Private/Closed Hoenn League tournament

[Retro Master]

"Dusclops and Breloom, stop standing there and do something!", exclaimed Little J. Dusclops started to charge up a shadow ball. However, during their stand off, Scizor had been powering up it's attack with sword dance. Before Dusclops could fire off the shadow ball, it was knocked away by Scizor, who used iron head, causing it to flinch. Breloom took this opportunity to go straight for Scizor using close combat. However, Salamence noticed and fired a full power fire blast at Breloom.

Before Breloom could get to Scizor, it looked to it's right and was blasted by flames. This caused an explosion of smoke on the battlefield. The crowd got quiet waiting to see what happened. Scizor and Dusclops also turned to see what happened. Once the smoke cleared, everyone saw Breloom was down with flames all over it. It looked burnt to a crisp.

Little J was furious. "You little... Return Breloom.", stated Little J. Then a smirk creeped up onto Little J's face. "You think you can make a fool out of me. Duclops, use destiny bond on Salamence!", he exclaimed. A chain came out of Dusclops and grabbed onto Salamence's neck causing it to roar in anger. Scizor tried bullet punch it, but it did nothing.

Riley looked up to see what was all the commotion. "What the...", he said as he saw the chain connecting Salamence and Dusclops. "Now the only way to stop Dusclops... Is by taking out Salamence!", exclaimed Little J with a big grin on his face as he saw Riley's angry expression. "You'll pay for this!", exclaimed Riley. "That's what you get for being a cocky bastard!", exclaimed Little J as he started to laugh.

The crowd didn't even know how to react. Was Riley actually going to lose was what they were thinking. "No way." "He still has Scizor." "What is going on?" "Little J!" Those were some of the reactions from the crowd. "Unreal, is there a chance for Little J to win this?!, exclaimed the announcer.

 

[Jagson]

Drew watched the battle unfold. knowing the cocky bastard by the name of Riley he's most likely going to win anyways.

 

[Insanity Flight]

Kiri looked at Drew "Oi, Drew..." He asked he remembered his face from when he exclaimed he was going to quit the tournament "It's good you decide to join the Tournement again"

Kiri looked at Riley's battle and grinned "He'll be fine..." Kiri said with confidence

 

[Jagson]

Drew looked at this boy he belived his name was Kiri. He just shook his head and walked back to his corner of the stands wondering how he got there.

 

[Insanity Flight]

Kiri tilted and scratched his head "Not much a socializer I guess.." Kiri then looked at Pichu confused as well, he then turned his head towards the battle "All right Riley...He's going to be fine" Kiri looked at his Pokemon "He's in a pickle for sure though.."

 

[Retro Master]

"Ah ha ha ha!", was Little J laughing at Riley. "You think you're so good just because you won in Johto. But let me tell you...", was all Little J could say before Riley cut him off. "No, let me show you something!", Riley exclaimed with a smirk. "Scizor, you know what to do.", stated Riley.

Scizor nodded and looked at Salamence. Salamence nodded at Scizor since it knew what must be done. "Now show me, the true power of your teamwork!", exclaimed Riley. Salamence roared with great might and meteors started to fall from the sky, crashing onto the battlefield.

"Do something Dusclops!", exclaimed Little J, unsure of what was happening. Dusclops was too scared too move due the meteors crashing down all around it. A couple than crashed into Dusclops knocking it down. "Scizor, finish it!", exclaimed Riley. "You're bluffing! If you take out Dusclops, Salamence will go to!", yelled Little J. "Salamence understands, but you don't. We know sacrifices must be made and our bond allows us to make those sacrifices!", exclaimed Riley. Salamence nodded.

"Get up Dusclops!", yelled Little J who was scared now. Dusclops slowly got up with the meteors falling from all around him. Then out of nowhere, breaking through the meteor using iron head was Scizor, crashed into Dusclops, which sent it flying towards Little J. "This can't be!", yelled Little J before he was knocked down by Dusclops!

"And there we have it! Riley is the winner!, exclaimed the announcer before the crowd roared for Riley.

Little J slowly got up and returned Dusclops to it's pokeball and then walked up to Riley.

