Honestly, Zcraft hasn’t been nearly active enough in order to do anything, and Zino is all but dropped. Leaving the non-combative Rakū

It’ll be most of the day if not a full day before the closest village can get responders, let alone villages like the sand.

If this IS a trap to get us all then I think this ruins an arc that was supposed to be about multiple nations fighting each other for the jinchuriki

Yeah this. It felt more about Katsuo at that point then trying to bring down the nations.

Nothing wrong with Katsuo getting the attention though. He deserves it even if it’s from his favorite snake XD

I'm not as off-put by the trap. Hinagiku will be staying behind even if the other Konoha team chooses to retreat. Though, in that situation she will be sending her squad with team Kakashi.

Pretty much, yes. Not abduct Katsuo, but test his abilities if he was worthy enough for capture. Also to see if he had that valuable bloodline. Thank Zaku for telling Orochiamru all about him during the chunnin exams

It was just a half-joke on my part lmao. What I wanted were those books...but Shura betrayed me...
