Mei is still a very busy woman though, she has several reports to gloss over and several actions to take to mitigate storm-surge damages to the surroundings islands/regions. She'll need to prepare accordingly for future troubles since Damos kinda shafted large sections of the Mist's oceans, and stabbed their fishing industry in the pancreas.

Rebuild the village, prepare for possible economic crisis, prepare a new source of food since no one should be eating fish from that stretch of ocean for a while... *sigh*

Kage is too much work. In any case, Mei will be far too busy to join in this sense of dread thing.
