Private/Closed A Kalos Journey... but not a normal one.

"I'm... I've been planning to be a Bug-Type trainer since I was little. Well... Bugsy was a huge influence but yeah. So, this will be a fun challenge. I will prove to be the better Bug-Type trainer!" Jackson then points in a stance as a light shined down on him. Then he noticed the others were still there.

"Sorry... I've been told to be a little hyperactive... But yeah! Let's go!!" Jackson then rushed out of the building while Virus held on for dear life. After a few seconds, Jackson rushed back into the building and scratched the back of his head in embaressment. "I... don't know where to go... hehe..." Jackson just laughed nervously as Virus looked exhausted.

Amber smiled as she recalled Ampi and started to run with Volta. "This way!" She called as she ran to route four. They might find a new electric pokemon. Not looking back to see whether the others were following or not, she ran to her destination.

Jackson stared as Amber left before he laughed. Finally, someone similar to himself... Oh wait... "Wait for me!!" Jackson booked it out of the lab before ran back and grabbed his Pokedex and Pokeballs. Finally, he rushed out and followed Amber as Virus once again hanged on for dear life. Virus' screams could be heard back at the lab.

"SLOW DOWN!!! PLEASE!!!? CAN YOU HEAR ME!?!?!?" Jackson however was focused on catching up to Amber as he followed her to route 4.

 

[Mangoez~]

“Wait up! Can I join you guys too?” Isabelle asked as she ran as fast as she could with Eevee right beside her. “Sorry, I kinda doze off, probably because my own—“ She said before Eevee then said, “Eve ee! (Don’t break the fourth wall!)

The aids gave a sigh of relief. The hyper electric trainer was gone and everything was still intact.
"Sure!" She shouted to the other trainer. "Now what electric pokemon will I find in route four, maybe a Dedenne, or an Elmoga, Ooh, ooh a maybe a Pikachu!"

Jackson stopped, turned, smiled and held his hand out for a handshake. "As Amber said, sure! Name's Jackson Webster! And this is Virus!" On que, Virus walked up Jackson's body, rested on his right shoulder... and then headbutted Jackson. "You idiot! I said to slow down!!" "Sorry! Sorry!"

Jackson then turned to the route. "Well now... time to train Virus! You ready?" "...Eh sure. Why not." Jackson almost faceplanted as he turned to Virus. "At least act excited..."

“Must be into electric types, eh?” Isabelle said to Amber as Eevee went on her shoulder.

“Nice to meet you, Jackson and Virus. The name is Isabelle, and this is my Eevee.” She said, handshaking back with Jackson.

"Yeah... she's really into electric types. Kinda like me with Bug Types... Anyways... we should get training right? I mean, this is the way to the first Gym... right?" Jackson asked Isabelle as he's been in Kalos for about a few hours.

 

[Mangoez~]

“According to my mom, yes. Being myself, I’d prefer to train via catching wild Pokémon, as it’s a great way to. Or, we could have a battle, but I kind of want to not do that yet. I guess I’m the only one who doesn’t have a type preference at all.” Isabelle said.

She chuckled. "You can find Pikachu in Santalune Forest so you can get it early before you reach Santalune city and its level could go from level 3 to 4, 5 if your lucky pure Electric type and it only evolves with a thunder stone to evolve into Raichu just like how you would evolve Eevee into Jolteon. Dedenne is on route 11 east of Geosenge town but is an electric-fairy type a well good match up because of the fairy type defensive. Emolga you can find mostly in a lot of routes and is a electric-flying type. There is also Chinchou and its evolution Lanturn a water-electric type and really packs a punch even when facing a water type, oh and of course Plusle and Minun pure electric." She paused to catch her breath.

"My sister knows a lot about Pokemon and there locations so if you have any questions on anything just ask her" Shadow added.

"What my brother says is correct, and as for bug types I would say Scatterbug which is in the Santalune forest like Pikachu and its evolution is unique, Spewpa and Vivillion, you can also find Caterpie and Weedle in the Santalune forest as well if your interested in them." She said looking to him. "There is also Ledyba, a bug-flying type" she finished seeing the new trainer catch up with them. "Greetings, I'm JC and this is Blue, my partner and Flara" "Vee!" "Kin!" "I'm Shadow, its a pleasure to meet you, meet Sparkx my partner and Froakie" he answered before they started to walk into route 4.

"I don't mind any type just the favorite ones of mine" JC added. "So your not the only one" she smiled.

