“Haha, thanks.”
Thanking the girl from Suna, Kiro turned and headed away from the tent. There were vendors and buildings everywhere he looked. Passerby wandered around with their families and friends, entertaining themselves with food and other fun activities. It was a sweet sight, but not for long. Unbeknownst to him, there was a certain guy in particular who just so happened to pass him as he headed towards a building a good distance away. If anything, Kiro was lucky that guy hadn’t shown up any sooner than he did. He would’ve most certainly have lost focus of his own goal here. That goal being…
Cursing silently, the teen then pulled back his hands while he was behind the Prince. Swiftly, he performed four hand seals faster than someone without a dojutsu could see, perhaps to showcase his competence. After performing the Tiger, Rat, Bird, and Snake seals, in that order, he reached underneath the Prince to try again. His strength seemed to have increased from whatever jutsu he might’ve done as the ninja appeared to be doing a good job lifting the Prince up. However, that all changed when the Prince then fell back onto his back.
“Fuck!”
Cursing again, the teen suddenly found his hand bearing all the weight of the prince while they felt like there were being crushed. He did his best to pull his hands out from underneath the heavy man before falling back himself. Although this could be seen as embarrassing, the teen didn’t seem to be at all.
“Just kidding.”
"I suppose now's a good time to start the fireworks."
By fireworks, he meant activating the sealing tags placed onto the back of the Prince. Only fools would think he had struggled that much to lift up that overgrown buffoon. One with a keen eye should've been able to discern that a shinobi didn't need hand seals to perform basic chakra flow in the first. Some with an even insightful eye, perhaps someone like the boy who he had just walked past, would've also been able to recognize the hand seals of the fire release technique he had used. It was the same one he had used to plant the seals all over the many vendors across the area. Of course, the Hyūga with the byakugan should've noticed, right?
Not only the two suspicious individual at the front of the tent, strange things seems to be happening all around him. "Are those tags scattered around on the vendors around here? I can't quite tell what they do at a glance, I'll need to keep an eye out for them." Not only that, but the silver haired shinobi bearing the forehead protector from the mist had a very familiar chakra signature coming from him. "There's no mistaking it, that's the chakra of someone from the Uchiha clan. Why does someone from the mist posses the same chakra markings as one of our village's noble clans?" He thought. "Well, it doesn't matter right now. I'll give in a report once this mission finishes."
However, the young man from the mist isn't clear of suspicions just yet as the tags that were put on the various vendors and even on the back of the prince showed a distinctive chakra signature. One that so happens to match the silver haired young man.
That's the thing, the supposed Chūnin never said a word to anyone else about the tags. The only one who had even mentioned the tags was actually Megami. Rather, he preferred to call her Smiley. Although she didn't appear all that bright, the girl had unknowingly started to become a growing hindrance to his plan. Fortunately for him, Smiley had mentioned she didn't exactly get a good look at the tags, indicating she didn't know everything about them and where they were placed. The best part was that Keito had split everyone else up from Smiley, including the one who would've been able to figure everything out, Roulan. Kiro wished he could see her face when all her plans went up in smoke. He wouldn't mind his cursed eyes framing that into his memories. To be honest, he didn't know why, but something about her just rubbed him the wrong way. Perhaps it was that smug cockiness she had while waltzing around acting like she was in full control of every situation. Roulan even had Keito buckling to her commands. It was a shame, it really was. Without hesitation, rather than taking a piss, Kiro placed his right hand on the ground to activate his jutsu.
"Fire Style: Explosive Flame Formation."
Imbued with fire release in advance, this technique made the explosive tags all the more destructive. This jutsu allowed the user to release a large number of explosive tags to stream onto whatever their target was and if used for a surprise attack, it could be hidden under any surface. Non-human, of course. This is why Kiro had to apply the explosive tags onto the back of the sleeping Prince. At least he would die in his sleep. Once activated, all the tags he had set up when detonate simultaneously, causing the entire area to light up. You see, every area he'd marked had multiple tags placed, which only increased the explosive of damage of the empowered tags. The tags spread out on each vendor and the back of the Prince once the activation was cast before everything was instantaneously lit up. A bright yellow glow would emanate from all the areas marked, from the vendors to the doorway of the tent, and lastly the Prince when the explosions occurred. The explosions were scattered across the vendors Kiro had passed on the way to the tent, and the front tent itself was also engulfed in a relatively large explosion. At least, anyone standing by the front of the tent would've been impacted by the blast. While everyone's attention outside would be on the explosions happening out there, inside would be even more chaotic. With Kaito and Ayaka standing with their backs towards the Prince and his son, facing Asahi, they would have no time to react to the large explosion which completely engulfed the Prince, and everything else around him. With explosive tags underneath the Prince, even if Asahi had managed to notice the tags after she had activated her byakugan, it would've been too late for her to do anything, especially with two bloodlusted opponents in her way. That was assuming she even knew or cared what the tags were. Essentially, all three jinchuriki would have to focus on protecting themselves from an explosion strong enough to leave a crater in its aftermath. The jinchuriki should be fine, thanks to their healing factor, but the only thing remaining of the Prince would be a roasting, lifeless carcass. As for Kiro, the last sighting of him would be of a white pigeon flying out into the clouds, completely free.
