(Roleplay)
135 miles away from the closest land, there exists a remote island called Kyogre Lake Island that's meant only for the most promising of Pokémon Trainers. It's small enough to be remote, but large enough to be recognized. It has one massive lake in its center as its main attraction. On top of that lake is the most rich and prestigious school in the world: Kyogre Lake Academy.
The exact ramifications of who gets invited is almost unknown. It's almost as if they select students based on the word of a divine being. But those who are selected are guaranteed success in their future, many going on to compete for the title of Champion in other regions. Many want to enter, but few actually do. But what really happens in Kyogre Lake Academy? Beyond all of the action and high school romance, there's a secret underbelly that many of the students prefer not to press...
Hey all, just wanted to start a casual Pokéschool RP. Nothing suspicious going on here.

The school is built on top of a large lake, and the school itself is a big rectangular building with a giant spire sprouting from the middle. That spire has an elevator, which teachers can use to get to their offices. Students, on the other hand, are confined to the stairs inside the building.
The classrooms are large and have a plethora of windows on one side to make the students feel less claustrophobic. These windows usually have scenic views of the island, and allow the sun to shine in on the classroom and give it very natural lighting. Rumor has it that the school has no electricity at all, save for the spire.
The school also has three smaller fields for trainers to do battle in, and one large stadium that holds grand tournaments that the whole world comes to see.
We can control the teachers, but we can also control who has what classes with who. Half of the day is dedicated to the essentials (math, literature, history) and then the other half is dedicated to Pokémon battle-related things (type matchups, abilities, items, things like that, and also classes go outside to battle each other, though this can only be one class per day) with a free period to separate the two halves.
The identity of the school's headmaster is known only to a few. People only refer to him as The Headmaster, but despite this, he's known as a very nice old man, often being flexible with his students if he sees who they truly are.

Male: A white tunic with gold trimming on the edge of the sleeves and the button-up area. They have a white belt as well as white pants, with the only thing standing out being the black shoes.
Female: Same as the men's, except they were a long red tie and have a white pencil skirt instead of white pants.

Name: Jack
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Appearance: When not in school, Jack wears a black hoodie and dark blue sweatpants. He's also sporting blue sneakers. He has smooth, messy white hair that sometimes falls over his face. And he has bright blue eyes. He's pretty tall in stature, too.
Personality: Jack is known to be relatively asocial. He doesn't have a ton of friends, since he often relies on other people approaching him first. As a result, he had to find other ways to find fulfillment, like writing a journal that details a perfectly adequate life. He also has a secret part of his journal that he dedicates to writing about the life of a character he made up known as Akira. He wouldn't show a soul, though. Deep down, he yearns for companionship. A friend, a shoulder to lean on, anything. But he has no one.
Backstory: Jack grew up in a school where Pokémon battling was the biggest thing since sliced bread. As a result, he took up Pokémon battling in an attempt to be popular, but it only made him hated due to eventually besting the school's best trainers. As a result, he closed himself off from interaction due to his reputation, but his skills proved valuable enough to be invited to Kyogre Lake Academy. He promised himself he would become the best at that school, too.
Pokémon: Jack has an Empoleon and a Gallade, but didn't bring any other Pokémon in hopes he would find new ones at Kyogre Lake Island.
