Private/Closed Naruto AU: Roleplay

Shura looked at Sakon. He chuckled at his proposal. "So if we let you and your brother go, you'll spare me?" Shura said while facing down with his eyes closed. He then turned to Sakon with an unimpressed look in his eyes. "I Refuse. Seeing what you're like, this sounds like a perfect deal for backstabbing." He said. He then activated Byakugan and shook of one of his arms from Sakon's grasp and brought to his chest. "Since you are now sharing a body with me, I assume any damage I take you alse take the same. Unlucky for you because I'm not above self inflicting harm to deal with my enemies." Shura said with a smirk before unleashing a Vacuum Wave into at his chest. The hit would shake his inside damage his lungs and a few ribs and scrape his heart, blood would be spat out of its victim's mouth.

Much like it’s victim, Sakon also spurt a bit of blood from his mouth. ...what? The victim was crazy enough to harm himself just to
Prove a point! Idiots were always to bargain with...especially if sakon’s life was on the line.

“Think about it! Why kill yourself just to take out half of somebody?!” Sakon reasoned, starting to panic. “Your goal was to get the box right?! You would have failed that utterly if you ended yourself now!”

While Sakon was getting desperate, he knew logically shura was bluffing...probably. And he doubted his sister would just watch as her brother killed himself

Shura looked the other way before pulling down his mask to spit some blood out, he put the mask back on and turned to Sakon with a death stare. "There are others here, even if I fall they will pick up after me." He said as he raised his fist. "Seeing the dangerous ability you have and how troublesome you and your brother are together, sacrificing my life to take at least one of you out will be worth it to reduce the trouble you can cause. But if you're afraid of dying, I suggest you surrender." Shura said as he threw his fist towards his gut.

Kiro raised an eyebrow at ‘Yasu’ flat out denying he was involved with Tomiko in any way. Luckily, Kiro wasn’t the only one had caught this as Zaku blurted out the undeniable evidence. Even if it were the case, and they weren’t involved in any way, so quickly denying it kept Kiro suspicious.

“Anyways...” Kiro rubbed his hair as he remembered what they were talking about. “As I was saying, in order too pass the exam, I had to kill my classmates.” Kiro stated the words while keeping his rather calm expression the same. It showed that the trauma of that memory had been lost on him. “I guess I should be grateful that it was a battle royale format. It made it a little easier for me. But watching one friend rip the heart out of another is still a horrific experience. One I hope no one that young will ever have to experience.” Kiro spoke, glancing over at Kou before refocusing his thoughts. “When I killed Hashima, it was supposed to be another kill. But I guess the only reason it was different was because of the amount of people watching. It was the first time I felt guilty since that time, but atleast I know that it me who ultimately made the choice to kill her.” Kiro was now looking at the hand he had used to slit her throat.

“I was just a child when I learnt about the gift, or rather curse I’d been given. Contrary to the belief, having an ability in a place where no one else has it, isn’t as good as it may seem. Something so feared but coveted at the same time is something that must be controlled. It must be used for the ‘good’ of the nation. Being truly outside the Mist, now I see that there’s so much more than just being a toy. Now that I’ve seen it’s possible to start from scratch, without the help of being born with given talent, I know I can become something more than just these eyes. Something greater than just another tool for a cruel nation. Following a path that was carved out by another will only take you so far. If you truly wish to be set apart from the rest, then you must carve out your own path. One you must endure till the end.” Those last sentences had been inspired by the words that had been dug into his mind the day before. Words that had inspired him to begin walking the path he was currently on. Even so, Kiro quickly pushed the memory away, not wanting to hear her voice at the moment.

The Mist had taught Kiro well enough. But now was the perfect opportunity to move on unless he wished to remain a pawn for the Mist. The same would be for Orochimaru and anyone else he crossed paths with. Trust, use, or kill. Nothing in between.

Looking back at ‘Yasu’, Kiro was more determined than ever to continue on the path he was on. “Do you really believe I want to be a slave to the will of a nation who only sees me as a tool? Another nation who uses its shinobi as weapons to be thrown in the flames of war. I’ll hear your answer and then we’re leaving.”

“Noo!”

Sakon Yelled as shoved himself out of Shura, his body shoving Shura into his own fist. Sakon’s own body hadn’t been punctured as far as his lungs and heart went, but still felt as if it were. Shura and demolished himself, something that sakon hadn’t even thought of. His own physical state was severely damped due to the shock his body was in after the pain.

Ukon bit down one the ribbons, trying to tear them up when his body was restricted. Shiho was no doubt going to show some reaction he may take advantage of.

......

As the paper bomb exploded, Jirobo covered his eyes, as he expected a big flame to ensue...which didn’t come. Apparently it had been used as a smoke screen with a small charge, shielding Taiyo’s movements. Luckily, the wounded ninja was sloppy, his limited muscle strength allowed Jirobo to locate his position.

“Don’t bail on me! Your hardly worth the effort!”

The never the less Jirobo pursued, his chakra reserves remaining still enough to keep him a step ahead of Taiyo. He was catching up fast, his muscle mass allowing him to kick off from every branch farther and faster

Seeing Sakon leave his body, Shura managed to just stop his fist from colliding with his body before turning around and jumped at Sakon, he would aim to punch the guy into the ground and knock him out so he can't cause more problems. Shura would then fall on one knee and let out a deep breath dus to the damage he dealt to himself. "Darn." He said while holding his chest.

Shiho had finished wiping the blood away from her eyes when she looked up and saw Ukon biting the ribbon. "You're wasting your energy, those ribbons have steel threads woven in them." She explained.

Sagisō

Sagisō continued on, paying little to no attention to the ongoing battle, trusting that Takato would be able to hold his own until she secured the captive, or that she'd be capable enough to bring his corpse back to the leaf. Since she was moving rather slowly to avoid attracting attention, her mind had plenty of time to wander. Her chakra capacity wasn't low by any means, but it also wasn't insanely high, and that would be a problem. While excellent chakra control allowed one to maximize their chakra efficiency, Sagisō realized she still had no real means of replenishing her chakra in an emergency. The problem had never really occurred to her before as she'd never been forced to fight this many battles one after the other before...

She'd planned to ask her Aunt, Hinagiku, to teach her water style when she returned to the village, but Sagisō realized now that learning water style at this moment wasn't the most effective usage of her time. Instead, it would be far more useful if she trained her skills in the gentle fist to their peak and learned to wield the Twin Lion Steps. With that technique in her arsenal, she would be much more suited for long, drawn out, battles of attrition. She'd already run out of chakra twice in such a short space of time, and as they say, third time's the charm, she might just end up dead going three for three.

"Yasu" and company listened to the speech that Kiro gave, the cruelty of what the Mist had done in those days clear to all of them. Tomiko herself, who had observed from the hiding spot Yasu & Mori were in, seemed horrified at that kind of ceremony as she covered her mouth with one hand as her eyes widened.

"So, your goal is to not be just a tool of a "cruel" nation and you aim to achieve this by going and being a tool of a cruel nation. Are you that oblivious to what the sound has done? The atrocities they've committed today alone?"

