    Hey, I'm not sure if I will even work it into the story, but I would like to know if Jensen's Aries (an Aerodactyl) in the RP "Kalos Hotel" would be capable/approved to mega evolve.

    When it becomes relevant, contact me via private message with information about the Character, the Aerodactyl, sufficient proof of the bond between then and how they might have come upon a mega stone and a key stone (remember, those are rare and not idly found). Then we'll see.

    Done. For future reference - EVERYTHING that was included in your first post of that RP does NOT belong in the RP thread itself, but in the discussion thread. The first post of the RP should include some actual RP content. Yours did not. I merged your first actual RP post with the first post, but I think that might have slightly screwed up the timeline.

    The first post of that RP had absolutely no RP content - it was pretty much exactly the same as the discussion thread, which is NOT necessary in an actual RP thread. RP threads are for RP content only. Second, your tenses were all over the place, shifting from present to past continuously. And once the other kid derped in it all went straight to hell. Yeah, This is no way to run a railroad.

    I appreciate TF2's sense of humor but it's incredibly not my type of game, and I've grown immensely weary of hearing the internet blather about Overwatch as though it's Blizzard's Gift to Mankind, when really it's just Team Fortress 2 Without Hats. XP

    I can say without a doubt that both games have a unique charm and many differences. I'm not gonna deny it though, class based shooters are always bound to have similarities. I'm just thanking god that Overwatch isn't a complete rip-off, like how Call of Duty practically remakes the same game every year.

    I will give Blizzard that - they are very good at taking a formula that works for another company, putting their own twists on it and completely recodifying the genre so future imitators imitate THEM rather than the source. They did that with Warcraft/Starcraft, certainly with World of Warcraft and Hearthstone - and now with Overwatch.

    Now if only they didn't Metzen everything they made five seconds later...

    I apologize for messing up on my Roleplay. I'm brand new here and I was only looking at the Roleplay rules. I didn't know that "slang" was a bad thing. Also, I've seen many people have two Roleplay boards, one for the real thing and one for applying.Please re-open my Roleplay I won't do this again!

    If a sprite sheet using fan made sprites is downloaded by a someone, and that person later tries to use the sprites in the sheet, but the link to the sprite sheet no longer works, and the creator is unable to locate the sprite sheet on another site, what do they do?

    You'd be unable to use those sprites on 'Charms, unfortunately. We need to be able to access the original source to verify the sprites are indeed free to use, so posting any that are gone, and thus we can't check, wouldn't be allowed. Hope that helps :)

    Nope. If a thread violates the rules beyond a certain level, it will be closed regardless of its joining status.

    I'm pretty sure the site would display the price in US Dollars regardless of region of origin (does for me and I'm from no where near the US xD) but your method of payment (paypal, credit card, the like) will take care of the conversion when payment is made.

    Probably best to check how much do these prices translate to in £ before doing anything, though. ^^

    Actually, making a top-level link on the navigation bar to the Role Play forum was @Teapot 's idea. Considering the generally high activity levels of RPers around here, it's no surprise. Unfortunately, it seems to have also drawn the attention of idiots. I've had more work tonight than I had in a while. <<

    This may seem a strange question but would having a cult following a legendary Pokemon break the rules around legendary pokemon, Since i was thinking of having a roleplay around a cult devoted to jirachi, but before i created it i wanted to check it was okay.(They don't actually find jirachi,)

    Just as long as the legendary itself is not actually present, that should be fine. Makes sense for legendaries to be worshipped, being a bunch of godlike creatures and all.

    I have a quick question regarding Roleplaying. So recently we've been getting information on lots of Alolan form Pokemon and such, so I'm wondering if using those Pokemon prior to the release of the games in Roleplays would be permitted. Or would the fact that we have so little information on them, short of their typing and appearance, mean that we don't have enough knowledge yet to roleplay with them? Thank you!

    I think that it's still a bit early to RP Alolan form Pokemon, especially since we know there are differences in stats and movesets from their normal counterparts but we don't know what those are yet.

    Because RPs are not the games - they are supposed to resemble a more actual Pokemon World setting than the ones bound by the ingame logic. In an actual Pokemon World, legendary pokemon are INCREDIBLY rare and powerful, and not something that any random schmuck would run into, let alone capture or get involved with.

    Mega Evolutions, too, were initially hyped as pretty damn rare and powerful and requiring some pretty special trainers and Pokemon to pull off.

    Throw that into the fact that most RPers here leave much to be desired in terms of skills or trustworthiness. Without restrictions in place on their use we'd have obnoxious bad RPers god-moding with legendaries and Megas all over and not on /MY/ watch, busters.

    Cussing is perfectly fine and does not require any particular marking. That's in our main rules, too.
