Considering Kiro is knocked out now as well as Zaku having already left, my theory is that once Tayuya sees this, after delivering Kai too Kiro, she won’t have any reason too stay. Now this just leaves Kiro and when he wakes up, he’ll have too face Kai. Considering that there won’t be any other Sound Nin too complicate his version of events, Kiro can just lie his way out of this. If he just plays his words right, Kai should believe his lies and he’ll be able too go back with only some light questioning about the curse mark to deal with. The reactions that the other characters who actually know Kiro is aligned with Orochimaru will be interesting but who will actually believe the words of Xenos?...100% the pure mist soldier he made his mission to get. Well, I thought we were gonna do the Tayuya/Sound 4 member captured thing but I guess with who we have there it wouldn't be possible.

Well actually you could have her help fight reaver and it could lead to that capture thing, as well as shuffle down and possibly defeat reaver
Except, like Retro said, Tayuya would have no reason to stick around. Her only argument she'd have is the curse mark Kiro has and she is not gonna stick around to fight random Ame-nin in her condition. She'd save her own skin first.

True, but if reaver defeats everyone, who’d to say he won’t go after Orochimaru’s convoy? It’s a big risk she has, and a machine of death isn’t the best thing to have on your convoy’s 6’ 0 clock lol
That's assuming he does win. We have no idea how this battle ends up playing out.
I guess that could force Kiro’s hand. Technically he can kill two birds with one stone. First, he can buy time for Zaku to escape with the convoy and second he can revenge on Reaver for what happened in the cave. It’s a win-win scenario cuz even if Kai witnesses it, Kiro is fighting against a common enemy rather than the rescue team.
Well, I kinda wanted Kiro to stay unconscious for my next post. Have an idea with Azumi in mind.

Wanted to show Azumi had a clear agenda of her own despite being "allies" with Orochimaru. And show her bitter feelings toward the man in comparison to Zaku's blind loyalty.

He clearly doesn't think much of Kiro, given the Azumi battle.
Orochimaru is gonna be PISSED if he wakes up to discover he's in a new body not Kiro and Kiro is back with the mist under Kabuto's watch XD

It’s kinda Kiro’s fault as well for underestimating his opponents, especially Mori. I’ll give credit where credit is due, Mori played his cards right. Head to head, it would’ve been a piece of cake for Kiro but Mori just caught him off guard.
Now that I think about it, I wonder what Mori’s reaction will be too Azumi coming in too finish his victory. She’s about too get that kill steal lel

On a side note, am I the only one with characters that basically need to occupy themselves? We've got Takato & Sagiso resting while Shura and Shiho do...something, I kinda lost track of them. On the other hand Furijia is gonna...keep stalking the group, from an even further distance this time with her byakugan activated so she doesn't abruptly get discovered.

Lel it’s alright Jacob. It’s just that Tayuya deciding to intervene changes a few variables which may or may not work well for Kiro. However, I’m gonna wait to see how things actually turn out before I have Kiro fully wake up.

Somewhat I suppose, and that’s in raiku’s possession. What he intends to do with it I don’t know. Also, the box is still a thing.
*shrugs* None of my characters have a reason to go for it. Furijia doesn't know where it is, and Sagiso is aware that it's not Kiro (Shura shouted it out earlier on and based on that Sagiso attempted to leave the fight, but that didn't go too well) and she's not in fighting condition, though she'll still make a decent support with Shuriken fire.
tbh, Furijia's already pinned Kai as a possible traitor, and since the vast majority of people in that fight don't wear leaf hand bands, she has no reason to assume they're allies. She might actually start rejoicing that her enemies are killing each other.
Guess...I'll go save some people though, leave I'll have something to do.