Madoka's voice spoke up as she faced Kiro with a mild glare. As he was the focus on her speech, though she also hoped that Zaku heard these words as well. Given all she had seen recently with the Oto-invasion Kiro's idea of going to a nation that didn't use him as a tool or was cruel seemed laughable. She would have spoken up again in a suprise outburst but "Yasu" held his hand out to motion for her calm down a bit as he thought it over for a moment before he faced Kiro to speak.

"I think there's more to being a ninja than being a blind weapon. And I can see the desire to escape that, but it just seems you are jumping from being the Mist's slave to that of Oto's. Will this really end up giving you what you want?" "Yasu" asked as Tomiko had gotten over the shock of the horrors that Kiro grew up with as she thought it over.

A nation that had forced its own to pick each other off. Just for some...twisted survival of the fittest mentality? Between that and our Kage's disregard for those among the slums...does one need to have cruel tendencies to be a Kage? No...I refuse to believe that! And I refuse to believe Kiro hates the Mist enough to be blind to see he is just giving himself up to another nation that will use him as a tool. How can someone so strong see himself as something so low?

----------
"Reaver...we did not come here for pointless battles. I know you have a desire to get trophies, but we have nothing to gain with meddling."

Azumi had been against the idea of jumping in. Her "partnership" with the Sound had done little for her so there was no reason to go out of her way to protect Zaku or Kiro. Not unless one of them offered her good reason to fight for them.

In truth she could understand and sympathize with Kiro's plight; the major nations of the world did use their people as weapons and cared little for them. That kind of twisted culture only served to strengthen her resolve all the more. Though she only hoped that she could keep Reaver from making a reckless action...

Oh for fuck's sake!

Tayuya had grown incredibly irritated at this Mist-nin as his shattering titan broke apart as dozens of various ice shards, needles or chunks had been shot at her from seemingly all ares within her position. With her Doki being used as a literal springboard Tayuya had to rely on her own abilities to survive. Given the gimp in her leg, she needed some help with this as she brought her flute to her lips and quickly began to play a new demonic tune.

In a flash, it appeared as if Tayuya's body was covered by several roots that wrapped around her which blocked the incoming ice shots one after the other. Once the siege ended the branch removed itself as Tayuya appeared to be unharmed.

"Oh what's the matter? Seems your little icicles didn't do shit to me. And you had all that bold talk." Tayuya laughed.

Though in truth, it wasn't Tayuya. But merely an illusion, as Tayuya cast a powerful genjutsu that caused an illusion persona of herself to appear in a branch just before her actual position; which she tried to to to throw off Kai's aim. And it worked....to a degree.

"Shit!"

Tayuya cursed to herself as she pulled one of the ice needles from her shoulder, as blood dripped to the ground. In spite of her Genjutsu that threw off the target, and in spite of her own speed in the second stage. Tayuya had been unable to shake off the wounded heel and as such a few of the ice shards made contact with her body. Tayuya panted a bit as she hid behind the root of another tree as she tried to remove the lodged ice from her body, which caused more blood to drip down as she cursed at herself.

Not only that, but Tayuya began to felt chakra exhaustion. Granted, between the battle with the Konoha forces as they fled and the barrier during the invasion, Tayuya had been far from full capacity to begin with. But this fight with Kai and her injuries began to take a full as she felt her curse mark threaten to resend on her as she felt her skin glow a bit and her horns begin to resend. Soon enough she returned to her normal form as she glanced at her lighter colored hands and cursed to herself as she slammed the bark of the tree she was behind.

I can't believe this! I'm letting this brat make a fool out of me! Well fuck him! Curse mark or not I am gonna pound him into paste if it's the last thing I do!

Tayuya glanced up at Kai as her genjutsu continued to trash talk the unsuspecting Kiri nin as she prepared another song. Her genjutsu copy had done the same as from Kai's perspective the genjutsu fake of her would send some branches charging towards him to try and bash him as they seemed to brush past opposite trees with no effect to them. Though in truth Tayuya commanded her Doki behind Kai as it, for what she hoped would be the final time, unleased the chakra worm with its sharp teeth to take a bite out of Kai to drain him dry. Both the real Tayuya and the fake genjutsu persona mouthed the same words towards Kai.

"DIE YOU PIECE OF SHIT!"

----------
Takato cursed as he jumped back as the acid seemed to trace along his shadow back towards him as he was forced to cancel the shadow possession even as it inched close to Kin as he could not risk being melted on the spot like everything else along the path of the attack.

Takato jumped over to a tree branch across from Kin as he paused to consider his options. His chakra was low, he felt the damage from the battle with Kidomaru and he was up against a pissed off Kin who he knew nothing about beyond she could spit acid. All in all he had not been the biggest fan of his chances, and realistically he knew he had one good shadow possession left in him even if he managed to connect. Either way, he needed to stall for Sagiso's sake as he pulled out a single kunai with a paper bomb attached as he tossed it at Kin's direction.

A rather...basic attack, which he figured would only highlight his "desperation" to Kin as he quickly dashed behind a tree as if to try a hit & run strategy. Though it was only part of his plan as he pulled a pair of chakra blades while he hid himself as he waited for Kin to act before he put his next part of the plan into place.

Mori saw the complete and utter shock on Tomiko's face and to be honest, he couldn't blame her. He was just as shocked when he found out about it. He always thought that Kiri was just a village that loved to kill its own genin, but since he left Iwa he started to doubt that idea. What if it was a 'end justifies the means' measure? What if the reason that they did this was his own village?

Mori grew up in Iwa, constantly being reminded that his village was the best and that other villages were scum that needed to be eraticated. He strongly believed that ideology but ever since he met people from other villages, that ideology started to fall apart. Sure, they did not defend their own village as fiercely as he did but they had one thing in common, all of them said that Iwa was no better than the other villages and might even be the worst one. And the evidence for that was clearly visible. The Tsuchikage almost always declared a war, he did not care about the slums and hired sketchy mercenary groups to do the dirty work for him. He was just so blinded by propaganda that he never noticed it.

"Some things you just can't believe right? I reacted the same once I found out about this. But I might have a reason as to why Kiri does this. It might be because of us. Iwa constantly is at war with Kiri and they might do this so that they have strong and capable ninja to defend their village." He whispered to Tomiko before looking down, visibly hurt and full of disbelief. He was incredibly proud of his village and to disgrace it by suspecting it to be the cause of manslaughter was one of the worst things that he could do in his eyes. His world started to fall apart and he began to see the real world, and it was nothing like the stories that he was told back at home. If he didn't need to be quiet, he would have a mental breakdown out of disbelief and the realisation that his world was more like a dream that anything else.

Sakon swerves his face to the side, just barley evading a punch from Shura. He expected a follow up strike when Shura suddenly collapsed. A few breathes escaped Sakon Before it turned into a chuckle, and then a fit of laugher. Sakon then rose to his feet, his trembling from the shock of the pain was wearing off. His body had obtain no injuries from the damage shura had caused, but only the pain. One of the biggest positives of the technique.

“Heh...that was your only trick left wasn’t it?”

Sakon demeaned shura, looking to his brother in the ribbons. Unlike his brother, he still had quite a bit of chakra left over, even though he was still a bit shaken. He touched ukon, who seemed to be vacuumed out of the ribbons upon touch and back inside of Sakon.

“Took you long enough brother....” ukon groaned.

“Was just taking care of a little insect. Which reminds me...”

Sakon flipped back around at the injured shura, his arms winding up as he planned to go for the kill shot.

