and was heading back, when she noticed the gathered ninjas outside the tent. It was probably something important to report the rest of the Hasa group, but it would help if she could gather what villages they represented first. She would get a closer look, then hide to undo her transformation and report back to the girls, easy.

"Welcome to the circus! Don't recognize you all from before, my names is Megami, I'm kinda new here. You all look like shinobi, working for the prince or something?" Kas walked up to the two standing at the entrance and then gulped when she saw the Hyuga step out. "Oh, there's more of you. Hello hello..." Her heart sank when she heard a too familiar voice behind her.

"Well well look what cat dragged in, meow!" Asahi cartwheeled into the scene, landing next to Kas. "Hi! I'm Sparkling Sparkles, but you can just call me Sparkling Sparkles." She smiled and spread her arms open, her eyes set on the Hyuga. "Will you guys be in tonight's show? I could use some help for my act, which still hasn't been approved but it will after the great work I did today."

Kas stood there with her mouth opened in shock. She didn't understand why Asahi was just walking up to these people, but maybe if she followed the act, they wouldn't get too suspicious.
"Ah yes, my sister...Sparkling Sparkles..." She tried to maintain a straight face. "She's a clown like me-"

"Cat clown!"

"Sorry, Cat clown, like me." Kas shot a mean look at her partner.

Asahi held her arms up. "Isn't the circus awesome? Meow!"

Walking out of the tent, Shura was met with someone who appeared to be one of the circus performers inquiring about why the hired ninjas were here. "You don't have to worry about us, we were hired for a mission. It shouldn't be of any concerns to circus workers like you." He explained, holding a hand out in front of him. "Of course, that is unless it does become a bother to you. If that is the case, feel free to let us know." He added in a cold emotionless tone, the Hyuga's eyes locking onto Kas after the clown appeared to fidget slightly when he walked out.

It wasn't long when this other performer proclaiming to be called Sparkling Sparkles rolled up. He silently watched the clown's act in silence when Keito walked out from tent as well. With a quick glance, Shura noticed the Iwa shinobi's gesture and responded with a subtle nod. The young man then took a step to the side, observing the odd duo from a slightly different angle.

Lin looked at Keito confused wondering why he was telling her to go outside. It was the prince who was supposed to give orders.

"Technically my skills as a puppet ninja would be better suited here" Lin said clicking her fingers. Lin thinking her puppets would be able to help protect the prince from multiple sides, and partially her not wanting to stand outside. Lin was hoping the Prince side with her though she had her doubts. Lin narrowed her eyes pondering, "Who is this stone ninja anyways? Giving orders like that. Strategy or not, it's not like he's the group leader or anything... I think...?" Lin thought to herself. Being pessimistic, she looked outside, and expected the worst.

Not wanting to make a big deal out of the situation Lin headed out the side then towards the front. She could head back towards the side and rear in a lil bit. At the moment, Lin noticed the clown talking to the two Hyuga ninjas.

"Clown, huh? Got any jokes? Lin said clicking her clicking her fingers again.

"Looks like you two have the front covered" Lin said looking at the two Hyuga ninjas.

"yeah, some cool trick or something!" Lin said agreeing with Keito.

Asahi placed her hands on her hips. "Well we could do just a small sample, don't want to ruing the entire show!" She extended her hands towards Kas and shook her hands. "My beautiful sister will now make butterflies come out of my mouth!"

Kas groaned, but she got the idea. "Don't blink or you might miss, these butterflies coming out of my sis!"

Asahi opened her mouth and hundreds of differently colored butterflies flew out of it. They flew upwards and disappeared into the sky. Asahi followed the act by doing a cartwheel and standing behind Kas.

"Now blue petals!"

From behind the two performers, blue petals began to swirl around the two.

"Now, my sister will disappear!" Asahi smashed a smoke bomb on the ground, gray smoke covering the two of them.

By the time the smoke cleared, which was in a few seconds, only Asahi was standing there alone. "Ta-da! Of course it will include more flips and stuff once we have a bigger stage." She bowed lightly. "Please hold your applause for the real show."

Kas, back in her normal form, sat on a barrel a few feet away, picking her teeth with her claw and watching the group. She was relieved to have been released from her transformation and now she could focus on taking care of Sparking Sparkles while the other Hasa girls arrived.

