As they moved, Zeren looked around the area, squinting at anything remotely suspicious. All the while, he held his worm "buddy" with two fingers.
"Um, could you not hold me so lightly? I don't want to fall."
Zeren blinked, bringing up the worm to eye level and studying it. It bent away shyly.
"I-If you don't mind..." it continued.
Zeren reacted with mild surprise. "Oh, you talk." he paused, thinking. "I guess that makes sense. Communication and all."
The worm assured him with a small "Mm-hmm." before deciding it was safe enough to introduce themselves. "My name is-"
They were immediately shushed. "Don't care. Won't remember." Zeren stated simply. "I'll call you Worm for now. I'll think of something inventive later."
"Oh....well can I-"
"Yeah yeah I'm on it." Zeren zipped his tracksuit slightly open, giving Worm space to wriggle in and hide under it once he zipped back up.
"Ground rules: No skin contact. No excessive sliming. And you better be quick or tough, because I'm not protecting that spot any more than the rest of my body."
Worm gave another quiet "Mm-hm."

Momo Yoshi, Utogi Caravan
Yoshi mostly talked to Mimizu, who was in her pocket.
“Do you have a favorite color?” She asked him.
“Uh…Not really. You?” Mimizu said.
“I like light purple.” She replied.
They were just talking about random things that came to mind. Usually just questions from Yoshi.
She turned to Keito and asked, “Keito-sensei, where are we headed?” Did the Hokage say where we were going?…Oh well.

Ugokasenai Keito, Utogi Caravan

"Good question, Yoshi," Keito said, reaching into his coat to produce a small map, which he unfurled to take a long look at, "The caravan heads straight out of Konoha, toward the Land of Fire's border with the Land of Wind. Then we head along the border basically all the way around to the Land of Lightning."

Pausing, the jonin tucked the map back into his coat.

"Hopefully we won't have to stick with the caravan on their whole trip," He said, "The attacks they've reported happened between Konoha, the Land of Wind and the Land of Rain -- so that's our point of interest. We'll have to be on our toes tomorrow, when the caravan makes its first stop."

~Byukia Katzuke...~

"When we get to the address I'm going to look for evidence if possible. While I do that, keep an eye on Yeita and make sure he doesn't lie. Go ahead and ask him about his witness testimony. Make sure he isn't lying" Byukis said.

She headed to the first destination. It was Yeita's house. Byukia knocked on the door, and turned to her genin, "Remember to stay calm no matter what, and be on your best behavior" Byukia said smiling.

"How may I help you today?" Yeita asked.

"If you don't mind, we'd like to ask you a few questions, is that okay?" Byukia asked.

"Ugh... Sure..." Yeita said.

"I hope you don't mind if I have a look around" Byukia said.

"S-s-sure!" Yeita said.

~HISATO GATO...~

"How long is it gonna take to get to our destination?" Hisato said.
"The sooner you start moving those feet instead of that mouth, the sooner we will get there" Wombo said.
"But do you know?" Hisato asked again.
"Sure... Lemme use my psychic powers to mark the distance...Eeeerrrrr!! It's definitely a distance away" Wombo said.
"Lunch?! I am speeeed! Land of wind and rain, huh?" Hisato said speed walking down the path.

“Ooh, cool. I can’t wait for lunch!” Said Yoshi excitedly. She chuckled as she caught a bit of Hisato’s conversation with Wombo.

Chishima Toko, Konohagakure Streets
Toko just nodded to everything Byukia-sensei said. She knocked on the door and Mr. Yeita opened the door. He seemed a little…concerned? Confused? Nervous? Maybe all three?
“Um, Byukia-sensei?” Toko whispered, tugging on the jonin’s sleeve a bit. “How can we tell if he’s lying?” He knew there were several ways, he just didn’t know how they worked.

Makoto Takahashi, Utogi Caravan
After a few hours of moving with the caravan, Makoto had gotten actually quite accustomed to the Ubontochi's rambling. To be honest, if the worm wasn't constantly talking to him he'd probably be bored out of his mind at this point, so it was nice not constantly having his mind on when they'd stop for lunch.

"Land of Lightning huh... that's definitely a ways away. Hopefully we don't have to escort them the entire way." Makoto thought to himself as Keito explained their situation.

