Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
"Not me." Keoni said, slinking out from the stream. His fur seemed to have turn a bit of a grayish color starting at his paws. He yawned and shook the water off, the paws regaining their original color.
"... Well, I had another Fire stone that I had accidentally lost somewhere in the forest. It was attached to my red ribbon which is still with it." Keoni said, a sad tone in his voice.
"I've built a sorta resistance against water, it feels so nice now dont'cha agree?" Keoni asked, tail bobbing in the water. "Say, did you find that one other Fire stone?"
Keoni ended up rolling into the water as well, which had felt very soothing to his stripes which had finally gone out. His paws gripped onto the streams floor and wades through the water with a serene look on his face. "So nice..." He rather enjoyed the feeling of the waters coolness.
Keoni rolled around on the ground trying to rid himself of the frustration. His stripes were flaming so hot that it was actually starting to irritate him.
Keoni tossed the Magikarp back, frustrated. His stripes appear to be flaming now. "Agh... And I finally got it after the last few years too..." He tossed the Magikarp behind him as if it were weightless and growled quietly to himself.
Keoni struck a paw into the water, his claws skewering a weak Magikarp. "I got a Magikarp!" He raised his paw, fresh blood running down his arm from the Magikarp.
Keoni was sure to listen, now looking around for anything that just might help the hurt Quilava. "Perhaps a fresh Magikarp? A Gold Berry? I don't know anymore..." Keoni's stripes seemed to glow a radiant red like that of the everlasting embers in a fireplace.
"My name's Keoni, and you are...?" Keoni gave the Quilava a hopeful glance. His tail swished around, removing excess dust and rocks from the fall he had recently had.
Keoni gave the Quilava a curious sniff, seeing how the fur was all clumped up in messy patches as if it hadn't been washed properly. "Stange... How would someone in this state make it so far?" Keoni thought.
Keoni looked at the Meowstic and then back to the Riolu. "I'm Keoni, have you seen my Fire stone?" He'd ask, his green eyes almost seemingly glowing among the trees shadows.
(Yeah.) Keoni shook his fur, the small rocks and dust spreading. "No problem! Are ye' alright?" Keoni asked. "You took quite the fall now." His emerald green eyes scanned the Riolu.
Despite not receiving and answer, he bounded off following the scent of the Meowstic. When he neared the mountain he saw someone tumbling down. "They must need help!" Keoni leaped from rock to rock and caught the Riolu in his arms, and tumbled down with them softening their fall.
Keoni's tail wagged excitedly as he looked up at Talia. "Well, can we?" He asked with giddiness of a excited child. He hopped around in a circle as he usually does.
"No, we should look for it! I'll get more experience if we do it that way." Growlithe looked at the snowy mountain, smelling a faint trace of the Meowstic coming from that direction.
"Don't underestimate me now!" He continued laughing, using another Flame Charge. After attacking he had just noticed that the Meowstic had left. "... Wait, Talia.. Where's that one Meowstic?" He stopped, the fire leaving his eyes.
"Tch..." Totakeke always hated it when people thought that he was just a "kid". Once he actually stood up he seemed to tower over everyone else by a foot. Sulfur stood up too, being that he was specially breeded to be both bigger and stronger than other of his kind.
"She has more Pokemon, y'know." Totakeke said, his ice blue eyes scanning Cicle. Sulfur mewled in agreement, his flaming mane glowing even brighter than before.
"Haha!" Though Keoni was literately slammed to the ground, he was having a blast and didn't even notice that the Meowstic took his precious stone. "Take this!" He used Flame Charge, slamming himself into Talia and increasing his speed.
