Private/Closed Journey in Galar! (Roleplay)

Lucas grinned, returning the Alcremie back to her Heal Ball...however, he yelped when the Charizard landed in front of him, darting off to hide behind Kia. He quickly recomposed himself, and realized the Charizard had a note...he read it, and chuckled. He decided to write on the other side of the note. "No, we're fine. Kia just had a run-in with a Rapidash. Sorry for worrying you! Signed, Salasa." He pat Blaze, giving it back the note. He then turned to Kia. "Alright, we should probably head back. Seth's getting worried about us."

Alistar helped her up and began walking with her toward Spikemuth. "Seriously though, when we get to Spikemuth you'll have to rest. At least for one night. There's no way you can keep going through the gym challenge in the state your in. I'll make sure you can still participate, but once we get there, no more for a bit, ok?" Alistar said, he really didn't want her to push herself even further at this point, or else her legs might collapse again.

"I won't be leaving you, you'll be good as new in no time." He said as he continued to help her toward Spikemuth. They reached the gates to the city in about an hour, Alistar pushed them open and helped Gabblimey inside. The city was a lot darker than he initially expected- the whole place looked like an alleyway. "Right, let's get to the Pokemon Center, they'll have food and places to stay." He said, guiding her into the building.

Asche watched as another wild Nickit fled from her, terrified of the Hatterene that stood beside her. At this point of day, most wild Pokemon were hiding in their dens, getting ready for the approaching night. She decided to walk to Spikemuth again, wanting to rest for the night as well.

When she went inside the Pokemon Center for a room to stay, though, she noticed the distressed Golbat from earlier, flying beside its trainer and someone else. She cocked an eyebrow, observing the Golbat that seemed more relaxed now.

Alistar found an empty room and laid Gabblimey down on the bed, he made sure to turn the heating up all the way. He wasn't sure if it'd do much at this point, but he didn't have many options. After making sure she was OK- at least as OK as she could be, he went off to go grab food from the Pokemon Center's cafe.

Alistar ordered his food and went to go back to Gabblimey's room when he noticed someone looking at him from one of the cafe tables. He didn't find it unusual, as he had just walked in here with an unconscious person in his arms, but nonetheless he gave them an awkward wave and returned to Gabblimey with the food he'd obtained. He laid it down on her bedside table and began to eat what he'd gotten for himself, hoping he'd done enough for her to wake up soon.

Asche watched as the trainer waved at her before she gave a yawn, tearing her gaze off him as she continued to pet her Toxel affectionately. It still watched the trainer intently, though, and started to whimper softly at the direction where the trainer went.

"What's wrong, Phylo?" She asked. Phylo jumped from its place on her lap, crawling away. Asche followed the crawling Toxel who led her to a picture shining on the floor. She picked it up, dusting a few dirt off as Toxel murmured again.

"Alistar Dallas... his picture looks like the guy with a Golbat," she said as she observed the League Card. Turning it around, she read the text on the back before keeping it in her pocket. She picked her Toxel up. "Thanks, Phylo, although I don't think I needed that..."

Gathering all her things from the café table, she went up to her room to sleep for the night.

Zac couldn’t sleep, he got up went outside. He walked back to the frozen lake and looked at the water, he then looked up and saw the full moon. He smile and looked back at the water, he thought a little training won’t hurt, right? He took off his top and jumped in the freezing cold water, which was, again, a bad idea. He wanted to be as athletic as possible for future battles, even if it meant swimming in below zero degrees Celsius.

After about thirty minutes of swimming, he on the shore drying himself off until he saw a Greedent raiding his bag. He went over to it and gave it a Oral Berry, the Greedent hesitantly took the berry and then ran off in to the night. Zac then pack his things and went back to the Pokémon Centre to sleep, he wanted to be up early before the other challengers so he could be a step ahead. He then fell asleep from exhaustion, probably because he swam in cold water.

Kia chuckled when Salasa jumped behind her. She smirked and folded her arms. "Easily frightened, are ya? Didn't know you were the scared type." She let Sasai on top of Uma. She lowered to their height. "Sasai, are you ok with letting Uma do part of the gym as well? It would be unfair if I completely denied Uma of an opportunity." Sasai didn't reply. "I'll...take that as a yes, then." Kia returned Uma and Sasai floated into her bag. Sasai crawled up to the top, so she would be able to see out of the top of the bag.

Gabblimey was still while in the bed, her breathing somewhat erratic. She didn't want to be here, but had no choice, Alistar wouldn't let her leave. Now those chumps were going to catch up to her! A Poke Ball fell from her jacket and Cor popped out. He was worried, he'd never seen his trainer brought to this pitiful state. He licked her face out of concern, whimpering a bit before laying down next to the bed.