Previously Night's Shadow
Shin was consciously aware of her movements from tree to tree becoming more fluid and quieter as the caravan progressed. Probably a direct result of Ubonichi grumbling that only a “foolish human” would make “such a ruckus” and “cause so many vibrations” with a landing. He was getting annoying, but Shin found it a nice change to have someone keep bugging her when she didn’t want to be bugged, despite the worm’s constant irritability.

So they’re headed to the Cloud Village or somewhere near it then? Shin thought to herself. Bit of a hike. Wouldn’t be too bad if I didn’t have a worm with an ego the size of the sky on my shoulder the whole time. “Shut up,” she said to Ubonichi absentmindedly. His tone turned indignant for a worm, whatever that sounds like, when he said, “I wasn’t even saying anything!”

“Shut up anyway,” the girl responded. An iridescent beetle, not one of her own, had landed on her nose, and she was going cross-eyed trying to follow it. Suddenly it flew away, and she watched it go before leaping a few trees forward to stay with the caravan.

Utogi Caravan, Afternoon

For some odd reason, the caravan went on an hour longer than it was initially supposed to; but finally, at a little past one in the afternoon, the grand train of wagons lurched to a grinding halt. Right there in the middle of the narrow, forest road, the Utogi took up about all the room the road could afford. Without care, its drivers and riders clambered down from their positions to fix themselves something to eat.

One person pitched a small awning, setting up a fire to cook a broth over. Besides his fire he set up bowls, and some members of the caravan walked up, grabbed a bowl, filled it, thanked the man and went back about their break.

Keito gathered up the newly-dubbed Team 25 and handed out bento to each of the genin that comprised the squad.

"The caravan stops for two hours every day, lunch and dinner," He explained casually, keeping a final bento box for himself, "But you have twenty minutes. Team 13, you're in charge of protecting the caravan; we won't be far away, so if danger rears its head, I'll know. But -- if you make trouble, I'll know."

He punctuated his sentence with a tilted head and a crooked smile.

"Team 12, you're with me. Time to show me what you can do."

From their log-jammed road out of Konoha, Keito took the members of Team 12 into the forest proper, until he found a spot that had enough space for the four shinobi to train properly. The jonin instructed each of the three to go through their usual training exercises, with an emphasis on their best techniques.

While eating and taking over patrol of the caravan, Sachi, Makoto and Shin could each feel a pair - or set - of eyes glaring at them.

(training montage time! @Gamingfan @ThAtGuY101 @Shikowara time to show Keito what y'all do. @=Nightshade= @Nilion @Pinch good luck kiddos aheheh)

Yoshi ended up running out of questions for Mimizu so she just started tell him random stories. To this day, she still has no idea why she was attacked by 4 cats who had been the a trash can together.

When they stopped, Yoshi was quite glad. She had been bored out of her mind. Though, talking to someone did help a bit. But most of the time, it was silence. She thanked Keito-sensei for the food.

She followed the Worm Sage to an opening in the forest. She loved the sound of the breeze rustling the leaves on the trees. The strawberry blonde girl wasn’t sure where to start. Her training exercises were usually whatever came to mind. She looked over at Keito before walking over to a tree. She got nervous. He’s judging me, what do I do?…Uhh… If she were facing the others, they would have been able to tell that she was nervous. She didn’t know what to do. Most of her training was random stuff like jump improvement, flip improvement, chakra stuff, kunai practice, and the occasional kicks and hand techniques. I’ll probably look stupid next to the other two. She thought. I’ve got no cool jutsus or Kekkei Genkai. (Why do my characters have no self-confidence?…)
She stared at the tree in front of her for a bit before deciding to walk up it. She focused her chakra to her feet and started running up the tree. She got to the top in a few seconds, now being hidden in the leaves (Haha “hidden in the leaves” XD). She just kinda sat there for a bit, listening to the sound of the wind. She wondered what Team 11 was doing.
But her thoughts somehow brought her back to reality where she doubted herself often. She suddenly got angry and ripped a bunch of leaves off the tree. “Ugh!” She groaned. Yoshi jumped off the tree and started attacking it with punches. Stupid! Can’t! Even! Break! A freaking! Tree! She thought with every punch. She broke off enough bark so that you could see the wood underneath it. She cleared her throat and tried to act casual. My mom would never approve of this behavior. She thought. She looked back at Keito-sensei, just to make sure he wasn’t giving her weird looks.