"What do you want?", Riley asked while they were still on the battlefield. Little J smirked. "Unlike my brother, I'm not scared of doing what must be done!", he exclaimed before pulling out a pocket knife to stab Riley who didn't have time to react. As Little J was about to stab Riley, a claw grabbed the hand with the knife. It was Scizor. It started to crush Little J's hand. "I'll stop, I'll stop!", yelled Little J in pain as he fell to his knees trying to pull his hand away. During this time, the police was called over to arrest Little J. His two guards also ran up to them.

Scizor let got of his hand and then grabbed his neck and lifted him off the ground. "Dude stop your Scizor!", exclaimed one of Little J's guard. "Not my problem, we're just holding him until the police arrives.", stated Riley. As the police arrived, everyone heard a crack. Scizor dropped the unconscious body on the floor and turned around to walk back to the trainer lounge.

A police officer walked up to Riley. "What happened here?", he asked. "Oh nothing, just self defense.", said Riley with a smirk on his face before he followed behind Scizor leaving the crowd shocked at what just happened.

 

[What Did You Do To Snoke?]

Jonas entered the stand just as the battle was ending. The referee called for the next game. "Neve vs Aston!"
"Aston is battling Neve...god..." Jonas reacted.
Neve entered the battlefield. "Don't worry I can do this, we can do this!" Neve shouted.
"You shall break! You have no plan do you?!" Aston roared.
"Go Poistive and Negative!" Neve sent out a duo of Plusle and Minum. "I do.."
"That was a bad move..."

 

[Jagson]

' A plusle and a minum.' Drew thought as he looked at the battle waiting for Aston to reveal his hand. Wondering what the ninja might do. Drew took out a deep breath as he propped his feet onto the chair in front of him. " you can win neve." He said.

 

[What Did You Do To Snoke?]

"Where have you been?!" Ella exclaimed as she saw Drew. "Me,Patrick and the others were worried, when you disappeared. We have been looking everywhere for you."
"Go Shiftry and Crawduant, tear them to shreds." Aston ordered.
"Thunderbolt, both of you!" Neve ordered. Both of them fired beams of electricity towards Shiftry and Crawduant.
"Dodge." They both went to the side. "Shiftry leaf tornado then aerial ace!" a huge tornado of leaves came towards Positive and she flew into it.
"Quick, Negative, use..."
Shiftry came flying down at Negative with aerial ace. He went flying into the wall. "Crabhammer, then Night slash!" Crawduant jumped up and hit Positive on the head, who was still inside of the leaf tornado.
"Amazing! Crawduant isn't taking any damage from what would normally be a super effective attack!" The announcer commentated.
Then, the leaf tornado died down and everyone could see that Positive had fainted. "Quick use-" Another command of Neve was broken into
"Finish him!" Crawduant jumped down and used Night Slash at Negative and Negative fainted. Neve was shocked.
"This ain't fair!" Neve shouted, she walked off and Jonas, who was sad for her, followed.
"Aston wins!"

 

[Jagson]

" I've been walking around." He said as he started moving back. he was shocked that they actually did care about him. " Look you guys really don't need to worry about me."

 

[What Did You Do To Snoke?]

Patrick sat down and took in his surroundings. "Looks like Neve lost, Jonas isn't happy!" He commented. He looked at Drew but he had heard Ella talking to him. "You're back...Look, we made a mistake not talking to you properly...things were awkward. I apologise. Maybe, between battles, we could..."
"You look depressed. You need help." Ella looked at Drew. "Maybe we could go out to some place for a meal between battles?"

 

[Jagson]

" What." Drew said faking a smile. " me depressed." He laughed a little bit. " As if. Like I said before you guys don't need to worry about me."
Tess looked into Ella's eyes. Tess's eyes turned blue.
" He'll be going with you guys." She said telepathically to Ella. " He needs all the help he can get." Tess pointed to Drew's arm that had a long scar on it. " I'll make him if I have too."

 

[What Did You Do To Snoke?]

Ella smiled as she heard Tess's voice in her head. It was a suprise to her but Ella herself had a Gardevoir, Guardian, who would sometimes speak to her telepathically. She just wanted to make sure everyone was okay and she saw that Drew was lucky enough to have a pokemon constantly protecting him like Tess. When Ella whispered Patrick what he heard he didn't believe her at first. Ella and Patrick wondered how Drew had been able to stay with such a pokemon for so long and how they actually met-Patrick's memory of Drew during the Johto tournament was patchy.

