Private/Closed Dragon Ball Burst

“How surprising, somebody here had the dignity to introduce themselves to me. My name is Diover, and it is a pleasure to meet your acquaintance, Lao.” Diover bower a bit as he spoke, showing even demons and devils can have manners. “I’m not sure just what the hell was going on to cause that massive ball of energy, but I am somewhat glad to see that it is gone...it’d be a pain to try and escape an exploding planet with the wounds I sustained...” Diover looked over his arms and chest, and scowled at how battered his coat had become.

"You are not the only one. At least the ki sphere is gone." Lao looked over his body, filled with scraches and holes. "I noticed something... you look like a demon. Are you from the demon realm?" Lao glanced at Diover's body. "I know that because I already killed some, that were much weaker than you." He said, not trying to sound more powerful than Diover, but to sound like he can acknowledge Diover's power.

“You are correct. Both Damunga and I are demons, originating from the demon realm. It is not surprising to hear you have killed other demons, a majority of them are power-hungry fools to begin with.” Diover began to take a bit of an interest in Lao, seeing as how he had brought himself to make such a conversation with someone the first time he met them, especially for a demon such as Diover.

Damunga naturally entered the ship and decided to get some training off as he made his way inside the gravity chamber. Arcie would enter the pilot's seat as she began to prep the controls though had yet to turn on the engines as she allowed the "crew" to get settled first. Arcie saw Damunga on her monitors and had already seen that aimed for some training as he began to set the settings on the gravity machine which caused her to let out a sigh.

This guy needs a hobby...

"I'm no stranger to see some 'weird' races. But well, I didn't kill them for being fools. I killed them because I worked to Infant. Even though most of them really needed to die, I also killed innocents." He said, awkardly looking at the sides. That was a personal thing he just told Diover, but Lao needed to forget about that. "Anyways, you should be, either strong or brave to go around being a demon. Many people dispise demons, because of a stereotype." Lao quickly changed the focus of the talk to another thing.

“I see...there is another option to being a demon, other than being strong or brave like you said. A demon can be smart, cunning, and decieving. We can wrap ourselves around someone, make them believe we are an ally, or simply make them somas we say out of fear.”

Diover discussed this with Lao as he entered the ship, noticing Damunga in the gravity chamber. “I, personally, respect myself too much to go about using brute force, for I believe that will only result in arrogance. If you would excuse me, I’d like to see what Damunga is doing in that bizarre room over there.” He said, nodding toward the chamber.

Celacion had just finished his discussion with the royal council and was on his way back towards the others when Lute came to him. "Hey Lute, I finished talking to the council and they thank you for your help too, thought their pride is in pieces right now." Celacion said with a bit of humour. "So why did you come see me?" He asked.

"I was wondering if you might be able to come with Ken." Lute asked. "From what I've seen, he's studying Saiyans but his research is incomplete. Maybe you being around could help him out a bit."

Celacion heard Lute's question. "Sure, that was actually what I was going to ask when I got back." He explained. "I believe that I will definitely get stronger if I travelled with you guys." Celacion added. He then pulled something out from behind him. "Oh and I found this on my way back. I think its one of your Dragon Balls." He said as he handed Lute a round stone.

"Perfect, this makes my job easier." Lute replied, grabbing the dormant Dragon Ball. "I'll track down the rest of them and meet you back at the ship."

Meanwhile, aboard the Nighthawk...
Ken flipped the last switch, and the ship began to stir to life.
"Well, looks like we're ready to head back home." Ken said with a smile.
"Yeah, that was pretty wild... though all things considered, a bit underwhelming." Ji replied. "And to think, you didn't even get to test out your secret project."
"I'll get to, soon." Ken smirked, looking at the large object covered by the white drape. "I can tell we'll be seeing those folks again, after all..."

[END ARC 1: TUFFLE ARC]

Damunga had been working on the gravity setting, as he aimed for around 100x Normal Gravity to add on to where he last left off and because it was the current maximum setting, before he heard a familiar voice as he glanced behind him and saw Diover approach the gravity chamber though Damunga seemed indifferent to this.

"Take it you are either exploring the place or just tailing me." Damunga replied with natural sarcasm as he finished configurations but had yet to turn the enhanced gravity on.

“I’m simply curious, friend. I’m case you forgot we were allies at one point.” Diover gave a smirk as he enetered the room. “Do tell me, what makes this room so special? All I can see is some sort of a control panel, though I doubt this is what would be considered innovative decorating.” Diover cracked his neck from side to side, examining the area he was in.

Icicure had already gotten herself comfortable in Arcie's ship, and decided to follow Damunga's lead and do some training.

Ever since the battle with Infant, she realized that there are many great foes out there, and that you should always be ready for when those foes come. If she wanted to protect her friends with the power she has, then she is going to need to go beyond power that she already knows she possesses.