Jackson stared at Isabelle before he turned to Virus and then back to Isabelle. "I don't know... I just got Virus and let's face it... Wurmple are made to evolve early. I'm not gonna win any trainer battles soon." Virus looked slightly offended before he sighed. "Yeah... I'm not that strong right now... I'd say train for now." Jackson nodded before he came to a conclusion.

"...Be right back!" With that, Jackson rushed away.

After a few minutes, he rushed back all excited. Virus was no longer on his shoulder as he gripped onto a Pokeball. "Here we go!" As he tossed the Pokemon, released was... a Dustox! "Yeah baby! Virus is ready for battle!"

Jackson then bowed. "And for my next trick, I shall release a Bug type I found on this route!" So, Jackson tossed another Pokeball to reveal... a Combee! "Hello~ My name Royal. Pleasure to meet you."

"Definitely go to Slatune Forest. Nice way to get a Pikachu, not sure if I'll use it throughout my journey, though." Amber said to herself. "Hmm, any other electric types that I'm forgetting. Oh, right Rotom, Magmaton, Voltorb, Pacuesu, Electrike, Joltik, and Stunfisk. Oh, my a Dusttox already! Volta, we need to catch up!"

“I’m not going to fall behind!” Isabelle said. “Be right back!”

Isabelle ran to train Eevee as hard as she could. She even encountered a Rats and after a few more turns of battle, each Eevee and Ralts going hard. The Ralts soon got caught after a little bit.

“I’m back! Got a Ralts here!” She said.

(OCC: Oh, my I'm so conflicted right now I know I already have Ampi, but I would love it if he was a shiny [never said he wasn't] but a professor wouldn't give a child a shiny right?)
"I'm going to Satalune Forest if anyone needs me." Amber said angerly. Both of her pokemon needed training and she was going to train them. Even if she had to leave the group for a bit.

Jackson sighed at the chaos he started. "Man... go to train Virus to catch up with the others and this happens." Virus shrugged as he landed on Jackson's head. "Yeah, but now you're the only one with an evolved Pokemon." "Yeah, I guess you're right."

Jackson then turned to Amber and ran to catch up. "Hey, wait for me! I'll come with you!"

"Fine. Just don't scare off any Pikachus got it."Amber was upset due to all her pokemon being default level. She knew this because her Pokedex can track levels. "Volta I want you to use tackle on that Bunnelby." A fight ensued with Amber being the winner. She continued on her path, knocking out any pokemon that got in her way.

Jackson gulped as he noticed Amber upset. "Sorry... I just... well... you have to realize that Wurmple is way behind the rest of the early Pokemon. I kinda needed to evolve him to catch up... please don't be made at me."

However, as he noticed she was not listening, he sighed. 'Great job Jackson... make your first friend mad...'

 

[Mangoez~]

“And they’re gone. Welp. I guess I’ll just stay my lonely self.” Isabelle said as she strolled only around Route 4 as she approached Santalune from a closer distance.

Both of her Pokémon were in her Poké Balls as she strolled around the route as it was clear morning now as the sun shined brightly.

JC and Shadow saw the trainers run off into Santalune Forest as they both sighed. "Well, we can't fall behind now can we Shadow" "No, falling behind is not an option"He answered her chuckling. "Let's follow before they get themselves lost" she said running after them as Blue and Flara ran behind her. "Wait up sis!"Shadow said following after her along with Sparkx and Froakie following behind him. Shadow and JC trained well in the Santalune forest getting decent levels as JC managed to capture a Fletchling she nicknamed Talk also getting her up some levels. Shadow and JC waited at the end of Santalune Forest for the other trainers to catch up so they won't become lost. "They seem to be having fun training their Pokemon so we'll wait" JC said looking to her brother. "I suppose, we are their guild after all"he answered.-

Amber was listening, but she was pretending not to. She understood why he had Virus evolve, she just was upset she was behind everyone with two level five pokemon. Well, one level five and a level seven. She entered Satalue Town and went straight for the forest instead. There she would find a Pikachu, and maybe Jackson would find a pokemon he would like. "We have to be quiet in here" she whispered, which was unusual for her. "Don't want to scare off any of the rarer pokemon."

Jackson sighed as he followed Amber in silence. How things ended up this way, he couldn't understand. One minute, the two were becoming best friends. Now, it seemed like Jackson was on his own again. Jackson looked up and noticed that Amber was gone.