Zeren grinned at the notion of training. The trip was boring, so this was a good opportunity as any to get some excitement in.
Still, spending the next few minutes practicing sword swings didn't sound all that fun, and he lacked a pocket-father for sparring...
Ah, sparring!
Zeren cupped his hands over his mouth and called out. "Oi! Loud Mouth! Girlie!" he brought up his fists, grinning. "Which one of y'all is up for a practice scuffle?"
He heard Worm whimper nervously within his tracksuit. "Please don't let me be squished."
Zeren shrugged. "I don't make the rules."
"But you di-" Worm sighed. "...nevermind."

Four Leaf Clover
Clover looked around Yeta's residence, looking for anything suspicious. He was probably taking things too far, glaring at anything and everything as if already decided Yeta was guilty of something.
Really though, his untrained eye didn't find anything interesting. He nonetheless stood as tall as he could for maximum intimidation, waiting for the others to initiate the interrogation.

"itadakimasu!!!" Hisato said before beginning to eat.

"Woah, woah! Chew kid, chew! The food isn't gonna go anywhere" Wombo said.

Hisato only needed three minutes to finish his meal. Hisato was speed eating and chugging his beverage. Hisato used the remaining seventeen minutes to get HYPED.

"Show you what I got?! Show us what you got?! Show you what we got!!!! Team twelve golden, baby" Hisato said with a piece of food still on the side of his face.

Hisato figured he'd take the attack initiative. He ran at Keito extending a bone blade from his right arm. He jumped to the left, and then the right then leaped up to kick the worm sage in the face with the heel of his foot with a sweeping horizontal movement. Hisato dropped to the ground and spun trying to cut Keito's leg. His left arm extended outwards towards Keito. He extended his second bone blade right for Keito's groin area for a quick easy win attempt.

~Byukia Katzuke...~

Byukia smiled then whispered in Toko's ear. Then did the same with Clover. Byukia whispered a few tell tale signs of a liar. Byukia began looking around the house for clues.

~Tell Tale Signs...~

- Excessive fidgeting
- Direction of their eyes
- Usual rise and fall in vocal tone
- Change in speech patterns

Utogi Caravan, Team 12 Training:

Things started out simply enough; the young kunoichi took off up a tree displaying quite impressive chakra control for her age.

"Nice job, you're doing-" Keito started to compliment the young girl, but his voice was lost between the distance between him and her; instead, she jumped down to the ground with a flash of anger, unleashing a flurry of sloppy, angry punches into the trunk of the tree she'd climb, "Great...you're doing great, Yoshi. Work on your taijutsu a bit more though-"

Zeren cupped his hands over his mouth and called out. "Oi! Loud Mouth! Girlie!" he brought up his fists, grinning. "Which one of y'all is up for a practice scuffle?"

With a smile, Keito started to nod in approval; it seemed like a good chance to see what they could do. When:

"Show you what I got?! Show us what you got?! Show you what we got!!!! Team twelve golden, baby" Hisato said with a piece of food still on the side of his face.

And the odd little genin charged at the Worm Sage without a care in the world. Keito ducked under the high kick Hisato made, reaching out with one hand to grab at Hisato's wrist as the kekkei genkai user swung in where Keito's leg had been. With his other hand did the same, grabbing at Hisato's other wrist as he stabbed in for a below-the-belt attack.

"No," Keito said softly, shaking his head "No, no."

The jonin released his grip and leapt away as fast as he could, hoping Hisato wouldn't try to attack again before he could say any more.

"Spar with your squad or show me your daily training exercises," Keito said with a sigh, "I didn't tell you to try and attack me."

“Are you okay?” Asked Mimizu, poking his head out of her pocket.
“Just frustrated is all.” Yoshi mumbled. She then looked over at Zeren. “Girlie?! Ha! I’ll make you regret saying that!” She said to the Secret Uchiha (the amount of nicknames Zeren gives to people is hilarious).
She knew this probably a bad idea, but she wanted to at least try to beat him up. As she put up her fists, she had a thought…I’m so dead. She let a small chuckle, laughing at herself for taking up this fight.

