"Oh. Well Hi there." Ark said, petting the Houndoom. He was a bit curious but he also didn't want to be rude. Then again, starting a conversation with her was much better than sitting in silence while the other two trainers prepared to battle one another. "If you don't mind me asking, what's the note about?" he asked.
Marie looked at him and smiled "I get to keep Houndoom" she said with a big grin on her face

Ark couldn't help but smile looking at how happy she was. "Well that's good for you. The Houndoom seems really powerful." he said, avoiding her gaze for a bit in an attempt to stop smiling. Then he thought about something, "Say...any particular reason you get to have Houndoom? Like, is your mom okay?" he asked.
Marie smiled "she's okay but it was either I get Houndoom or I get my dad's Flygon and I dont really like Flygon he's rude" while shuddering at the thought of Flygon

Ark laughed a bit, "Well that's sure nice of your parents. Too bad about Flygon though because they are really cool, but I guess no one would want to have a Pokemon picking on them constantly." he said with a smile. He looked back down at his Chimchar who was trying to eat his own fire tail.
Marie smiled and petted Houndoom "Doomy go home and tell mom I want Pandora instead" Houndoom nodded and went home and came back with a pokeball which he dropped in Marie's hand and left
Marie smiled and she clicked the button and an Absol popped out of the pokeball "Meet Pandora my mom's strongest pokemon"
Marie giggled "Pandora your on my team now okay?" Pandora smiled and licked Berrys head

RP: Jagged noticed that Marie had sent out an Absol. "Wow an Absol!" Jagged exclaimed. "I haven't seen one in so long!" He said. "Gengar remember that Absol I had before you?" The Gengar nodded. "You see when Gengar was a Haunter I traded. An Absol with my father to get a Gengar after trade Gengar and Absol were the best friends I've ever seen." Jagged said.

Ark scratched his head, "She doesn't like to battle anymore? Bummer, with an Absol by her side she must've been pretty strong back in her day." he said. The boy thought to himself right then and there. Why had he never asked his own parents to tell him stories about Pokemon battles that they've had in their past. Maybe they fought strong Pokemon as well.
Marie smiled "my mom's team consisted of Absol,Houndoom,Lucario,Milotic,

"Wow." Ark said after hearing her full roster. That's all he really could say after all. So many strong Pokemon on a single team. With that kinda power she probably won the Pokemon League. If she didn't then he would really hate to see what kind of powerful team defeated hers.
Marie sighed "my mom never lost a battle until she met my father they both only had 1 Pokemon left it was Pandora vs. Kuva my dad's Luxray my dad won because before Pandora could use night slash Kuva used Charge beam and the battle was over"

"Wow. Your family seemed like amazing trainers. So strong." he said just thinking about watching a battle like that. He then got to thinking. Her direct lineage was basically an amazing natural inheritance of battling like a pro but she didn't seem that into it. "So then what's the reason you don't like to battle that much?" he asked.
Marie sighed "Berry she gets to pumped up and she doesn't stop attacking the opponent even if they already fainted" Marie said while looking glumly at Berry who was riding on Pandoras back

Ark smiled, "Well at least she's got the right idea. All Berry needs to learn is a little restraint and then she'd definitely be amazing in battle." he said. He knew his Chimchar also had a bit of control issues at the beginning of their journey but all of his revolved around just not listening to his trainer in general. Cubchoo climbed from Ark's hood onto his head. "Cubchoo...do you really..?" he sighed, just deciding to leave him alone.
Marie giggled and decided to pick up the cubchoo and held it like a baby while Hex was also riding on Pandoras back with Berry while Aurora sat next to Marie eating her Pokepuff neatly
Marie noticed a man and a woman enter the cafe and stood up put cubchoo back on Arks head and approached the pair "What what are you guys doing here"

One second the girl was holding his Cubchoo and the next second the thing got put back on his head. "Ahhh Cubchoo you're cold!" he said, as an immediately chill pulsed through his body. The boy put the tiny polar bear back in his hood as his Chimchar hopped up onto his shoulder. Ark shrugged, "I don't know buddy. She probably knows those people." he said. Chimchar then hopped back off his shoulder and began chasing around Hex despite the fact that she was on Pandora's back.
Marie looked up at the pair "Mom and dad what are you guys doing here" Marie's parents looked at her and smiled "my dear rie-rie we came to see how your doing" her mom said with a smile

Ark was a bit surprised that Carter had come up to him. The boy thought that he'd wanna be preparing for his battle with Jagged. "Oh well my Cubchoo was my first Pokemon. I was born in Snowbelle City right here in Kalos and as a child I used to play in the cold a lot.This included swimming in the ice rivers and lakes and I often played with Cubchoo there. When I was old enough to become a trainer, I caught him." he explained, giving the small bear a pat on the head.
As for Chimchar, my parents run a company that has to do with Pokemon egg incubators. I didn't really ask for details but I mainly just help move stuff. Needless to say, we get to travel all over to different regions delivering these things and well we went to Sinnoh for like a week or so and I saw the Chimchar playing around with an incubator. I had to stop him before he broke anything of course but after that got cleared up the three of us became pretty great friends." he explained.
Then Ark himself got curious, "What about your Snorlax? How did you two meet?" he asked.

Marie trying to push her parents out of the Cafe until her mother saw Arks cubchoo ran over to it and picked it up "mom are you kidding me" Marie said completely annoyed "Marie look isn't it adorable" her mom said with a big smile Marie then smirked taking advantage of the moment and swiping Lucarios pokeball off her mom's belt "ITS MINE ALL MINE" Marie yelled jumping up and down
Carter smiled. "My parents brought me on a trip when I was 11, to the Kanto region. We explored that place all over. We stopped at the daycare, where there was a mother Snorlax sitting with her egg. I loved Snorlax at that age, they're so big and cuddly. Great at battling too. Well, I became attached with the mother Snorlax, that I helped her hatch her egg. A Munchlax came out, and she decided that I should raise it. We've been together ever since. He evolved last year."

Ark just asked Carter about his Snorlax and the next thing he knew, Cubchoo was swiped right out of his hood. He turned only to see the tiny polar bear being hoisted up by the woman who had entered the cafe. Then the girl he'd been talking to swiped a Pokeball off the woman's belt and began jumping up and down. "Poor Cubchoo. Well at least this way he gets the attention he's always wanted." he said with a laugh.
"That's a cool story Carter." he said. He just thought about having gained so much trust from a Pokemon that it would let you keep it's very own baby. Carter must've been one very nice person to have earned the mother's trust.

Marie threw the pokeball in the air and a Lucario came out "Hey steel" Lucario looked at Marie and they high fived
Marie smiled "Yup that's my mom and this is Steel" putting her arm around Steels neck
"Carter not to rush you, but how about that battle, you still up for it Gallade's pumped." Jagged asked he then noticed that there was a Lucario behind him high diving marie. "Oh would you look at that a Lucario." He said. "Hello." He said to the Lucario he then looked up to see a woman. "I assume this Lucario is yours correct?" He asked the woman.
Marie's dad heard battle and decided to watch while her dad sat in her chair Marie got on Steels back and they started to run around the cafe "Weeeeeeee" until Steel dropped her
