I suppose you could work Tayuya into that, she has a basic brawler style but it is far from refined.

Nadeshiko?

It's in the Land of water, it's one of the many islands that exist onthe outskirts of teh Archipelago. Azumi would probably have a pretty hard time finding it tbh, she'd likely need to get tipped off in the Mist village first or through some other means.

See Taiyo low key suffers from Sagisophobia, you should know what that means. So he'll try to get a firm idea of whether or not to freak out before he even attempts to flirt.

Sagisō plans to be away from home for the foreseeable future, she would've told Azumi about her husband searching and hence why she wouldn't be in Nadeshiko.

My entire excuse to have Azumi go to Nadeshiko was on the false pretense that Sagiso would go back home before husband searching.

I can edit my post to have her go back to the Land of Fire, but then there is no excuse to have her go to Nadeshiko.

Oh, she can go looking for Baiyan. Sagisō would've told her about Nadeshiko's strongest and suggested her for Azumi's team, assuming that Azumi told her about her goals.

If Azumi can convince Baiyan, she'll join, and the initiation duel would make a good excuse to boot Reaver from the fight. Though, I wouldn't mind trying my hand at both of them at once.

I'm not gonna put that much effort into it, I feel like he'd actually help Baiyan win since he doesn't seem much of team player. Besides, I'm confident in her ability to escape them both using genjutsu and other means that I refuse to give away.

Defusing reaver’s trophy obsession/bloodlust would be difficult. Azumi barley had control of it during the sound four arc

Taiyo & Sakura did their big "never give up thing", I can knock them around but I want a satisfying conclusion to this.

Crush them brutally, the ninja world is not one where 'Never Give Up' will let you see to live the next day. Besides, Tsunade's initial personality is bitter and cynical, unless you've got someone to Talk-no-Jutsu her, she wouldn't turn around that quickly.

That being said she cares greatly about the ambitions of her little brother and former lover Dan, and with Taiyo being the closest we have to those types of characters, his drive would certainly resound with her. She would still accept their request, maybe just for the nostalgia of it all, to stir in her emotions if you will.

Perhaps despite retaining her cynical personality, she'd become slightly more light-hearted and would make a bet with Taiyo that would lead to a character arc for both of them later on.

I feel like Sakura shouldn't develop in the same way as her canon counterpart. It would defeat the purpose of her whole genjutsu specialist style.

I'd actually suggest you have her train under Shizune, and become a poison master. She would still be a top-tier medical ninja, but instead of the brawler she is in Canon, she'd be more tricky, using hallucinogens to enhance her genjutsu. As a plus, her genjutsu would now be effective on dojutsu wielder because it'll, in a sense, be attacking from within their bodies as well as outside.

Oh, and if you actually want to use that growth path for Sakura, I'd appreciate it if you decided within the week, I'd originally planned to have a Poison user be apart of Team Nadeshiko, which would be the three-man-cell composed of Baiyan, Sagisō and the unnamed poison master. If Sakura becomes a poison master as well I'll need to consider changing her occupation, though It really depends on whether I find a role more fitting for the odd team I'm putting together.

Hmm, the defining factor would be that Sakura uses non-lethal poisons as support for her genjutsu rather than to kill.

Oh, Team Nadeshiko is effectively disbanded, all its members are out husband searching, however, that was their 3-woman-cell when they went on missions from the village.

I was beginning to wonder about that nadeshiko but myself lol

None of them really match up to Hinagiku's combat style, well, minus Shisho who is close but lacks the nature transformations, but Hina is also a clan leader, she won't become a permanent sensei to lead missions and stuff since at her rank she mainly takes A or S ranked missions.