Blaze came and rested behind Seth. He handed the letter his trainer, who read it. He smiled and was glad to know that his friends were ok. He was also surprised that the others did not question that he had a Charazard. Especially since he told then that he was against battling, well that was partially true, as he does like it, but he was on a break for awhile. He just hoped that they would still be ok with him, once they learn of his actual status. "They said that they were ok, there was a battle that happened in the forest. Thank you Blaze, you have been very helpful." With that Seth returned Blaze to his pokeball, and looked towards Jake.

Alistar was sound asleep in the chair he was sitting in, today had been completely exhausting for him. Not only had he spent an extra fourty five minutes in that icy water, Gabblimey’s life had been basically in his hands since he saved her from the water. All he wanted to do at this point was sleep, and nothing was really gonna stop him from doing that.

"H-Hey, no I'm not...I just, um...got a bit spooked, is all...it was one time! Besides, Charizard can be a bit, um...well, scary." He shrugged, but kept close to Kia's side as they started to leave the forest. "Oh, sure thing! Scruff evolved pretty recently." Once they were out of the Tangle and in front of the gym, he threw out a Luxury Ball...and there was Scruff, a Low-Key Toxtricity. He leaned against a wall, messing around with the protrusions on his chest...it sounded like a Bass Guitar, which Low-Key varieties were known for.

Asche woke up with a start, subtle electricity coursing through her leg muscles. Her eyes focused on her Toxel, who was using Nuzzle on her before giving her a grin and crying out a greeting. She yawned before smiling, petting her Toxel before sitting up and setting it down beside her. "Phylo, you woke me up," Asche pouted before glancing at her phone's clock. Seven AM.

"Aw, it's really early, too..." she said sleepily before leaning back on the bed. Her Toxel was having none of it, though, and it quickly sent another gentle wave of electricity run through her. Asche sat up again, sighing before giggling. "What an energetic Toxel, you are..."

She had to feed her Pokemon breakfast outside Spikemuth, as they were too big for the narrow alleyways of the town, before grabbing her own breakfast at one of the cafés open. The Toxel still wobbled after her, approaching the gym. A cup of hot chocolate in hand, Asche sat at one of the benches outside, already starting to zone out as her Toxel climbed up the bench to sit beside her.

Alistar woke up suddenly, his back was a bit sore but that was to be expected seeing as he’d just slept on a chair. He quickly checked on Gabblimey, who seemed to be still fast asleep before checking the time on his Rotomphone. It was still relatively early, he thought to himself, so he’d get breakfast when Gabblimey wakes up.

Gold The Dragonite

Alex and Aaron followed suit with the others. Rose walked among Blaze, their friendship rekindled, as well as Astral. Diamond were scuffling along with Diamond, as Wynd was perched on Alex's shoulder, peering at the inhabitants of Glimwood Tangle. Once they arrived back in town, Aaron sent out Venom and told her a set of instructions.

The Toxtricity then sauntered over to a house, went inside and grabbed a Pokeball off a table. She then returned to her trainer and handed him the small red and white ball. Aaron stroked Venom's two large horns before sending out a Decidueye, who looked incredibly happy to see her trainer.

Willow immediately lunged herself towards Aaron, wrapping her large wings around her trainer, who returned the hug while giving a smile. Venom then walked up to Scruff and started to strum her own protuding organs, making a higher pitch than the Low-Key variant. In front of the gym, Alex looked over to Salasa and Kia. "So, who wants to go first?" She asked the two.

"Huh? Oh, Grimmsnarl! I know that Pokemon! My dad had one...I haven't really heard from him in forever, though...anyways, I believe it was...Impidimp and Morgrem? They're fairly mean Pokemon, so if you wanna catch one, well...be careful, ok?" He chuckled, before glancing over at Alex. "Oh, well...Kia, why don't you go first?" He smiled softly, tilting his head. Scruff perked up at the other Toxtricity, grinning as she played...he seemed excited to see someone else with musical talent, another Toxtricity no less.

Alistar looked up from what he was doing on his phone as Gabblimey groaned. "Still cold, I presume? Hold on, I'll go grab some food real quick, I'm sure you're hungry since you didn't eat any dinner yesterday." He said, quickly rushing out of the room and back to the cafe he'd been at the night before, he quickly grabbed a whole bunch of breakfast food and brought them back to the room in ten minutes. "How're you feeling? You're still shivering, so that's not a good sign, that and your breathing sounds pretty uneven."