“I’m-“

Before the silver-haired teen could respond to Ayaka and give her his name, they were cruelly interrupted by some clowns that decided to swing by. The Mist ninja was a bit irritated by this interference, but did his best not to show it. In fact, his annoyance transformed into intrigue the further he looked at one the clowns. Although they were supposedly sisters, his eyes could clearly see the difference between the two. Just like with Ayaka and Kaito, this one’s chakra reserves seemed like a bottomless pit. There was only one thing he could assume. That they were all jinchuriki.

‘Three jinchuriki all in the same place. Coincidentally all about the same age as well? No, that would be insane…’

Disregarding that possibility for now, there something else that stole his interest. Her face. It reminded him of someone. A person who had supposedly been burnt to ashes in the Chūnin Exams. His eyes couldn’t be wrong. He knew that for certain. As much as he would like them to, his eyes could never forgot what they saw. Right now, they were looking at Smiley, and just like him, she was wearing a disguise.

‘If she’s here, then that must mean the others are too. A disguise also confirms that they have their own reasons for being here. But why potentially reveal herself? It has to be a calculated move. Either way, I can use her. Them. Well, if my hunch is correct, then a genjutsu might not work on her. I’ll have to try it on the other one if she’s here.’

Smirking, the teen processed everything in only a few seconds as the clowns performed a trick. They may be fooling everyone, but not him. With his tags set up where they needed to be, all that was needed was the right time to pass. Perhaps this might be an opportunity to kill with a borrowed knife, allowing himself an easy way out. To think such fortune would fall right into his lap. He was filled with so much joy that he started chuckling after Megami ended her performance.

“That was a nice act, Megami. I like your name too. Is that your real name or a clown name? But maybe if there is time, we could see the rest of the show you and your fellow performers will put on.”

As he said that, his blue-violet eyes directed his gaze from her milky white eyes to what appeared to be the chakra silhouette of a cat sitting on a barrel a few feet away. It had been acting as the twin of Megami only a few seconds prior before appearing there after the trick was over. The transformation jutsu really was one of hell of a trick. Especially when a cat could do it. He knew she knew that was no ordinary cat. In fact, he hoped she knew he knew what was going on. However, he wondered if the others would be impressed enough by the act to drop their suspicion, especially the two Hyūga with those all-seeing white eyes of theirs. Would they be able to see if she lied too?

“Anyways, what do y’all think? She seems somewhat experienced, but I might also be easily impressed…”

Deferring the judgement to his fellow comrades, the silver haired ninja scratched the side of his face, seeming to indicate he wasn’t really sure himself.

A hop and a skip later and Sagisō was sliding through the window, in plain view of all the workers. Her complete lack of disguise drew attention, but that was exactly what she wanted. Since she didn’t know what disguise Karui had adopted she was relying on her sister to approach her. Given that she’d so blatantly caused a small scene, Karui would be able to tell that they’d abandoned stealth.

"Change of plans, we're going in hot." Her eyes shifted about vigilantly, fingers hovering above one of the blades in her holsters.

~Lin Arasaka...~

Lin watched the two take tricks, mentally taking notes as if she trying to analyze how they were doing their tricks. Lin watched with an unamused face, then turned towards Kiro who started chuckling. A few moments later, Lin gave a small smile and began clapping. Lin looked around wondering where the girl who dissapeared went.

"Nice trick Sparky. And a cat that does tricks too" Lin said.

Lin gestured to Sparkle's legs, "Your pretty good at tricks despite... Those... Fleshy legs. Squishy. I got a kunai. If you had fancy legs, I bet you could jump twice as high! Maybe even double jump" Lin said excitedly, clicking her fingers even faster. Thinking about leg replacements for the clown. They would be made of light material and pressurized to allow great acrobatics.

"That was a pretty nice act, a bit disjointed but not bad nonetheless." Shura commented upon seeing the clown's two part performance. While appearing unfazed on the surface, Shura's mind raced through many thoughts. Firstly, the girl's eyes were stark white, a mirror of his clan's famous dojustu. Secondly, that puff of smoke, while harmless, was from a tool typically used by ninjas. Thirdly, while he didn't have his Byakugan active at the time, those butterflies that flew out of one of the clown's mouth definitely looked like more than a simple party trick.