(Dennis)
"IDIOT! YOU ARE UP NEXT IN THE TOURNAMENT SO GET YOUR FUCKING ASS TO THE STADIUM!" Dennis shouted into his phone.
(Yannick)
"Calm down I'm already there so get your ass inside to watch me." Yannick replied and ended the call. "Hey Mr. Referee. I guess everyone knows the rules for a 2 on 2 double by now so how about we just start." He looked bored at his opponent. ".....Fine. Just choose your Pokemon and begin." The ref said with a mean look on his face. "Sceptile, Blaziken go!" Yannick said. "Charizard, Blastoise your turn!" A young man with spiky black hair called Shuhei send out his Pokemon. "This will be fun! Blaziken Knock Off! Sceptile Leaf Blade!" Yannick was pumped to face someone that seems to be a challenge to him. "Blastoise Skull Bash on Blaziken Charizard Seismic Toss on Sceptile." Shuhei countered. The smile on Yannick's face faded as he saw how Blastoise and Charizard crashed into each other what resulted in two clean hits for Yannick's team. "You lack teamwork. Blaziken use Brick Break on Blastoise! Sceptile Outrage on Charizard." Yannick looked down. "This is enough I'm sick of weak opponents." He looked at the ref waiting for him to end the match. "Blastoise and Charizard are unable to battle. Yannick and his team win." The ref announced. "Boring! Your Pokemon only looked strong. I wonder how all of you loosers got 8 badges." Yannick vanished again.

 

[Retro Master]

"What?! Why am I being arrested?!", exclaimed Riley. A few moments after his match he found Scizor and himself sitting in the police station. Scizor was put in a special cell that prevented Pokemon from breaking it.

"Scizor is your partner right?", asked the police officer. "Yeah.", stated Riley. "Partners go down together.", he said before putting Riley in handcuffs. "You almost killed my son and for that I'm going to have to arrest you!", exclaimed the cop. "But he attacked me first.", Riley said before being interrupted. "No buts, now get in there.", stated the cop as he shoved Riley in the opposite jail cell.

"I'm the winner of the Johto League and I'm still in the tournament. You can't do this to me!", yelled Riley as he grabbed the jail bars. The cop smirked at Riley before he shut the door and left.

"Fuck!", yelled Riley as he smacked the bars. "Ow, that hurt.", exclaimed Riley. Scizor kept smacking the bars but couldn't break them. "We have to get out of here!", exclaimed Riley.

 

[Jagson]

( Cortez)
Cortez walked through a police station.
" Excuse me." he said looking at the officer in charge. " I'm Special agent Hux." He said showing the officer an International Police ID. " I'm here to escort a mister Riley unkown last name. to Golden Rod to face charges involving conspiracy with the Masqueraders."
The man looked at Cortez and told him to fallow the Officer.
Cortez stood infront of Riley's Cell. " Well hello there mister unkown." Cortez said. " I'm here to escort you out of here."
( Clair)
Clair walked towards the Stadium looking at her opponent.
" Let the match begin." The man said.
" Go Heart, And Prince Mush." Clair said as her Milotic and a breloom appeared.
" Go Maganium and Wailord."
" Walord use soak." The man said as it made Breloom a water type. " Maganium use petal Dance." Petals flew at both Heart and Prince Mush making them fly into the air.
( Drew)
Drew sighed. " Alright since apperantly I'm out voted here." He said looking at Tess then to Ella. " Where do you want to go."

 

[What Did You Do To Snoke?]

"There is a restaurant which only recently opened. I have heard this from the many chefs who are participating in the tournament." Patrick explained. "It is called 'The Five Starmies.' They say all the chefs come from the Kanto region."
A man got up from his seat next to Patrick."Kanto cuisine...eh?!" Jonas shouted as he slid over, taking the man's seat.
"I think I saw some of these chefs in their 1 vs 1 battles..." Ella said. She noticed Jonas. "Hey Jonas."
"Hey Ella, did you see what Aston did to Neve!?"
"Yes...he is a cruel man...He's not even a man...a kid..." Ella spat.
"I shall make sure to hit him hard after that! Neve is taking some time out..."