Alistar laughed. "Well, least you've got your attitude back." He then pointed toward the heater on the wall, "that things on it's max setting though, so there's no way it's gonna get any hotter in here. I can go see about more blankets or something but I doubt it'll help, though with the state you're still in I might have to go grab a Nurse Joy..."

Alistar left almost immediately after hearing the coughing, it worried him that she had almost not recovered at all. A Nurse Joy returned in his place not long after who gave her a hot water bottle and various other things to help warm her up. including a warm hot chocolate that she said was necessary to drink. The Nurse Joy then began treating her as Alistar returned with a bunch of blankets he'd stolen from other rooms, "hopefully these help," he said as he stacked them on top of her.

The Nurse Joy finished before long and left the room. "Feeling any better?" He asked, she definitely looked a little less cold at least, that reassured him. "By the way, I just wanted to apologize for not noticing sooner that you'd fallen off Samurott, this is kinda my fault I guess, so if you need anything just ask." He said, he really did feel responsible, if he'd noticed sooner, it might not of been this bad.

Jake quickly skidded to a stop near Alex, Salasa and Kia, Sonny on his shoulder.

"...thanks...for not telling me we were leaving," he panted as he clutched his chest, and slowly stood up and looked around.

"Huh...I've seen pictures and videos of this place, but never been." He said smiling as they stood outside the gym.

Suddenly, the Zigzagoon from the forest ran at and tackled Jake's feet, which caused him to stumble and trip.

"Ow...what the...?" Jake groaned in pain, his knee now scratched as he sat up, as his knee bled.

The zigzagoon, a few feet away, grinned widely and let out its Mightyena esqe laugh.

Jake bit his lip, and went to grab the Nickit's pokeball.

"Scor!" Sonny said, and hopped in front of Jake defensively, and glared daggers at the black and white pokemon.

Jake blinked and nodded. "Go ahead, buddy."

The zigzagoon laughed again, and seemed to be challenging Sonny.

Sonny suddenly charged forward, and jumped into the air, and shot a fireball at his opponent.

The zigzagoon allowed the fireball to hit him, and zigzagged as he ran at the rabbit.

Sonny got tackled out of the sky, and was pinned.

Sonny, after he grunted, managed to kick the zigzagoon off of him and stood.

This combat continued for a few more minutes, and it became apparent Sonny was losing, and that he was being toyed with by the Zigzagoon.

Sonny, weak, struggled to stand to his feet.

"S-s-scor..." he whined, as his ears flattened.

Jake was visibly worried as he waited to jump in if needed.

The Zigzagoon cackled loudly, filled with glee.

Sonny growled and straightened up. When he did, he immidietely began to glow like Baltimore did while he fought the Nickit.

Jake stared, as his jaw opened a bit.

Sonny's ears grew longer, and hung downward. He grew slightly bigger, bit was still small. His feet grew, and were even bigger then they were before.

The light vanished, and now a Raboot stood where the Scorbunny was.

"Raboot!" Sonny said in his new voice, and removed his paws from the fur that served as pockets.

Zigzagoon looked thrown off, and didn't laugh.

Sonny bounced towards it, and easily tossed it into the air.

Jake quickly threw a pokeball at it, and it vanished inside.

Once. Twice. Three times.

Click.

The ball landed in Jake's hand, as Sonny hopped over.

Jake looked at his partner in awe.

"Sonny, I...wow," he laughed in disbelief. "Ill admit, ill miss the little Scorbunny that was the shyest out of the trio of starters and that was hiding behind a tree, but...you look awesome." He smiled.

Sonny grinned widely and began to hop around the group, and hopped up onto each of their shoulders in turn.

First Jake, then Seth, followed by Kia, Salasa, and then Alex.

After doing so, he hopped in place in excitement around the humans' feet

“Alright, alright, I’m leaving!” He said as he walked out the door. Instead of going to the cafe this time he instead left the Pokémon center, he wanted to get a look around the city, he’d been here for almost a day and a half now but he’d pretty much been couped up inside the Pokémon center the whole time. “Right, where to now...” he said to himself as he wandered the winding alleyways of the city, this place was definitely more of a maze than the other cities, that was for sure.

"Oh thanks!" She scribbled into her notepad and put it away. "I guess I could go first. This should be easy, for someone of my ability at least." Kia was a bit surprised when Sonny's larger weight hit on her shoulder. She flinched, but shook it away. "Congratulations, on both Sonny and the Zigzagoon! What are you going to name it?"