Zeren cocked his head, already wearing his signature smug smirk. "You're saying you aren't a chick? Don't think I was gonna go easy on you just cause of that 'kay?"
Seeing how Yoshi only imitated his action, he decided to act first. He forcefully dug his left heel down, launching himself at Yoshi and starting with a rather half-hearted roundhouse. Despite his words, he had no intention of damaging Yoshi too much. He may not hold back during his father-son training. but it wouldn't be efficient having to deal with this mission with a hurt teammate.

Sachi felt physically fine, but the continuous traveling had started to induce a tunnel vision-like state onto the boy. When Keito-Sensei said it was time for a break, the young Mud-Nin happily obliged.
Upon receiving a bento box from Keito-Sensei, Sachi plopped down directly where he’d been standing, ready to eat. Unfortunately for him, just as he was about to dig in, the intrusive voice of Ubonikari piped up.

“If ya gonna start stuffin’ ya crusty face with that food, put me down first. I don’t wanna watch that up close!”

Letting out a small sigh, Sachi quickly gave his head a firm shake, causing the little passenger in his hair to fall down onto his shoulder.

“Hey! Watch it! You don’t see me throwin’ ya around, do ya?!”

Ubonikari wriggled violently on Sachi’s shoulder as he complained, prompting a small chuckle from the Leaf Genin.

“OH YOU THINK DIS’ IF FUNNY, DO YA?!? Let’s have it out! Right now!!! You and me!!!”

Chishima Toko, Yeita’s House
Toko nodded after Byukia finished whispering to them. He watched as she looked around the residence. He looked at Yeita, not exactly sure what to say. “Um…Mr. Y-Yeita, was it?” He began. “I was wondering if you could, uh, explain what you saw happen in the bar the other night?” He made sure to observe his movements carefully.

Momo Yoshi, Forest
The kunoichi had heard Keito’s comment. She knew she wasn’t the best at taijutsu but she still loved it. Her emotions were confusing to her. She wasn’t sure why she had such random mood swings if thats what you wanted to call it.

Yoshi jumped over Zeren’s head as he went to kick her. She then faced him and threw a few kunai at him, pretty sure that he’d deflect them with his sword or another kunai. She landed, holding another kunai, just in case.

Hisato grinned at Keito as if he didn't try destroy any chances of the jonin ever having kids.

"If I had a face, you'd see just how much I am shaming you" Wombo said.

Hisato kicked up dirt to blind Keito. Hisato used the momentum from the kick to throw his other leg up and launch a round house kick which looked like it would hit low(hip), but curved and went head level. Hisato swung both of his arm blades at Keito's arms.

~Byukia Katzuke...~

Byukia began looking around the different rooms for hidden clues and evidence. She occasionally turned to see how her genin were doing.

~Yeita...~

Yeita looked over at Toko and responded.

"My head was doing cartwheels that day. Nasty headache, but I fought through the pain and was serving drinks. Maku ordered a drink. I give him his drink and I make my way to the next customer when I hear Maku yell. I turn and see Okko drinking from his glass. I got onto them both for yelling. I woulda threatened to kick em out then and there but my gosh darn head... Things just kept escalating. Eventually I had to make em leave. I told Andu to call the authorities. They got here pretty quick. Maku resisted, but those damn Uchiha pigs didn't need to kill him! The man could hardly stand, and they pinned him on his stomach, and that's when the police did him in. Those police were out of line! I woulda left work sooner, but all this drama was happening outside my bar."

Chishima Toko, Yeita’s House
Why in Konoha did they kill him? “Thank you, Mr. Yeita.” Said Toko, hands behind his back. “Can I ask what caused your headache?” He wasn’t sure if this had anything to do with anything, but it could. He caught a could glimpses of Byukia every once in a while. Clover was just staring at things…I’m not sure why. He just was.

Ugokasenai Keito, Team 12 Training:

Catching his breath before turning his attention to Zeren and Yoshi, Keito found himself being warned of another impending attack by one of the many worms fused to his body. Turning his attention, he found a misting of dust kicked up into his face meant to blind him. Not that Keito necessarily needed his eye sight at that exact moment.

Even as Hisato's other foot came up for a kick to the side of Keito's head, the jonin raised his right hand in front of his face, making one-half of the classic Ram hand seal.

Hisato's foot, mere fractions of inches from connecting, passed through a poofing cloud of white smoke, his bone blades having a similar experience even as the jonin appeared several feet behind the odd kekkei genkai user.

