"I've been on a few low class missions with the purgatory dragon slayer before and it turns out he is quite flirty, I have one thing to tell you two........... Brace yourselves"
Flirty? Good Lord.
Verity smiled to herself, mocking her thoughts. It wasn't a big deal that Armatyle was flirty, after all, it might just save them sometime. With a sigh of what was to come, she shifted around for a moment, trying to get a better view of the mountain. It was definitely nearing. The thought excited her tremendously- Snow! Natural Snow! But one thing kept her from shaking in joy; her new team. Sure, they had two fire mage's and a freaking Snow Mage, those two and herself would be fine, but then we had a Celestial Spirit Mage, a Sea King Dragon Slayer, and a Nature Mage of some sort- Verity couldn't quite recall the specifics of Vall's Magic.
She heard Cerise squeak or make some noise of the sort, and Verity identified it as the result of a thought process similar to the one she originally thought of; with the topic of Armatyle most likely. Verity couldn't help but hold back her giggles. "Oh come on Cerise, surely you could wash out the Purgetory Dragon with your magic." She joked, "I'm the one with more of a threat- snow and fire don't mix very well." Verity continued to giggle in good humor, but then she slowly settled down to continue her ride.
It was a few moments later that Verity began to feel Cerise's arms constrict a bit tighter around her waist. It puzzled her. 'What is she doing? Surely she's not trying to get any warmth out of me.' Verity thought. Although, a thought arose from that thought process. 'Were drawing to the mountain soon, so would it be kinder to adjust them to the cold now?' She asked herself.
As Escor asked Jasper something, Verity polished up her plan. "Illusion Magic, Memory Deception, Gentle Snow." She breathed, barely audible over the sound of the horse's hooves. Snow Mage's generally have the power to change the air's temperature in order to sustain their snow magic, so slowly Verity willed the area around herself (including the areas her comrades were in) to drop a degree or two, and to gradually continue decreasing. It was coldest by Verity, and she almost felt bad for Cerise, but then steeled herself and told herself that it would help them in the long run. Finally, the illusion began. Due to its lack of physicality, it didn't feel like real snow, actually, it didn't feel like anything at all. So, Verity made the snowflakes disappear around the horses, playing it off as the heat of the horses melting them. It may be easy to see through, but Verity hoped that she could help in some way.