With these suspicions growing, the young man subtly activated his Byakugan, veins beginning to show around his eyes. With hid dojutsu active, many things became clear to the Hyuga man. "Hmm, that's a very developed chakra pathway for a circus performer." He internalized while observing Asahi's chakra. His eyes flew over to the cat that was sitting on a barrel a few feet away. "That cat too, must be a ninja animal." He concluded. "These clowns are definitely more than they're letting on. Hmm, this could be dangerous for the mission."

Not only the two suspicious individual at the front of the tent, strange things seems to be happening all around him. "Are those tags scattered around on the vendors around here? I can't quite tell what they do at a glance, I'll need to keep an eye out for them." Not only that, but the silver haired shinobi bearing the forehead protector from the mist had a very familiar chakra signature coming from him. "There's no mistaking it, that's the chakra of someone from the Uchiha clan. Why does someone from the mist posses the same chakra markings as one of our village's noble clans?" He thought. "Well, it doesn't matter right now. I'll give in a report once this mission finishes."

However, the young man from the mist isn't clear of suspicions just yet as the tags that were put on the various vendors and even on the back of the prince showed a distinctive chakra signature. One that so happens to match the silver haired young man. "Uchiha or not, I'll still need to keep an eye out for what this guy is planning."

Lastly, looking towards the inn building reveals two more defined chakra networks not typically owned by ordinary people. "More of them, have we already been compromised? If so we might need a change of plans." He surmised in his head.

"Sure, nothing would guarantee me a spot more than the prince's approval!" She took out a pack of flyers. "But, I have to get to work otherwise Captain, whatever his name, might get mad! I'll come back later." She shot the group a big grin before noticing Shura using his Byakugan. "Hey, what do you mean disjointed! It was flawless, what would you know about being a performer, we polish our skills daily. But, I wouldn't expect a dirty Hyuga to know anything about that." She took a look at her nails. "Born with some stupid eyes and you already think you're special. Hey look at me, I got special eyes, blah blah blah. I bet the little boy here has more talent then you do without those eyes to carry you through life. But, I guess it's not your fault, or mine, to be born with them huh?"

Asahi couldn't help but smirk as she held up her hand and activated her Byakugan. She noticed there were more shinobi around the area than she had thought, but confirming their location was good enough and also the weird silver haired boy had something going on with his eyes. However she quickly turned back off, trying not to come off as a threat.

"See? You're not special. Anyways, my shinobi days are long gone, in case it wasn't clear. My passion, making people smile." She held up her two index fingers to her cheeks and put on a smile. "I rather live free following my dreams, then being the Leaf's dog, you know?"

"Sparkles!" Kas called out, jumping to her feet. "We need to get back to work."

"Oh I'm trying to make new friends." Asahi pointed at the group in front of her. "Anyways, I wouldn't trust this dead eye looking bitch." She pointed at Shura. "Hyuga's will turn on their own without a doubt, just imagine to those outside of the clan." She placed her hands behind her head and gave Kiro a confused look. "Anyways, what's up with your eyes? You a Hyuga too?"

"Not quite sure if your ignoring me, or can't think of a proper way to say yes, but I'll take your lack of response as a sign, you clearly would like some new legs!" Lin said clasping her hands together cheerfully. Though Lin couldn't help but be confused. It wasn't an outright consensual yes. For all tenses and purposes, maybe the clown had hearing problems. Lin held out her hand snapping her fingers in confusion. Perhaps Lin could make some small micro sized devices that amplify sounds allowing one with impaired hearing to be able to hear better.

Lin's fingers twisted and clicked as she held her hand up to her chin. Looking around and pondering as she watched people walk by. Occasionally listening to the people walk by. Lin might not have been invisible, but she she sure felt like it. Lin watched the two ninjas from the land of hot water. Lin was always excited to the idea of experimenting with prosthetic limbs. Lin always wanted to give someone an arm twice it's normal length, or a tentacle leg, or an arm that can discreetly store kunai. The endless possibilities were why Lin enjoyed it so much.