Icicure then flew towards the direction of the gravity room with a towel and water bottle ready for after her training regimen, only to see Damunga ready to start his training in the room as well. She also noticed someone else, who had ki very similar to that of Damunga's, but was still different in a way.

"Hi there, Damunga!" Icicure said, "It looks like you're ready to do some training! What setting will you have the gravity room be in this time?"
Icicure then looked towards Diover, and said, "Why, hello there. You must be the same race as Damunga, a pleasure to meet you. My name is Icicure." Icicure then took her hand out as a motion to shake Diover's hand.

“It’s a pleasure, my name is Diover.” Diover reached out and shook Icicure’s hand before returning his gaze to Damunga. “Control over gravity, that is contained in such a small room? I’m impressed. If you don’t mind,I’d like to experience this affect first hand.” Diover took off his coat and folded it up as he set it in the corner of the room, seeing as how Icicure had also prepared somewhat. “I take it the affect will be more than twentyfold of the current gravity...right?” Diover asked as he cocked his brow.

"Actually Diover....try one-hundred fold." Damunga replied with a smirk before he flipped the gravity on and suddenly pressure that measured one hundred times the standard gravity would press against anyone who had been in the room.

Naturally, Damunga had thought little of just how much the gravity would have effected him as he quickly fell to a knee as he felt the nearly overwhelming force press against each and every square inch of his body. Damunga gritted his teeth as he focused on trying not to allow the gravity to crush him and slam his body to the floor.

I...I won't allow...worthless gravity to defeat me!

Damunga managed to get to his feet, but struggled to move as he focused on just keeping himself standing which proved to be not so simply given the intense amount of pressure generated by the gravity.

Diover staggered quite noticeably as Damunga flipped the switch, stumbling forward somewhat. He regained his footing for the most part, though he was under immense stress. “Dammit, a warmup could have helped...maybe I should have ate one of your healing beans before entering here...” he mumbled, trying to return to an upright posture.

Sasha was headed towards the gravity room until she saw Icicure go into it. She stopped in her tracks with a slight blush and sighed in relief since Icicure didn't see her. She put hand over her heart and felt it beating a bit faster. 'What's wrong with me?' She thought to herself, 'Why was I so flustered?' After the kiss she had with Icicure, Sasha couldn't look at her the same way as she did before. After a few minutes of leaning against the wall, thinking to herself, she decided to go talk to Arcie about this. Mainly because she was the only other person who she trusts with this kind of information.

Sasha made her way to the cockpit and entered. There she saw Arcie. "Arcie, can I....talk to you about something?" She asked, starting to feel unsure about this.

"Darn it Damunga what have I told you about just turning on high gravity with people in there with you! Diover could die in there you know!" Arcie yelled over the intercom before she had let out a sigh. Clearly Damunga's style of just turning on the gravity within the gravity room had still bothered her before she heard the voice of Sasha as she began engine prep before she flipped back to Sasha and offered a smile.

"Sure, was about to get this baby off the ground but I am willing to hear anything you have to say." Arcie said, as she had taken note of Sasha's nervous expression which seemed...a bit weird considering what she had seen of Sasha till now but kept that thought to herself as she allowed herself to be an open ear to listen to what Sasha had to say.

----------
Damunga had overheard Arice's cry of concern before he tilted his head towards Diover as he voiced his grievance over the lack of a warm-up.

"Wouldn't have m-mattered, ran out of beans healing I-Icicure and Sasha. I-If this is too much for you, I'll shut this thing off so you can leave and come back to a more modest setting that fits your comfort level." Damunga replied with gritted teeth due to the gravity's pressure, though it had been more of a tease rather than a genuine offer of reassurance towards his fellow demon as Damunga focused on trying to walk within the gravity. Which proved to be a rather hard task as Damunga barley managed to get a foot forward before he was stuck in place once again.

“D-don’t think lightly of me, boy.” Diover gritted his teeth as well, hi ki sparking around his body. “Unlike s-some people, I-I’ve learned how to adapt to things.” Diover managed to take about a step and a half before gravity took its toll on him again, making him nearly fall to the floor as he struggled to stand up once more.

Sasha smiled at Arcie after hearing that she would listen to her. "Well, lately I've been getting this....weird feeling whenever I'm around Icicure," she began, already with a slight blush, "I've been getting this feeling after we defeated Infant. Remember when you gave me the two Senzu Beans? Well, I....sort of.....fed it to her.....with my....mouth...." Her blush grew deeper after admitting that to Arcie.

Icicure had to admit, she was surprised that Damunga had already made it to 100x gravity. It certainly was a big jump, but Icicure decided this was the best chance for her to improve.