 

[Retro Master]

Riley saw a man walk up to his cell. When he got close enough, he recognized it was Cortez. "Fine, I'll play along. Now get me out of here.", stated Riley. He hated going along with Cortez. "Get Scizor out to."

 

[Yaspen]

Aspen saw these battles and was still taking mental notes and mapping type advantages in her mind as she went down to the concession stand. She barely took note that one of the competitors was being stinkin' ARRESTED. She was too absorbed in her mental mapping. She ordered some Pokepuffs and another milkshake. As Aspen was walking back to the lounge, she saw her father wave to her. She waved back, and continued on her way. Ashley and Gen flanked her like bodyguards again, and the rest of her pokemon except for Twilight, who just walked on casually, ran ahead.

 

[Jagson]

( Cortez)
" Come on scum bag." Cortez said as the jailer opened up the cell door. " You too Iron Born." He said to the Scizor.
( Clair)
" Prince Mush." She said to the Breloom as it landed on the ground. He was weakened but still in. " Sky uppercut the Wailord." She said. Prince Mush ran towards the Wailord and punched it's jaw upwards. " Heart use Dragon pulse." The blue wave that came from Heart's mouth pushed the Wailord further into the air before it crashed into the ground taking out both him and the Meganium.
" We won." She said. " Good match sir."
( Drew)
" The Five Starmie's huh." Drew said to the group of people. " Alright. Well my match is near the end of this round. What about yours" he said looking at them.

 

[What Did You Do To Snoke?]

"Mine isn't until a good while either. I think it's before yours." Ella stated
"I'm up alot later but not too soon..." Patrick said. "We should do this in the evening one night."

 

[Retro Master]

"Don't think I'm going to say thank you just because you got me and Scizor out of this.", stated Riley as they were freed. Then he turned to Scizor. "You alright?", he asked. Scizor nodded before he was returned to it's pokeball.

"So, there must be some reason you came out of your way to rescue me, what was it?", Riley asked Cortez.

 

[Insanity Flight]

Kiri saw that Riley got arrested, he felt the urge to go down and see what happened. After asking around he saw that he's been arrested "He...WHAT??!" He heard as he ran to the police station blindly as he warned by the others that he might miss his turn in the tournament

Kiri saw the police station, he entered and looked around "D-Did it come to the wrong station...crap.."

 

[Jagson]

( Cortez)
"It's quite simple." Cortez said. " I want you to join the Red Scarf foundation."
( Drew)
Drew watched the girl just ko both of that's pokemon with just one hit. " She's good." He said. to the others. " She might win."

 

[What Did You Do To Snoke?]

Some of the police officers guarding the same station Cortez and Riley were in, raced off when they saw Darius in the flesh. "That's him!" One shouted
"Halt!" Another cried.
Darius jumped onto a crate and sent out his Salamence. "Use dragon claw!" The Salamence jumped down and grabbed the police officers running at Darius and dug it's claws into them before sending them flying.
"What seems to be the issue?" Looker asked a police officer who rang him in an emergency.
"Sir, we're being attacked!"
"Don't worry-I see what you're seeing."
Looker stood behind a car. He walked up to the officer. He seemed suprised. "What?! But I thought you went to Sinnoh!?"
"You see, I faked leaving Hoenn to draw out Darius!" Then a stream of police officers sent out pokemon, only to get flung into the sky.
A Manetric appeared by Looker's side. "Thunderbolt!" The blast hit Salamence who was in the process of dodging. It seemed paralysed.
"Return!" Darius cried. "I have lost the battle, but you will lose the war!" He then pressed a button and teleported away.
"Jesus. What was that about?!" Looker cursed. He walked into the police station to see Cortez and Riley.

 

[Retro Master]

"Red scarf foundation?! What is that supposed to be?", asked Riley before he saw Looker in front of them. "What was happening out there?", he asked Looker as he saw the commotion going on.

 

[What Did You Do To Snoke?]

"That wretch, Darius was outside killing police officers with his Salamence. I tried to stop him..." Looker panted. "I told everyone i was going back to Sinnoh...so I could...lure him...plan failed..." Looker was still regaining his breath. "We must find Darius!" He shouted. Then a man appeared with a note. Looker read it out aloud:
'If you wish to find me, come to the stadium during my next match...signed Darius.'
"So he's in the tournament? He wants to trap me eh?" He asked. Then he grabbed the man. "What do you know about Darius?"
"Please let me go...okay, i'll tell you. He tells me to give that letter then he's like...'I just wanna mess with the police force!' Then he tells me he's playing the game..." The man then ran away, before tripping on the floor.
"How cryptic."

