Yep, but dont worry, youll have a second attempt by the time Shippuden arrives, oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, all my OCs are getting revamps for the shippuden Era, so thatll be two Seiuns, two Tsukis, and three/four Taiyos depending on if I ask you to make him in his sun lord variant.

If we had this my way we'd just tie up all the loose ends by killing them. Their only worth was information, and now that we already have that...the prisoners have no value. Unless we're gonna use them as chips against Orochimaru or something, but that's unlikely.

No, it just makes Kakashi look very incompetent. If a former Anbu can't stop a Chunin from running away from him then that's nothing off Hinagiku's back, if Kiro was with her team escape wouldn't even be a remote possibility.

This is a joke though right? That seal sounds like too much.
Like, it literally isn't hard to keep Kiro from escaping. Just have someone stationed to watch him in rotations, or have Kakashi's ninja dogs on standby.
What you need to do is create an above-board plan of action right in front of Kiro, and then have your real plan of action be something else entirely so as he tries to evade the first plan he walks right into the second.
On the surface, say they're in rotations to watch him. Then have the ninja dogs summoned and watching him without his knowledge. While he's trying to evade whoever's watching him, he'll alert the ninja dogs who will bark, thus alerting everyone else, and from there Kiro's hopes of escape are dashed.
Alternatively, Kakashi knows Sealing jutsu.
Alternatively, do what Kiba does and have your dog take a wazz all over Kiro, that way he won't be able to escape without the dogs smelling him.
Alternatively, have Furījia cripple his chakra points each and every night, might as well dislocate all his joints too, she'll be able to put them back later of course.

A natural motion sensor is basically putting something in the way, like a pile of stones or arranging the dirt in a certain pattern, so that when someone moves by and disturbs the system the person who set it up would notice the disturbance in the system. Ah, it's a trap both ways though, because even if the person thinks to rearrange the system back to its original state, that in and of itself means that they would've passed through since it's nigh-impossible for the system to have remained in its original state considering external factors like, wind, animal life, etc.

My only concern TBH was in the heat of battle moments. Like if Kakashi clashed with Guren or somebody and Kiro took that chance to flee for the hills. Can't really commit to stopping him by that point given Kakashi has to focus on not getting stabbed to death by crystals.

I mean Kiro may not even be thinking to escape. All this extra stuff when the guy might really be trying to help out. Better safe than sorry tho

I suppose that’s what kyuu’s dislocation or seal method was for.
Draw on his face with some marker and then say it's a sealing jutsu you can remotely detonate, or just actually tag him with several remote detonation paper bombs.
Or again the seal that can be remotely activated, or just like...give him to Hinagiku and dash all of Retro's hopes from early.

Lmfao? Maintain control? No such thing. He slips up once and Hinagiku's immediate response will be to order his death. She only needs to keep it up for a few moments to hinder him enough for Shura or Sagisō to kill him.
They only need his brain anyway, the Inoichi and the Investigation corpse can take care of the rest as long as his brain is intact. She'll make it very clear to both Kiro and Tayuya beforehand that the Hyūga's hospitality will turn into lethal hostility without a second thought.
Good thing we already decided he’s not going with Hinagiku. Kiro will be thanking the Sage of Six Paths everyday for this. Whether he’s good or not, he doesn’t want to risk messing up near her lel

I mean, Kakashi is not the most merciful guy ever either. He'd have no issue dropping Kiro if it meant he didn't escape to Orochimaru. No like Kiro is his student or anything.

He doesn't even need to mess up, he just needs to look like he's gonna mess up and she'd probably take him out (but not kill) as a precaution. Any actual transgressions are a quick death though.
Hmmm, nai nai, Mei is definitely more merciful than Hinagiku because Mei's character traits are being respectful and overall an open-minded and niceish person.
Hinagiku is grittier and more direct in that any people that declare their intent to threaten her family are immediately moving to the list of people to execute.
I mean, most characters in this story are pragmatic anyway. Not like we have many optimists here to act as a contrast, I think Mei would have no issues acting as Hinagiku would in this instance.
If that was the case, I would've started working to exterminate the Yuki clan a long time ago ~w~
I've been whittling away at their political power and raising Mei's own, but not much else.

Mei introduced her earlier, but Hyoryūgetsu jumped through the window because Shen decided to do the greatest taboo in the Mist and bring up Mei's marriage. You'll likely want to vacate the room as it's currently being melted by her lava release.
I'll flat out say Mei has beaten people black and blue for commenting on her marriage, and the same approach will probably apply in AU.
Eh, we'll see where I can get Mei to by that time.

More like a civil war, the Hyūga don't intend to battle for world domination. If I get the chance, and Konoha fucks up majorly, they'll cede and then I have a few clans I have an eye on that I can work into being the Hyūga's subordinate clans. They'll then retreat and probably found a Minor village, or more an association of clans.