"Mhm... Mhm. Sure. Interesting act... uh huh... Interesting... Strange... Mist head... Chichiha... silverrrr... " Lin muttered as she absently listened to the others talk. Lin glanced over at the flyer. Circus flyers obviously. The Hyugas activating their Byakugans, still bored and unimpressed. seemed odd and unnecessary use if the skill, but it least she knew they had dojutsus. Lin wondered if she could create an eye that could replicate the effects of dojutsu, but such a notion seemed highly unlikely and Lin would need to do extensive study on dojutsu users and there was no telling how many experiments would be needed to achieve viable results. A pipe dream it would seem.

M'kay. Cool. Break a leg out there" Lin said responding to sparkly saying she needed to go back to work. Remembering the quote she one time heard, though in Lin's case, the usage was more literal.

Kaito put his backpack on the grounds and sat down with his legs crossed while he started to whistle to himself. He then looked at the prince who was still fast asleep, he then turned his attention to his son.

It wouldn’t be so bad to start a conversation with the kid, besides I’m really fricken bored right now.

Kaito looked at Hikaru and took a couple of deep breaths before counting what he was gonna do. He stood up and walked towards the prince’s son and put his hand out.

“my name is Kaito, but please call me Kai. So what is the land of moon like anyway?”

“Goddamnit,” Karui sighed ruefully as she dispelled her transformation, causing every servant in the room to jump again in shock. “And after all the effort it took to get in here without arousing their suspicion.” She shook her head in mildly joking disappointment as her wings unfurled and began buzzing furiously, keeping her aloft just above the dishes she had just been washing.

The head chef came out from behind the smoking ovens, wildly swinging a meat cleaver in a way that made it very clear he had no combat training whatsoever. Karui lightly sidestepped him with little effort, gave a little wave to a slackjawed Mikey, who had followed behind the head chef, and darted through the window after Sagiso. “Alas, the nice, easy, stealth reconnaissance mission was not to be,” Karui teased Sagiso playfully. “Now we have to get our hands dirty.”

The sudden outburst from the clown calling herself Sparking Sparkles came as a surprise to the young man. Shura did no know where this had come from, as far as he knew all he did was activate his Dojutsu. Perhaps the girl had a bad run in with another Hyuga in the past and now she developed a bad opinion of all of them? Shura could not tell for sure. As he attempted to say something while faced by the accusation the clown was now throwing out, what the girl did next stopped the young man in his track. He had a suspicion when looking at her stark white eyes which bore a striking resemblance to their clan's Dojutsu, but now its as clear as day that those eye are indeed the Byakugan as the clown activated them during her rant. Shura's eyes furrowed. "What the? There's no mistaking it, those are the Byakugan. Did she steal them? Her chakra doesn't have the same color as our clan. But our seal is supposed to prevent something like this from happening." A wave of confusion swept Shura's mind as he tried to make sense of who exactly is this girl. "You, how do you have those eyes?"

However, before he could hear what the girl had to say, Shura's eyes caught the start of a commotion over in the inn building. The two defined chakra networks appeared to have begun causing a ruckus. "What now?" Turning his head towards the inn, Shura was able to tell that trouble was brewing. The young man glanced towards Keito. "In that building over there, two chakra signature who appear to be stirring up trouble. Its fair to assume they're enemies."

“It’ll be a bit troublesome, but first we’ve got to gauge our opponents. Megami recognized them from the Leaf, so I sent her over to provoke them; if we’re lucky they lose their heads and get taken down a notch by the local forces.”

Unfortunately, Sagisō wouldn’t bet on things being that easy. She recalled the direction Asahi had pointed out earlier and led Karui along.

“They’ll probably be expecting us,” if Asahi could recognize them then the opposite was likely true, “so keep your senses sharp. Our objective is to put on a show for the locals, so even if they attack focus on evasion.”

It didn’t take long for the duo to arrive on-scene, where Asahi faced off against a handful of shinobi and it seemed they'd arrive at just the right time. The skillful star cast an inquisitive gaze towards her sister.

“Did you spot anything useful? Any flaws you pick up on will help when we go after them later.”

Her words revealed her ill-intentions, and her eyes lingered playfully on the opposing group.

Asahi shot Lin an odd look, raising one eyebrow as she tried to understand what she was talking about. Then again, her mom always told not to look at special kids weirdly, since it was rude and maybe Lin was one of those kids.