Icicure immediately started doing one-handed push-ups, changing between arms after 1000 rounds. The intense gravity definitely didn't make it easy on her, but she could feel her muscles improving through her experience in the room.

After 10,000 rounds, Icicure then reverted to doing handstand push-ups. She kept slowly rising her power, so that the pressure of the room didn't crush her entirely.

Damunga gritted his teeth as the gravity's pressure had been a lot to bare, but as he saw Icicure began to "casually" do some pushups before him Damunga had been determined to not allow her to show her up to this degree as he took a deep breath as he began to pump a little ki which allowed him to walk around the room. Damunga even forced himself to begin practicing some kicks which had been sluggish due to the pressure of the gravity but he managed to do it which was a good step if nothing else.

----------
As Arcie listened to Sasha explain her feelings that concerned Arcie, the young girl had an indifferent expression on her face...that quickly faded into a cheeky grin especially when she heard of this "lip contact between the two." Despite her age, the blush that Arcie had combined with her expression seemed to show she had an idea of what Sasha was talking about.

"I see, well my gramps used to tell me he felt the same way in his younger days. Gave a certain word to it, one starting with an "L" that I think works here." Arcie said, though she kept it vague as she figured Sasha would have been able to catch onto what she was saying.

“Ngh...If you’re allowed to boost your ki that much, I’ll do it too...” Diover instantly surrounded himself in his ki, and he almost instantly was able to walk around. “Heh... gotta love having an ability that lets me acclimate in between your heartbeats...” Diover began to do some basic kick and punch combos, though they too were a bit slow. “To think I’d actually struggle against physics... I adore this style of training already...”

Sasha was getting the feeling that Arcie knows why she's feeling like this, but was bit annoyed that the young Arcosian was being vague about it. "It starts with an "L" huh?" Sasha said. She thought about for a bit and couldn't figure out the word Arcie was implying towards. "Oh just tell me, please!?" She asked a bit desperately.

Icicure was really starting to feel the pressure of the room. It was quite straining, to be honest, and she was building up quite the sweat. She then noticed Damunga and Diover start to train as well, and how they conversed with each other. They seemed to be quite familiar with one another, and Icicure wanted to know why.

"So, what's the story with you two?" Icicure asked as she changed from doing excerises to sparring in the air.

Damunga began to kick and punch a bit in place at a slightly faster pace before he overheard Icicure's question which caused Damunga to think it over before he got on his back by his own will to set up some sit ups.

"W-we knew each other w-when I once resided within the demon realm. Mingled often when we were young i-in spite of the different clans we came from." Damunga explained with gritted teeth due to the pressure of the gravity as he began to perform some sit ups while he explained this to Icicure.

----------
Arcie sighed as it seemed Sasha was oblivious to her implication. Then again, given her warrior ways she really should not be surprised if her and others here lacked that kind of...intimate knowledge.

"Well, to make it rather blunt, the way my gramps felt about the girl in that story seems similar to how you feel around Icicure. I think you like her, no...more than like her. I think you are in love!" Arcie said at last with a big giggle and a cheeky grin as she waited to see how Sasha would react to that.

Diover speed up his pace a bit as he became accustomed to the gravity, and started doing a bit more advanced moves. “Now that you know our story, how'd you all meet? I’m still entirely in the dark for almost everyone in this group.” Diover wiped his brow, though he was impressed with how well he was doing for his first time in a gravity chamber.

Icicure was still practicing her usual techniques, but answered Diover. "The story is quite a long one, but, to keep it short, we all basically met in the planet known as Acrosia. Through unusual circumstances, we were all able to meet up with one another. For example, I met Damunga from him battling against people on the streets. I thought he was ruthless, but now that I've talked to him some more, I've been able to see how he truly is."

Icicure then started shooting ki-blasts that were directee at her from afar, and she started blocking and dodging them.

Sasha took a few seconds to process what Arcie just said and her blush went into a deep red blush. "L-L-L-Love!!?" She said in a shocked. She had a feeling that would be the case but didn't want to believe it at first. "No no no no no no! That can't be true!" She said very quickly as she is clearly flustered from the thought, "I mean- there's nothing wrong with Icicure! It's just we've only known each other for a short time, that it's too early to develop feelings for her, right!? Even if she's strong, brave, nice....kind.....caring.....and she also has....a great personality...." At this point, Sasha was zoning out as she looked to the side and thought about Icicure.

"I simply desired to see if those villagers had anyone worth while to fight. Lost me temper when they seemed reluctant and figured if I pushed them they would push back. Though even the ones that did fight proved to weak for what I desired at the time." Damunga explained as he began to perform sit-ups while his body, slowly, got used to the intense gravity.