“Multiple fists barrage!”

.......

“What?!?”

Tayuya seemed to cover herself in a barrier of wood, bending it to her will! Is she a part of the fabled senju clan?! It’s true that she hasn’t showed and element type yet, but this....

To kai, it seemed the ice was simply breaking upon impact, even though in actuality the ice was flying through the other side, the illusion making it seem as if she was bending wood. He landed down on the branch, weary from his last attack. Upon tayuya’s snarky remark, he twitched, his mask still fallen off.

“Is wood style really that powerful?” Kai stayed, his heart dropping. “Your body isn’t wood, it will break much easier, I will make sure of that!”

Kai was preparing another justu, one that would try and supersede the wood barrier tayuya had made...that is before a long wooden spike broke right through his chest. He was shocked, and stopped casting his justu. He was expecting to cough up blood...but he felt nothing. He didn’t know quite what to make of it.

“What is this...it’s not real. Is this...genjustu?!”

Before he could make a organized through about it, he felt a stinging pain from behind him. Out of his chest, came a chakra eel, sapping what little chakra he had left! He grabbed his stomach, backing up and propping himself up on a trunk of a tree. He breathed heavily, his innards churning and eyes blurring.

“Ngah! Stay away from me Xeno swine!”

He pointed senbon toward the voice that he had noticed behind him. Since the one bending wood was a genjustu, that knew the other one must be the true one. He was using the senbon close to him as a weapon of last resort.

.......

Kin saw the kunai being flown toward her. She cackled out loud, hardly holding back her enjoyment. She spat out a thick tan ball of acid, which caught they paper bomb. She wiped her mouth, which had some left over burning fluid on it.

“Nyahahahahaha! Really?!” Kin said in her fit of laughter, quelling it for more of a sharp tone. “Now you shown yours, now for me to show mine!”

With the caught tag in the acid bubble floating between them, kin held out a single bell from her pocket. With a quick motion, she flicked it into the bubble. It slowly drifted into the center of the bubble where the explosive tag had been put out.

“I’ll teach you the dance of death!”

With that, her three long talons on either hand began to move, shuffle and motion. Inside the bubble, the bell began to ring, sending a ripples throughout the bubble before it became a blistering noise. The noise was meant to be able to specifically target anyone who listened to it, but Kin didn’t care about differentiation. It begun an ear shattering noise that would be a perfect conduit for genjustu, if allowed. But for now it was just the sound.

...........

“Who said anything about taking sides? Why don’t we just burn them all down! Both skdes would make fine trophies!”

Reaver was getting antsy. He hadn’t fought someone since the invasion, and this little group of ninja made a tempting target for the genin killer. Tapped his fingers rapidly on the ground, as his breath became like an animal watching prey.

“Whatever, if you want to pick sides we can. Can you imagine the trophies?? Imagine me taking that puppet from the sand one and displaying it with her headband, or that sound guy with tunnel arms, with his internal mechanations ripped out and mounted on my wall!”

.......

“No one is a slave in the sound!” Zaku interrupted their question. “Heh, you have some nerve to talk about our internal structure when you know nothing of it. Especially since the sand is practically a third world country.”

It struck a nerve with him that Madoka would criticize his village, even though she want the one who they tried to invade. He was mad about that comment but it didn’t maven him any less curious.

“So you came all the way here from the leaf just to nag us, or did you actually have a purpose? What could be so important it would bring you two sand ninja to interfere too eh?”

Kou was lost. He had no idea what these villages were aside the sound, which boss had told him was the good one, and leaf which was bad. He didn’t really knew what they stood for but he really didn’t care. He found himself daydreaming, thinking about where Tomiko might be, probabaly trying to be the rock queen

Kiro listened to Madoka’s outburst as well as the input from ‘Yasu’. They seemed to believe that they had caught Kiro slipping, his words contradicting his ideals. That would’ve been the case had Kiro not thought about the consequences of this decision. Though Zaku had tried to prove Madoka and ‘Yasu’ wrong with his statement, Kiro believed that to be false.

The reality was, anyone who blindly followed their village’s rule were nothing but slaves. Though Zaku may not see it, he was falling right into the same trap Kiro had. But now, unlike Zaku, Kiro could care less about the Sound. His loyalties were with Orochimaru and no one else. As long as Kiro got what he wanted, then he would play his part in the deal. In truth, he couldn’t expect to get what he wanted without any sort of trade off. Until he felt ready to move on, Kiro would have to pay his dues. Now that he understood this simply ideology, Kiro would never surrender himself completely to the will of any village.

Sure it sounded hypocritical to ditch one village for another, but Kiro believed he knew what he was doing. He would let Orochimaru believe he was the one in control, but when the time came, Kiro would continue on his path. If the snake tried to hold him down, then there would only be one question. How much would Orochimaru’s head be sold for? With Orochimaru’s guidance, he would be something more than just a pathetic Uchiha whose only advantage was his eyes. Let the snake underestimate his capabilities. Kiro was so confident in his own potential that he believed he could take on anyone once it was reached.

But instead of saying those ideas when he was standing right next to Zaku, Kiro chose to answer rather vaguely. He didn’t want Zaku to question his ‘loyalty’ so soon. “I’m a slave to no one. I was born into the Mist without a choice but now I can choose my own path. I’ve made this decision and I will have have to deal with the consequences. If I die, then so be it, but atleast I’ll die knowing it was no one’s fault but my own.” Kiro responded to Madoka before focusing more on ‘Yasu’, the one who had started this confrontation. “Well there’s my answer to your questions. I fulfilled my part of this deal so I hope you plan to hold up your end.” Kiro looked over towards Zaku now, still keeping his guard up however. “Are you ready to go, Zaku?”

"Hey, I'm still here you know!" Shiho shouted from behind Sakon and Ukon. "Bro is in trouble, I better do something." She thought before she weaved a few hand signs. "Water Style: Mist Stream." She said before releasing a stream of mist that would cover up Sakon and Ukon's vision.

Shura managed to get up before looking towards Sakon and Ukon. Taking advantage of the situation, Shura quickly curved around the fist barrage and approached the brother. He would then put his palm up to the brothers. "Vacuum Palm." He said as he shot a severely weakened chakra wave at the brothers.

Sakon was instantly covered in an odd mist, shrouding him and his enemy’s movements. He didn’t feel like his attack connected, meaning that his foe was in a more agile state than he had anticipated. He heard words being uttered beside him as he immediately knew what was to follow. He dove Down to the ground, sliding across the dirt as the chakra blast went over his head.

“Phew that was close...good thing a smoke screen...can be used two ways!!” Sakon should from inside the mist. “Brother, let’s combine our skills shall we?”

Ukon’s weakned state scowled at Sakon. “I hate you brother.”

“Love you too.”

Multiple limbs cyclone!”

Sakon burst out of the mist, spiraling toward shiho. Both of his arms seemed to be invisible as he was leaping through the air. The meat grinder like arms now descended toward her along with Sakon. With her brother in the mist, he would be no doubt blind to what was happening.

......

“Heh sure.” Zaku responded, scoffing at the pursuers. “These guys aren’t worth our time.”

“R-right! What boss said!”

