Naturally it would be the Leaf Village to host these exams, of all years...
As the line to the registration area seemed to grow, a figure with an umbrella to her back and brandishing an Amegakure headband waited in almost cold silence as she seemed to wrestle with many conflicted thoughts over this arrangement. On one hand, she was given a chance to show what a nation often overlooked could do and given the location it would be kind of fitting to rub it in the Leaf's face. On the other hand, this girl seemed to just feel a sense of disgust being in this nation.
Just focus, you can put this aside for now. Just remember, you came here to progress, don't let anything else get in the way.
Azumi seemed satisfied, though as a pair of girls ahead of her seemed to speak one tried to invite the other away which caused her to raise an eyebrow but the Ame Genin turned back to the line. She needed to register, whatever matter that was had been no concern of hers she decided.

"Bwark!"
"Relax girl relax, we're almost there. I'm sure they have something good to eat waiting for us."
"Bwark bwark!"
"By us I mean us, all of us no need to be so worried girl."
Walking past the main entrance of the village gates, a young man and what seemed to be two huskies who flanked each side walked down as he seemed to have a relaxed grin on his face. With his Kumogakure headband dangled around his neck on display, he seemed to eye his surroundings and he had to say for a village who historically his had some bad blood with once upon a time, it wasn't too shabby if he had to say so himself.
Yeah, Kenji felt he'd have a decent time here.
Speaking of Kenji and his companions Lightning and Thundra, sniffed the air as there seemed to be a sweet smell in the air. Naturally his companions dashed ahead and with a sigh Kenji quickly followed able to keep pace as they seemed to approach to some make-shift food "kart" in the middle of the road, and by kart Kenji really meant some guy who sat on the road and seemed to be handing out foot to various other colorful figures. As the trio arrived, Kanji passed a casual look at the figure on the ground as an old memory seemed to click in his head.
"Hum, hey....Bao right?" Kenji asked, as he made his presence known to the group as he seemed to recognize the guy they circled around as an old Academy alumni, while Lightning & Thundra seemed to just pant and eye the bao he had on hand.

Woosh!
What seemed to be an athletic girl bounced on the roofs of various buildings as she quickly moved, and moved with purpose. If one had focused on the exploits of this quick moving Genin, it appeared to be one from Iwagakure.
Woosh!!
She seemed to have an energetic grin to her, and curiously she seemed to desire to go higher rather than mingle or even go to the registration area as expected. Her goal seemed to be to find the tallest building she could find, and her eyes were set on just such a building as there seemed to be a gleam in her eyes.
Woosh!!!
The Iwagakure Genin scaled to the top of the building as she took a moment to scan the stunning view; much as Iwagakure had been a historical rival with the Leaf, she had to admit the village itself was lovely. Besides, not like she had any ill will with the people here, if anything the girl named Tomiko only saw rivals not enemies. A point that dictated her next action, as she began to take a deep breath...
"IF ANYONE HEARS THIS, JUST KNOW I DON'T PLAN TO HOLD BACK AND NO MATTER HOW MANY OF YOU I HAVE TO BEAT I WILL BECOME A CHUNIN! IF ANYONE'S GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT SAY IT TO MY FACE!"
Tomiko smiled as she seemed proud to get that out of her system, course whether anyone had heard her cry over the village or not mattered little to her. She just had so many excited nerves in her system she just had to let it all out at once, which helped to further get her competitive fire going. With that done, she dashed down and had began to make her way to the registration area.
