Do NOT ask if you can join an RP on the RP thread itself! This leads to a lot of unnecessary OOC chatter and that's not what the RP boards are for.

Quick Bio:
Name: Azalea, but she goes by Azzy
Pronouns: She/Her or They/Them
Species: Octo
Team: None
Appearance: Pale skin, dark silver eyes, and a hair style similar to the 'curly fries' style in Splatoon 3, colored cyan. A small patch of skin on her right forearm is colored blue, but her jacket usually hides it.
Gear: Golden toothpick, FA-01 jacket, Annaki arachno boots
Weapon: Clear Dapple Dualies
Personality: She's quick witted, but a little shy as well. She doesn't like being in small spaces. She often completely disregards any plan thrown their way, and she may seem a little rude, but she doesn't mean be, and is just bad at expressing herself. Can be a childish nerd when she starts talking about her interests. She's actually pretty good with her Dualies, and has decent aim with a Charger.

Azzy shivered, not liking the flashbacks she got as she rode the train from her nearby apartment to Inkopolis Square. The combination of an extremely tight space, plus the memories of where she'd been, didn't make the train ride to the Square pleasant, so she often walked, but she needed to hurry today. The spots for front-liners would fill up quickly, and while she could maybe impress a captain with her sniping, it wasn't likely.
She took in a deep breath. The ride couldn't be much longer, right? As if the jellyfish driver had read her mind, a small, automated voice came on over the speakers. Her Inkling wasn't that good yet, but she was pretty sure it'd said that they would be stopping at the Square next.
Oh, thank cod. She mental sighed, pulling her weapon bag farther up her shoulder as the train began slowing to a stop. When the train finally reached the station, Azzy was one of the first ones out as she made a beeline for Deca tower.

Bio:
Name: Tai-Shao. Tai for short, he rarely uses his full first name.
Pronouns: He/Him.
Species: Octoling
Team: None.
Appearance: Light-skinned, light brown eyes, maybe 1 or 2 inches under average height, and the classic octoling boy hairstyle, colored light red. He has a birthmark patch around his left eye, a darker skin tone then the rest of his skin. His ears are almost always drooping slightly. His upper fang is a bit larger than the rest of his teeth, and it sometimes pokes out of his mouth.
Gear: White Headband, Red Vector Tee, Yellow Seahorses.
Weapon: Splattershot.
Personality: Tai-Shao is rather soft-spoken, unsure of himself in situations he has to communicate with others. He prefers to stay quiet and allow anyone else to speak, against actually doing so himself. Sometimes he’ll try to initiate a conversation if he’s confident enough to do so, but it’s rare he actually does try. Once he’s gotten more used to someone’s company, he speaks up a bit more, but remains rather timid and stand-offish. He gets flustered and pressured easily, and he’s afraid of making decisions for himself. But he’s rather sweet in the end, and wants to get better at speaking so he can makes friends. He wants to be the best he can at Turf Wars, wanting to impress anyone who ever though he wouldn’t do it.

Tai stepped out of the train after a bit, glancing around and he followed the crowd that jumped out as well. He looked up at Deca Tower in awe, holding his Splattershot close. He took notice of the many people that seemed to have gotten off the train at the same time, stepping off to the side.
He adjusted the backpack he was wearing, scratching at his arm nervously. He didn’t really know what to do after this point, realizing he didn’t really have a team of his own. He knew there’d likely be a language barrier between him and all the others, and he didn’t even know if he’d be able to talk without freaking out.
Tai sighed shakily, shaking himself off, trying to convince himself he’d be fine. He made it this far, moving all the way here. He would be okay. Hopefully. He just needed teammates.

Azzy nervously fidgeted with her jacket zipper. She'd only been in the actual heart of Inkopolis Square, Deca Tower, once or twice, and, at the time, there were only a few teams practicing and some stragglers gearing up to battle with some Randoms. Now, the place was full to the brim with Inklings and Octolings alike.
She took a small step into the lobby, trying to reassure herself that it was going to be fine, and that this many people meant that many more teams recruiting. It also meant that spaces would fill up quicker, but she tried not to think about that as she continued forward, traveling deeper into the mob of cephalopods.

Tai took a deep breath before beginning to steadily move through the large crowds of kids, and towards the lobby. It was way more crowded then his liking, but he could deal with it. It was just a bunch of people he didn't know, couldn't tell how strong they were, and wouldn't know if they wanted him dead...yeah, it wasn't the best of situations at all. He clutched his bag tighter, looking up at the tower in front of him. He was ready as he'd ever be.
He took his first steps into the lobby, looking around in awe. It was his first time coming to Inkopolis, let alone even SEEING the lobby's inside. His eyes were lit up in excitement, but it soon faded when he realized he didn't understand how it worked. He just needed a team, right? He nervously moved over to a corner to get away from the mob of people, looking around to observe his options.