Zaku smirked as he looked at ‘Yasu’ eyeing him up and down. He noticed something rather odd. The blasts that he had shot through him were gone. They were like bullet he’s, but a day later completely gone? This confused Zaku.

“say...did you have a miracle worker of a doctor?”

Shit, that big guy's gonna catch up to me soon, and then I'll be dead meat, only one place left to go. Clones aren't an option anymore, so Jirobo will catch on quickly, but he should take some time to land which gives me a little time to out some distance between us.
Taiyo gulped as he jumped down from the trees, trying to roll so he wouldn't break his legs like he did his original arms. The Leaf-nin took a moment to catch his breath as the fall from the trees was rather great. However he knew that the opposing Sound-nin could easily catch up to him so as a result, Taiyo had to increase his running speed despite being relatively out of breath.
If only Raiku or someone were here.

Shura's attack blew away the mist as Sakon jumped at Shiho. "Shiho!" He shouted as he saw what was happening. Sakon's attack hit Shiho head on, cuts and bruises appeared on her but Sakon's arms would then suddenly be tangled with a ribbon. Shiho groaned as she looked up. "Ow, that hurt but I'm falling in one attack." She said before spinning around as she would aim to throw Sakon away with her ribbon.

Shura ran next to his sister. "Shiho we're retreating. The situation is against us, we need to retreat and think of a plan." He said as his sister looked at him. "Alright." She responded. Shura has his hand in his ninja pouch and pulled out a flash bang which he would toss behing him towards Sakon and Ukon. Shiho would turn around and release a multitude of smoke bombs while she and her brother fled into the tree line.

Sakon was tugged by the ribbion, but wasn’t lifting off the ground, his barrage still going. His eyes locked hers as she tried to lift them.

“Lifting up the weight of one body is one thing, but the weight of two bodies? Not so much. Better luck in the next life punk.”

With that, his continued his cyclone, ripping up the ribbion like a blender, spinning. He traced the ribbion back to it’s owner, to try and shred her apart. He continued his trajectory, not knowing if he hit his target throughout the dense smoke that had now been summoned.

“Ngh! Have we hit her yet?” Ukon complained. “I want to sleep!”

“Patience brother, only kimimaro has beat us after all.”

.........

Jirobo landed a few get from Taiyo, his landing creating a small crater in the ground. He smiled a big fat smile as he walked toward the tired genin.

“Really? Is that it? At least your making it easier for me by sitting still. Take you place in the grave!”

Jirobo lunged toward Taiyo, his powerful fist bounding toward the tired, exhausted flame genin

"Yasu" had been prepared to deliver a retort to Kiro's question before he overheard Zaku's comment which concerned his arms. This puzzled Kenji for a moment...before he realized that the scars that Yasu had from his battle from Zaku were not present as Kenji failed to take that subtle detail into account. Kenji mentally cursed, but in his "Yasu" persona he kept his cool as he tried to play it off to the Oto-nin as he faced him.

"Sakura here is a pretty skilled medical ninja. Have to admit it surprises me as well." "Yasu" said in an attempt to play a bluff thought between that and Kiro's comment meant the whole thing was headed south. If Kiro left, the Oto-nin that showed the willingness to attack the most powerful nation would get a potential future powerhouse among their ranks. Which had not been a confidence booster to say the very, very least.

On the other hand, they were here just to get what information they could. While they were told fights might be possible it was not what they were here to do or what he had come to help Sakura with. Given Sakura's attitude towards Kiro after Hashima's death had not had the best opinion on Kiro. So there was no one with much incentive to charge after them. Though if Zaku or Kiro saw past the bluff they may lack the choice...

---------
Tomiko herself winced a bit as Zaku sensed the discrepancy between Kenji's disguise and the real Yasu. Tomiko balled her hands into fists as she tightened her gauntlets in preparation just in case it went to the worse case scenario.

But...would Tomiko simply allow Kiro to leave even if they did believe the bluff? Could she really let Kiro walk down what she believed was a destructive path. Such resentment and anger had not been unseen to her among those who turned to bullying within the slums. Tomiko didn't want Kiro to become that, even in spite of what he had done to her. Perhaps it was her "soft" heart, or the respect Kiro had given her which she struggled to fully grasp.

Regardless, she did not know what to do and that frustrated her to no end.

----------
Azumi saw how impatient that Reaver was getting which was bound to cause a problem. Her ally had more often than not roped them into less than favorable situations. The fact that Reaver seemed almost eager to jump in and just start a fight against two different groups. Even if Azumi agreed with the motion of a battle, going in on a frenzy and possibly being targeted by two different sides at once was not the ideal situation.

"I understand how you feel, but you must understand if we jump in there and instigate a fight we might get them to put aside their differences against newfound aggression we could be down 6 to 2. Not ideal numbers." Azumi said as she hoped Reaver would understand that if nothing else.

----------
Tayuya used her song to call back her Doki as the genjutsu duplicate faded and the real Tayuya emerged. Each step she took as she revealed herself caused a bit of blood to drop from the visible wounds sustained from Kai's ice attacks. Though the pain seemed secondary to the Oto-nin as she glared daggers through Kai as some killing intent had been directed towards him.

"Shut. The. Fuck. UP! I've have had it with your crap! Xeno this, Xeno that. Is that the only word you know how to say!? You have gotten on my absolute last nerve, and since you think I'm nothing but shit it's only fitting I stomp yours in!" Tayuya cursed as she brought her flute to her lips and began to play a new tune. The final Doki she had retracted its chakra worm before it began to advance towards Kai. Each step by the large behemoth caused a little rumble along the immediate area as it moved with a slow, deliberate pace. Appeared as if she wanted to make Kai squirm as the seemingly inevitable closed in on him. Before long the Doki stood before Kai who was slumped to the tree as it raised one of its large feet and aimed to slam it into Kai's head with the intent to smash his skull in with its monstrous strength.

---------
"Gah!"

Takato immediately cursed as he felt the sharp, ringing pain of the bell's sound as it moved through his ears to his eardrums as he fell to his knees and clasped his hands over them. Takato had never experienced a sound this painful, which was ironic considering this is what he should have expected given he was fighting ninja of the sound village.

Regardless, Takato had to suck it up now or he'd be in trouble. He quickly made a hand sign in front of his supplies before he held out what appeared to be three kunai while he kept one of the chakra blades in hand as he moved from behind the tree to toss them forward. Two of them seemed to target the bubble, though the irritation their target was a bit off but Takato hoped one of them would be enough to cut the edge of the bubble to burst it to drop and drop the noise making bell to the ground.

The other seemed focused on Kin, though the sound seemed to affect this one as the target was way off as it missed her body by a mile as it instead moved away from her to the branch.

Where her shadow had been, as the kunai transformed revealing it to be a disguised Chakra Blade with some of Takato's own chakra infused into it as he tried to stick it into Kin's shadow and hoped the faint was enough to fool her.

Mori did not like where this was going, these guys were a bit too smart in his opinion and they will figure out the bluff if given enough time. Tomiko seemed to be immensely frustrated and even though he had no idea what her relationship with these guys was, he could not blame her, this situation was getting on his nerves too.

He waited for anything to happen whilst surpressing his urge to get a mental breakdown after his recent discovery which he succeeded fairly well in, save for his shaking hands although those could easily be from his nervosity given the situation. Kiro's words did not really help either, but there was nothing that he could do except wait and hope that they reveal anything that might be important in the future.

