Gurren is Otogakure no? Seems odd she'd appear in Iwagakure. I kinda was considering Kurotsuchi as a sensei TBH but I am still open to things.

Like I said, I still am considering the details of it. I may or may not use Gurren, TBH an AU Gurren for Iwa is really what the nation needs as Konoha tends to hog all the Kakashi-tier+ ninja making the other nations feel weaker by a country mile. So this could help with that in Iwa's case.

In Canon 6 of the Mist's ninja blades defected and in AU they managed to luck out only losing the wielders and not the blades.

To be critical, unless your name is Konoha your most elite force of ninja are dead or defected.

Difference is Konoha still has multiple big names worth a damn (Jiraiya, Kakashi, Guy etc.)

The other nations get shit, making me believe Konoha could legit solo every other nation in a war and making the rest of the world look weak as shit.

Now the mist has been buffed with the Yuki Clan, less damage from the war, and several swords still in their possession.

As far as the other ones, we really haven’t delved deeper into them to say, although the rain has Azumi and reaver, which are powerhouses

I'd like Gurren to be in Iwa, to give them something. And may expand on the explosion core or something. Maybe the lesson they took from The Third War was the need to make their individual ninja stronger since Minato basically soloed them himself (Further proof in canon the nations suck)

Given how poorly he did against Gaara when reanimated, I'm not convinced he wasn't a weakling. Gaara was not that much stronger compared to his fight with Kimimaro since he doesn't do training.

To add onto how sad canon Suna is, their best ninja (Barring Chiyo) couldn't kill a young untrained Gaara when his father ordered for his assassination. A Genin Rock Lee did more to Gaara then their best ninja could. That is just disgraceful.

Baki sucks dude, he only ever defeated that guy with a cough. Who wasn't anything to write home about and was useless at literally everything else. And like I said Rasa isn't really much to write home about among Kage either.

Vast army=fodder. Iwa had a vast army and was struggling to defeat Minato, one man. ANBU fodder have already been killed by Genin in this story, they count for nothing XD

No, because that would just be anti-climactic and disappointing for all parties involved. The Yuki are good, but they aren’t the entire village. I would never do that.

The reality of the situation is the Kohona is incredibly OP compared to other nations. The others are practically on par with one another aside Suna (who was struggling to cling to power in canon). So it’s only Kohona who is unbalanced

Which is a problem for me. I never like it when the balance scales are tipped that far in favor of one side.

Which is why the other nations could use a buff, especially Suna. It's a shame I like their village but they suck so stupidly bad.