 

[Yaspen]

Chu looked out the window and saw something going on. It tapped Aspen's shoulder. "Not now, Chu," Aspen said, lost in thought. "I'm trying to learn something."
"Chu, chu, Raichu," Chu said, trying to get her attention. Gen noticed this.
"Gengar Gen?" it said. (Translation: "What's up?")
"Chu Raichu Chu!" Chu replied. ("Something's going on outside.")
"Gengar Gen Gen?" ("And this has something to do with Aspen how?")
"Rai, Chu Chu Chu," ("I don't know, just figured she might want to know.")
Gen used psychic and moved Aspen's head towards the window. "Hey, a guy just fell on his face!" she said. She went outside. I guess fresh air won't hurt anyways, she thought. Aspen went up to the guy that was on the ground. "You okay?" Her pokemon were surrounding her, Gen and Ashley again giving the effect that they were her bodyguards.

 

[Insanity Flight]

Kiri once again was stuck in between two conflicts, he was in the police station listening to every word, he took a deep breath as his Pichu rested on his head quietly

Kiri's constant breathing would be a dead give away Why the hell is Riley in jail and what's the Red Scarf Foundation?? He thought to himself as he continued to ease drop

 

[Retro Master]

"If Darius is in the tournament, then there's no need to worry. I will beat him.", exclaimed Riley. He also was still wondering what the red scarf foundation was.

 

[Jagson]

( Cortez)
"So." Cortez said. " You thought that instead of having a constructive plan to stop a person who was responsible for how many people dying. You decided to lay and wait for the man." He started to rub his head. "Dear god the international police are so fucking incompetent. Hell if I didn't tip you guys off about team rocket they would still be around." Cortez started to walk away. " And Don't worry about Darius. I already have an Agent in the tournament. He'll take care of the man."

 

[Insanity Flight]

Kiri who's continuing to over hear the conversation, began to tip toe a bit closer, hiding behind a corner not really trying to be stealthy. But he simply didn't want to inturupt, he placed his back to the wall Team Rocket?? How long have these guys been around? And what does the international police have to do with it??

Kiri sighed as he had a bunch of questions in his head he'd probably have to figure out on his own from his lack of connections

 

[Retro Master]

"An agent in the tournament. I wonder who that can be.", Riley wondered aloud. "I'm going back to the stadium.", stated Riley. When Riley turned a corner, he saw Kiri hiding there. "What are you doing here?!", Riley asked.

 

[Insanity Flight]

Kiri jolted to a standing position from the previous leaning position he had earlier as his Pichu nearly loss its balence on his shoulder "Y-You see what happened i-" Kiri then saw Riley, and remembered the conversation he just had and decided to cut the act "I came here to check on you after what happened...and when I came I heard about what you guys were talking about.." Kiri said as his somewhat cheerful personality was gone for now at least

 

[What Did You Do To Snoke?]

"What I shall do is that I will lurk in the stadium and see what I can find...if the plan with Darius is successfull I will then leave for Sinnoh." Looker turned round and ran out of the door.

 

[Retro Master]

"Well thanks for caring, but I was set free by someone.", stated Riley not wanting to say Cortez. "So what did you hear?", asked Riley.

 

[Insanity Flight]

Kiri began to fold his arms in deep thought, as he looked up at him "Red Scarf Foundation, what is that?" He asked which he knew was a bad thing to do yet he needed answers since he felt in the dark ever since arriving in Hoenn

 

[Retro Master]

"I honestly have no idea. But he did say he had an agent in the tournament. So if we can find him, then we'll learn more. Anyways, we should get back to the stadium before we miss anything else.", stated Riley before he started to head out.

 

[Insanity Flight]

Kiri nodded as he and his Pichu walked out of the police station "And since they most likely need him for the Tournement he can't be someone who was beaten in the first rounds...he must be strong" Kiri said

 

[Retro Master]

"Yeah, but not as strong as me.", exclaimed Riley. "If I have to beat him in battle to get the information, then I will."
