Helloo, Welcome in a reboot of the Cafe of Love ^^

This RP is about a cafe located in Couriway Town. This was opened a few weeks ago and many Pokemon Trainers working there and eating there have one thing in common: they're looking for love. It sells a variety of drinks (coffee, tea, hot chocolate etc.) and baked goods!

Few rules
All Pokecharms rules apply!

Romance Is the main goal but keep it mostly PG-13

Everyone has to have a Pokemon Partner, (not an emphasis on battling but there may be some if you want)

Max of 3 Characters per person

If you wanna do a romance with another user try and clarify in the discussion thread before you make a post in the RP

Note: If you work at the Cafe, your uniform consists of a white shirt and a sunset pink (#E78677) colored apron and pants (for boys) or skirt (for girls)

Personality: He is cold by outside, but he has a gentle heart and soft soul in the inside. Clint is caring for everyone, trying his best as he works in the cafe and always listens to problems of others to help them. Its hard sometimes for others to see his true colours, but once they do and accept them. He can be a great friend or something more...

Partner's Appearance: Shiny Flygon with a similar to Clint's necklace.
Partner's Personality: Serpent is a really good friend of Clint, he doesn't like being in pokeball and really dislike being in buildings. Serpent loves to fly in the air with his trainer and watch the world from the sky.

Personality: Childish and sweet for most of the people. He can act and sing quite good due to a fact of him working as actor in a small theater not so far from the cafe. He trusts easily which is his good and bad trait.

Cleo is a 5'10 tall man with quite slim build, he has a light purple eyes and light green hair.
Common Clothing: Leo wears many different clothes,however he usually wears black shirt and Beige trousers with blue or black trainers. He also wears a bracelet, that was made for him by his little sister as a birthday gift and he never takes it off.

Partner's Appearance: looks like regular Swinub.
Partner's Personality: Cherry likes to ride either on Cleo shoulder or head and she just loves to eat sweet things so she and her trainer often visits cafe for some cake. She is often really excited to meet new person or to play with everyone.

Personality: She seems very sullen, she has a cold look in her eyes and tends to make people uncomfortable, but she is generally kind and caring to most people and is very protective of her twin. She has a sunshine earing in her right ear, glasses and wears her hair loose so that it goes it's full length, which is just below her butt.
Personality: Energetic, bubbly, talkative and gets along well with everyone. She likes singing, reading and having friends. She doesn't like bullies, heights or maths.

Partner's Personality: Ginger is very loyal. She is also very excitable and bubbly, she loves proving herself and never runs from a fight which also leads to others having to save her more than often.

Personality: He is a quiet and calm individual, although pushing him the wrong way is an easy way to find his more sassy side, although he is caring to those he likes, especially Pokemon. He can get somewhat flustered if women compliment him.
Appearance: Standing at 5'10" with a slim body build, Fair skin and dark Blue eyes, his dark Brown hair is short and tidy, almost similar to a buzz cut.
Common Clothing: His clothing consists of a Dark Blue turtleneck jacket with yellow lines along the zipper and sleeve edges, Charcoal baggy pants and Brown boots with Black straps and soles. He carries a Dark gray bag that goes from his left shoulder to his right hip and a Black Beanie on his head.

Partner's Appearance: Looks like your normal everyday Chesnaught.
Partner's Personality: Chesnaught is a gentle giant who can be rather protective with his Trainer and anyone he likes. In battles, he turns from gentle to ruthless and intimidating as if he was a completely different person.

Sexuality: Bisexual
Personality: A kind soul who loves making friends a meeting new people but also gets flustered way to easily and it shows. He also has a tendency to ramble a lot and overthink a lot of actions. His number one passion in life is music and he wishes to become a Pokémon contest sensation as well as a renowned singer.
Appearance: Jericho is lightly tanned with dark brown freckles on his face. He has a messy mop of curly lavender hair and hazel brown eyes. He is 5’11 and slightly thinner than average.
Common Clothing: Jericho wears a loose light yellow polo shirt tucked into caramel shorts. He wears a run down pair of white tie-up shoes. He wears musical note earrings.

