A reminder: If you want to ask an RP thread creator if you can join their RP, do so in private - via conversation or profile messages - or via the thread's discussion thread, if one exists. "Okay then," said Diox. "Chespin, you ready?" he asked his Pokemon. It started punching the air. "Che, che, che!" Diox nodded. "Alright, then, use Tackle!"
As Chespin and Froakie collided, Diox noticed Zane smirk. He thought he had this all under control, but boy was he wrong! "Chespin, grab Froakie with Vine Whip instead of colliding!" It may have made him look like a noob switching attacks like that, but it was for the best.
Just before the two made contact, Chespin stopped as released multiple vines hoping to ensnare Froakie. Zane's smirk faded as he acted quickly.
"Froakie stop and use Cut on the vines!" Zane called out as Froakie produced a mini white glowing blade and began to slice any vine that came near him. Froakie had manage to prevent itself from being caught, but now he was stuck on defense trying to fight off all of Chespin's vines.

Diox gasped. Zane actually fought off the Vine Whip! But now, Froakie's hands were occupied, and the professor gave Diox a nice TM move that would help! "Chespin, use Seed Bomb now!"
Zane saw the seed coming and had to act quickly.
"Froakie use Cut on the Seed Bomb!" Zane called out as Froakie disregarded the vines and successfully sliced the seed in half, however this left it open as one of the vines smacked it across the face sending it flying back.
"Froakie you okay?" Zane asked as Froakie made it to its feet, shaken up by the hit but still willing to fight.
"Froakie use Cut on the Seed Bomb!" Zane called out as Froakie disregarded the vines and successfully sliced the seed in half, however this left it open as one of the vines smacked it across the face sending it flying back.
"Froakie you okay?" Zane asked as Froakie made it to its feet, shaken up by the hit but still willing to fight.
"Nice, Chespin!" said Diox as its opponent was knocked back. "You're doing great! Now, use Rollout and hit that Froakie straight on!" Chespin started to roll at a fast speed and sped towards the recovering Froakie.
Chespin was using Rollout and was headed towards Froakie, but when Bubble hit, the ground got slippery and Chespin lost its balance, flying in the ait. "Chespin!" shouted Diox.
"Chespin, quick!" shouted Diox. "Intercept that move with Tackle!" Chespin flew back towards Froakie, ready to headbutt it, and ready to decide who would win this match!
Froakie's blade smacked Chespin's head as the two exchanged in a battle of wills, with neither side giving an inch. Zane looked on wondering who would win, Froakie using the single blade against Chespin's hard head when a new idea formed in his head.
"Froakie try using a second Cut with your free hand! Try to duel blade it!" Zane called out as Froakie concentrated before a second white blade formed in its free hand and he aimed a second slash while continuing to put pressure on Chespin with the first.

"Ok, if that's how he's gonna play, Chespin, use Vine Whips and grab that second hand!" This was all or nothing. This battle was critical in Diox and Chespin's journey. They just had to win!
Vines shot out to try and grab Froakie's free hand while Froakie tried to slice the vines, keeping pressure with the other blade on Chespin's head. Zane's hands were shaking as he looked on with intensity unsure of what would give...before a smile came over him.
"Yes, YES! This is what we need! A true battle to push us to our limits! Diox I thank you for this, but we'll never give an inch! No matter who it is, no matter what the odds WE WILL NEVER GIVE UP! Froakie give it all you've got!" Zane yelled in encouragement as Froakie felt its trainer's passion mix with his own and began to slice Chespin's vines at a faster rate and began to push more against Chespin's head.

"This is not good!" said Diox. "Chespin, hang in there and use Seed Bomb! And stat!" Diox underestimated Froakie, but it was not going to beat Chespin! Chespin was tough and resilient, it could take those hits!
Froakie managed to push Chespin back before it fired another Seed Bomb on top of continuing to use Vine Whip. Earlier Froakie took a hit because it couldn't slice the vines and the seed, but this new duel wield style offered new possibilities.
"Froakie slice up the seed and the vines, then deliver the finishing blow!" Zane called out as Froakie used one blade to fight off the vines and the other to slice the Seed Bomb in two. Froakie then charged Chespin ready to deliver a double slash attack.

"Chespin, use Rollout to give you some weight and fall to the ground!" shouted Diox, but Chespin had to complete this move quickly before Froakie attacked.

After he got over his traumatizing memory he started to like pokemon and be friends with them. Then he learned about battling the he made a goal for himself, " become the very best traner in the world!" To this day he wants to battle every tranier and become friends with every pokemon.