"I was born with them duh." Asahi replied to Shura, pointing at her right eye. "What you think I go around taking people's eyes? I make people smile, not cry."

She turned back to Keito and shook her head. "I gotta say, I'm a little worried about the security here. But you're right, helping the prince will definitely get me in a better position, I guess I can take a few more minutes off-"

She spun around to see her sisters arriving, terrible timing. "Hey Tsuki, Suta!" She waved, as if they hadn't seen her already. "I made new friends. This one has something going on with his eyes." She pointed at Kiro. "And I think there's some tags around the place? Didn't get a good look. Oh and some dirty Hyuga is here, ruining everything, like they always do." She finally gestured to Keito. "Anyways this is... Um what was your name again?"

Kas jumped of the barrel and began to walk away, like if the show was no longer interesting to her.

After letting the others carry the discussion for a bit, it appeared that more people would be coming to join as well. Shura had mentioned something about trouble brewing in a nearby building and now it seemed like the trouble makers were already here. One of them wore a top that had long sleeves that covered her hands, with her legs clothed in some loose-fitting pants. To cap off the choice of clothing was a long cloak that hung around her knees. It was Karui, or rather, Suta. That confirmed the Hasa girls were always using code names.

As for the other girl, which captured the interest of the silver-haired teen, she wore what looked like a high-neck, shoulder-less top that had some loops added through. This seemed to allow Riceball, now known as Tsuki, to strand her wispy black hair, causing it to fall over her chest. Noticeably, there were also a set of vambraces strapped onto her forearms and shins. Attached to those vambraces seemed to be a rope dart, which the Mist ninja managed to maintain a neutral expression after seeing it. To complete the rest of her look, the Kunoichi added a black skirt-short with skirt-slits at its sides.

“Just saying you’re gonna come after us. How bold.”

He mumbled, half impressed by the confidence, or perhaps cockiness, brazenly displayed by the black-haired girl. It had only been a few days, but she hadn’t wasted any time upgrading her arsenal. She wasn’t here to play games, no matter what that playful gaze told them. At least, it seemed Keito wasn’t buying any of Megami’s antics and was even trying to take the initiative by bringing her in. He should know who they were as well. Of course, by this point, it was clear that the Hasa girls didn’t care that their cover was blown. Since there were Hyūga here, they would’ve been caught either way, which was they probably realized. Only thing was, he still had to act like he didn’t know who they were, so he’d have to play off the information being revealed currently.

Like he expected, Megami was also a Hyūga and he wondered how Shura would handle this news. Megami clearly had a distaste for her own bloodline, which he could relate to, but that would have to remain undisclosed for now. What had been revealed was the names of the other two girls. Considering Tsuki was the one asking Megami would she had learnt, the magenta-eyed girl could be assumed to be the mastermind of the group. He knew she was. Before he spoke to Tsuki, the teen felt a sickening feeling rise up as he thought for what he was going to have to say to her, but quickly pushed it down and let his voice flow out smoothly.

“It seems like you’re the leader of whatever group this is, and I can see why. You have a sweet name and resplendent eyes to go along with it. My eyes seem to be pretty attractive as well, even getting the attention of your Hyūga friend. I don’t think they’re anything special, though, but you tell me. If you’re looking for flaws, then can you see any in my eyes, Tsuki?”

Looking directly at the eyes of Tsuki after he finished speaking to her, he tried to flash her a charming smile, but couldn’t. That felt like a bit to much to him and a bit hard for him to do on the fly, to be honest. She probably wouldn’t respond kindly to his remarks anyway, so he wouldn’t have to worry about those faults anymore for now. At least, he could maybe divert her attention a bit so Keito could manage to get Megami to willingly follow him. If the Mist ninja got the chance, perhaps he could place Tsuki in a genjutsu to speed that process along. The wild card there would be Suta, but she just seemed to be following Tsuki. It didn’t look like they were here to fight right now, and like Keito, he was able to remain casual. That didn’t mean the situation wasn’t tense. If the escort team was smart, they wouldn’t let these suspicious girls go so easily, but that might also be what the Hasa trio wanted.

Usually, familiar faces made for a pleasant occasion but when those faces stood in opposition then a proverbial phrase came to mind; ‘enemies are bound to meet on a narrow road.’ Although calling them enemies was a bit of a stretch, they were situational adversaries at worst.