"I know you can hear me when I'm speaking to you," Keito said somewhat softly, with a low hmmm to follow, "So are you just immune to instructions?"

Utogi Caravan, Lunchtime:

"WHAT in the HELL is it you think you're DOING!?"

A voice shouted from behind the trio of Team 13; a young girl around their age - maybe a year younger if that - climbed out of the back of a wagon. She dropped to the uneven ground with an untrained slowness, although she ran up to the genin with a speed that seemed both aggressive and anxious.

"You talking to a worm on your shoulder! You playing with bugs! You...you..." The girl pointed a finger at Sachi, then Shin, then finally Makoto, stumbling over her own words. Her anxiousness and aggressiveness looked to be boiling over into tears, "...You just-just sitting there all empty-headed-like! Where did the rest of them go?! Why aren't you protecting us!?"

New Leaf Hotel, Konohagakure:

Having made their way through two hotels, the pair of Kitomo and Sorano finally got a lead on Andu, the witness first on their list to speak to. At the top floor of the building, Andu's room lay at the end of the hall and on their right-hand side. With the knuckles of his right fist, Kitomo knocked on the door with a vicious triple tap.

No reply.

The interrogator waited several moments, signing to Sorano to, "Be on the lookout, and get ready to go in behind me."

Knocking again, Kitomo knocked harder and louder, again waiting for a reply. Then, both could hear the sound of someone dropping to the floor with a horrible thud, writhing around in muffled pain.

"Let's move," He signed, raising up a heavy right boot to kick the basic, wooden door off it its hinges. And in he went.

The room was more like a suite, with a single room dividing a small kitchen from a small living space; a short hallway stretched between the two, adjacent from the the entrance. On either side, two smaller rooms. At the end of the hallway, a window, left open to catch the breeze.

Of course, Yoshi wouldn't go out so easily, avoiding him. Zeren spun himself around and, obviously showing off, deflected a kunai up with his sword, and anoth-nope, he missed. He ended up getting a cut on his cheek for his trouble. Nonetheless, he remained undeterred as he grabbed the falling Kunai, sheathed his katana, winked tauntingly, ran towards Yoshi, and slashed horizontally.

Four Leaf Clover
Clover continued to walk around, glaring at things around and above. Sadly, he failed to account for below, resulting in him tripping over of own feet seemingly at random. Clover desperately attempted to balance himself, failing to and slamming rather roughly into a shelf, knocking it over. It crashed and out fell a mix of kunai, shuriken, and other things he couldn't distinguish so easily to fall over and clatter loudly. Fortunately he avoiding crashing himself as the collision righted him back up, though the sound made him flinch.
Clover sighed sheepishly. "I uh...whoops. That's my bad.". He wasn't normally this destructive.
Initial toughness forgotten, Clover got on his knees and carefully grabbing a kunai and nearly placed it back, before it hit him.
"Weapons?" he asked to no one in particular, though he expected the ruckus have brought in the other's by now.

"Where'd you go?!" Hisato said looking around.

"You didn't say fight eachother! You said show us what we gooot!" Hisato said bending backwards and lunging backwards to try hit the worm sage with his bones.

"And I got the fiiiya! Yeeaaaaaah!!" Hisato said planting his hands on the ground and went to drop kick him with both feet.

~Byukia Katzuke...~

"Well well well! What did you find, Clover?" Byukia said walking over. Byukia looked at the boy making sure he didn't have any scrapes or booboos. She looked at the kunai "Interesting" Byukia said.

~Yeita...~

"I honestly don't know... Okko and Maku we're arguing and it became fighting and things just kept escalating. I assumed the headache was just from stress, to be honest..." Yeita said to Toko.

Yeita looked over at Clover who fell. His concerned look turned into a nervous glare as he saw his ninja tools knocked to the floor so carelessly. Through some horrible misfortune his things were in plain sight. He tried to maintain composure, but it was difficult seeing the kunai and things for the ninjas to see. "Uuughh..." Yeita muttered.

Stress? Hm…That’s a pretty common trigger, I believe… The crash of the shelf and weapons made Toko look over quickly. He wanted to go see if Clover was okay, but didn’t want to leave Yeita, just in case. “You okay?” Asked the noirette.
