I think the clones balance the chakra beforehand, so it's already balanced when Naruto gets it. Hence he just jumps straight into Sage Mode.
@kyuukestu yeah all of Shura's lines were supposed be in his thoughts, unless the Byakugan can really read minds the sagiso shouldn't' have heard it

Contrary to popular belief, the one ones without privacy are Kiro and Tayuya.
Just having a hard time-wording things. Also wondering if I should be dismissive of the feather so Madoka needs to put in a bit more effort, or just have Koki'o be clingy right away.
But in all seriousness no rush I understand. Take your time.

I would prefer to have the feather have some reaction, like maybe cause a momentary stir before she falls back into a deeper slumber. Then Madoka can try and shake her away and then she can pull her into a cling.

@5DigitNeb I cannot respond to the RP right now can you please stop having Raiku provoke Kai that is all Hama needs as fuel to this fire I'd rather avoid. I'd rather not start a repeat fight here and I still have interactions (Kenji) I'd like to get through before battles break out again ^^'

When I made his bio, he was 13 as that would be the most reasonable age for a genin. But depending on what month it was when he got made, he might be 14.

I’ve actually been enjoying the Raiku/Kai interaction. It’s especially good to see Raiku being his old self. Almost reminds me of their first interaction in the beginning of the RP.
Their conversation is just waiting for one of them to blow up or something
That’s why it’s so interesting though. It’s like a real time event almost. We really don’t know what’s gonna happen. Like if Raiku plays his cards right, maybe he could form some sort of relationship with Kai. And I think that’s what Nebby might be going for.

Oh he already has a strong suspicion. Hence this ‘test’ he’s throwing his way. Although he is a perceptive hunter nin, he tends to be a bit more blind toward the mist side of things. Hence not seeing kiro’s Defection

Meh, I'd rather not abuse it but go for a more natural approach.
I’ve actually been thinking about how we could balance sharingan genjutsu to make it viable but not game breaking. For the genjutsu, the user would offer up a suggestion to the opponent. The opponent can either accept or deny the suggestion after considering their physical and/or mental status. So if the opponent denies the Genjutusu, nothing happens.
For example, with the Hashima fight, rather than just pull the genjutsu on Hashima at the end, Kiro could’ve offered a suggestion instead. That way Nebby would’ve had the chance to consider whether or not the genjutsu worked. Another example could be in the forest with Taiyo and Kilka. Kiro could’ve offered a suggestion to both of them. For Taiyo, it would’ve been to fall asleep or something. Considering Taiyo was specifically stated to be significantly tired at that point, it would be easy to get his mind to accept the suggestion. All Soul would need to do is take Taiyo’s mental/physical condition into account and choose whether to go through with the genjutsu. In Kilka’s case, Kiro used her hunger and made it seem like the fish smelled and looked better than it seemed.
Of course, suggestions aren’t supposed to be mind control level. So say Raiku wanted Kai to trust every word he was saying as genuine. Kai’s pre-existing bias against Raiku is enough to prevent the genjutsu. Secondly, a greater or even more vague suggestion would have a lesser chance of working. That’s because a subtle change is much more easier to get past an opponent.
Too make it balanced for the user, if the opponent completely denies the suggestion, no chakra is taken. But chakra starts being consumed once the opponent’s mind starts considering the suggestion. So you see how Kai was considering Raiku’s change of heart before testing him. If that was the cause of genjutsu, that would be consuming chakra. It would be the same with the Genjutsu Kiro used on Tomiko. She almost lost consciousness but she managed to break through it. Since it partially worked, that still counts as chakra usage.
Of course, it also depends on who the character is facing as well. The chances of a genjutsu from Kiro/Raiku working against a healthy top tier like Azumi or Katsuo would be extremely low. The byakugan apparently makes the wielder nearly immune to genjutsu so Sagisō and Shura would be safe as well. A Kiro/Raiku Genjutsu would have no chance against someone like Asuma. However, one from a higher level Uchiha like Fugaku would have a greater chance. Itachi genjutsu is a different convo tho lel
Against an opponent like Hina though, they would all get obliterated for even attempting genjutsu lmao

Another thing you have to consider is the moment Raiku used his Sharingan on Kai then Kai would be suspicious and it would totally blow his chance of convincing him he's a good Xeno. And even if Kai didn't realize Raiku was using his Sharingan, Hama or Tsuki would've been able to point it out and that might've caused a fight.
Well I was just giving a hypothetical if Raiku had used his sharingan for genjutsu. Your prediction here would most likely happen had he used the sharingan, which he didn’t.
