Kiro and Sagisō both lost their parents at an extremely young age. They’re both part of the most well known, legendary clans of the Leaf. They were also isolated from their clans at a young age and forced to live somewhere else for a good chunk of their life. They were different than everyone else around them since they were the only ones who had their respective dojutsu. Presumably, they both were forced to grow up in a more violent world. They both also came back to the Leaf, home of their clans, at the same time. Though Kiro is slacking right now, he’s a warrior for real. Sagisō, well we all know the type of woman she is. Sagisō will be a mercenary and Kiro, I’m leaning more towards bounty hunter instead of mercenary atm. Either way, in those lines of work, they’re also bound to meet up.

Unlike Sagisō, who was openly welcomed into her clan, Kiro hasn’t even stepped foot in his. Kiro held some grudge against the Uchiha before he went to the Leaf and Sagisō... well I don’t know what she thought of the Hyūga for all those years.

They should be able to relate to each other on some type of level. I mean, right off the bat they went into a deep conversation about their world views and Sagisō left a major impression on Kiro. No matter what, those words Sagisō stated will always remain in his head. I guess now I see that there’s probably something there, waiting to be opened. Probably some stuff I’m missing but I didn’t expect to go in as deep as I just did.

Sounds like a stronger connection than Azumi & Sagiso have.

Good analysis all the same, I think the dynamic would be interesting, it's just Kiro's kinda got to work his way to getting to talking points with people given he has burned so many bridges.

Yeah, that is definitely one Kiro’s biggest problems. I tried having him open up, his first attempt being with Raiku. It worked all right I guess. But now, no one wants to even be near him. Doesn’t help that now he feels he’s only being used as bait and was ignored when he respectfully asked a question to Hina. This boy actually raised his hand smh lel

Like if Hina actually answered his question or he was given even a shred of respect, Kiro would be completely open to helping the team out to prove his worth. Seriously, everyone’s characters have been impacting and still can impact his mindset. I’m not saying it’s easy but it’s possible.

Imagine instead of Kiro immediately deciding to betray Kakashi’s group and go with the Sound, he’s conflicted in doing so because of a talk he had with Taiyo, Raiku, and/or Furījia. Wouldn’t it be an interesting dynamic if he actually decides to stick with the Leaf? An important character development moment maybe?

I 100% agree with you here, but the problem is the reason nobody wants to talk to him is that he has stabbed every person who did show him any kindness or gratitude in the back. It isn't like he is being shunned for no good reason or anything. We've gotten little sense of his reasons for why he acts the way he does beyond some, from an outsider's view to this point, "petty" grudge against the Uchiha Clan.

I do think people should talk with him at some point, before the fighting breaks out but I am not sure if Sakura or Takato are right for the role. Takato doesn't know a single thing about Kiro other than the Hyuga kept them prisoner and Sakura had a grudge against Kiro. Sakura might talk with him when they settle for camp in the night, given he did kill Hashima who Sakura had been friends with. So there might be a door there.

Yeah, they do have a good reason to shun him. I’m not saying I want your characters to go talk to him cuz they don’t need to. They probably shouldn’t as well. Everything you said is right and perfectly explains why Kiro deserves what he’s getting. I’m just saying the opportunity is there for some change to possibly occur. If Kiro gets the opportunity to go with the Sound rn, then I wouldn’t mind him taking it.

Not sure if it will "change" him or anything, but now I do want Sakura to have a conversation with Kiro. Would give some meaning to Hashima's death and I think it would be a good exchange as Sakura looks for some closure there.

Yeah Taiyo can have a conversation with Kiro, since he barely remembers who he is.
Furījia: You imply that Taiyo succeeds?
Taiyo: Fair enough, but at least I don't get flustered.
Inner Taiyo: Listen up, if you wanna defeat Taiyo, just flirt back with him, or even do it first.
Taiyo: why you do that?
Inner Taiyo: Cause I wanna see this weakness exploited, and by someone better than Azumi, although she did a good job.

Yea I’ll pitch and help retro. You remind me of how everyone was making friends in the first arc and I missed out so I felt bad at the time, so I wouldn’t want someone else to feel that way

All the memes used were yours though xD

They do share quite a contrasting dynamic with regards to that, Kiro being shunned everywhere he goes as opposed to Sagiso who quite readily fits in.

She wasn't ignoring, I just straight up forgot to respond after seeing Tayuya respond. I'll still play off it though, she had said she'd explain on the way, so I'll probably fit that question in there.

Well, to be frank, Sagiso's not talking to him because he seems broody, like he doesn't want to talk. I was going to push an interaction between them during the first night they make camp.

Does this imply that the memes are pure Mist blood? If not, does that make Shen a xeno?
..............I AM CONFUSION
And there you shall wither and die, returning to dust and pixels.

Lemme see if I can squeeze in a post before my next class.
Well that escalated quickly XD. Except memes will never die

Given the fact that Guren's group is going by crystal dragon and Darui's by boat I figured that Pakura's group needs a way to gain distance given the length of area they have to travel compared to Kakashi & Hinagiku's short travel along with the Mist nin.

I was thinking an AU summon. Probably an eagle or vulture.

A vulture sounds the most fitting given they live in a desert and Pakura can use Wind release

Walking. It's just people like Iwa & Suna need a fast travel method given the far greater distance they have to travel and, in theory, we want the groups to all arrive at about the same time.
Lmfao Kakashi can walk. I wrote a method of travel into Hinas bio.

I actually expected the teams to split up, which is why i had her give Kakashi a map that pointed out a rendezvous point. Soo.. .yea