While Sakon attacked blindly in the smoke while blinded by the flash bang, a blur ran out of the tree line and curved towards Sakon and Ukon. Shura dashed towards the brothers and swept his leg at them in an attempt to trip them. He would then spin around and hold up his arm with two fingers extended. He focused his chakra into his fingers and swung towards the back of Sakon's neck.

Sagisō

Her trip through the undergrowth of the forest was rather uneventful- which was a good thing. Shrouded in lofty white clouds of her own creation, Sagisō slipped through the battlefield unnoticed. Since she'd hidden before Kin had chosen to make her dazzling appearance by taking down her only source of help, it was more or less safe to assume that her presence had been overlooked. Well, where Kin had truly overlooked her or not was none of her concern, it didn't really matter since she'd already accomplished her task and had arrived next to Kidomaru. He looked like a defeated dog, beaten to the point where it was unknown whether he was dead or alive, but Sagisō knew no sympathy and she aimed to seal every chakra point on his body regardless of his life or death. She still, however, held a hint of caution in her actions, in case he had any plans of resurrecting from the dead. If he so much as twitched, her hand might just slip and poke something far more lethal than a chakra point.

As Tayuya badmouthed him, the behemoth of a summon twitched, marching onward toward him. The pied piper and her subject both radiated with killing intent. Kai’s plan WAS to use the organic freeze justu one last time, but the chakra eel stopped him before he could get that off the ground. He quickly analyzed his situation, noticing his drawn senbon and the high trees. Then...something hit him. Yes, yes that could work.

“I called you Xeno because you are of filthy, impure blood. Your words are foul enough to speak for themselves. A true ninja is about action.”

While he had no hope to outrun the Doki, perhaps he could confuse it’s caller. He forced his body off of the branch, using his senbon to dig into the tree, letting him slide down the bark and into the thick brush below. The remaining Doki didn’t seem to be able to think for itself, so he was banking on confusing tayuya’s sight of him. A invisible target is a impossible target, hunter nin handbook NO.16.

His arms and legs were cut landing in the brush as he rolled down the hill. Dirt marks adorned his skin as he fell, the large amount of foliage in the forest working to his advantage. The Xeno had him in the ropes, he hated to admit it. No foe had ever managed to make him retreat.

“Then it is an even fight!” Reaver barked at Azumi. “Don’t tell me you doubt you can take them on? You won the chunnin exams, take pride in that by slaughtering them for trophies to take back home!”

Reaver hadnt been able understand why azumi didn’t share his affinity for trophies. She wanted to bring glory back to the rain, sure, wouldn’t bringing back trophies be a sign of the rain’s power? She was so confusing.

........

“Pinky, healing that up so fast? Tch, she couldn’t heal up Kou’s bruise all the way, it’s still showing!”

Now either billboard forehead was holding back healing Kou, or this is a set up! Hmph! I would ask Kiro to check his chakra to see if it was creating some kind of genjustu or transformation, but I bet I can find out on my own.

Zaku crosses his arms, his brow arching as he looked over ‘Yasu’s’ figure. He couldn’t see any more things wrong with the fool proof disguise. He wasn’t even 100% sure it wasn’t him, but he’d have to check.

“Tell me, what did you promise me, way back in the prelims that you would do? That you vowed on your life to accomplish?”

Kou massaged the bump after it was mentioned. He had almost forgotten Dosu had done that to him. Sakura was very nice to heal that up for him, and Tomiko even more so. So why were they at odds? Boss and Sakura? He couldn’t be sure, but it wasn’t like it was going to develop to be a war or anything...right?

............

The two kunai Takato has tossed into the bubble hit, but slowly coming to a stop halfway through. Then just in, the acid burned away at the kunai, leaving them but grey specs of liquid inside the bubble. Kin laughed like a hyena when she saw this.

“Hahaha! The bubble is made of pure acid and chakra! You can’t think you can just pop it with a pointy stick can you?”

The noise began to increase by the ripples the kunai made by hitting the bubble, seeming to increase the sound rather than end it. While she was focused on this, she felt her body freeze. While she was surprised by this she only grinned wider.

“Hehe! Fool! What are you gonna do now that you have me? The melody of death will carry on even when I’m paralyzed! Good luck with not falling unconscious!”

The sound increased it’a yield, shreikinga cross the surrounding area like the wail or a banshee. It was hellish, scratchy, and high pitched. It felt as if a deacon of demons were giving a sermon.

.........

Kidomaru heard the sound of distant shrieking, no doubt kin’s doing. There was something else though, shuffling in the thicket. It was getting closer. He peers through the tiniest slit of his eye, seeing a familiar dressed individual coming up. She is persistent isn’t she? Ngh...what did that tailed brat due to me? She’s supposed to be a bishop of Orochimaru, not my executioner!

“And just what’s are you going to do?” Kidomaru said simply looking into the sky, his eyes now open. “Sure you can kill me, but then I’d yell, kin knowing exactly where you’d be. You could take me prisoner, not likely. Your barley getting around just yourself without any chakra, and the odds of you running into another member of my team is extremely high, or even another sound ninja at all. If I were you, the best bet would the to wait right here patiently till this is rampage is all over.”

.........

Sakon hadn’t felt the touch of shiho’s spine, but rather the feeling of his legs coming out from beneath him. His justu canceled as he fell to the ground, rolling with it for a safe landing. Right as an attack was used behind his neck, the strongest thing happened, a hair of boots came from behind it, legs attached. Sakon’s chakra points were so unique and scrambled that they would be hard to hit as it was, let alone with it constantly moving and countering.

The kick would meet the fingers and would try to break them, ukon guiding them as he was a head behind sakon’s. With both of him there, they had no blind spots.

Sagisō

With a low hissing whisper, frost chilling her voice, Sagisō retorted, "Is that so? And your random yell is supposed to get her to figure out an enemy is at your location? Sorry, but she doesn't look like the smart or caution type, and her first assumption certainly wouldn't be that guy I just stabbed is trying to alert me of an enemy. You'll be able to get out, maybe a word or two before my fingers find their way into your throat, so choose them carefully, I don't think that rampaging thing would get your message otherwise. As for running into another sound ninja? Pfft, they're all dead by now. Sorry, but your best bet isn't mine."

Unkown to Kidomaru at the beginning of the battle Shura had released the smoke signal drawing all the leaf shinobi here. This section of the forest was most dangerous not for their little group, but for the Sound 4. Even if they managed to escape with their lives intact they'd swiftly encounter another team that had been drawn here. To a certain extent, her best bet was to wait right here, in a few more moments this place would be assaulted by the other members of the Noble clans and the Sound 4 would be meat on the chopping board, merely waiting for their demise.

The foot connected with Shura's fingers. "Crap." He thought before flicking his fingers and pushing himself away from Sakon and Ukon and saved his fingers from breaking. When he landed back, Shura felt his strength drain from him and fell back. "Darn it, my last ditch effort resulted in failure. I'm are outmatched the way I am now." He thought. "Shiho!" Shura shouted before Shiho jumped out from the treelines. "We will be leaving for real now." She said before dropping a flashbang then putting Shura on her back and running away.

