Shen: King of Digimon

Previously Shen: King of the Mist
Considering the fact that Kiro picked up on a Kage signature technique (Lightning Armor) in the two weeks between the Prelims and Finals, it is just a case of Kiro being a prodigy. And even then, pretty sure every major OC could at least make him use his Sharingan in a fight if nothing else.

And as we'll see when we get back to Iwa, training is Tomiko's main thing. Gonna pick up a new skill to try and raise Tomiko to that desired level of "being average" among out cast and not bottom tier garbage XD

Well Tomiko still beat both Kilika and Taiyo at once

Which makes zero sense now, given Taiyo actually injured Azumi in their battle with each other. And I chalk that up to forest skirmishes than full on battles, plus I'm sure she had Yasu helping her by that point.

Actually she beat both entirely alone, and outfoxed her enemies by going underground and attacking from underneath. In that scenario she just had more tactics than Azumi

I'll have to reread those battles cause I literally have zero memory of either encounter there. And I mean you count Tomiko vs. Snake as a tie despite it being a one punch skirmish so....

If nothing else, shows a steep decline she's had since the Forest. Maybe the steepest of any character who didn't die at some point.

Well she broke her arms between then...so

Losing to Kiro->Fair enough, he's a top tier (Along with all the dark/neutral characters...we promote very questionable stuff here XD)

Losing to Kiro who didn't use his Sharingan or try that much whatsoever->Yeah, more of a problem. It wasn't her being "unlucky", in our scaling she just really sucks XD
Raiku spared no sharingan kiro when he could’ve easily killed him therefore Raiku> Tomiko/Taiyo

Taiyo: Never said you'd get it immediately, that stuff takes time, you'll be homeless for a while. Of course there's the option of spraying mosquito repellent all over yourself, and even then, a shinobi or kunoichi should be able to handle a little bug.
Any Fire style jutsu will do, and I guess Taiyo can move in with one of his many wives when homeless

lol no the thing is raiku's main jutsu is too op that it has to be mega nerfed for the show. and by mega nerfed i mean only usable like twice. oh and there's a bunch of other stuff he's yet to use

Let's go, Raiku vs Sagisō, lemme see this main jutsu.

Also, I'm surprised ya'll just casually murdered a Mangekyo Sharingan user, and I thought the point of this was to avoid war? Murdering a Clan head? and you still want to leave safely? The fack do you take Konoha for? fodder? Well, right off the bat I'm gonna assume he's not dead, but either way Konoha and the Mist are enemies from henceforth. Or, at the very least, the Hyūga clan shall no longer be tolerating this type of treatment.

On a side note I'd suggest these two pages which are a mix of fact and theory, that would be quite useful.

Lel Kiro’s gonna be that one character where everytime he’s about to show his true power, something random happens.

Eh, some of this is a stretch.

True, we never saw Jiraiya go all out in a fight in Part 1...we did see him do it in Part 2, and the War Arc battles are still just as jarring by comparison to what we saw him do.

We saw what the 1st through 7th Gates can do, and we heard from Kakashi that using all 8 should make you above the Kage. Then Guy uses the 8th Gate and is able to fight God Madara. That is too high of a jump I am sorry even as a Guy fan.

The War Arc is still jarring no matter how people try to justify it.

I wasn't even at home most of today xD

I just tried to rush a quick reading of everything on my phone, which was basically a speed-skim.
It’s alright. That’s kind of the reaction I was hoping for the characters to have. Kiro literally just assaulted a clan head so I think it’s safe to say he might actually be arrested.

Okay,

1) The article specifically is titled 'the early limits of Shinobi' so it speaks on with regards to part 1

2) It is in no way a justification for the war arc; it does the opposite

it created a misconception of the heights a shinobi could reach which could be jarring when we see the battles in Part 2. And this was taken to extremes in the Fourth Great Shinobi War where our understanding of how powerful a shinobi could become is completely overwritten. Repeatedly.

It sounds to me like you didn't read the article but rather skimmed it :T

That, or a simple misunderstanding.

The shield called status is rather complicated, and assaults on people protected by it are tricky. For example, the only reason Kai can be so carefree is because he's got the status of Heir, and while personally, the Hyūga could care less about aggravating the Yuki, killing Kai would force the Mist village to take action by virtue of reaction.

If it's shown that, without good reason, the village is so unwilling to act in the interest of a clan regarding the deaths of its members, then the village's actions, or lack thereof, would be proof to other clans that should the same happen to them, the village will react similarly.

Essentially, the status of 'aristocracy' granted by clans ties them together against outside forces so they'll likely apply pressure to the village itself should it really disappoint them. The village would act primarily as a way to reassure it's other clans and keep them loyal.