"Great... stuck in a forst alone in a region I don't know anything about. I can't stand this!" Suddenly, the ground under Jackson fell as he tumbled down into a river. "AHHHH!!! OWWWWW!!!" The river then pushed Jackson away as he was swept to a different area of the forest. As Jackson lifted himself up, he stared at a strange Bug type. "...What are you?"

"Names Tide. Tide the Wimpod... kinda lost... and alone..." "...That makes two of us."

Amber noticed Jackson was no longer following her. "He's in the middle of a forest in a region he knows next to nothing about. I gotta help him. JACKSON JACKSON WHERE ARE YOU?" After hearing a scream she ran towards it until she saw a Pikachu. She looked at the electric rodent and the direction of the scream. Pikachu was rare so she might not find another one "Ampi, let's go. We are going to catch that mouse then we are going to find Jackson."

"OK, where could that bug catcher be? Aha! There he is! Oh, great Arcus I was so scared! Don't disappear like that in a forest!"

Jackson sighed as he sat on the edge of the river. He was soaked head to toe as Tide was on his lap. "And then she got mad and wouldn't talk to me! Then I fell into the river and here I am..."

Tide chuckled in Jackson's lap. "Don't worry man. She's probably just very competitive. I mean, you become friends with someone then hate them? ...Nah... she's just determined to catch up." "...Yeah, I guess you're right... so where are you from?" "Alola man. But I prefer here. By the way, here comes that friend of yours."

"Don't you hey me! Where were you? I was so worried! Oh, who's your new friend? I can show you my new family member. Come on out Zip!" Amber loudly said the whole time.

"Is'nt he adorable? I'm going to need three pokemon for the first gym, so I caught this little guy!" Amber had a big smile on her face again. Catching a pokemon really made her feel better. However, she was still worried about Jackson. Was he hurt? Did he get robbed? Did an evil team forced him to join their evil plot?!

"Oh... well... this is Tide. He's a Wimpod. As for earlier..." Jackson pointed to the part of the land near the edge where he falled into the river. "I kinda fell..." Jackson then turned back to Amber. "But I should be fine... though... I guess now you're gonna go back to being mad at me? Tide says that's not the case, but with my track record... I'm still not sure."

"Be mad? I was never mad at you, I was mad at myself! I just saw everyone having stronger pokemon than me, and I didn't like being the weakest link. That's all! In fact, your the first person who was able to keep up with my, hyperactiveness! So being mad at you is almost impossible! I mean unless we run into a Joltik or something!" Amber replied happily. "Trust me, if I was truly mad at you, I wouldn't have gone looking for you." Volta looked at her trainer and Jackson. Both of them full of energy, and love a single type. And yet they were also very different. Amber took a shunning and turned it into positive energy while Jackson took a- well Volta didn't truly know- and turned it to almost negative. Volta was glad her trainer could find someone with about the same amount of energy as her.

"...He. Yeah, sorry. Just... not used to the whole friends thing. I'm the same as you since everyone back home called me a 'Bug' and annoying. But now... I'm gonna prove myself. So yeah... sorry about all that. Now, let's gooooAHHH!!!" Jackson walked a few steps before he slips and landed on his back. As this occured, Tide was flung into the air before he landed on Jackson's face.

"...Not a word..."

Amber chuckled a little. "Of course not. Just you're going to owe me later." She said with a wink. "Anyway, there are TONS of bug types here! if you want to catch one I suggest you do so. Me, I have to wait until route nine until my next catch. Unless someone just gives electric pokemon away. Now, who would do that?" Amber continued. She was happy to have a friend, especially one who got over her little anger spill.

Jackson pulled himself off the ground before he stopped. "Actually... As much as I'd like a new encounter... I'm kinda against add one to my team right now. I mean, I got three Bug Types now... but if I get too many, then it'll take forever to train them up. You know?" Jackson then imagined him with an army of Bug-types. However, a few stood out in the see of Bug types.

"I'll still catch the bug types here... but I'm not gonna use them yet." Jackson stated this as he threw a Pokeball and captured a Weedle.

"Understandable. I guess having so few electric types to choose from has its perks. I don't have to worry about training too many at a time!" Abber commented. "Well before I take on the gym, I want to level Volta to ten, Ampi to nine, and Zip to eight." Amber stated before going to take out Fletchlings and Pigeys.

"That's a good idea. Personally, I want to double check everyone and train them." Jackson looked down at the Pokedex before he noticed something. "...Tide... please tell me I'm seeing this wrong..." "Hmm? Oh yeah, no. That's right." Jackson stops before he grabs his head and groans. "26 levels... 26 levels before you learn a new move... because you don't learn moves till you evolve."