Platinum was shocked to have seen the two trainers challenge eachother just before they set out to Santalune. But they were trainers after all - anything could happen, especially battles. Platinum grew excited being reminded of the Contest that was only a day and a half away, the teen determined to win his first Kalos Ribbon. However there was Mary, and even though Platinum had an advantage of having one more pokemon than her, she didn't look easy to beat at all.
He smiled as he watched the battle play out before him - both Diox and Zane being very talented battlers, both with a decent amount of knowledge as well. Diox had the more intellectual type-advantage side of the battle, but Zane was spontaneous and quick-witted. This could turn out to be anyones victory. All there was to do now was to continue watching in eagerness.

As Diox watched Chespin battle, he felt proud of his Pokemon. It had been already five months since they'd been together, and he'd become a strong battler already from that greedy, food-loving creature he used to be! No matter how this battle turned out, he was proud of Chespin.

Mary watched the battle with great interest. Mary needed to make her Pokemon stronger to give them the best access to their move-sets to become a Top Performer. Watching Zane and Diox go at it with everything they had would be beneficial down the road. Eevee stood next to Mary watching with equal interest.

"We're not done yet!" exclaimed Diox. "Chespin, while its in midair and can't dodge, use Seed Bomb! Fire away!" Chespin shot out the mini bombs at Froakie, and Diox knew deep down that it wouldn't miss!
As Jack was wondering around town to what they have here,he sees two trainers battling one with a froakie and one with a chespin. Since Jack has never seen a battle before he just had to watch the two trainers battle and so did his pokemon. He let all his pokemon out of their pokeballs Fennekin,Litwick,Slowpoke with a king's rock,and catirpie. "Ok watch this battle carefully guys."

Zane disregarded the new trainers because as soon as Froakie hit the ground Chespin fired numerous Seed Bombs at it. There were too many to dodge or to slice with Cut so Zane had to think of something...and then a light bulb went off.
"Froakie Double Team!" Zane called out as dozens of Froakie after images appeared with a Seed Bombs hitting many of them. These impacts created a dirt cloud with Froakie and the other copies inside. Zane didn't know if the real Froakie got hit or not and just watched the smoke cloud.

As Chespin launched the Seed Bombs, Diox knew Froakie was up to something. After it had used Double Team, Froakie was somewhat vulnerable, so Diox shouted, "Chespin, use Vine Whip and slash through any Froakie you see!"
"Pfff. I'm only here to see the battle, and, my Serperior is good... Way better then any other starter." Kairo exclaimed, having a rude tone. "Serrrrp!" Serperior shouted.
Chespin aimed Vine Whip at the dirt cloud, trying to hit Froakie or anything hidden in it, but the dirt cloud created visual obstruction giving Zane a unique opportunity.
"Ride the vine!" Zane yelled as Froakie jumped on one of Chespin's vines and began to run on it showing amazing balance.
"Use Cut!" Zane called out as Froakie prepared his twin blades as he ran on the vine straight towards Chespin, looking for the decisive blow.

"Well, that's unique." Mary said as she saw Zane's Froakie running along Chespin's Vine Whip, Eevee looked on in amazement.
"No need to be rude. Every Starter is great in their own way, no one is better than any other." Mary said to the Serperior trainer, unhappy with the tone of his statement.

"Pfff. Whatever you say, miss talks-a-lot." Kairo said to Mary. Serperior agreed, as he was grinning slightly. "Anyway, now that your here, care to have a battle? If your a weakling, I can take you on. My Zangoose vs. any of your Pokemon." The young boy said.

Platinum wanted to say something amidst of their pre-battle argument, but he hadnt had the opportunity before the two prepared for the fight.
He stepped back a couple feet himself, him and Helioptile, who clung to his shoulder, whipped their heads back and forth attempting to watch both battles. Things were getting a bit chaotic, and he wasnt sure as to how he should respond.

"Go, Zangoose!" The rude boy exclaimed, revealing a bear-like and intimidating Pokemon. "Zan..." The Pokemon said, ready to battle. "Pfff. Your just a weakling. Your Eevee can't beat my Zangoose!" The boy said, trying to tease Mary through being... rude.
Zangoose was hit, but it didn't do much, because Zangoose was pretty well-trained. "Close Combat!" The Trainer shouted, letting Zangoose rush over to Eevee, and attack it with several slaps, kicks, punches, and slashes.
