How does the signal get to Hinagiku? Does the byakugan see them? Whether or not Kiro understands what it says makes no difference. He’s trying to figure out how the information is transferred.
yea, the Byakugan spots it with its wide range of vision.

It's like leaving a note on the ground. While that might not be an effective means of communication for another Shinobi, with the Byakugan they'd spot said note pretty quickly.

I feel like we glossed over hit Finals match with Zaku where Yasu did incredibly well despite the disadvantage XD
Yeah got to hand it to @Top_Smug_ , he improved Yasu drastically all things considered
But Kai did play to her weaknesses.

Ice Drones to match up with Doki and then Organic Freeze to finish them off if I remember correctly.

Plus her specialty was getting countered by bitch-slap moments. She didn't really have any cards to play after that.

Yeah the doki were outnumbered by the ice drones, who made it their focus to make many small wounds to expose their blood, and then organic freeze to combo off of that.

Though even after that great combo, she still managed to chakra eel the rest of his chakra away and beat him

Technically speaking her Doki evened out with the Ice Army and she lost 2 of them to the Ice Freeze and not the third which stuck around till the end.

Plus her Curse Mark buff should have been a better advantage than it actually was. Is all I am gonna say on this topic...
Genjutsu was her advantage :T

Thats what the curse mark does...buff Tayuya's genjutsu. Her only skills are Genjutsu and the Doki. Curse mark doesn't do anything for the Doki, and again, Tayuya's strongest skill was getting broken at the expense of gags.

Considering the very advantage she was supposed to get from her Stage 2 Curse Mark was done away with for a gag-moment it's not a surprise the transformation didn't amount to much.

I meant her physical buffs, I did make Tayuya AU a brawler more so than anything as well with a Brawling Based Taijutsu.

And yeah gag moments hurting characters is a running theme with me XD.

Did they even get into CQC?

If she'd been brawling then she should've won. Curse Mark Stage 2 to base Kai shouldn't have been an issue. Kai isn't even a taijutsu specialist.

The primary genjustu was never broken due to a gag. He had this long flashback and injured himself to get out of said genjustu.
.....she didn't win though. They never finished that fight.

Yes. She did a dramatic game of hide and seek with the doki and Kai. Kai using the iceball to throw off his chakra scent, before teaming up with Taiyo. Realizing they together still wouldn’t beat Tayuya, he cut a deal with her instead

Pretty sure she tried at one point but then I had to limit her because I had to sell the injury from the Ice Freeze thing. This is one area of the fight I myself could have improved upon like the Zaku fight earlier.

So all Shura needed to say was the byakugan can see the message. If he just said that, Kiro would be like “That’s cool. Let’s go.” Just saying that giving some simple information is enough to build a little trust between characters. Good thing Kiro is pretty lax rn lel

Taiyo was dead end and Kai never teamed with him. He just let Tayuya fight Taiyo off alone and didn't do anything as they were working on their deal before hand.

Plus Tayuya was near the end of the run herself.

I wasn't paying super keen attention to that fight. I didn't even want it to happen :T

I had Sagiso call for a retreat because we had no reason to fight.

Organic Freeze is a fairly annoying jutsu.

Hmmm, he was more addressing the what of what the message is though.

It's like I decided to leave a note in Greek, and you asked me what it was, I would tell you its Greek, not that it's words/symbols :T Cause I mean, obviously you can see that.

Kiro can see the 8 trigram symbol so Shura was just telling him what it was.

@Godjacob

He was more interested in Taiyo’s team rather than himself...although the sound of allying with the failure Taiyo and the blowheart Raiku hardly sounded appealing. He had hoped the third cell member would at least be decent.

Our place? I can’t speak for the puppet Xeno, but I know my place. My foot, on your head.”

He would require synchronized movements with Taiyo for a successful coordinated attack against her. If she were backed in, she would use genjustu to get herself out...which was deadly. He would be out if that were to happen. He had to make sure not to let it.

That’s just a sweet way of saying “figure it out yourself” when saying like five words could’ve answered what Kiro was looking for. I mean it doesn’t really make difference at this point. It just shows there’s still a lack of trust there, which is understandable. Plus Koopa explained his reasoning too and it fits with what he’s going for with Shura.

And I say that fight. Was not impressed.

Kai attacked the Doki once, and the Doki in turn failed to land an attack or even get offensive going (Though it did have a creepy visual of twisting its neck to avoid a head stab). This exchange lasted a couple posts then Kai stopped to get the Kiro thing going. If he and Taiyo did press they would have won. They didn't even work together or cooperate despite those two initial posts.

So you are right they did team up, and to that I say I apologize, though it does not make Tayuya's performance any better specially given Kai after the fact took out her last Doki and left her completely helpless in the one on one continuation. So it's better than initially but not by a significant degree.

*shrugs* Well, whatever goes. Kiro hasn't done anything to earn himself distrust, but he hasn't made himself super trustworthy either. We'd need to see something more diffinitive for them to say, trust Kiro with their lives on this mission.

Sagisō spat the remaining two bullets towards Tayuya.

Raiku took notice of the Doki charging at Taiyo and prepare hand seals before putting his hand to his mouth.

"Fire Style: Fire Ball Jutsu!"

He sent out a fire ball in order to stop the Doki from attacking his friend and then looked at his surrounding and saw Tayuya controlling the Doki with her flute so he did hand seals once more.

"Fire Style: Pheonix Flower Jutsu!"

He sent out a barrage of small flames surrounding her from multiple directions and also concealed shuriken in them.

Taiyo
The Leaf genin almost got harmed by the Dojo if it weren't for Raiku saving him with a Fireball. Taiyo smiled at his friend before turning to face Tayuya, a blazing fire lit in his eyes.
"Listen here, sound bitch, this is where you fight your last battle. Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu!" The Leaf-nin proceeded to fire the ball at Tayuya, although it was likely that he could be attacked by other members of the sound four. Once that was a considerable distance away from him, he called out yet another Jutsu.
"Fire Release: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!" He joined Raiku in firing various fireballs at Tayuya, although he was jumping arpund and flipping as he fired his fireballs, and his had no weapons stored in it.

Combined with also Kai’s shattering ice spear. Tayuya tanked a lot of damage

Just realized Kai was fighting in a place where his disadvantage of powerful jutsu using a lot of chakra isn't really a problem. Does that mean on normal land then Raiku would've won because they sort of tied?
If we recreated the Raiku vs Kai fight without an open ocean, Raiku would have won because Kai wouldn’t have been able to use his justu to those big extremes