However, something else caught Jackson's attention. "...Huh? How do you have these moves?" "Good old pops was a Carracosta man." "...I can work with this."

"Good idea, let me check my pokemon's moves. Ampi can use Thunder Shock, Thunder Wave, Growl, and Tackle, while Zip can use Tail Whip, Thunder Shock, Play Nice and Growl. Zip will learn Quick Attack at level ten and Volta will learn Spark at level 13. Both Volta and Ampi will evolve at level fifteen. Hmm, Nice! However, once Zip evolves, he won't learn any new moves. So keep him a Pikachu until level fifty-eight." Amber said to herself.

She sighed figuring that the three trainers were lost so her and her brother searched around the forest again. She sent out Tali to search in the air until she came back once she found them. She seemed to have saw a Scatterbug before she gently reached her hand out to it before it crawled out on her shoulder. Tali lead the way before finding the three. "Finally found you guys, seems you have gotten lost already hehe, oh and Jackson I seemed to have found this Scatterbug a bit lonely. "Scatterbug!("yes I was") he answered before crawling down off her shoulder to Jackson. "You can add him if you want, Jackson, he has a very unique evolution" she said.

"Are you alright there Jackson?" Shadow asked. "You seemed to have fallen and now you look wet"he added as Tali landed on Jackson's lap to check if he was alright. "Fletchling!("He looks alright, that's a relief") Tali said chirping.-

As they encoutered the others, Jackson let his Pokemon train on the wild mons. "I'm fine. As for Scatterbug, I gotta be careful. Got three Pokemon already. But yeah... I'll call you Whispy." After getting a Caterpie and catching the Scatterbug to join the hive later, Jackson turned to his team. "Hmm... We got level 12, 10, & 9. I'd say that's pretty good."

"Ok then, are we ready to head back? Because I want to try my team against the first gym!" Amber exclaimed.
"Just as energetic as usual." Volta thought.
Amber ran back to town to challenge the first gym.

She sighed. "She is going to get lost again, come on guys lets hurry and catch up with her, brother lets go!" She said returning Tali before following after Amber as Blue ran beside her. Suddenly, However she felt a sudden aura as a voice spoke to her. "-Someone help, please!?-" the feminine voice said. She was determined to found out where that voice came from before she had arrived in Santalune city.
Shadow looked back to make sure the others were following. "Hurry guys, don't get lost again!"he called out. "Eevee!("Hurry up!").-

Meanwhile, Isabelle was training as she arrived down at Santalune City to challenge the gym. She figured that everyone would meet at the gym, so when she arrived to the city, she immediately went to the gym, but what she didn’t realize that it wasn’t open yet. It was going to open in 10 minutes, however, so she decided to wait. However, during her training she caught a Skitty.

She arrived in Santalune city as Isabelle was already at the gym. She came to a stop once she felt a strong aura as the voice spoke to her again. "-Someone help me! Please!-" she said. "Shadow stay with Isabelle until I return" she told her brother before she ran off into route 22 as Blue followed next to her.

"A certain Pokemon was calling for her or she felt an strong aura calling her." She told Isabelle. "She understands Pokemon very well and will do anything to help them...that's how special she is...you would be lucky to have a friend like her..." He said trusting his sister.

She made her way further into route 22 until she saw a Riolu and Litleo somehow defending the Riolu. She went up to it slowly. "Litleo!(Stand back!) the Litleo said sounding female. "Its alright, I'm not going to hurt you two" she said raising her hand up. "Riolu...(-It's ok Litleo....I called for help)" she said. "So it was your aura I felt and voice" "Riolu...(yes...)" She said. "Your hurt, here let me help you" she said quickly pulling out her potion to help with her injuries. She gently lifted up the Riolu before running off but Litleo followed her back to her brother and the others holding the Riolu in her hands.-

“I would, indeed. Must be some trouble happening there, unfortunately. Anyways, the gym is closed at the moment and it going to open soon. In 4 minutes now, exactly.” Isabelle said as Eevee got out of her Poké Ball.

Amber decided to go sightseeing until she heard a squeal of pain. She decided to run to the noise.
"Toge." A small Togedemaru with a unique coloring was injured on the side of the road outside town
"What is a Togedemaru doing in Kalos? Poor thing, let me bring you to the center." Amber gently lifted the small hedgehog pokemon and brought him to the Pokemon Center. Hopefully, she could find this pokemon's trainer. It couldn't be wild because Togedemuru lives in Alola, not Kalos! And who would abandon a pokemon?