Of the five she was faced with, she recognized two: Keito and the impetuous Hyuga girl. She hadn’t been witness to their matches at the exams Asahi would have to check their chakra natures later.

The first one to address her had been the lean, white-faced one: silver-haired and looking all-too-fragile. In spite of his looks, he proved to have some degree of courage neither bending nor rising to her provocation but instead presenting a challenge of his own. ‘Pretty eyes, huh?’

The Skillful Star’s gaze swung to meet his own, a shimmering blue-violet, beautiful to a fault. Ultimately, as pretty as they were, they held no interest to the girl and so she prepared to move on to the next person that’d addressed her...

Judging by Asahi's silly facial expression that this girl clearly wasn't the brightest person around. Though that was probably why she was a clown. Poor girl was likely slow.

"I can replace legs, but I can't replace mental issues. Poor thing... The fact that her name was Sparkly sparking or whatever should have been a red flag" Lin thought to herself. Lin assumed she'd likely need to talk slower if she wanted to communicate with the possibly deaf ninja. The idea of the ninja having hearing problems seemed more likely now, considering she obviously didn't hear any of what Lin said to her.

"Born with a lot of things" Lin muttered.

"It's okaaay. Us ninjas got things under control. the prince will be juuust fiiine" Lin said talking down to Sparkles like she were a child before rolling her eyes.

Lin watched Tsuki and Keito talk. Rolling her eyes and making clicking sounds with her fingers. At this point Lin was planning on going back to her position or going inside the tent. The people here were clearly no fun. Nothing particularly interesting to say, it would seem. Lin wasn't going to tell the clown her name, though even if she did say it, its likely the poor thing wouldn't hear that either. If Lin wanted to get a reaction she might as well draw a kunai. Lin wasn't even interested in giving the clown new legs anymore. Clown probably wouldn't even know how to properly use them. Then there were the others. At least they seemed smarter.

"Not sure if asking for their assessments would even be useful. Might be more useful to spend that time going over plans with the other ninjas in the tent" Lin said considering going into the tent herself. The clown Asahi didn't seem like she'd have useful information, but her friend with the blue-violet eyes just might. Lin wasn't sure what she thought of that one.

"Born with them huh." Pondering on the clown's words, Shura scanned the girl once more, observing the color of her chakra. "So she says, but her chakra color doesn't match at all. Unless, there's something masking it." Taking a more thorough look at Asahi's chakra network, the Hyuga was able to notice a rather intense and menacing aura emanating from deep within it. "I've never seen something like this before, she might be even more trouble than I thought."

While the confrontation in front of the tent was unfolding, the young Hyuga girl finally made her way out. "Hey umm, what's going on out he-" Shiho cut herself off upon seeing the faces of the Hasa trio standing in from of her group. "Hey have we met somewhere before? I feel like I remember you guys." She spoke.

Seeing her sister make her appearance, Shura turned his head towards her. "Ah Shiho, change of plans. Stay inside the tent for now and keep watch of the prince. We'll deal with what's happening out here." He ordered.

Shiho was rather confused by this order. However, she knew her brother must have had good reasons to ask this of her. "Uh, alright I understand." She replied before turning back around. "Still, those girls looked very familiar, did I meet them during the Chunnin exam?"

Asahi looked at Kiro and then at Sagiso, before letting out a chuckle. "You two know the inn is that way right?" She pointed towards the building the two Hasa girls had arrived from.

She couldn't enjoy her little joke for long though, since the Hyuga was looking at her again. "Hey! Keep your eyes to yourself man. Really creepy how you're scanning me, I know I'm the most beautiful one, but I don't like you, take a hint."

Asahi was about to continue her rant, except a familiar face joined the conversation. "You!" Asahi cried, pointing at Shiho, who had her back turned. "I've been looking forwards to this moment for a long time." She took a deep breath and put on a smile. "We were in the exams together! You chased me and then I chased you and then we left, when I was fighting that fire boy, remember? The cowardly one that left you alone." She waved towards the Hyuga girl. "What a small world huh?"

"Alright sisters, while you two hold the fort, I'm gonna go with-" She paused as she looked at Keito, squinting her eyes, "Gingerbread here and get my audition for tonight's performance, is that okay? Or are we throwing fists? I could go either way, this Hyuga douchebag keeps looking at me, which is basically asking for it."