Raiku suddenly appeared behind Jirobo despite seemingly dying to a boulder and stabbed him with sword from behind. He dug the sword deep into Jirobo and let out a lot of Fire natured chakra to burn his insides out inside of all of that fat.

"You don't get to try and kill my friend, and get away with it," he said with his Sharingan giving a cold glare at Jirobo from behind. Meanwhile there was also multiple flame covered shuriken shot at Jirobo.

“Like we will fall for that again!”

Sakon yelled as he saw shiho come back, holding the third flash bang to be used. As it was thrown down, Sakon grabbed it before it could go off, learning from his past mistakes. Upon doing so, he crunched it in his grasp, seeing the kunoichi weighed down by the weight of her brother, no doubt restraining many of her justu capabilities as well. Ukon groaned as Sakon was carrying on the fight. Ukon could care less, as he was already expended if his energy, unlike Sakon.

Sakon was going to finish it while he could. He lunged forward, three legs striding up with every step instead of just one at a time. He was catching up to her with double her velocity, especially since she was weighed down. Sakon grinned as victory came ever closer.

“Multiple kicks cyclone!”

Instead of punches, Sakon leaped from the ground and came into a drop kick. He whirled like a drill through all the punches, his speed being more than both of his foes. She had no eyes on the back of her head and her partner was all but incapacitated. Sakon had won.

.........

Jirobo felt a familiar feeling in his gut. He looked down and found a second hole, a sword sticking through it. Raiku had done this before, and Jirobo knew just how to counter it. He planned on breaking the sword in two and using the flames to cauterize his wound again, but there was a catch. Flaming shuriken interrupted this process and splintered him along his back and sides.

“Ngah!”

He rolled on the ground, the sword yanked from Raiku’s hand. He twtitched, crouched I’m the floor, trying to stop his multiple wounds bleeding. His physical strength had begun to deteriorate through all the wounds he was receiving, and two stabs to the gut weren’t making the situation any better. He stared up at the new arrival, standing boldly between him and Taiyo

“So...you aren’t dead?!?”

"I don't have to answer your questions."

He sent out 3 kunais with bomb tags and body flickered to a nearby tree keeping a close watch on Jirobo while another volley of flame covered shuriken were shot at Jirobo and ignited the bomb tags as well. Meanwhile "Raiku" appeared behind Taiyo and body flickered to a separate location further away.

"Don't worry, I'll get rid of this guy for you."

Taiyo
When Taiyo saw Raiku stab Jirobo in the back with his sword, he wanted to cry tears of happiness, his closest friend who saved his life twice, was alive and well, and even better, they would be able to go home and tell the story.
"Okay Raiku, what can I do to help you out, you saved me twice, it's the least I can do,"
Buddy, I'm sorry I couldn't avenge you, but I'm just happy you're alive.
Seiun
At this point, Seiun has lost count at how long he was trying to hopelessly melt the ice prison. And as much as the Chunin hated to admit it, he was just wasting chakra, the ice just simply didn t melt like normal ice.
Well I thought it would come to this, but i'm stuck. If I tried explosive tags, I'd just end up killing myself, trying to stab them is pointless, since my movement is limited in this small dome, so unless I can magically disappear I'm not going anywhere...

As Jirobo anazed his current situation, the darts hit him, and the bomb tags exploded, igniting his body. He screamed as his flesh melted from bone. The flames lit him up like it were already his funeral as his last few seconds were him clawing toward Taiyo, dying a few inches from him

Kidomaru twitched at Sagiso’s response. He wasn’t quite the one with the superior hand as he thought. He layed his head back down as blood began to be visible coming out of his back, even as he was lying on it. He then stifled a laugh.

“Your friends? Beat my team? Ha! How funny...and whatever your planning, kin will take them out. I guarantee it.”

Sagisō

"Oh."

Indifferent to Kidomaru's words, Sagisō got to work restraining him. She would seal all his chakra points to start with, but besides that, she also planned to deal some minor injury to many of his internal organs; particularly his lungs and heart, which would be vital if he planned to get anywhere far with an escape attempt. For extra security, she would search his body for anything dangerous and then dislocate many of his joints. As far as Sagisō was concerned, lugging around a cripple would be better than leaving her back open to an even slightly capable enemy.

Hinagiku

Tsunade Senju..?

That name would've certainly raised a few brows around the room, Hinagiku's included. While she didn't doubt the capabilities of the legendary medical ninja, she did doubt the appropriateness. How many years had it been since the Senju princess had stepped foot in the village? To bestow upon her the most prestigious position in the village so abruptly...

Although more than just a bit concerned, Hinagiku remained silent, instead, she paid attention to the reactions of the others within the room.

Having her Byakugan active, Shiho noticed Sakon chasing after her. She spun around and faced her attacker. She already had a jutsu prepared. "Bro thought this would happen, so he was prepared. Mist Stream." Shiho said before releasing a stream of mist towards Sakon. The mist would still block Sakon's vision even if it was blown away by his cyclone kick since it was in front of him. Shiho would then put her arms in front of her towards the ground. "Vacuum Palm." She said as she pushed herself back and out of the range of Sakon's attack. While Shiho was doing all this, Shura had a kunai with an explosive tag attached to it which he would toss towards the location Sakon would be.

"Damn... if only we had a water style user... Guess I have to go in..."

Raiku jumped towards the engulfed Jirobo as well as a clone hidden in the trees and put some dirt on Jirobo, to get rid of the fire a bit. He took out a scroll and began sealing Jirobo's body into it, which luckily didn't burn to the flames. His body wouldn't be burning in the scroll, or at the very least the process would be stopped.

Not about to leave here empty handed...

The clone that helped him turned into crows that flew away and Raiku took notice of Taiyo. He jumped towards him and the clone that was nearby turned into crows as well.

"Thank kami I learned a good amount of Crow jutsus while learning about summons... well anyways Taiyo, I think we should head back to the village, you lead the way," Raiku said with a thumbs up.

Taiyo
The Leaf genin was overwhelmed with happiness, he honestly had no idea how that would make him behave, but for now, Taiyo returned the thumbs up and decided to walk back to the village, both living to fight and serve the leaf another day.
"Wonder how the guys back at home will react when they learn that we defeated a member of the Sound Four," Taiyo invisioned the crowds of people asking how they did it and begging him to teach them FBS.
Moreover, I wonder how many girls it'll score me... Eh it doesn't matter, I'm just happy we survived.

"I did the best I could given the circumstances. A tunnel is not the ideal place to work in, especially one that nearly caved in on us." Sakura pointed out to Zaku as she tried to cover for "Yasu" but unfortunately it appeared Zaku was looking to add on to his suspicions as he asked about some promise that Yasu had apparently made to Zaku.

Internally, Kenji cursed. How was he supposed to know that? In hindsight he should have probably asked Yasu this kind of information before he jumped out there in the disguise but now had long been past the point where he could take that back. All Kenji knew about Yasu was that he had a strong dislike of Zaku for...whatever reason. So he had to guess the promise was tied into that in some fashion. Not like Kenji had much choice anyway, if he said nothing Zaku would only have reason to suspect him being an impostor and the jig would be up. So "Yasu" needed to say something, anything, and hope he'd be able to make the correct educated guess.