Partner's Appearance: Pitch is a bit smaller than most Swablu in that her height only reaches about 11 inches as opposed to the traditional 16 inches. Her fluffy wings don’t extend to far and she’s small enough to perch onto Jerichos head shoulder.
Partner's Personality: Pitch loves to sing and is very cheery. She likes to wander around by flying and perching onto various objects but is still loyal to Jericho and enjoys human food.

Personality: A normally friendly and overall "chill" person.Due to his constant near death experiences during his travels, he's able to stay calm during stressful times. He has traveled mostly alone until he was 19, so he's a bit awkward socially.
While normally peaceful, he and Luke are a menace on the battlefield.
Appearance:tanned skin, black eyes, black straight hair, somewhat muscular..
Common Clothing:Wears a black jacket with a red undershirt underneath/black sneakers/ blue jeans.

Partner: Lucario (Luke)
Partner's Appearance: A regular Lucario, although the power items power items he wears are noticeable.
Partner's Personality: In a single word, stoic. Luke's face rarely changes due to his single focus: Getting stronger.
Other Pokemon: While he has others, due to taking a break of travelling, Bron only has Luke around for now.

She's quiet and usually keeps to herself, never really initiating conversations. Once you get to know her, she will break out of her shell, but she still is quiet.
Appearance: Tabby has blonde hair styled into a pixie cut. She is 5'2". She has light grey eyes
Common Clothing: Normally Tabby wears baggy clothing, like hoodies and t-shirts. She normally wears jeans

Personality: Jun is somewhat friendly but also enjoys her share of teasing and poking fun at others. She can be quite brutally honest about her opinions on others, though if she is crushing on someone, she won’t be so bold. Jun has a questionable criteria for what Pokemon she thinks are cute, normally finding poison, rock, or bug pokemon to be the most appealing. She has a sweet tooth. She is not very fond of dragon type Pokemon. Jun finds them horrifying though she keeps that fact to herself. She has a love for Pokemon photography, but isn’t that adamant about sharing it.
Appearance: Jun stands at 5’4” with short and wavy red-hot bob cut hair, and rather pale skin. She had hazel eyes,
Common Clothing: She wears a forest green turtleneck sweater under a maroon overcoat, as well as a dark grey skirt that ends by her knees.

Partner's Appearance: He wears a red neck tie around its body, but the tie normally just dangles over it’s back side, flailing in the wind.
Partner's Personality: A happy, content, and mellow Gulpin, that normally minds his own business. It doesn’t take much to satisfy him, as long as he is fed the proper amount. If not, he might act a bit bratty.
Other Pokemon: Nosepass (Mr. Northward), Glalie (Mr. Popsicles)

Name: Hasumi Kisaragi

Age: 20

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Bisexual, slightly prefers men


Personality: Hasumi is a fiery lady who always seems to have ridiculous amounts of energy. She’s got a hair-trigger temper to boot. She tackles every task with nothing but her best, even if she’s godawful at it.


She really seems to have absolutely no idea what she’ll do in the future, and doesn’t have any plans to do something either. It seems she’s happy just working at the shop, even if her personality may annoy her coworkers at times.


Appearance: She’s a bit short for her age, standing at about 5 feet tall, much to her chagrin. She seems to have bluish black hair, purple eyes, and somewhat tan skin, perhaps similar to a Hex Maniac. Her posture is rather relaxed, though not hunched over — she has a rather average build apart from her height.

Partner: ‘Pyre,’ a Litwick


Partner's Personality: ...Dead silent, and calm, Pyre doesn’t seem to be all that threatening. However, it seems to eye new visitors closely, and doesn’t seem to be all that trusting to newbies. It does tend to warm up to recurrent visitors quickly, however.

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Personality: A very chill, laid-back guy who loves incorporating jokes into his dialogue. There’s hardly a serious bone in his body, and he doesn’t seem to give much thought to the future — focusing on the present, and handwaving dealing with what seems to be some self esteem problems with jokes.


While he could be considered humble, constantly trying to help others, the fact he puts himself last is taking a bit of a toll on him.


It seems he has a great affinity for Grass-type Pokémon — in specific, Petilil and Lilligant, as they help him with his part-time job in exchange for his care.


Appearance: Brown, medium-cut hair, deathly pale skin, and green eyes, standing at about 5’11. Tends to wear baggy clothing to hide his slightly underweight build. Has fairly good posture, standing up straight most of the time. Generally has light bags under his eyes, though one has to really look to see them.

