~~~~~Andrew & Lily~~~~~
Lily could sense the girl meant her apology, and in truth it was pointless to blame her for anything. She wanted to win and pass the exam like anyone else, so her doing what she could and using her power to try and get a bell is what you were
supposed to do.
"I don't blame you for that, we get it. No reason to hold a grudge over it, right Andrew? Andrew?" Lily asked, as Andrew however still seemed to be shaking in place; his fists balled as more of that dark aura leaked from his body. Andrew had barley heard Riley's words or Lily's for that matter as that nightmare Riley made him see brought back bitter memories.
A-andrew....h-help....help me....
"SHUT UP! You have no idea what it means to see that! For you it was just some nightmare you never have to see again, a fleeting terror. For me it is what I have to live with, my curse. It's my life! You couldn't begin to imagine....!" Andrew yelled, but was cut off when some vines cut him off from any further advance towards Riley.
"Andrew, the last thing we need is a pointless fight. I don't know what your problem is, but we need to keep a cool head." Lily advised Andrew as she glanced over to Riley.
"Apologies. Maybe we can talk this out rather than come to blows?" Lily advised, as if she could escape this situation without a fight on her end and possibly more that had been all too desirable. Andrew kept his scowl, and his aura had yet to fade...
~~~~~Ash~~~~~
Ash saw someone in the air that Kendra launched an attack at, and quickly went to aid her friend as she extended her arms and fired a wave of her bad luck power as an unseen pulse towards Benjy.
She could not hurt him directly with her power, but she hoped it would caused the alien student to grow unlucky and perhaps collide with Kendra's Bolas. Ash already felt the hair stand on the back of her neck, but she had to put the fear aside and do what she could to help Kendra.
~~~~~Serenity~~~~~
Serenity continued to travel along the tree tops, trying to find any curious signs that might lead to other students. And up ahead, she seemed to find just that. As a certain area began to dark just before she entered its path, she stopped dead in its tracks and began to ponder what the next move was.
Serenity formed some crystals in her palm, as she decided she knew what it was. Given she could not trace a source that generated this shadow ahead & below her, nor could she see a visible source. She figured she could try to flush it out and fired half a dozen small crystal shards towards the shadow.
In the next moment, she jumped to the tree next to her and looked to hide among the leaves to see if she could remain out of sight while she scouted to see if that would be enough to draw whoever made the shadows out of hiding.
~~~~~Diego~~~~~
Diego flinched when the girl turned around, as he ducked behind a tree and had half wondered if she saw him. Fortunately, it appeared the girl missed him as she turned back around and continued forward.
Whether she was playing dumb or had been oblivious mattered not, as Diego saw opportunity. Quickly once her back had been turned to him he dashed out to the side as he coated his right arm in steel and took a swing right for a tree ahead of him but to the side of the girl.
Crack!
The base of the tree cracked clean through, as Diego caused the tree to wobble and began to topple over towards the girl. If Diego was lucky, the girl would be forced to dodge or even use her power to save herself from the tree which would leave her open for him to follow it up with a quick strike. Diego had the belief that he who makes the decisive first strike wins the day, and he hoped to apply that here and now in an effort to get his first bell.