"I promised I'd defeat you, and get payback for the exams." "Yasu" said, as he had seen the battle between the real Yasu and Zaku and took a shot the promise was some revenge to get stronger to defeat him. Sakura however prepared for the worst case scenario as she made a subtle signal so that Kiro & Zaku would not be able to see it but Tomiko, Yasu & Mori would along with Furijia who should have been observing from a distance. Sakura's signal would let them know to be prepared for battle as she feared that it was growing to be an ever more inevitable reality...

Tomiko herself saw this as she took a deep breath. Trying to settle her wild emotions as she needed to be prepared if a fight were to break out. Trying having been the operative word as Tomiko's mixed feelings that concerned what Kiro had said still lingered as she shook her head to try and drown out those thoughts as she re tightened her gauntlets.

---------
"There's a difference between taking pride in your own capabilities and jumping into a deliberate unfavorable situation just for the sake at a fight where you might get some trophies. In order to bring honor to Amegakure, I need to make it back to Amegakure in one piece. Same for you, and this battle could risk that if we jump in blindly." Azumi countered, as she was far more of a "fight smart" then a "fight hard" individual that defined who Reaver was.

Though regardless of her words, it appeared that Reaver had made up his mind. And if he were to jump in, then she'd have to join him cause in spite of Reaver's trophy obsession he was a talented ninja and losing him would have been a tremendous waste. So Azumi needed to plan how to go about this just in the event that Reaver would disregard her warning and insist on taking part in the battle that seemed inevitable but had actually yet to come.

I called you Xeno because you are of filthy, impure blood. Your words are foul enough to speak for themselves. A true ninja is about action.

Quit struggling brat! A filthy street rat like you can only serve as a sacrifice for the better of the village. Not quite cursing and move!

Tayuya grit her teeth as Kai's relentless shit talking struck a nerve with the girl, but she buried those bitter memories as the current frustration of Kai's escape as the Doki smashed the branch clean in two as Kai seemed to slide down into the think brush below which only frustrated her all the more.

"It's pointless little man, you can try and hide from me but you will not escape! And I know just the way to sniff out that piss between your legs!" Tayuya spat as she brought her flute to her lips and began to play a new tune as the Doki dropped down. Once more, its mouth opened and released that chakra worm once more as Tayuya sent it through the brush as she aimed to use its ability to "taste" chakra of others in the air to try and find Kai to force him out.

The one problem with this was, due to Kai's low chakra, there was not much of a sent for the blind worm to track which made the prospect of finding Kai that much harder. But given Tayuya's own injuries meant she could not scan the area efficiently and her Doki had been blind this served as her best method at this point as the chakra worm moved through the bush as its multiple jaws bit at the air as they tried to lock in and find Kai with the intent to drain any possible chakra left till he was a dried up husk of a corpse.

Takato had managed to lock into Kin's shadow, but any satisfaction that he may have felt about it was drowned out by the intense pain he felt as the bell had not stopped ringing that caused ever more gradual pain and discomfort to his eardrums.

D-damn this...it hurts! Hurts so much but...but I can't stop now, I need to give Sagiso time. I won't let all this end up being for nothing!

"I-I may fall unconscious, but you won't get the satisfaction to see it." Takato spat back as he grit his teeth. In spite of all the pain he felt, he tried his best to tough it out as he slowly moved his hand up so that it hovered over his neck. His aim was to use the shadow possession to move Kin's matching hand so it'd mirror his action...only with her sharp claws in place of Takato's normal nails the outcome if he managed to press it against the neck would be far, far different.

Which is exactly what he banked on. Realistically against someone like Kin after what he'd been through he likely had a five-percent chance of actual survival. Probably less for an actual victory, but if there was any chance at all this was it and he had to seize it.

The clan heads all had private discussions with each other as mummers spread across the room at the appointment of Jiraiya's rather "radical" choice for temporary Hokage. Nobody really doubted Tsunade's skill that seemed beneficial to the job but much like Hinagiku the doubt seemed to cast on the idea of giving someone who had left the village years ago the most important title. Something that had not escaped Danzo's notice.

"I recognize that you have a certain...bias, in miss Tsunade's favor but let's try and be objective about this. The fact is the Senju Clan's heir has avoided Konoha for several years now and giving someone like that the most honored and powerful position among the village seems like quite the leap. What qualifications does a deserter have to take the title?" Danzo asked, as he seemed a bit more on the bitter side about Tsunade's abrupt departure. The way Danzo saw it, she was overemotional and unable to handle loss the way a true ninja should. Jiraiya faced Danzo, as he had not been naive enough to assume his suggestion would be met with unanimous approval. So Jiraiya kept his thoughts about the tone Danzo used to describe Tsunade as he gave the Root leader a response.

"While she may have done that, the will of fire has not been snuffed out. I'm certain with the years that have passed I can convince Tsunade to lend Konoha a hand in this time of need. This is a temporary measure so the important thing to remember is we need someone strong who can quickly organize the village after the tragedies that have befallen it. Tsunade is the entire reason why modern teams have a medical nin assigned to them and that alone has saved countless lives. A display of her leadership capabilities and ability to organize individuals. As her medical prowess and overall skill already speak for themselves. Not to mention, Minato's condition is quite serious and if we want to prevent a critical loss Tsunade's talents could be the difference between his recovery or passing." Jiraiay said, a bit of a sullen tone on the implication of what he had said there as the clan heads and even Danzo gave him a moment of silence before Jiraiya turned to address all of them.

"As said, it is not as if we are replacing Minato. This gives us the best chance to aid our Kage but also provide some stability to the village in the meantime. Besides, we lost a fair number of medical nin during that invasion. Bringing Tsunade back would ensure that we can get new trainees the ideal instructor to learn from and provide Konoha with a much needed healer at a time when we are badly in need of one. Given Tsunade's talent in that field combined with her natural leadership in implementing such a vital component of modern ninja teams it seems she is far more fitting for office than just about anyone in this room." Jiraiya said as he added on to the importance of having Tsunade into the village and pointing out how having her take the temporary mantle at once made sense. Right now Konoha's medical division suffered the most losses and they needed a new leader to come in and reorganize everything. Who better to lead the charge with that and the overall village restoration than the greatest medical nin in the world?

"So, even if we all unanimously agree with your motion. What's your plan then? Tsunade hasn't exactly made herself easy to find in these years away from the village. Even the best trackers need a lead to go by and I'm sure lady Hisao can attest to that." Inoichi said as the Yamanaka head spoke up which caused Jiraiya to turn to him. That sly grin ever present as it seemed the Sannin had expected that question and was prepared for it.

"Well, contrary to rumor, I have not spend my periods away from the village just conducting research for my literature. I've been keeping tabs on anything that might be to Konoha's interest. Given my history with Tsunade and her legacy here, I've kept my tabs on her and if nothing else know where to start looking." Jiraiya clarified as he then watched as the clan heads talked among themselves while Danzo remained silent as the Toad Sage glanced over to Hinagiku as he decided to inquire about her view on the matter.

"Thoughts?" Jiraiya asked, willing to give the Hyuga head her piece to speak.

As soon as Mori saw the signal to be ready for a fight, he unsheathed his tanto and his troubled eyes seemed to become like glass; cold and emotionless yet clear enough to see everything happening in front of him. The change from disturbed child to fighting machine was drastic to say the least. No sign of the person Mori was visible, all that was left was the Mori that was trained to become a fighting machine until he died. The only thing that restrained him was the fact that the attack signal was not given.