----------
Arcie giggled a bit, though not in a way that she was so much laughing at Sasha but rather found the Saiyan's flustered denials to be rather cute. That blush only added to the appeal as even when Sasha denied her feelings she went back to giving Icicure all the compliments which made it rather obvious that Sasha did love her.

"Really, cause what you are saying seem to clash with how you feel. Well not too much, you seem to have a high opinion of Icicre do you not?" Arcie asked with a grin.

“How odd. I never considered you would do something so brutish, even if it is in our races nature. I do believe I have heard of arcosia, Perhaps of an emperor or tyrant of some sort from there. Regardless, I doubt I’d ever run into some sort of monstrous opponent from that planet, even if I go exploring with you lot.” Diover lay down and started doing crunches, feeling quite good about the bonuses gravity training likely does for the body.

Icicure looked away when Diover mentioned the emperor of the planet Acrosia.

Father.

Icicure tried her best to try and ignore her memories, but it was proving to be quite difficult. She had a clear face of disgust, but she refrained from trying to say anything, as she didn't want to make her situation even worse. She just continued with her exercises.

Lao saw how the conversation between Arcie and Sasha was going. He couldn't understand love, being way too advanced for just a machine like him, but he could understand that they were having a deep talk. He quickly walked to the gravity chamber.

As he give his first step onto the chamber, his body quickly fell to the ground. "W-What is that?!" He said, slowly creating an aura around him, as he slowly started to get up. He first put his knees on the ground, then the hands, and then he started to push his body upwards, until he felt his body getting a bit more used to the place, even though he was almost at his limit.

As he finally could stand still, he started to give slow punches, that became gradually faster and faster. Lao could feel getting stronger and more used to the gravity. He then started to train movements (Kung-fu moves.), and started to do punches, kicks, and movements all together. He definetly felt stronger, and with less weight on his body.

"Is this a room with indenpent gravity from the rest of the ship? Interesting..." He said, continuing to train. "I gladly ask your name, arcosian. Mine is Lao, and it's a pleasure to meet you." The robot said, giving heavy steps and looking at Icicure.

While Icicure was deep in her thoughts and training, she failed to notice the cyborg that had appeared right next to her. While she threw a punch and a kick, she was about to hit the cyborg, but was able to stop herself.

Icicure then made herself stay still when she noticed what she had done, but this caused her to lose focus, which caused her to fall unto the floor due to the pressure.

"Pardon me," Icicure said as she slowly started to get up, "Please excuse my behavior. My name is Icicure. I pressume you also met up with Damunga when I went to go fight against TR-05 or Infant."

Arcie was right. Sasha couldn't hide her feelings towards Icicure. She sat down in defeat and wrapped her arms around her legs with a slight groan. This was an embarrassing moment for Sasha. The way she's acting now goes against her own nature. "Your right Arcie....." She admitted, "But what do I do? I don't think I have the courage to tell her how I feel...."

"That's right. I see you are an arcosian. It is 'strange' to see one, as most live in the..." He said, quickly realizing what made Icicure punch Lao was the mentioning of planet Acrosia, so he made sure he just shutted up before things got worse. He continued to train, recognizing how awkward his introduction to her was.

Damunga had also taken note that any mention towards her home-world seemed to elicit a negative reaction from her and had decided it was wise not to chime in about it. Damunga had known himself all too well how unwise it had been to deal with personal troubles as he instead focused on some push-ups; as his body got used to the gravity, Damunga began to lower his ki which made the pressure more intense but it allowed Damunga the ability to train without that security blanket which he figured would benefit him in the long term.

----------
Arcie dropped her giggling when she heard Sasha admit her feelings, which she figured was a bit step, as she leaned forward and placed a comforting hand on Sasha as she offered the Saiyan a warm smile.

"I understand, I am not the most experienced with these feelings, but gramps said he was a ball of nerves and afraid to so much as speak to his crush. The best advice I can give based on his stories is to just let things play out. Take some time to sort out those feelings, to be comfortable around Icicure and not let how you feel cause you anxiety or cloud your thinking. Give yourself time to develop that courage to say how you feel to Icicure when you are ready. I am certain Icicure will be quite understanding, regardless of what she may respond with when you are ready to face her." Arcie said, as she tried to give the Saiyan some romantic advice though she only had the capacity to hope what she said was sound.

Celacion waited for Ken to answer him outside the Nighthawk. "Hmm, he's not answering. Maybe he didn't hear me." Celacion thought to himself. He looked back. "Lute doesn't seem like he's going to return soon." He turned back towards the ship and walked to the door. "Hey Ken! Can you hear me?" He shouted while knocking on the door.

After he heard the sound of people coming on board, he ran back to his last hiding spot. The crates. Except this time, he just nose-dived right behind them.
"My Favourite color is seven...." He said, before the Windows XP start up sound played for a couple of minutes.