‘Damn her!’

Refraining himself from releasing any bloodlust, the silver-hair teen hadn’t expected that response from her. Although she looked unimpressed, her gaze continued to linger on his eyes. Tsuki didn’t have to say one word for the Mist ninja to know she could see right through him. She had willingly left herself vulnerable, now it was up to him to decide how to handle that.

Time seemed to slow down. He only had a few seconds to take advantage of this opportunity or discern if it was actually a trap. While placing Tsuki in a genjutsu would absolutely be possible at this very second, would it last for another second or two after? She had two teammates. One with and a byakugan and the other with an antenna that probably had some crazy sensory abilities for all he knew. If he placed Tsuki in a genjutsu, it would be for a second at best.

As for the purpose of the genjutsu, at face value, it would be to stall for time to get Megami to follow Keito inside the tent. However, it she seemed like she was ready to go in herself. Whether or not Tsuki would agree to this was an unknown, but it certainly nullified the purpose for placing her under genjutsu in the first place. Of course, he did have a personal reason for placing her under one. Yet, that would likely incite a more aggressive reaction from the girls. That could be beneficial, of course, but was it really worth risking the trust the other had in him?

There were quite a few options the Hasa trio had here. Primarily Tsuki, since she was the one giving out orders. She could just allow Megami to go inside with them, but she would have no idea what the escorts would do to her. Another option would be to deny Megami from following, which would likely lead to some form of conflict. The escorts would be foolish to let the Hasa trio go, especially if they knew how slippery those girls could be. Either option worked in his favor. His plan had already been set in motion and Hasa would allow him an easy way out.

That’s where a third option came in. One that was more risky for himself, if anything. He already expected this one to not be possible, but it was still worth mentioning. Megami had given him the idea of him talking to Tsuki privately. While placing her under genjutsu now would be unwise, there were other ways to use her and vice-versa. If they were here for the Prince, then they had to be out of the loop. No knowledge of the Coup that had already taken place in the Moon. Capturing the Prince or his son wouldn’t be of any worth now. Killing him was worth more. As for the child, there were other options. He just wanted one thing in exchange for all that. Either way, the possibility of that scenario happening was next to zero, so he was prepared for a skirmish one way or another.

Blinking once, the teen continued to gaze into the magenta eyes of the Virago before him as a confident expression formed on his lips. He glanced at Megami briefly, seeming to acknowledge her words, before returning his focus onto Tsuki. Expecting their brief conversation to end after this final offer, the silver-hair teen spoke in a gentle tone.

“You’re right, Megami. While they go do their thing, I can show you more than just my eyes while we have a nice ti- chat in that inn over there. I promise you won’t regret it, Tsuki.”

A moment passed between the two ninjas; gazes locked as the others moved around them. Keito’s offer hung in the air, as did Lin’s comments that let slip that even more shinobi lay within the tent; Sagisō took note of both but held her reaction.

A second moment passed and then the boy blinked. The tense exchange was over.

The corners of Saigsō’s lips curved just a bit more, her playful look sharpened into one of directed mockery. It could be inferred from Asahi’s earlier comments that this boy was the owner a dojutsu; it could further be inferred, from his words and his invitation to look into her eyes, that eye contact held some measure of importance. He had challenged her bold declaration with one of his own, but when she took him up on it... he folded.

“How cute.”

When Sagisō moved on she didn’t just shift her gaze away; nay, she cut her eyes, she waited just a moment with her eyes closed, a moment enough for Karui—whose sensory prowess would’ve alerted her if something had happened—to intervene before she pivoted slightly until Keito was her focus and the unnamed boy...well, he would remain unnamed.

He seemed to make one more entreaty, inviting her to the Inn. In response to this, Sagisō simply giggled—he was a good joke. Moving onto a conversation that mattered, Keito’s offer still hung in the air; and what an offer it was. After considering things for a moment, Sagisō nodded.

“Sure, we’ll join you. You don’t mind, right~?”