Furījia

A gleam of queasiness flashing through her eyes, the Hyūga heiress took action, dropping from her perch on the branches she took off like a bounding leopard- in the completely opposite direction. Taking even more distance from the location of the fight, she disappeared between the forest undergrowth, circling around to flank Kiro and Zaku's position. Every so often she would flick a set of kunai, pinning them to the surrounding trees with dull thuds. Each Kunai was coated with a thin metal wire, swiftly turning the forest into a net of trip and trap wires. She worked her way around on a tangent, aiming to draw a triangular net of wires to encase their foes.

Raiku had a smile beneath his mask and followed Taiyo.

"By the way if you're wondering how I survived.. one of my clones saved you while I body flickered away from the attack. I was gonna help you sooner but before I could act you either started fighting him or started retreating through the trees," he told him.

Then he began thinking...

What if that wasn't a clone? What if I couldn't save him... we'd both be dead and it's all my fault... I would've let my friend down... my friend... my teammate... wait. TEAMMATE!

Raiku suddenly stopped walking and had a face of worry on him.

"We forgot Shiho... I'm gonna go back for her, you head to the village and if you find any allies along the way tell them to head where I'm going," he said.

Raiku turned around and began jumping through trees, looking for any possible sign of Shiho...

Kai was rolling down the hill, making good progress getting away from the area...or so he thought. A Doki, landed nearby, and a chakra eel soon followed. Kai inaudibley gasped, taking it a senbon and slamming it into the dirt. He slid across the dirt before almost touching the eel. The eel snaked by as Kai sweated. These things are making it hard to escape. If only I were to draw them away it would be possible...

Kai then took out a ball from his bag. It was made of ice and seemed blueish and foggy. This was an ice ball, which he had created right before he engaged the sound four. It was loaded with his own chakra, which held it together. If the snakes sensed chakra, which they have already attacked him twice, then the ice ball would make a decent distraction. He rolled the ball the opposite way he was, brushing across some brush as well to be visual for tayuya. He then continued his fall as the chakra ball distracted attention, chakra and visual wise. He had a plan.

Sakon’s cyclone took the explosive kunai and sent it to the air in their cyclone, before the kunai exploded safely above. Sakon didn’t stop his cyclone spin. Before he could connect, shiho landed away from him using a vacuum palm. Sakon stopped, getting out of his attack. He whipped his hair and pointed at shiho.

“Expending a lot of chakra for a simple dodge! There’s a gap between you and your brother!” Sakon teased. “You must know you can’t outrun me. With superior muscles and you weighed down by your brother. Your trapped!”

Catching up to her again, he bounded, conserving chakra by simply using his bloodline ability. He easily caught up again. He grabbed some shuriken from his bag and tossed it toward her legs and one at shura’s Head. While he did that, he jumped up and attempted a wide side kick, his leg splitting into three. With her restricted movement and weighed down nature, she had limited options.

Kin’s claw approached her neck. The more the noise took a toll on Takato, the easier it began to resist however. Takato was strong willed, as even after a fight with Kidomaru and multiple shadow possessions, he was holding strong. It was a stalemate. Both weren’t moving, however the sound kept pumping, constantly. The more it produced the easier it would be taken advantage of, weakening Takato as a whole.

“Hehehe....” kin’s sweating look watching her claw come toward her turned into a malevolent joy as it froze. “Hahahaha! You don’t have the strength to finish me off do you? The sound of death is calling you! Why don’t you answer it?!@

As she spoke, a acidic salaiva dropped from her lips. The saliva slowly dropped into the shadow. It didn’t burn it away, at least not yet. It ever so slowly began burning the connection, although it was still firmly attached. It would only be a matter of time.

Zaku smirked looking at ‘Yasu’, a slow laugh began to come from him. This solidified his thought. He opened his hands pointing it at him, revealing his implants. Zaku heard the sound of chords or wiring in the distance with his superior sense of hearing. This further solidified his belief.

“Heh, your pretty convincing. But that’s not what you said.” Zaku locked eyes with the imposter. “The real Yasu promised to get revenge for Tomiko, and defend her honor or whatever. He’s a love struck fool, not some vengeful fool!”

He shot out the feather that was lodged in his implant, sending it back at it’s user, powered by concusive airwaves. The poisonous projectile was aimed directly at his head. Returning it back to sender.

Before Sagiso could take out any ofbuis chakra points, she touched a rough substance. It seemed to blend in with his skin before surfacing as a different color. It further solidified and covered around his body. His pores on his body produced the heavy plates of dense spider silk. It had Completely protected him from the touch of Sagiso. His defense had begun to seal up his body.

“Ha! You think because I’m physically weak that means I’m out of chakra?” Kidomaru stifled a laugh, spitting up some blood on the interior of his muffled mask. “Your not going to take me in. Not with your state. Trying to bypass my armor and anything else I might be doing will stall long enough for my allies to come and assasinate you! After all, all kin needs to do I look behind her. Are you willing to risk laying around here with me?”

Sagisō

"You're right, I'm not willing to risk it..."Making a mildly surprised expression, Sagisō assented to the fact that she had indeed overlooked his present chakra and whatever tricks he would've been able to pull with it. Although surprised, it was only mildly, and she was in no way stumped. Indifferently, she continued, "But, in that case, you can just die." She proceeded to withdraw a few wire strings laced with paper bombs, and then tied them tightly around Kidomaru.

Since he refused to be of use to her alive, then she'd make use of him in death. His previous cocoon of silk had not been covered in a cocoon of paper bombs, many of them fake, but enough real paper bombs were within the bunch to give Kidomaru a spectacular send off to the underworld. All she needed to do now was throw the silky cocoon towards that rampaging she-beast who was currently trapped by Takato, two birds with one bomb. What could possibly be better?

Kidomaru wasn’t just going to let some girl push him around. He growled, his six arms, covered in the hardened substance came around Sagiso and attempted to grab hold of her. Since she was weakened physically and chakra wise he planned to take her off guard. The spider ninja was to take her by surprise and keep her at bay.

“You wouldn’t detonate them on top of you, would you?” Kidomaru said, weaving another plan in his head. “Your a strategist like me, so you know any weapon can be used against it’s attacker. Don’t even try.”

The dense material was powerful, but he couldn’t 100% be certain it would protect him from an explosion, he couldn’t be sure. It protected him from punches and fire sure, but explosions? He never tried it. But he was gutsy enough to risk it, that is, if Sagiso decided to light the flame

Sagisō

A chillingly low laugh echoed from Sagisō's lips, and she rose slowly to her feet, bringing along Kidomaru, who had still latched onto her. She rose out of the smoke, revealing their figures. Step by step she paced her way over to the locked figure of the sound's Jinchuriki, all the while bearing the weight of her gung-ho captive. At a glance, she could tell that Takato's shadow possession would not hold much longer, and then, much like before the beserk Jinchuriki would lash out at anything in sight.

Kidomaru was right, there was no way she'd willingly kill herself together with him, but that animal jinchuriki of theirs would certainly kill her ally without a second thought. It was only a matter of time until Takato's shadow possession broke, and Kidomaru was either forced to let go of her to avoid Kin killing them both or would send himself to a swift grave while attempting to pull her along with him.