Sometimes has the leaves of a Petilil on his head, though only one or two.


Common Clothing: Green oversized sweatshirt, black sweatpants, black sneakers with white highlights. Sometimes wears a dark green baseball cap. Sometimes replaces the green sweatshirt with a white polo and a green parka, if the temperature gets too chilly.


At times, Petilil leaves will be stuck to his sweatshirt.

Partner: ‘Queenprotea,’ shiny Lilligant

Partner's Appearance: As one would expect a shiny Lilligant to be. Generally, she holds herself quite well, and wears a monocle at all times. Despite being presumably quite an old Lilligant, Queenprotea looks the same as any recently-evolved Lilligant, for some reason.


Partner's Personality: As a ‘heirloom’ of his family that his father caught, Queenprotea might be older than Matthew is by some margin. She tends to reflect this with a very ‘traditional’ attitude — almost posh in nature, she seems to take pleasure in the little things, like a good sip of tea or a nice biscuit. She absolutely hates being inside a Poké Ball, however, and instead tends to follow Matthew around just behind him.


Other Pokemon: Assorted Petilil at home. Named after various flowers, from Bluebell to Lavender.

Personality: Akane is kind, calm, polite and very respectful to others, she does however defend her believes in a non violent way.
Appearance: straight dark red hair down to her shoulders, but her front bangs are swept back and mixed into her back hair because she likes showing her forehead. She has brown eyes, light pink skin, she is 5'4 and has a slim figure.
Common Clothing: She usually wears a blouse and capri pants with white sneakers. Unless it is winter, then she wears a loose sweater, jeans and boots.

Partner's Appearance: Her red feathers are the same color as Akane's hair. She wears a black collar with a small white metal daisy hanging from it.
Partner's Personality: Talonflame is calm and sweet. She enjoys being around her partner and having a good time with others.

Sexuality: Straight
Personality: Normally calm and sweet, but becomes much more cheerful when talking about his journeys in different regions. Takes great pleasure in exploring and finding new Pokemon, but knows when to take a break and settle down. He can often be quiet and reserved, but once he gets talking he can be hard to stop.
Likes: Exploring, meeting new people, his Pokemon. Dislikes: Repetition, pessimistic people, Vileplume.
Appearance: Short, somewhat scruffy brown hair, dark blue eyes, 5'11
Common Clothing: Normally wears an orange shirt covered by an old-looking brown vest, and blue jeans.

Other: Ray is actually a somewhat accomplished Pokemon Trainer, gathering a few different badges in several regions. He decided to take a few days off for Valentines Day.

Partner's Appearance: Normal
Partner's Personality: Peppy, does whatever she can to make people around her happy, and loves to eat. Hates it when people are sad.

Other Partner: Sunshine - F Ampharos
Partner's Appearance: A bit taller than most Ampharos, or maybe that's because she's always standing tall and rarely slouches.
Partner's Personality: In public, Sunshine is often uptight and serious, and Ray seems to be the only one that can get her to relax. She cares a lot for her trainer and has a tendency to be a bit overprotective of him. She's also a bit shy, becoming somewhat flustered when complemented. Being Ray's first Pokemon, the two share a close bond.

Name: Valentino de Coeur
Age: Somewhere between 25 and 33.
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual (but might become bisexual later)
Personality: He seems very flamboyant, mysterious and full of himself when you first meet him but he’s actually just distraught with sadness that he is lonely. Romantic.
Appearance: Tall with a goofy build. Pink or purple hair, tanned skin. Heart shaped tattoo.
Common Clothing: He’s wearing a team flare outfit with warped colours: pink or purple and in other cases white or red clothing, jacket and smart shirt, as well as start studded glasses. White gloves. Heart shape on his clothing to signify some organisation.
Worker or Customer: customer, but he can easily fit in to being a worker as he’s worked in two cafes before.
Partner: He doesn’t tend to have a partner he favours over others but the closest to it is his Swalot.
Partner's Appearance: an ordinary Pokemon with a few heart shape signs printed on.
Partner's Personality: Angry yet lonely like Valentino. Looks for Pokemon like it.