Gesturing for Karui to follow, Sagisō took steady, measured steps towards the tent. She stopped a few steps away from its entrance, testing, probing, offering Keito a moment to change his mind; she cast her gaze towards the boy for a final time, needing no words or even expressions to convey her contempt. Her actions alone did that in spades; he’d have to be at least this bold before flirting with her.

Hearing what Asahi yelled at her, Shiho took a quick moment to turn back. "Oh yeah now I remember, funny seeing you out here." She commented before continuing her walk, not a care in the world.

While everyone were conversing around him, Shura was still deep within his own thoughts. The young man was filtering out all the other sounds, ignoring all that was outside his mind. "Could it be that she somehow removed the seal and has a barrier set up around her chakra to avoid detection? Is that even possible? No, first of all we don't even know who these people are. Are they simply rogue ninjas? Or are they part of a group, a hidden village maybe? One of the smaller nations of one of the big fives? There is too much missing information to make a good call here. But in any case, does there exist technology capable to removing the Hyuga curse seal?" While his internal monologue carried on, Shura took another step back to leave the entrance to the tent open for anyone wishing to enter.

~Linvisible Arasaka...~

"Talking with these clowns isn't going anywhere, and I'm not talking about circus performers. Be cool if some other sand ninjas were here... Looks like I'm gonna have to carry this escort mission myself" Lin thought to herself. Lin had more self confidence to sit here and continue on. Lin turned and left. Eventually making her way to the side of the tent, and eventually the backside. she stood back there looking around. Occasionally scaring off children as she twisted and contorted the joints in her arm. If anything, Lin took minor entertainment from that. Lin pulled out a small bamboo container that looked too small to contain much. She twisted it and it opened revealing it to be a small glass of plum juice with a little bit of saké and holding a middle finger up at the clouds, "Fuck! Damn! Let's get this escort mission in the bag, so we can go home, Nohl. Maybe clean up our shop a little. Maybe upgrade you a little too" Lin said talking to her puppet.

A man stood there watching Lin confused, believing her to be talking to herself, to which Lin looked over, annoyed hissed at him, scaring him off and both middle fingers pointed at him. She rested her arm on her puppet, and continued to look at the clouds, "Good times, Nohl" Lin said.

~Hisato Forgotten Gato...~

Hisato Gato headed over to the Mizukage Manor. Kiro had already gone off on a mission by himseeelf. Lone wolf smh. Hisato was still pretty excited to go on a mission though. Hisato headed out and eventually arrived. After heading in, he saw Yagura, who was going to give their mission details.

"Morning" Hisato said to the kage. The kage glanced over at Hisato, nodded before resuming what he was doing beforehand. "You'll be going on a mission, I'll debrief you on your mission in a second" Yagura said.

‘Keeping the numbers even...’

Sagisō hadn’t missed the implications there, counting the number of shinobi outside made four and the girl that had peaked out made five, this ‘Kai’, Keito was calling to made six; however, from Keito’s words, Sagisō could deduce the existence of a 7th unnamed person. That would give a rough estimate of the size of the group, though she’d check again later with longer-range scouting methods.

Stepping to the side opposite Keito, Sagisō gave Asahi and Karui the go-ahead.

“Two inside and the Hyuga girl steps out, the rest of you...can keep me company.”

Kaito felt a little bad for hikaru he’s had a lot of things happen to him, Kaito began to scratch his chin to think of a way to make the boy feel better.

What can I do? There’s nothing we can do right now since we have to stay inside the tent. Hey I got the perfect idea!

Kaito jumped up from his sitting position and looked happily at hikaru before speaking.

“How about once we get to the land of moon we can hangout together, you can even be my personal guide while we’re their. I’m pretty sure we can stay a little while before we all need to go back home, What do you think Hikaru?

Sagisō frowned...that didn’t add up. A quick recount of the shinobi present showed she’d missed one person, a quiet, seemingly invisible girl who hadn’t spoken a word since they’d arrived...so much for the 7th person in the tent.

Silently the girl admonished herself, maybe the pressure was getting to her. She blinked once and her expression was once again frivolous.

“Fine, Megami and the cat inside, the rest of us out. You can send someone in but you, stay out.”

Turning to Asahi, Sagisō threw her a serious look.

“Keep track of things.”

She gestured towards the departing Lin, essentially giving Asahi free-reigns to utilize her byakugan to keep tabs on everyone in and around the tent.
